  • Anna Cardwell: ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ Star Suing Mother, June Shannon

Anna Cardwell is the oldest of June Shannon’s daughters. Both mother and daughter starred in TLC’s hit show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, until the show was cancelled when reports hit the media about Shannon being romantically involved with a convicted child molester. Now Anna Cardwell–known as Chickadee on the show–is suing June Shannon–also known as Mama June–for $201,000. She claims her mother owes her for some of her appearances on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.

Cardwell filed suit Monday, naming both June Shannon and Honey Boo Boo LLC. She says they were in control of money that was supposed to go into a trust for her and her daughter.

Anna Cardwell also claims that her two-year-old daughter Kaitlyn is owed nearly $100,000.

TMZ reports that Mama June Shannon and her family earned $22,500 per episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. One-third of that amount was supposed to have been divided between all four of June Shannon’s daughters.

June Shannon claims the money went directly into her daughter’s accounts from TLC, and that she never saw any of the money for which Anna Cardwell has filed suit.

Shannon also says she gave Anna Cardwell a check for $15,400 in December. That was apparently her cut of what the show’s cast members received when TLC pulled the plug on their show.

June Shannon has been outspoken about wanting TLC to cancel 19 Kids and Counting, believing that Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal is as devastating as what she was accused of by TLC. She denies any romantic involvement with Mark McDaniel, the aforementioned convicted child molester.

Meanwhile Anna Cardwell is expecting her second child with her husband Michael. Anna Cardwell is 20 years old.

It will certainly be interesting to see how this issue is resolved.

Do you think June Shannon owes Anna Cardwell that sum of money?

  • June Shannon: History of Dating Sex Offenders

June Shannon–better known as ‘Mama June’ on the cancelled TLC show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo–admits she has dated not just one, but rather two sex offenders. She says she isn’t presently in a relationship with convicted child molester Mark McDaniel, but says she was romantically involved with another sex offender–Michael Anthony Ford, many years ago.

Mama June did an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this week. She claimed that daughters Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Shannon and Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon were both fathered by Michael Anthony Ford. Ford was convicted of sexual exploitation of minors. He was caught on a 2005 episode of NBC’s To Catch a Predator.

June Shannon claims she ‘is done’ with Mark McDaniel. She spoke with Dr. Phil McGraw during an interview that will air on Monday, November 17th, and had the following to say of the man who molested her eldest daughter, Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell when she was just eight years old.

“He’s moved on, he’s got a girlfriend and it’s not me,” she told Dr. Phil.

And even though there is photographic proof that Shannon has brought her children around McDaniel recently, she claims otherwise.

“I would never take my child around someone like that,” she said to Dr. Phil.

TLC cancelled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo after word of June Shannon’s association with Mark McDaniel was made known publicly. She and costar Mike ‘Sugar Bear’ Thompson called it quits, too.

“He cheated, he hurt me a lot. I am not in love with him,” she said.

Mama June is definitely ready for everyone to stop talking about her and convicted sex offender Mark McDaniel.

“I have nothing to hide, I have nothing to lose,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I just want, honestly, to tell my side of the story and let’s move on.”

That’s all well and good, but when sex offenders are exposed to one’s children, that doesn’t just drift away in the breeze. June Shannon will likely experience some fallout for her exceedingly bad judgment for a very long time to come. She’s probably very lucky that fallout is all she’s dealing with–at least for now.

Do you think Mama June Shannon is at risk of losing one of her two younger children because of her recent connection with this sex offender?

  • Honey Boo Boo’s Sister, Anna Marie Cardwell, Breaks Silence On Alleged Child Molestation

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Anna Marie “Chickadee” Cardwell is finally speaking out about all of the rumors surrounding her mother, June Shannon, and her rumored love interest, Mark McDaniel.

For those who don’t know, McDaniel isn’t someone new in Mama June’s life. He’s actually an ex-boyfriend she’s reportedly reconciled with.

However, there’s one conflicting issue about him- he’s a convicted sex offender who served 10 years behind bars for aggravated child molestation.

To make matters even worse, Anna Marie has openly accused him of molesting her when she was eight years old.

During an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 18-year-old reality TV star recalled that difficult time in her life. She revealed her mother has never stated whether or not she ever believed her claims.

“She never said, ‘Hey Anna, I’m sorry for not believing you and I still don’t believe you to this day,’” she revealed. “It’s Mama’s fault,” she said.

“She has to live with it. She has brung the past back and now she can’t get it away.  I’m mad. I’m upset. I feel betrayed. I feel very hurt. That’s the main thing that I am — I feel very hurt that Mama let him come around.”

Although Mama June has denied the rumors about her alleged relationship with McDaniel, Anna Marie insists her mother is quite different when McDaniel is present.

She also revealed her mother doesn’t believe McDaniel actually molested any other girl. “It’s like she’s happy,” she said of her mother.

“She’s smiling and giggling when he’s around. You know, he’s a child molester, Mama. He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did? And reportedly done it to another girl? And Mama was like, ‘Oh, he never done it to another girl.’”

“Mama’s not supposed to be around him!” she added. “She just knows! And she let him get around Lana and Pumpkin!”

On Friday, Oct. 24, TLC announced the cancellation of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo due to the shocking allegations.

  • June Shannon Reportedly Dating Sex Offender

June Shannon, also known as “Mama June,” the matriarchal figure featured on the popular TLC network reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, is reportedly dating a convicted child molester – which may have halted any future production of the Toddlers & Tiaras spin-off.

In a picture obtained by TMZ, Shannon, 35, can be seen cozying up next to Mark McDaniel, who was released from prison in March, after serving nearly ten years for aggravated child molestation.

According to Georgia’s sex-offender registry, McDaniel, 53, was convicted in May, 2004, after forcing oral sex on an eight-year-old, who is incidentally a relative of Shannon’s. Mama June and McDaniel reportedly had been dating at the time of the offense.

Mama June’s second-youngest of four daughters, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, has claimed that the photo featuring McDaniel was Photoshopped, and that her mother has been out of contact with him for a decade.

Shannon herself took to Facebook, and commented, “I want to make a post trying to clear up the rumors remember you can’t believe everything you read! Ppl sell stories to the tabloid everyday that r false! It isnt true i promise my kids r #1 priority over anything else and I would never put them in danger period over this or anything else they r my life this is my past I left him 10 yrs ago for it and I wouldn’t go back.”

Mama June reportedly separated from Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, the father of nine-year-old Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, in September, over suspicion of his possible infidelity.

A representative for The Learning Channel commented to People Magazine, “TLC is not currently in production on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series.”
