  • Selena Gomez Tries To Get Rid Of Stalker Mansion, Listed For $4.5 Million

Looks like Selena Gomez isn’t done making drastic changes in her life.

The young pop star has officially listed her 7, 786-square-foot Calabasas estate for almost $4.5 million last week.

The luxurious property, which sits on more than three acres of land in the affluent Los Angeles suburb, was purchased by Gomez in 2014 for $3.7. It features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a gym, pool, and spa among other amenities. Various photos of the mansion’s interior and exterior have been posted online, and it’s no surprise that Selena Gomez fell in love with it. However, unlike most LA-based celebrities, she chose a residence that is not located in a gated community.

This could be the reason why within the 1 ½ years that Selena Gomez has lived in this house, she has had several encounters with stalkers and home intruders. Just days after moving in to her new home, a strange man believed to be a stalker was found in her guesthouse. Selena Gomez sought the help of authorities and had the man arrested and sentenced to 45 days in jail. He was also slammed with a restraining order to stay away from Gomez.

Selena Gomez has had prior experience with obsessed fans; her former home in the Tarzana neighborhood was also targeted by stalkers. She has since sold the house to engaged couple Iggy Azalea and Nick Young for $3.4 million.

Apart from its opulent features and drama-infused history, interested buyers might also be in interested to know that Gomez’s former lover, Justin Bieber, used to live just five miles away.

The home’s listing reads, “Extremely rare & private compound in the illustrious Mureau Estates gated community of Calabasas. Sprawling over 3 acres, this exceptional custom home provides every amenity expected of a luxury estate.”

There has been no word yet on where Selena Gomez will choose to live next, but it might be safe to say that she will take better precautions with regard to the safety and security of her new home.

  • Tennis Star Fire: Four Die in Home Owned by James Blake

The tennis star fire that is making headlines around the country and especially in the state of Florida was likely arson and it claimed the lives of four tentatively identified people–two adults and two teenagers. Owned by tennis star James Blake, the mansion near Tampa went up in flames on Wednesday. Blake wasn’t there at the time of the blaze. He had been renting out the property for quite some time.

Hillsborough County, Florida voter registration shows the renters were Darrin and Kimberly Campbell, although that hasn’t been officially announced by local authorities. A former neighbor said the teenagers were named Colin and Megan. The Campbell family was unaccounted for on Wednesday following the fire.

It is reported that two of the victims suffered some sort of upper body trauma, indicating that the fire may have been set to cover up foul play. Another possible theory in investigator’s minds is a murder-suicide.

The fire department discovered fireworks inside the burning home when they responded to the fire around 5:45 A.M. It is undetermined thus far where in the mansion the fireworks were located or what kind of explosives they were.

George Connley was once a neighbor to the Campbell family.

“They were a very nice family, we know nothing of any problems,” he said, speaking to reporters. “The kids were outstanding children. This is very difficult to put our arms around.”

The ‘tennis star fire’ end of this tragedy refers simply to the ownership of the mansion. James Blake bought the home in 2005 for $1.5 million. The home was located in Avila–an exclusive enclave known for its lavish homes and tight security. Many well known athletes purchased homes in the neighborhood that features a country club and golf course.

James Blake was ranked fourth on the ATP world tour in 2006. He has since retired. He heads the James Blake Foundation which is dedicated to cancer research in memory of his father.

Carlos Fleming is Blake’s agent. He confirmed to the media that Blake was not in Florida at the time of the ‘tennis star fire.’ He made no further comments on the tragedy.

  • Gisele Bündchen And Tom Brady Offered $40M For Mansion From Dr. Dre

New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen listed their $50 million mansion up for sale. Less than 2 months after the listing, they have already found a buyer – entrepreneur, record producer, and rapper Dr. Dre.

According to news sources, Dr. Dre has already made an offer in the Brentwood, California mansion and is currently in negotiations to finalize the deal.

The couple is selling the mansion fully furnished, but Dr. Dre said that he does not want a furnished home as he has his own furniture and “stuff” to place in the mansion.

Brady and Bündchen have spent more than $40 million in a span of almost 5 years to remodel and design the home. The decision to put it up for sale came when the couple decided to move to Boston permanently.

TMZ reported that that Dr. Dre is in love with the mansion and immediately offered to purchase the house as soon as it went up for sale in March. The main house consists of six bedrooms, and nine bathrooms, while the eco-friendly home on the grounds has eight bedrooms. The mansion also consists of a waterfall, an infinity pool, and a home gym.

The $50 million home is just befitting for Dr. Dre, as he is worth an estimated $550 million according to Forbes.

Brady and Bündchen purchased in the property for $11 million in 2008, but building the home took years to finish. The home was fully built by 2013.

If the deal pushes through, Dr. Dre will be neighbors with other celebrities including Heidi Klum and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Mr. and Mrs. Brady’s plan for their new home in Boston has already been approved by the town. Their new home will sit on 5.2 acres of land in the Chestnut Hill area. It is said to feature five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a spa, a pool, and a motor court.

  • Tom Brady, Gisele Selling Mansion for $50 Million

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen have put their 14,000 square foot, eco-friendly mansion on the market for $50 million. The couple reportedly invested $20 million into the construction of the Bentwood, California home, which features six bedrooms, a library and a koi-filled moat. The house has been listed with the Westside Estate Agency.

Brady had told Architectural Digest that “Gisele and I have eight sisters between us, and there are lots of kids. We built this house as a sanctuary for our family – a place where we can enjoy being together.”

The house was designed by architect Richard Landry, in collaboration with interior designer Joan Behnke. Bundchen, a global ambassador for the United Nations Environment Program was intent on incorporating as many recycled materials as possible as the house was built.

Brady commented, “We knew Richard and Joan could take us where we wanted to go without imposing a signature look. They understood that we wanted a comfortable house, not a style statement.”

    Potential buyers took to Twitter:

  • Paris Hilton Dresses As Miley Cyrus

Paris Hilton Dresses As Miley Cyrus

    (image)

The Playboy Mansion kicked off its annual Halloween party on October 26th. All of the attendees donned their sexy costumes including Paris Hilton, the ever-returning party princess of the Playboy mansion. Hilton emerged in a cleaner, un-botched version of Miley Cyrus’ concert costume from the MTV Video Music Awards.

We can thank Kanye West-Kardashian for initially bringing cartoony-looking teddy bears into fashion, but Miley can be accredited with maintaining this loony trend, and Paris Hilton for keeping it off the endangered list.

The look of Hilton’s leotard-style costume was a sleeker version of the actual costume. The costume features a creepy, gray bear who is licking his teeth for whatever reason. We’ll say he’s hungry, Hungry for what? We have no idea, but we intend to stay as G-rated as possible.

The original was a lot furrier than the suit worn by Hilton. There are also other tiny detail changes and additions, such as the silver tooth in the corner of the bear’s mouth, and silver straps instead of the original nude straps seen in Cyrus’ costume.

And let’s be thankful that Paris decided to nix the dorky, white platform shoes that Cyrus wore in the performance. In Miley’s defense however, she was dancing (and quite freakily). Walking around in the Playboy Mansion and drinking cocktails requires a different kind of footwear. In place of sneakers, Hilton was seen sporting a matching pair of slingbacks, which elongated her legs achieving a sexier look.

Hilton stayed true to some of the look’s most basic elements, such as the metallic shimmer, the necklace, and red lips. Oh, and of course, the hair!

Paris Hilton wasn’t the only Miley at the ball. Playboy’s current first lady Crystal Harris also wore her own version of Miley’s nude VMA costume while her hubby Hugh Hefner dressed as Robin Thicke alongside her.

  • Kanye And Kim Drop Major Cash On Gold Toilets

When you have a child you want nothing more than to give them everything. That attitude might explain the flashiest addition to the Bel Air, CA mansion being built by Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

As if the home’s $11 million price tag wasn’t extravagant enough, it turns out that $750 thousand of that price will include 4 gold plated toilets. While golden toilets may seem excessive, you have to remember that they will perfectly match the Swarovski-encrusted fridge and beds valued at $174 thousand each. All things considered, golden toilets were the only reasonable choice.

In purchasing the golden thrones, West is again proving that he not only talks the talk when he name drops designer clothing company names in his songs, but that he also walks the walk. A source connected with the pair said that “They expect the interior to cost twice as much as the property. They’re spending more than a million on a security system alone.” Not only was living in historical posh Bel Air enough, the house that Yeezy built had to take the idea of a California mansion to a whole new level.

Spending so much on a home is no surprise for West, who has made his “passion for flashin’” and dislike of the media evident in his music. With a newborn child it is possible that he plans to remain behind closed doors as much as possible for the sake of family privacy. However, it is possible that the house is just another trophy, a bragging point for his next album.

It is unclear if the palace will have a catchy name, but I don’t think that “Yeezus Manor” is completely off of the table.

  • Versace Mansion On the Auction Block

In 1997, Italian fashion designer and mogul Gianni Versace was flying high. He had just shot some scenes for the Spice Girls movie, Spiceworld. His business was booming. And on July 15, at the age of 50, he went out to get his morning paper at a nearby coffee shop. Little did Gianni Versace know that the scenes he had shot for that movie would not be shown. Little did he know that he would never make it back in to his own home.

Gianni Versace was shot dead by spree killer Andrew Cunanan on the steps of his Miami Beach mansion. No on knows why, if there is even a reason why. Cunanan murdered at least five people over a three-month period. Just a few days after he shot Versace, he turned his gun on himself.

Now that Miami Beach mansion, once called Casa Casuarina, is up for auction, according to the Daily Mail. Originally built in 1930, the mansion has ten bedrooms, a 54-foot long mosaic pool lined with 24-karat gold, many frescos, statues, arched doorways and an open air courtyard.

The home has been up for sale for over a year, but it has not moved. The asking price was cut over the course of the year from $125 million to $75 million. And now it will be auctioned off.

Versace left considerable wealth to his neices and nephews in his will, but had no children of his own. He had also willed $26,000 a month to his domestic partner, as well as the right to live in any of Versace’s houses that he wanted, in Italy or the United States. But, as will happen when a rich person dies, family interference cut his partner out of much of what he had been left.

This particular mansion is now called Villa by Barton G, and has had some refurbish work done. But a lot of what can be seen inside is still very ostentatious and in Versace’s taste.

  • Bruce Willis Wants To Sell His $22 Million Mansion

Do you want the mansion belonging to Bruce Willis? That will be $22 million.

TMZ reports that Willis has put up his Beverly Hills mansion on sale for $22 million. He paid $9 million for the mansion back in 2004.

So, what will you get for $22 million? It’s a 10,379 sq. ft. home with 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. It’s surely large enough for anything you could possibly have planned in the Beverly Hills area.

If you want another piece of Willis’ housing, you can grab his home away from home in Trump Tower for a cool $11.65 million.

Earlier this year, Willis picked up a place in New York for $8.85 million. He’ll probably get a new place on the West Coast if he’s successful in selling his current home. Even if he doesn’t sell it anytime soon, he probably got a pretty decent amount for a down payment after starring in this year’s G.I. Joe film. He could always toss together another Die Hard film as well if he’s really desperate for a bigger home.

  • Hasselhoff Buys $2 Million Home in Calabasas, Joins the Gumball 3000 Rally

David Hasselhoff has a brand new home, and it’s not located in Germany.

According to a TMZ report, Hasselhoff has just bought a new mansion in Calabasas, California. The house is reported to have 5,767 feet of floor space, five bedrooms, and six bathrooms. It also has a basketball court and swimming pool. The price of the mansion was reportedly $1.95 million.

The new house is smaller than Hasselhoff’s last home, and less expensive. The actor reportedly sold his larger house in Encino late last year for around $3.8 million.

Hasselhoff is best-known for his acting roles in the TV shows Knight Rider and Baywatch. In Europe, he is also well-known for his music albums and for staging a concert on top of the Berlin Wall on New Year’s Eve 1989. The star recently urged his fans to sign a petition to save a section of the Berlin Wall that is one of the last pieces of the wall to remain standing.

Hasslehoff is currently participating in the Gumball 3000 rally in Europe, where he is drawing crowds of tens of thousands of people:

  • Did Ellen DeGeneres Buy A $26.5M Home?

Ellen DeGeneres is apparently riding high on the news that her day time talk show was renewed as she may have just bought a $26.5m mansion.

TMZ reports that DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi, dropped $26.5 million dollars on a new home in Santa Barbara. As for the details, the house features over 10 square feet, has nine fireplaces, six bedrooms, six bathrooms and is spread across 13 acres. In short – this is the kind of house that you can only wish you had.

Of course, this is just the latest in a number of properties DeGeneres owns in the area. It’s reported that she owns homes in Beverly Hills and Hidden Valley.

In other Ellen news, the comedian will be reprising the role of fan favorite Dory in the Finding Nemo sequel – Finding Dory. We can only speculate that the advance from Disney for the 2015 film helped to pay for at least part of the new home.

  • Elin Nordegren Name-Drops In Miami

    Elin Nordegren Name-Drops In Miami

Elin Nordegren, the former wife of sex-addict and pro-golfer Tiger Woods, is said to have been name-dropping in Miami over the weekend when no one noticed her at the clubs she was partying in.

Woods was hanging out with friends for dinner and was almost turned away from Hyde when no one recognized her. She eventually got in on her name, but didn’t stay long as the club was closing up.

“Someone in the entourage said, ‘This is Elin, Tiger Woods’ wife,’ so only after they dropped the name, they let her in,” a source said.

Nordegren is also making headlines because of the massive mansion she’s having built on Tiger’s dime. After a $100 million divorce settlement, the native Swede bought some prime North Palm Beach property and had it torn down to make way for her own vision, which includes a pool, spa, and koi ponds. She’s also made it very clear that it’s her property by placing a Swedish flag right on top of the structure.

  • Kim Dotcom’s Mansion Raided By Special Tactics Force, Details

A helicopter hovered above the ground, a squadron of highly trained men erupted from the chopper. Armed to the teeth, the men raided the fortress of MegaUpload founder Kim Dotcom searching for the file sharing kingpin

Officials raided the mansion, invading room after room searching for firearms and bombs and other threats that may pose themselves. According to popular site TorrentFreak, police moved upstairs to find the notorious site owner, destroying a dumb waiter in the process, thinking he was hiding inside.

Dotcom’s bodyguard later revealed that Kim had been hiding in the mansion panic room referred to as the “red room”. When asked if the invasion was overkill, Dotcom’s bodyguard explained to 3 news that if only a few police officers had shown up rather than a whole task force:

“He would have complied with everything, we would have sat at the large table, he would’ve probably offered them breakfast and he would have complied with everything”.

These accusations that Dotcom and his staff are facing, although serious, are a bit dwarfed by the overkill actions by authorities. The aforementioned squadron is an elite terrorist task force and Dotcom has never been charged or accused of terrorism. Some media and other news platforms are a little puzzled as to why the authorities used such tactics, but nevertheless, the crimes faced by Dotcom are indeed serious and if found guilty or not, justice will be served.
