  • Nick Cannon And Amber Rose: Just Friends Or Shiny New Couple?

Nick Cannon and Amber Rose have something rather unfortunate in common. Each person happens to be one half of a soon-to-be-divorced couple. Both marriages will end after shocking the public with the sudden news.

Along with a recent business venture came the rumors that the two are looking to each other as a way to move on from previous relationships.

At least one insider is claiming that the rumors are absolutely untrue.

The anonymous source allegedly told Hollywood Life that “[they’re strictly together for] friendship and business. More business than anything.”

If you were hoping that Cannon and Rose were going to debut at some point as a new couple, it sounds like that’s not a remote possibility.

Also nixed are rumors that Nick Cannon himself is to blame for the largely unanticipated end to Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa’s marriage.

The insider told Hollywood Life, “Nick’s not a part of Amber’s relationship with Wiz. He’s got respect for both Amber and Wiz.”

The anonymous source added that Cannon was “shocked” at the news of their breakup “just like everybody else.”

Gossip surrounding the pair had picked up following reports that Nick had been spending time with Amber’s young son just days before she announced her divorce.

Though infidelity is a popular rumor used to explain the unexpected breakup, Amber Rose has said that she was faithful to Wiz Khalifa.

On the other hand, the 30-year-old recently took to Twitter to declare that her 27-year-old former beau “can’t say the same”.

The set of tweets may be the closest we ever get to an explanation for why Rose and Khalifa are no longer together.

The Twitter statement represents yet something else Amber Rose has in common with Nick Cannon.

The America’s Got Talent host recently got on Twitter to blast members of the media for allegedly making up lies about the nature of his breakup with Mariah Carey.

He also claimed that quotes were falsely attributed to him in the news.

  • Mariah Carey Continues To Focus On Upcoming Tour

During difficult times, some people just like to stay busy. It looks like Mariah Carey is one of those people. Even though she is in the middle of separating from Nick Cannon, her husband since 2008, the pop singer is staying the course, putting her energy into her two kids and her upcoming tour.

Carey took to Instagram on Saturday night, posting two pictures that showed the diva in full rehearsal for her upcoming “The Elusive Chanteuse Tour.” The tour is set to begin in Tokyo, Japan on October 4. Carey will also hit several other cities in Asia. However, no additional dates have been announced just yet.

The tour is a big one for the super star, who has been busy raising her three-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan Scott. Carey has not had a major world tour since 2006’s “The Adventures of Mimi.”

“I want to experience the spontaneity and emotion that I put into this album on stage with my fans,” Carey said in a statement. “I can’t stop writing songs so don’t be surprised if you hear a brand new song that I just wrote the night before the show in your city!”

The tour will most likely feature several cuts from Carey’s latest release, Me. I Am Mariah … The Elusive Chanteuse. The album dropped on May 23. It debuted at No. 3 with 58,000 units sold. It was Carey’s fourteenth studio album.

Meanwhile, Cannon is staying busy as well. The America’s Got Talent host was in Toronto last weekend hosting a Pepsi Pop Up concert. Cannon took to Twitter last week in defense of his estranged wife and to lash out on the media.

Sources that are close with the couple revealed that Cannon and Carey have been living separately since June. There are also rumors that the singer has begun the divorce process.

  • Mariah Carey: Nick Cannon Has Something To (NOT) Say

For a man with nothing to say, America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon has said an AWFUL lot recently.

One would think his elusive chanteuse and soon to be ex-wife Mariah Carey hadn’t slapped a big fat gag order across his mouth.

Nick Cannon took to Twitter on Wednesday and hashed out his feelings in an epic Twitter rant.

All with the intended purpose of demonstrating his ability to shut up about shutting up.

Probably not the best way to go about it, Mr. Cannon.

Nor it is a convincing action to take as the gag order came about after statements attributed to Cannon made their way to the public.

Yahoo’s The Insider claimed they landed an “exclusive” regarding their marriage crisis back in August.

A man named Chris Spencer appeared on the program as a “source” and said that he was aware of exclusive details about the situation. Spencer claimed that the 33-year-old television personality informed him that he and the 44-year-old Carey were experiencing a “rough patch”. Cannon also allegedly told Spencer that the two were “living separately”.

While the source denied that infidelity was the cause, many in the media continue to float cheating rumors.

The report on The Insider report and gossip articles are no doubt what drove him to have a meltdown on Twitter.

However if people are struggling to believe Cannon, it’s likely because he has a lengthy history of over-sharing about private matters.

Cannon’s alleged statements to members of the press has, according to E! only served to royally piss-off Carey.

Some claim that Cannon’s talkativeness is one of the major reasons why Carey chose to leave him. The revelation back in March that he had slept with Kim Kardashian and other starlets was said to be the final straw.

If there are any positives to take away from the situation, it’s that both he and Carey seem to be united in wanting the best for their two young children.

It is nice that Cannon continues to sing the praises of the mother of his children to the press, but one can’t help but wonder if the glowing praise is all wanting to get back with Carey.

There could also be the fear of God put into the man by Carey’s legal team. Just a thought.

Anyway, here is the full rant courtesy of Cannon. Enjoy!

  • Mariah Carey: Did She Really Make Pie?

When Mariah Carey shared an image with her fans the night before Thanksgiving via Twitter, and alluded to the fact that she might soon be in her kitchen making pecan pie, fans no doubt raised their eyebrows–either in delight or grave concern. The photo shows her with hubby Nick Cannon and “dem babies,” as Cannon lovingly refers to his children, twins Monroe and Moroccan. The happy family is cuddled together in their kitchen with a big bowl of pecans.

Carey even said she and the family were preparing to make a pecan pie.

“It’s going down in this kitchen! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!” Nick Cannon posted, along with an Intsagram photo of a beautiful Thanksgiving centerpiece (did Mariah make that, too?) “Up late, getting ready for Thanksgiving @MariahCarey and Dem Babies!”

Think again if you believe the former American Idol judge was about to get her kitchen groove on. That didn’t happen and likely wasn’t even a remote consideration. That didn’t put a crimp in the family’s holiday happiness, however. And they seemed eager to let people know this, too. Of course the posting of all this family love comes on the heels of a rumor that the couple has been ‘living separate lives,” so it’s possible they were concerned about posting a wholesome family image.

On Thanksgiving afternoon, however, Cannon questioned the origin of the Thanksgiving holiday, and that got Twitter fans talking. His tweet was retweeted almost 300 times.

What kind of conversation might you have around your dining room table if presented with Nick Cannon’s tweet as conversation fodder?

Alas it appears (with appear being the key word here) like all is well with Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, even though the pecan pie they had for dessert on Thanksgiving was probably made by an in-house chef or caterer. What matters is that the family is together–and at least as far as Instagram and Twitter are concerned–they are.
