  • Miranda Kerr: Did Orlando’s Partying Do In Marriage?

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have both been rumored to have moved on from their marriage that ended in October of last year.

Obviously, Miranda Kerr reportedly had a rumored fling with Justin Beiber (of all people).

That little fling led to Beiber being almost decked and dropped by Orlando last week, which led to the world giving Bloom a collective high-five.

The pair seemed very happy up until their split was announced. In fact, friends of Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom said they didn’t even know they were having issues.

So, what went wrong between Miranda Kerr and Bloom?

One source said that Orlando Bloom was the problem.

“Orlando’s very frustrated right now about his career and his private life. He maintains the split with Miranda was completely amicable — many of us had no idea they were about to separate,” said a friend. “He won’t hear a word against Miranda [Kerr].”

This same source said that Miranda Kerr’s ex is tired of Pirates of the Carribean and sick of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Even though both of those movies made Orlando Bloom his fortune, he wanted to do something different and meaningful.

“He really wants edgy indie roles, but there haven’t been too many of them, and the small films he has landed have not taken off.” his pal said. “This time two years ago he went to South Africa to film Zulu with Forest Whitaker, but it can’t get a release in the US.” the friend said of Miranda Kerr’s then-husband.

He continued, “And he still bitterly regrets listening to his agent who advised him to pull out of the Nick Hornby film An Education that went on to be a stellar success with Dominic Cooper in the role.”

These career frustrations reportedly led to serious drinking and partying, which led to trouble in his marriage to Miranda Kerr. The couple have a three-year-old son, Flynn, who they have to care for, after all.

Other sources say that Miranda Kerr’s ex, Orlando Bloom, has trouble saying no when his friends want to go out at night. He has really had his friends worried about his life spinning out of control.

Hopefully, Bloom can get it together and salvage his relationship with Miranda Kerr, even if it’s just to be a stable co-parent to their son.

  • Nicole Richie Loves Being A Mother

Nicole Richie Loves Being A Mother

Nicole Richie is known for trying to keep her private life…well…private. But now, thanks to Oprah, she is beginning to open up to the world about what her life is like. On Oprah Winfrey’s Where Are They Now?, she revealed much about her life as wife to Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden.

“From the second we found out we were going to be parents together, we looked at each other and said, ‘OK, both of our parents are divorced, we’ve both had ups and downs with our parents, and we don’t exactly have a strong example of what a healthy family life is,” Nicole Richie admits. “But, we’re recognizing that now, so let’s work at it. Let’s go through this together as a team, and it’s been great. And I would say that that’s the easiest and hardest part.”

Obviously she is much different now than she appeared to be when she was Paris Hilton’s cohort on The Simple Life. Nicole Richie is a wife and also the loving mother of two kids, Harlow, six, and Sparrow, who is four.

Having kids changes who you are, we all know that. And the same seems to be true for Nicole Richie. She has a strategy for being a good parent and giving her kids the best she can.

“My kids operate best when I let them have a voice, and I really explain things to them,” she says. “Because really, kids want to be told the truth. They just do. They want you to be truthful.”

For Nicole Richie, being a parent is absolutely the most fulfilling part of her life these days.

“It’s the best. It teaches you a lot about yourself and about patience and about coming from a place of love and constant compassion,” she said.

Nicole Richie continued, “Having kids gives you the opportunity to be the real you. I love being a mother and being a real example to my kids. It’s fun – you get to relive your childhood all over again.”

Sweet thoughts! So glad Nicole Richie has grown up to be a great mother and decent human being.

  • Nicole Richie Opens Up About Marriage

Nicole Richie Opens Up About Marriage

Nicole Richie is a very happily married woman to her husband Joel Madden. However, she admits that it is not always easy, and takes a lot of hard work, to make a relationship work.

During a recent episode of Oprah’s Where Are They Now?, Nicole opened up about the best and worst parts of being married.

Nicole has been married to the Good Charlotte rocker for three and a half years now, and revealed to Oprah that they decided before tying the knot that they would set a good example for their children.

“We met and we were partners from day one. And from the second we found out we were going to parents together, we looked at each other and we said, ‘Okay, both of our parents are divorced. We both have had ups and downs with our parents and we don’t really have a strong example of what a healthy family life is. But, we’re recognizing that now, so let’s work at it and let’s go through this together as a team.’ It’s been great,” Nicole said. “And I would say that’s the easiest and hardest part.”

The couple now has two children together, daughter Harlow, 6, and son Sparrow, 4. The former “bad girl” says that she is always working on improving her skills as a mother. “There’s always room for improvement,” she said. “I do know I do the best that I can. I’m probably constantly—every day—talking to other moms figuring out the best way to have a strong relationship with our kids.”

“I have to always come from a place of love and compassion with them,” Richie added. “My kids operate best when I let them have a voice. I really explain things to them, because really, kids want to be told the truth. They just do. They just want you to be truthful.”

  • Robin Thicke Lists His Home For $3 Million

It looks like Robin Thicke has given up on trying to salvage his marriage.

Five months after Robin and his wife of nine years officially separated, the Blurred Lines singer has put his marital home with Paula Patton up for sale.

The former couple listed their three bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home, located in the Hollywood Hills on Bird Streets, for $2.985 million. The house was built in 1965 and was purchased by Alan Thicke, Robin’s father, in the 1990s. Alan later passed the home down to his son in 2005. The property is approximately 3,158-square-foot, and houses a private pool and spa along with a two-car garage in a gated drive.

Robin has been trying for months to win his high school sweetheart back, however his attempts have fallen short. Not only did he make several public announcements in hopes of re-kindling his romance with Patton, he also wrote an entire album titled Paula for her.

“We were together; we were childhood sweethearts. She’s still the best person I ever met. I just thought the least I could do was to devote an album to her,” Robin said while promoting his new album.

It is believed that Paula decided to end her nine-year marriage to Robin after a picture of Robin grabbing another woman’s butt surfaced. The separation also came not long after the release of his hit song Blurred Lines, which people found very controversial, and his racy performance with Miley Cyrus at the 2013 MTV VMAs.

According to TMZ, Robin has been telling people that he is done trying to save his marriage, but he will not be the one to file for divorce. He admitted that he is done begging and is trying to move on.

The couple, who got engaged in September 2013 after dating for two years, said their nuptials in Couric’s backyard in front of 50 of their closest friends and family members.

“We wanted to keep the wedding just very low-key,” Couric told PEOPLE. “This is not my first rodeo so I didn’t want to go too crazy and neither did John.”

The wedding was a family affair, and primary planned by John himself. “I call John ‘Groomzilla!’ ” Couric laughed. “We’re a very modern couple.” The wedding featured readings from Molner’s children, Allie and Henry, and Couric’s children, Ellie and Carrie.

  • Jill Duggar Says ‘I Do’ To Derick Dillard

Jill Duggar Says ‘I Do’ To Derick Dillard

Jill Duggar is officially a married woman and can kiss her husband anytime she wants.

The couple tied the knot on Saturday, June 21, at the Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas. Because Jill and Derick both adhere to strict religious traditions, they shared their first kiss while standing at the altar.

Jim Bob Duggar, Jill’s father, introduced the newlyweds last year while Derick was doing missionary work in Nepal. The couple started talking through Skype and text messaging, and later decided to enter into a courtship (a stricter form of dating). On March 29, with Jim Bob’s permission, Derick decided to ask Jill to marry him, and she of course said yes.

On the couple’s wedding website, Derick detailed how he met his bride.

“The answer to my prayer came in August 2013, just before I left Nepal for a two week trip to Japan,” he wrote. “During a conversation with Jim Bob, he mentioned how he thought Jill and I might get along well, having similar personalities and direction in life. He gave me Jill’s phone number and we began texting, then emailing, then skyping/ talking on the phone. Over the next few months we became very grateful for modern technology as we continued to get to know each other better. Most of our conversations were centered around our values and life goals.”

“At the end of November, Jill and her dad got to come to Nepal for a couple weeks,” he added. “I had no idea what to expect, but I was excited and prayed that God would give clear direction during this time. By the end of the trip I felt the Lord directing me to ask Jill to officially begin a courtship relationship. She agreed and we continued getting to know one another. It would still be two months before I completed my two year term and would move back home to Arkansas. Upon my arrival home (January 2014), I was met by the Duggar clan; this was my first time to meet Jill’s family in person. Over the next few months, I enjoyed spending time getting to know Jill and her family better.”

Their relationship continued to grow, and Derick explained that he knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Jill. “I shared how much I loved her, how I couldn’t imagine life without her, and I asked her, ‘Will you marry me?’” Derick recalled about the proposal.

More than 1,000 guests attended the wedding including at least 100 immediate family members and numerous guests from over 30 states, and with the help of many volunteers, the couple’s wedding went flawlessly. “I’m so grateful to all the volunteers who helped put everything together for the wedding,” Michelle Duggar, the matriarch of the family, said during an interview with PEOPLE. “Everyone has worked hard and done an amazing job.” Putting everything together included preparing 600 cupcakes, 3,000 chocolate chip cookies and 3,000 root-beer floats for the wedding reception.

So, what did Jill think about her first kiss? She revealed that it was definitely worth the wait!

    Congratulations to the happy couple!

  • Jenny McCarthy Wants A Simple Wedding

Jenny McCarthy Wants A Simple Wedding

Jenny McCarthy announced her engagement to Donnie Wahlberg back in April on an episode of The View.

She revealed all of the details about her unique proposal, and how Donnie incorporated Jenny’s son Evan when he decided to ask Jenny to marry him.

“I was sitting on the couch doing what every girl does saying, ‘Tell me how much you love me,’ when he left the room,” McCarthy explained about her proposal. “He and my son Evan came running back in holding a piece of paper saying ‘Will’.”

The duo then left the room and came back with a piece of paper that read “you.” “Then [Donnie and Evan] disappeared and ran back in with another piece of paper that read ‘Mary’, but misspelled it without the second R,” Jenny laughed. Donnie then put on a t-shirt that had the word “me” written on it. When Jenny realized what was happening, she started crying tears of happiness.

The couple previously joked that they would not be having a wedding as extravagant as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s. “We’re not getting married in Istanbul with eight million guests,” Donnie said. “I won’t have three dresses. No seven dresses, not going to happen… that’s their thing, good for them,” Jenny added.”

“We’ll have a small wedding in a really beautiful place and we both want do it right this time,” Donnie told Extra. “We’ve both been married before and we want to make it special – this is the last wedding.”

The couple revealed that they haven’t officially started planning the wedding, and are taking this time to enjoy their engagement and time together.

  • Bill Murray Toasts Groom at Bachelor Party

Bill Murray was enjoying a quick getaway in Charleston, South Carolina over the Memorial Day Weekend when he was pestered by a group of guys–Boston College alumni, to be exact–while having dinner. The guys asked the What About Bob, Groundhog Day, and former SNL star if he would join them at a bachelor party they were attending there in the same restaurant. After he finished his dinner, the actor actually made a brief appearance–flooring everyone (even the original pests) with his presence.

Murray offered up a toast at the bachelor party, and talked to the groom and his guests about life, world travel, true love, and even his ideas on some bizarre places to tie the knot. Probably the most unusual comment of all came when Bill Murray compared the groom to a dead person.

Those in attendance at the bachelor party snapped photos with cameras and on their cell phones. Many video taped the quick visit as well. Now the clips from those films have gone viral.

Some say Bill Murray is known for his impromptu visits and brief encounters with people all around the country.

A man named Stephen, who attended the bachelor party shared his version of the event via a blog called The Concourse on Deadspin.

“Over Memorial Day weekend, 20 of my buddies from Boston College got together in Charleston for our friend EJ’s bachelor party. At one point during dinner at a steakhouse, one guy goes to the bathroom downstairs and sees Bill Murray sitting with some people with a fishing vest on. We talked to the waiter to see if we could send him some drinks, to which Bill declined. One of my buddies then went down and asked if he’d come up and say a few words for EJ and got a “No thanks.” My buddy comes back up dejected and tells us it’s not going to happen. Two minutes later, Bill fucking Murray walks into the room and gives this speech,” Stephen shared.

What a remarkable bachelor party this turned out to be. Way beyond getting drunk and watching a stripper gyrate around the room, these guys got to meet and enjoy a toast given by Bill Murray. Not many grooms can say that of their bachelor party.

  • Lisa Niemi, Patrick Swayze’s Widow, Remarries

Lisa Niemi tragically lost her husband Patrick Swayze to pancreatic cancer in September 2009.

Since then, Lisa has been trying to move on and find happiness, and it looks like she finally has!

According to PEOPLE, the 57-year-old actress tied the knot to jeweler Albert DePrisco on Sunday in Palm Beach, Florida.

Lisa’s rep confirmed that Albert proposed to Lisa on Christmas Eve, after they had been dating for a year and a half. While she didn’t know if she would ever marry again, Lisa told PEOPLE in 2010 that she would be open to getting remarried if she ever found the right person.

“I would love companionship love. Absolutely,” she said. “I hope I’m not one of these women who never want to have another relationship. But who knows, that’s another bridge I’ll cross when I come to it. I may get there and go, I don’t know. But I like to think that I can.”

Apparently, she found “the one” and they were married during an intimate ceremony at the The Mar-a-Lago Club, surrounded by an approximate 50 guests. Lisa was dressed in a gown designed by Oscar de la Renta, and Albert wore a Ermenegildo Zegna jacket with custom made pants.

She also revealed that she planned on having an amazing time at the reception. “I have some hilarious friends. I’m sure there will be some fun toasts!” she said. “Later on we’ll dance to everything from Michael Bublé and Steve Tyrell, to 70’s classics, to current hits, with a big dash of romance thrown in.”

  • Babyface Marries His Longtime Girlfriend

    Babyface Marries His Longtime Girlfriend

On Saturday, May 17, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds married his longtime girlfriend Nikki Pantenberg.

The couple has been dating since 2007, and are the parents to their daughter, 5-year-old Peyton Nicole. They announced their engagement back in February, when Toni Braxton, with whom he collaborated with on their joint album Love, Marriage & Divorce, asked him if he would consider marrying again (he has been married two previous times, and has two sons with his ex-wife Tracy Edmonds), during a BET interview.

“I’ve already considered it,” he said, answering Braxton’s question. “I’m engaged, so yes.” Braxton then asked Babyface what he had learned from his past relationships that have helped him with this one. “The main thing is being honest with yourself and being honest with your feelings,” he explained.

“When we’re not honest with ourselves we just accept situations, don’t talk about them, and as you said, ignore the elephant in the room,” Babyface added. “You better recognize there is an elephant in the room and deal with it, because a lot of times the elephant in the room is the one that you put in there, so you have to deal with it.”

According to PEOPLE, the couple’s wedding took place in Southern California, where they were surrounded by their closest friends and family, including Oprah Winfrey. Singer Carole B. Sager originally posted a video of the wedding on her Instagram account; however, it has since been deleted.

Joran met his wife-to-be Leydi Carol Figueroa Uceda while she was visiting one of her relatives at the Piedras Gordas prison where Jordan is being held in Peru. “They met when she was visiting a relative in prison. They became friends and spent a lot of time together in his cell,” Maximo Altez, Jordan’s attorney told CNN. “Unlike The United States, here in Peru loved ones or relatives can see inmates inside their jails.”

Leydi already has one child, a two-year-old son, and is currently 5 months pregnant with Joran’s baby. “He’s very happy about getting married. Since his girlfriend is pregnant, he wants his child to be born to a married couple and he’s anxiously awaiting the day he can get married,” Altez said.

  • Alexandra Hedison Marries Jodie Foster

    Alexandra Hedison Marries Jodie Foster

Jodie Foster now has a new title to add to her resume … a bride!

Foster’s rep Jennifer Allen confirmed that she, and her girlfriend for over a year Alexandra Hedison, married over the weekend.

The news of Foster’s marriage comes 15-months after publicly coming out about her sexuality. During the 2013 Golden Globes, while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award, Foster addressed what so many already knew … that she is a lesbian.

“There won’t be a big coming out speech tonight because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the Stone Age — in those very quaint days where a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers and then gradually, proudly, to everyone who knew her, who she actually met,” Foster said.

“But now, apparently, I’m told that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance, and a primetime reality show… I am not Honey Boo Boo,” she said. “I have given everything up there since the time that I was 3 years old — that’s reality show enough, don’t you think?”

Hedison previously dated comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, but they later split, after three years, in 2004. Foster was in a relationship with Cydney Bernard for 20 years before calling in quits in 2008. They currently co-parent their two sons Charles and Kit.

    Congratulations to the happy couple!

  • Matt Bomer Reveals He Is Married

Matt Bomer came out publicly as a gay man while accepting an award at the Desert AIDS Project’s Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards in 2012.

After that, fans assumed they knew everything there was to know about the handsome actor, but there is one thing that Bomer has kept a secret … until now.

During a recent interview with Details magazine, Bomer shocked his fans once again by revealing that he is married to his partner Simon Halls, who he has three children with, and has been for three years!

The Magic Mike star also talked to the publication about his newest role in Ryan Murphy’s film adaptation of the play The Normal Heart. In the film, Bomer plays a gay man dying from AIDS. He credits the author of the play Larry Kramer with helping pave the road for gay rights. “I wouldn’t have a lot of the rights I have today if it wasn’t for people like Larry,” Bomer said.

Bomer explained that he had read The Normal Heart when he was in high school, and when he heard that there would be a film, he wanted to be involved in any way possible. “I just wanted to be involved with the project in some capacity,” he said. “I didn’t care what my part was.”

While Bomer had his doubts about landing a role in the film, Murphy did not. “Matt was the first person I felt would do whatever it took to be true to the history of the part and to the millions of people who have died because of this disease,” Murphy said. “I needed somebody who was a protector of that. That meant going on a really dangerous, incredibly severe diet and going to a dark place emotionally.”

Bomer lost 40 pounds for his role with the help of his doctors and a14-day alkalized-water, juice, tea and enzyme cleanse. He also received tips from his Magic Mike co-star Mathew McConaughey, who lost 50 pounds to play an aids victim and activist in Dallas Buyers Club.

  • ‘Jessie’ Lead Marrying in Disney Channel First

The Disney Channel openly admits that its target demographic is six to eleven year old children, despite the propensity of many adults tuning in to the channel as well. Because of this target demographic, however, there are certain concepts Disney Channel shows have not been able to explore. Surprisingly, one of those issues has been marriage. This year, things will change, however, as the Disney Channel plans to air its first wedding of a lead character in one of its shows.

Jessie centers around the life and adventures of 22-year-old Jessie Prescott, played by Debby Ryan, who has moved from a strict, military family in Texas to the great state of New York in order to pursue a career in acting. While there, she manages to land a job as a nanny to four kids for a filthy-rich family. The comedy does a good job at introducing children to diversity as the four children are adopted from India, Africa and America.

In a four-episode arc this fall, however, Jessie’s priorities will be rearranged as she focuses on her up and coming wedding to 25-year-old Brooks, played by Pierson Fode. Disney Channel executives assure its audience, though, that the relationship and wedding will be handled in a chaste manner: “The way we deal with this romance is very pure Disney fairy tale,” stated Adam Bonnett, Disney Channel executive vice president of original programming.

When asked if marriage is an appropriate subject for the show to be progressing toward, Bonnett was confident that Disney was making the right decision.

“Jessie is an adult, and we felt we could tackle this in a way that still feels appropriate for our audience… Our audience isn’t dealing with somebody proposing to them, but they are dealing with choices they have to make in their life, and thinking things through, following their heart and wanting to make the right choice,” Bonnett defended.

When asked of her own opinion on Jessie’s marriage, Debby Ryan made sure to reiterate what the importance of the occasion is really all about: “It’s not about the dress, it’s not about the wedding. It’s about the marriage. That’s something we lose sight of when we’re so young and all we want to do is dress up and play fairy tale.”

While the Disney Channel executives and actress Debby Ryan may believe that the wedding of the lead character is the right move to make for the show, their actions seem to display a sense of hypocrisy. With the Disney Channel’s admitted demographic being children ages six to eleven and Ryan herself believing that children often lose sight of the main message of life events when they are young, it seems odd that Disney is making a marriage the focal points of one of its main shows.

Bonnett has suggested that the wedding will come with a surprise ending, though, perhaps hinting toward a mature decision to delay the marriage at the end? Tune in this fall to find out.

  • Hilary Duff and Hubby at Coachella Despite Separation

Hilary Duff and estranged hubby Mike Comrie were spotted together at Coachella this past weekend, despite announcing their split back in January. The Lizzie McGuire star will return to TV in the near future starring in a new show called Younger. Comrie retired from his professional hockey career back in 2010.

The two wed in 2010 and have a 2-year-old son together. Even though they appeared to be having a great time at Coachella a source for the couple says there’s no reconciliation in the works.

“They are still separated but very good friends … They are at Coachella this weekend, which is sure to fan the flames, but they aren’t a couple. It’s just not true – they remain separated.”

In February–just one month after announcing their plans to divorce, Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie traveled with son Luca to the Bahamas.

After she and Mike Comrie were spotted at Coachella this past weekend she posted the following to Twitter.

If Hilary Duff and her husband honestly haven’t yet reconciled, their actions certainly lend themselves to exactly that some time in the future–don’t you think?

Back in January a rep for Duff and Comrie issued the following statement about the couple.

“Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation. They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other’s lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time.”

Who deemed smooching and cuddling to be part of an ‘amicable separation?’ It certainly seems like something more is definitely going on.

It would be wonderful to learn that Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie have decided to work things out with their marriage and to forgo any efforts toward getting a divorce. It’s always painful when a couple splits–especially when there is a child or children involved.

So what’s your take on Duff and Comrie? Are they separated smoochers or are they working on putting the pieces of their lives back together again?

  • Veronica Berti Marries Longtime Beau Andrea Bocelli

“Naturally, when two people feel like we do, they want to make it a permanent arrangement.”

Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli married his longtime partner, Veronica Berti, on Friday March 21 at the Sanctuary of Madonna di Montenero in Tuscany, Italy.

The couple have been together for twelve years and have a daughter together named Virginia. In fact, Friday was Virginia’s second birthday, thus, the reason Bocelli and Berti chose that date for their nuptial. It was also the first day of spring.

Veronica Berti met Bocelli in 2002. While the two have been in a relationship since then, Berti has also served at Bocelli’s manager and half of of ALMUD, the Andrea Bocelli Business and Management Office. Bocelli’s younger brother, Alberto, serves as the other half.

Bocelli was previously married to Enrica Cenzatti for ten years before separating, though not officially divorcing right away. The two have two sons together, Amos (19) and Matteo (16). In the past Bocelli has said that he and Berti were not planning on getting married any time soon due to the fact that he is a Catholic divorcee. However, after living together in a villa in Forte dei Marmi on the Mediterranean for over a decade, the couple decided it was finally time.

The wedding was attended by a small group of friends and family, including Bocelli’s sons, Amos and Matteo. The reception was held at their villa in Forte dei Marmi.

At the wedding, the 30-year old bride wore an ivory silk satin Ermanno Scervino gown embellished with Valenciennes lace and featuring a silk georgette layer. Over the top of the dress she wore a quilted crepe de chine padded jacket. Her dark hair was pulled back and donned with a sprig of flowers.

55-year old Bocelli wore a blue three-piece silk suit by Corneliani and a white rose on his lapel which matched his bride’s bouquet.

Bocelli is known for both his pop and classical albums, including nine complete operas and fourteen solo studio albums. Born with congenital glaucoma, Bocelli became completely blind when he was twelves years old after an accident during a football game when he was hit on the head and suffered a brain hemorrhage.

Even though his parents were advised to abort him due to complications, they refused. He was born in 1958. As a child, his mother said that they only thing that would comfort him was music. Bocelli won his first song competition at the age of 14 singing “O sole mio.”
