  • Renee Oteri Engaged To Childhood Love

Renee Oteri has just married her childhood boyfriend, Bracy Maynard, who she says has been her best friend for 22 years. The beautiful blonde experienced a very public dating process as a contestant on ABC’s popular television series, The Bachelor 2014, where she garnered a significant fan following. Though 32-year-old Oteri was not the final choice for Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis, the blue-eyed beauty has married her own special someone.

A source close to the couple recently spoke with Wetpaint about the romance. “Renee has known him since they were 12 years old. He was her first kiss! They were best friends growing up, and even dated a few years ago, but they broke up in 2010.”

The insider spoke about Maynard’s knowledge of Oteri’s involvement in The Bachelor. “He knew she was going on the show, but they don’t talk about it at all. He hasn’t been watching this season, and I doubt he will,” the insider said.

Oteri has already updated the profile information on her Instagram page to read, “Livin’ Life in Flip Flops & Rain Boots | & yes…I’m MARRIED.”

Maynard, who had a career in the military, proposed with a 1.25-carat circle-cut diamond ring made from a 14-karat white gold band. Oteri shared on her Instagram that she was the “happiest girl in the world.”

Many friends and fans have already voiced their congratulations for the couple.

  • Elisabeth Moss: Marriage to Fred Armisen was “Awful”

On the hit television series Mad Men, Elisabeth Moss’ character, Peggy Olsen, has had her share of ups and downs as far as relationships go. But sometimes life imitates art.

Recently 31-year old Moss spoke of her brief marriage to SNL star and Late Night with Seth Meyers bandleader Fred Armisen.

The two met after Mad Men costar Jon Hamm hosted Saturday Night Live in 2008. They got engaged and married in 2009, separated in 2010, and divorced in 2011.

“It’s so hard to talk about,” Moss said in a 2012 interview. “One of the greatest things I heard someone say about him is, ‘He’s so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.’ To me, that sums it up…And I think that’s…that’s it. I’ve never told anyone that. And I don’t want to waste any more of my life talking about it.”

“Looking back, I feel like I was really young, and at the time I didn’t think that I was that young. It was extremely traumatic and awful and horrible,” she adds. “At the same time, it turned out for the best. I’m glad that I’m not there. I’m glad that it didn’t happen when I was 50. I’m glad I didn’t have kids. And I got that out of the way.”

Although Moss enjoys the occasional photo of “celebrities going into Starbucks,” when her divorce made tabloid headlines, it was like a slap in the face. “I always knew that the stuff that you read is not true, but when I was in the situation and you really, actually read things that you apparently said or did that are 100 percent made up…It’s just the strange, simple thing of, that’s your heart they’re talking about, and it just…it sucks.”

None of this really comes as a surprise to Armisen who, in a January interview with Howard Stern, said he was a “terrible husband.”

“I want it all – fast…I want to be married,” he said. “The amount of girls I’ve lived with – right away – and then somewhere around a year, two years, I get freaked out. Freaked out emotionally…and I actually feel like, ‘oh my god, who is this stranger in my house?’”

Although Moss will speak frankly of her ex-husband, she zips up when it comes to her involvement in Scientology, a controversial Hollywood religion.

“I’m not going to talk about it anymore…it’s private, off limits.”

Moss recently won a Golden Globe award for her role in the mini-series Top of the Lake. She will co-star in the final season of Mad Men starting in April on AMC.

  • Texas Gay Marriage: Federal Judge Strikes Down Ban

On Wednesday, Judge Orlando Garcia struck down the ban on gay marriage in Texas. The judge went on to say that he did not do it to defy the people of Texas, but to comply with the U.S. constitution.

The decision was an answer to a suit filed by gay couples that challenged the constitutional amendment of Texas regarding banning gay marriage. Voting was done in 2005 and the results showed that 76% agreed to ban gay marriage in the state.

Garcia said that he carefully thought about his decision and that the ban goes against the country’s constitution on due process and equal protection. The current law in Texas prohibits gay couples to marry, thus demeaning them for no legitimate governmental purpose.

The judge’s ruling will not be in effect immediately. It means that gay couples in Texas cannot get married while the case is still in appeal.

Gilberto Hinojosa, Texas’ Democratic Party chairman, said that the ruling is a big step for the state’s LGBT community. He also stated that gay couples just want to have responsibilities and benefits that married couples have.

One of the four plaintiffs who brought the lawsuit forward, Victor Holmes, also rejoiced with judge’s decision with a fist pump and a “Woo hoo!” Holmes and his partner Mark Phariss are veterans of the U.S. Air Force. They are happy about the decision Garcia has made and take it as a first step towards the possibility of getting married.

On the other side, those who are opposed to gay marriage will still be fighting for what they believe in. Greg Abbott, Texas Attorney General, said that they would be challenging the ruling, as the U.S. Supreme Court has stated that each state has the authority to define marriage and that the state’s constitution dictates that marriage is an act between a man and woman.

The decision to ban gay marriage in Texas may ultimately be up to the Supreme Court.

  • Kaley Cuoco Discusses Her Quickie Marriage

During Monday’s episode of the Late Show With David Letterman, Kaley Cuoco, or should we say Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, opened up about her whirlwind romance and her quickie marriage to Ryan Sweeting.

“We met on a blind date,” the Big Bang Theory star recalled. Cuoco explained that they instantly hit it off. “We texted a little bit, dinner was great, and then he moved in the next day.”

Cuoco said that she know if may sound strange to some onlookers, but it really wasn’t … it just felt right. “It sounds so slutty, but it wasn’t,” she said.

Sweeting proposed to Cuoco after only three months of dating. “It all did move quite fast on paper, but we really did know,” she said. “I’m totally married,” she told David Letterman. “I know you’re all thinking, ‘She’s nuts!’ I swear I’m not nuts! We were throwing a New Year’s Eve party anyway, and I was like, ‘Let’s throw a ceremony in the party and not tell anybody.’”

Cuoco confessed that, while she did not want to tell anyone about the ceremony, she actually did slip up more times than not. “It was supposed to be a secret. The problem was, I could not keep my mouth shut. Like, I’d be getting my nails done, and I’d be like, ‘Listen, I’m totally getting married in a few months,’” Cuoco admitted. “And then I’d go get my gas pumped, and I’d be telling the attendant, like, ‘I’m getting married in a few months, but you’re the only one that knows, so don’t tell anyone!’”

“There’d be all these articles, and my husband would be like, ‘How does everyone know we’re getting married?’” Cuoco said. “And I’d be like, ‘I do not know. I do not know.’”

Despite their very fast moving relationship, Cuoco and Sweeting are obviously very much in love, and plan on taking a lavish honeymoon sometime in the near future.

  • Proposing Through Google Glass Is Already a Thing, Will Probably Become a Bigger Thing

Google Glass is still a technology in its infancy–with only a small percentage of “explorers” currently sporting the smart goggles. Still, that hasn’t stopped them from documenting even the most intimate and personal experiences via Glass, for the entire world to see.

Case in point–the rash of Google Glass explorers that are using the tech to capture their marriage proposals. Google recently released a cutesy video called “Marry me (through Google Glass),” which features a handful of couples popping/getting popped the big question.

“The beauty of Glass is that it allows us to capture important moments both big and small. It’s not about technology, it’s about the people who use it. Congrats to all our betrothed Explorers in this film, and thanks for sharing your special moment,” said the Google Glass team in a post.

I think I know the next step.

  • Jessica Biel’s Marriage Is Too “Hard Going”

Jessica Biel’s Marriage Is Too “Hard Going”

One of the biggest celebrity weddings of 2012 was the marriage of 7th Heaven’s Jessica Biel and former NSYNC member Justin Timberlake. Since then, there has been tons of speculation regarding their relationship, especially when Biel didn’t attend last year’s American Music Awards with her hubby, who was given several awards during the show.

Biel quickly took to Twitter to address the speculation saying that she was content to be watching the show from the comfort of her home.

Not only was Biel fed up with the gossip, Timberlake’s mother Lynn Harless had also had enough, and took to her personal Facebook page to set the record straight.

““I really try not to comment on bulls–t stuff, but I get so sick of all these stupid tabloids printing all the crap that they do about my son and his beautiful wife, who by the way are immensely happy and so much in love!” she wrote at the time. “Why don’t some of you act like journalist and print a real story! Report some actual news and stop making up rumors about people’s lives who are otherwise VERY happy!”

So, apparently their marriage isn’t on the rocks, and people are starting to wonder when there will be little Jessicas and Justins running around.

Sadie Bomar, Timberlake’s grandmother, dished out some information about her grandson’s marriage, and revealed that their relationship is too “hard going” for them to have children anytime soon.

“They are married but they are so busy, both of them, it’s hard going,” Sadie was quoted as saying. “I’m sure when it’s right to have children they will, but not now. They do love each other dearly but they are apart so much it’s going to be hard going for them,” she explained. “I think Jessica finds that really tough. She’s on her own a good deal.”

Bomar also worries that the couples’ hectic lifestyles will one day hurt their relationship. It’s not surprising that Biel and Timberlake are always on the go with their music and acting careers, but will that lead to the fall of their marriage?

“If he’s not coming back at night that puts a strain on things, of course it does,” Bomar said. “It’s hard to keep it all going but you have to have faith to keep it all going. I have faith in them and I believe they love each other dearly but I know they need time together.”

  • Oklahoma State Rep. Wants To Ban All Marriages

Oklahoma state representative Mike Turner (R-Edmond) may look like Sam The Wise, but don’t be fooled into thinking their feats are similar; while they both want to destroy rings that represent powerful bonds, the former wishes to end all bands of matrimony for the sake of keeping same sex marriage illegal.

Armed with a shell bill – a proposal that can alter at almost any time to react to upcoming rulings – Turner wishes to counter U.S. District Judge Terence Kern’s decision made on January 7th, which invalidates Oklahoma’s Question 711, an amendment that bans same-sex marriage.

Kern reasoned that the ban violated the Fourteen Amendment’s equal protection clause, noting the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling last term in United States v. Windsor which defeated the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

“[Courts] must be wary of whether ‘defending’ traditional marriage is a guise for impermissible discrimination against same-sex couples.” Kern wrote.

Patience is key for Turner, as he waits for Kerns’ case to be appealed at the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver; once the federal appeals process is over, Turner will add the final touches to his bill.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjcPH3hnj-o

“[My constituents are] willing to have that discussion about whether marriage needs to be regulated by the state at all,” Turner told News 9.

Nicole Flatow of Think Progressive mentioned how Turner’s move draws parallels to the tactics used during Jim Crow south where the U.S. Supreme Court ordered states to desegregate schools in Brown v. Board of Education. Virginia Senator Harry F. Byrd contributed to a “massive resistance” campaign in which “Virginia legislature ordered the closure of schools subject to a desegregation order.”

“When that tactic was invalidated by courts, one county went so far as to shut down its public school system entirely from 1959 until 1964.” Flatow wrote.

Turner knows that his idea has made a few people uncomfortable, but says “I accept that.”

  • Jessica Biel: Is There A Baby On Board?

Jessica Biel: Is There A Baby On Board?

Is Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s marriage on the rocks? Apparently the couple has not been seen together in public in quite some time, and fans are starting to wonder.

During the American Music Awards in November, Biel was no where to be seen, even though Timberlake was taking home several awards. Biel was absent again during Wednesday night’s People’s Choice Awards, where Timberlake also bagged several awards.

Despite Biel being missing from the crowd, Timberlake did acknowledge his wife briefly while accepting his awards. “Thank you! I would like to thank Ellen for all the personal inspiration and the cookies — bakes a hell of a cookie,” Timberlake said. “No, I’d like to thank my parents for continuing to instill in me that no dream is too big. “I’d like to thank all the fans who voted. I’ll take it — people’s champ, I love it. And I’d like to thank my beautiful wife for teaching me patience and the little things like just putting the dishes in the dish washer. It goes a long way — fellas, you’re welcome!”

According to a celebrity gossip site Blind Gossip, Biel is pregnant and showing, which is why she is staying out of the public eye. “He is a very talented multi-hyphenate. She is an actress. Together, they are one very good-looking (and very rich) couple. However, they haven’t been seen together much lately. Is their marriage in trouble? No. In fact, they will be announcing in the next couple of weeks… that she is pregnant with their first child! She is already showing, which explains why she has been avoiding the cameras lately. Congratulations to the happy couple!”

  • Hilary Duff and Husband Separate on Compromising Terms

Today is a very sad day for Hilary Duff’s marriage, or is it?

Duff, 26, and husband Mike Comrie, 33, have decided to call it quits and end their marriage of three years. However, their intentions are completely the opposite in comparison to most celebrity divorces or general divorces for that matter.

According to a report by People, an insider shared how:

“There was no major incident – no big event between the two of them. They really did drift apart. They have put effort and thought into this decision for a long time. They tried couples therapy, but in the end, they realized at this time, they work better as friends. And they really are great friends.”

Duff’s reps have also added that the reassessment of their marriage was a mutual agreement and not just “a rash decision.”

Duff’s mother, Susan Duff, confirmed with TMZ that her daughter “loves Mike but sees the breakup this way, “They’re better friends than a married couple.””

The two plan to stay best friends for the sake of their 21-month-old son Luca Cruz. Duff and Comrie will preferably be considering joint custody of their son, in which sources say they plan to take to the park TOGETHER.

Duff recently posted a tweet thanking all her fans for their support, which further confirmed her and Comrie’s decision.

Here is the most recent photo of the two on New Years Eve…

Thankfully this wasn’t a sudden decision by the two but instead one that ended on compromising terms.

  • Utah Gay Marriage Laws Pending Final Resolution

Utah Gov. Gary Herbert announced Wednesday that the state will not recognize gay marriages performed since Dec. 20 pending a final ruling by the courts.

U.S district judge Robert Shelby ruled on Dec. 20 that the state’s ban on same-sex marriage was unconstitutional. Consequently, an appeal was lodged by the state to overturn the ruling and the Supreme Court suspended same-sex marriages in Utah until the matter is heard and determined.

“The original laws governing marriage in Utah are back to effect pending final resolution by the courts,” a memo from the governor’s office said.

Essentially, what this means is that those gay/lesbian couples who were in the process of obtaining a marriage license, applying for benefits or adopting children will have to wait until a ruling is made.

However, those who had finalized their marriages will still retain their marriage rights. Paul Smith, an appeals lawyer said the law can’t undo relationships in which marriage licenses had been obtained and weddings performed.

Missy Larsen, Utah’s Attorney General spokeswoman said that those couples who have not yet had weddings will also not be recognized even if they have gotten marriage licenses.

“The ceremony had to have taken place. It had to have been solemnized,” Larsen said.

The 10-bench Supreme Court judges ruled Monday that given the state’s appeal same-sex marriages could not continue during the period of the hearing.

Salt Lake County clerk Sherrie Swensen mentioned that 1,061 marriage licenses had been issued in Salt Lake County between Dec. 20 and Monday and the majority of them comprised of same-sex marriages. She is now trying to see if a refund can be issued to couples that bought licenses but are now not able to use them.

Though same-sex marriages are slowly becoming legal nationwide, Utah is still one of 33 states in the U.S. that has outlawed gay couples the right to be married.

Utah’s decision has left some couples who were in the process of wedding in distress, especially those who had already incurred wedding expenses and made logistical arrangements for the events.

  • Alexa Vega: Spy Kids Star Ties the Knot

Alexa Vega: Spy Kids Star Ties the Knot

Alexa Vega of Spy Kids fame married Big Time Rush’s Carlos Pena on Saturday. The couple said, “I do” during an intimate ceremony in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Alexa was stunning in a simple silk white wedding dress–even though this was her second trip down that proverbial aisle. She was previously married to producer Sean Covel. The pair divorced in 2012, citing irreconcilable differences.

Challen Cates from Big Time Rush was excited to share a photo of the newlyweds, showing Alexa Vega’s wedding dress in all its simple splendor. She was just one of the guests at the wedding having fun running around with her camera, capturing photos of herself with Carlos and other guests. Probably the best one she took, however, featured herself with both the bride and groom. You can see how understated, but elegant, Alexa’s wedding dress and simple crown of flowers suited her perfectly.

    She captioned her photo, “Most fun wedding ever! Congratulations @TheCarlosPena & @alexagvega #live #love #carlexa#wedding @_AaronMcPherson.”

Just prior to marrying Carlos Pena, Alexa Vega shared her excitement via Twitter.

And the day after the wedding, she tweeted yet again–this time as a newly married woman.

Hopefully this marriage will be the happily ever after Alexa Vega has been looking for. She was quite young when she married the first time. Now at 25 (Carlos Pena is 24) she has no doubt grown up a bit and is likely far more suited to dealing with married life. Congratulations to them both, and may this newlywed couple enjoy a lifetime of happiness together.

  • Catherine Zeta-Jones Reunited with Husband Following Separation

REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD!

I’m more than positive this should be the theme song dedicated to the reconciliation of one of Hollywood’s long-standing married couples.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, 44, and her 69-year-old husband Michael Douglas were seen together on Dec. 22 for the first time following a four-month separation.

The two have faced a few trials within the past few years. Douglas has been battling with tongue cancer and Zeta-Jones has her ups and downs with a bi-polar condition, therefore, a growing distance between the two is not a complete surprise.

In reference to her condition, Zeta-Jones told InStyle US last year, “You find out who you really are and who you are married to. You find things inside yourself you never imagined were there.”

Perhaps new revelations about the duo’s marriage came to the surface amidst her struggle with the disorder.

The A-list couple decided to take a break in August to “to evaluate and work on their marriage,” according to Zeta-Jones’ publicist.

However, it seemed that the spirit of holiday cheer have finally brought these two back together.

Their New York date included taking their two children to lunch, a movie and Broadway play. Sources even say that the couple appeared to be nothing less than cordial around each other.

Despite the breakup, Zeta-Jones continued to wear her wedding ring out in public.  It was refreshing to see that the two were still hopeful in working their differences out being that both had on their wedding rings while out together on this particular day.

After 13 years into the marriage, one of them for sure hopes to make things work.

“I hope to resolve my marriage in a positive fashion,” Douglas told GQ Magazine in an interview.

Maybe 2014 will be the year to star fresh for the Hollywood couple.

  • Dot-Marie Jones Ties The Knot With Bridgett Casteen

It’s official! Glee star Dot-Marie Jones, and her long-time girlfriend Bridgett Casteen, have tied the knot!

Jones is best known for playing Coach Shannon Beiste on the popular fox television show. She proposed to Casteen, while at Disneyland during the Gay Days Anaheim weekend in October. Once Casteen had accepted Jones’ proposal, Casteen took to Twitter to share the news with all of her friends, family, and fans. She tweeted: “Thank you [Jones] for making me the happiest woman in the world.” “It’s the happiest day of my life. I never though I’d find somebody that is so loving and kind,” Jones said at the time.

On Saturday night, the couple invited their close friends and family over for a Christmas party. However, their guests were soon surprised to find out that they would actually be witnessing the couple’s wedding ceremony.

The morning of her surprise nuptials, Casteen posted a tweet on Twitter that read: “Oh happy day.” Casteen also changed her profile name from Casteen to Jones. Although this is the first marriage for Jones, 49, this is the second marriage for Casteen, 39, who has two children from her previous marriage.

  • Lamar Odom: Is Failed Marriage His Fault?

As earlier reported by us, Khloe’ Kardashian has officially filed for divorce– adding another link to the long chain of professional and personal trouble Lamar Odom has been experiencing these past few years.

Lamar Odom started a promising NBA basketball career in 1999 with the Los Angeles Clippers. There he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Team, and gained great strides with the Clippers before leaving to play a brief stint with the Miami Heat. His most notable performances were during the following eight Laker seasons, in which he helped bring two NBA championships home as well as a Sixth Man of the Year Award.

He got chummy with a well-known family during this time with the Lakers, and soon we were keeping up with him and Khloe’ Kardashian’s whirlwind relationship that quickly resulted in marriage.

A fairy tale romance was not destined to be, however; in the words of Andre 3000– it looks like the couple’s love is ending in a Hollywood Divorce.

Who is to blame for another marriage gone wrong? While the public tries to decide (as if it is our business, and not theirs), many blame Lamar Odom’s publicized troubles for the divorce. Here are a few of his trouble’s highlowlights:

-On July 17, 2011, Lamar Odom was a passenger in a car that killed a 15-year-old pedestrian. Divorce-worthy? Probably Not.

-Lamar takes time off from NBA to care for seriously ill father in April of 2012. Divorce-worthy? Hopefully the reduction of income to care for his father wasn’t a cause of disgruntlement for Khloe’.

-Lamar is arrested for a DUI on August of this year and immediately checks into rehab only to leave almost immediately. Denied rumors of drug abuse run rampart via “trusty and reliable news sources.”

Has the kitchen gotten too hot for Khloe’ and she wants out, or was it just not meant to be?

This recent freestyle video of a shirtless and wasted Odom rapping about maybe cheating on his wife doesn’t help anything:

and Khloe’ is understandably staying quiet about the divorce right now.

Do you think Lamar should be blamed for the divorce? Arsenio Hall isn’t buying it,

fans seem to be nearing a breakdown:

and we all know that rarely is just one person to blame for a divorce. For whatever reason that it has happened, it’s hard to see another dream of living happily together fall apart.

  • Zoe Saldana Protects Her Marriage

Zoe Saldana married her husband, Marco Perego, six months ago, in June 2013. So, why are we just now hearing about her nuptials? Saldana has vowed to protect her marriage, and has made the decision to keep her personal life out of the spotlight.

“I love what I do so much, but I love my [personal] life more,” Saldana told Ocean Drive magazine. “I realized through the years of being in this business that the only way to maintain some kind of sanity is to protect that which is most dear to you, which is your life and everyone that’s in it.”

By keeping her private life private, she says that it provides a sense of sanity for her when she is not portraying a character on-screen. “[That] provides a sanity that gives me the ability to be insane by playing other people and living in other bodies for a long period of time, and then coming back home and knowing that my roots are so grounded that it’s easy for me to go back to being myself,” Saldana said. “The only way I can continue having that is by absolutely avoiding the questions that are asked.”

Saldana also notes that, even though she chooses to be an actress and be in the media, her friends and family do not. Therefore, she respects their privacy. “I like respecting all of the family members that are in my life and my friends,” she said. “These are people that choose to be in my life; they’re not choosing to be in what I do. So I owe it to them to keep them protected.”

  • Terrence Howard Secretly Marries For A Fourth Time?

Terrence Howard Secretly Marries For A Fourth Time?

The Huffington Post has revealed that actor Terrence Howard has secretly married a fourth time. This time to a new girlfriend named Miranda – a Canadian, that he has only been dating for one month.

The newly wedded couple were seen wearing gold bands around their left ring fingers at the premiere of the “Best Man Holiday” in Los Angeles, November 5.

Howard and his ex-wife, Michelle Ghent, filed for divorce in February 2011 and finalized it in May. His ex-wife reportedly filed for divorce just one year after they married when she claimed that Howard physically abused her while they were together. She claimed that Howard “sucker punched her” in the face and attempted to gag her on several occasions. “While I was on the ground, [Howard] kicked me repeatedly in the head and shoulders with strong blows,” she said. “I knew I had to get away from [Howard] or he would try to kill me.”

Meanwhile, Howard has reportedly not been making timely spousal support payments to Ghent as required by court order. According to court documents, payments were to commence on May 5, 2012. However, the former Oscar nominee has only been making “sporadic payments” to Ghent and owes her $122,221.64 including interest and $15,500 in legal fees.

Ghent has said that Howard’s alleged default in payments has led to her credit score being ruined. Howard also owes her some money he allegedly used during their trip to Costa Rica when they were trying to reconcile earlier this year.

  • Catherine Zeta-Jones Gets Daily Visits From Michael Douglas

Is Catherine Zeta-Jones and her estranged husband, Michael Douglas, heading for reconciliation? It looks like the couple may be mending their relationship, as reports tell us that Douglas visits his wife and children almost daily. Douglas’ way back into Zeta-Jones’ heart…pancakes!

According to a family friend, Douglas shows up at Zeta-Jones’ home nearly every day and makes his wife and two children, Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10, pancakes. Zeta-Jones still has not ruled out a divorce, but it seems that she may be warming up to Douglas’ attempts of getting his family back. “Michael would give his right arm for a reconciliation but Catherine’s warned she is not ready to commit and she’s still not ruled out divorce,” said a source close to the couple.

Apparently Zeta-Jones is still upset about a comment that Douglas made about the reasons behind his battle with tongue cancer. He allegedly blamed his illness on oral sex, which infuriated Zeta-Jones. “Catherine is making him suffer,” the source added. “She nursed him through those dark days when cancer almost took his life and she feels the comment about oral sex was like a kick in the teeth.

However, Zeta-Jones is welcoming him into the home and is loving that he is being so hands-on with the children. There is one rule though, he must return to his house to sleep at night.

“When he’s in New York, he makes the kids breakfast and comes back in the evening to watch TV with them before bedtime,” the source continued. “Then he gets his marching orders from his wife and returns to sleep at his own place in Manhattan. Michael is very bothered about spending regular downtime with Dylan and Carys rather than just seeing them for dinners and days out. It’s very sweet when he turns up at the apartment to cook for them because he so desperately wants to be back as part of the family’s life. Catherine thinks it’s really touching he’s being so hands-on with the kids – and he’s praying it’s the key back into her heart.”

  • Longest Married Couple In U.S. Celebrate 81 Years Together

102-year-old John Betar and 98-year-old Ann Betar have been married now for 81 years. Given that these days most marriages in the U.S. end in divorce, Mr. and Mrs. Betar are truly an inspiration. The couple, however, admit that “it isn’t a lovey dovey thing for 80 years.” John did however reveal the secret to their long-lasting marriage: “always agree with your wife.”

Today reported that John and Ann eloped on Nov 25, 1932, escaping their small Syrian neighborhood in Bridgeport, Connecticut because Ann’s father was planning to marry her off to a man twenty years older than her.  “I had no choice but to elope because my father was set on me marrying a much older man, and I was 17. • Jordan Feldstein Marries Francesca Eastwood

Okay, so here’s the deal. Francesca Eastwood’s name sounds familiar of course, because she is Clint Eastwood’s daughter, but the man she just married, Jordan Feldstein, is Jonah Hill’s brother.

That is certainly an interesting connection for Hollywood, and Jordan Feldstein, who is not an actor like his famous brother, will now have a reason to enter the spotlight.

After the recent marriage of this Hollywood couple, it appears that not quite everything in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Francesca Eastwood, the 20-year-old model and actress, had been dating Jordan Feldstein for two years before they decided to tie the knot in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas.

The couple filed the marriage license with the Clark County Recorder’s Office, tying the knot on Sunday November 17th. It was apparently such a secret that it did not even make headlines until almost a whole week later.

Jordan Feldstein and Francesca Eastwood have done quite a good job of hiding their relationship from the press, managing to never be seen or photographed together. Eastwood was also seen out on Thursday night, and not wearing a wedding ring.

While not seen in the spotlight like his new wife, Jordan Feldstein is a music manager, and the CEO of Career Artist Management Founder. Before meeting Feldstein, Eastwood had been in a long term relationship with the celebrity photographer Tyler Shields, and their relationship was shown throughout the show Mrs. Eastwood And Company, along with her step-mother, Dina Eastwood.

When talking about how she met the unknown Feldstein who happens to be Jonah Hill’s brother, Eastwood said “We’ve been together two years and met doing a photo shoot together.”

Francesca Eastwood, the 20-year-old daughter of Clint Eastwood, and Frances Fisher, was seen at the Miss Golden Globe during last year’s award show, and that honor will be given to Sosie Bacon this year, who is the daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick.

Well, the secret Las Vegas marriage between Jordan Feldstein and Francesca Eastwood is not such a secret anymore, and fans can all weigh in with their support. There is likely to be a great shock at the connection between the two when people start talking about the new couple too.

  • Illinois Legalizes Same Sex Marriage: Signed Into Law On Wednesday

In an effort to join the rest of the states that are becoming more progressive, Illinois has jumped on the same-sex bandwagon. On Wednesday, Governor Pat Quinn signed it into law, allowing same-sex couples to be married, and enjoy all of the same benefits that heterosexual couples have been getting since the institution of marriage began.

The same-sex weddings would be able to start next summer, and the decision makes Illinois the 16th state to legalize same-sex marriage.

The trend is certainly catching on, and a time where much of the country allows same-sex couples to be married cannot be too far away.

In becoming the 16th state, Illinois follows Hawaii, who recently legalized same-sex marriage on November 12th, and the law will go into effect on December 2nd.

Pat Quinn, as Governor, also realizes that it is partly his job to set an example in his state, which might help others follow suit. He reiterates this when stating “We understand in our state that part of our unfinished business is to help other states in the United States of America achieve marriage equality.”

Illinois is a state where same-sex was bound to happen eventually, due to it being a state where Democrats lead both legislative chambers and the governor’s office. Civil Unions were also legalized in 2011, however the road to legalize same-sex marriage was not as easy as some people might think, since with this issue, there are always going to be some people who oppose it.

The law was of course fought hard by some of the state’s most well-known religious leaders, but luckily with a push in the final days from Pat Quinn and House Speaker Michael Madigan, the bill was able to be signed into law.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel gave a strong statement in support of the law when saying “There is no straight or gay marriage in Illinois. There is only marriage.”

Illinois legalizing same-sex marriage is a big step in the right direction for human rights nationwide, and after becoming the 16th state to do so, they are likely to set an example for many more to follow in their footsteps.

  • Faith Hill And Tim McGraw Getting Divorced?

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw’s marriage is one of the few celebrity marriage success stories. So, when rumors started about a possible divorce in their future, Hill quickly made it known that they had no plans of divorce and are happily married.

“Rumors seem to be running like crazy right now for some reason. It’s perplexing,” Hill said. “I don’t know why ‘happy’ can’t be a story.”

The country music superstars have been married for seventeen years and have three daughters, Gracie, 16, Maggie, 15, and Audrey, 12, together. During an interview with ET’s Nancy O’Dell, Hill claims she has no idea where the rumors even originated.

“We don’t even know where this stuff came from. We’ve been in the tabloids for years, ever since we’ve been together,” Hill said. “Our children know the truth. … The people that you’re around, they know the truth. … It’s unfortunate. I don’t know why happiness doesn’t sell. I don’t know why tragedy sells and untruth sells, but again, you just have to stop buying the stuff.”

In an interview with PEOPLE, McGraw also defended his marriage. “We’ve been married 17 years, and since the first week we were married those things were out,” McGraw said. “We don’t even think about it. The only time we ever think about it is when we worry about the kids. But they’ve been around it, too, so they laugh it off.”

Hill and McGraw are just finished up a residency at the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas with their “Soul2Soul” show on Friday night.
