  • Jennette McCurdy to Star in ‘Between’ on Netflix, Feuds (?) With Ariana Grande

Jennette McCurdy to Star in ‘Between’ on Netflix, Feuds (?) With Ariana Grande

Jennette McCurdy will soon star in a new drama on Netflix called Between. Fans can’t binge-watch the series, however, as there is a bit of a catch. The survivalist thriller will also be aired on Canada’s City network, as they have the first-window rights to the drama. This means City will air each episode first, and then it will be released to Netflix for airing.

Between is about a town beset by a plague that kills everyone over the age of 21. Jennette McCurdy plays Wiley Day, a pregnant woman who survived the plague and has plans to give her baby up for adoption and leave Pretty Lake–the town in which the drama takes place.

Jennette McCurdy is best known for her role as Sam Puckett on the hit Nickelodeon series Sam & Cat. In addition, she has had roles on Victorious, Zoey 101, True Jackson VP, Malcolm in the Middle, and Lincoln Heights. She also writes, produces, and stars in her own online show called What’s Next for Sarah?

In other Jennette McCurdy news, she has made headlines recently for her supposed feud with Ariana Grande, with whom she starred on Sam & Cat. She insists that things got blown way out of proportion.

“I just feel that, you know Ariana and I were and are extremely close and very like-minded in a lot of different ways and then, sorta as the show dissolved, everybody wanted to find some sort of hidden meaning in our relationship,” McCurdy said recently during an interview with E! News. “Some [people] like drama and I think we butted heads at times but in a very sisterly way. She knows me so well and I know her so well that I think it was unfortunate that things kind of got misconstrued.”

Jennette McCurdy is likely very excited about the upcoming premiere of Between–on May 21st. Maybe Ariana Grande will show the world that she and Jennette McCurdy aren’t at odds by attending a celebration of the show’s premiere.

  • Frankie Muniz Suffers Another Mini-Stroke

    Frankie Muniz Suffers Another Mini-Stroke

Everyone’s favorite child star’s health problems are continuing. Frankie Muniz, who is only 27-years-old, recently suffered his second mini-stroke. It is a terrible thing to see when young stars, and young people in general are forced to endure such traumatic health problems.

Frankie Muniz, as most people remember played the titular character in the popular sitcom Malcolm In The Middle. The young star has suffered a min-stroke for the second time, and unfortunately as it often happens for child stars, Muniz has already been out of the spotlight for a number of years now.

The first time that Frankie Muniz had such a traumatic episode was almost a year ago in December of 2012, and he was sent to the hospital on both occasions.

Since his time as a child actor when he also appeared in several films including Agent Cody Banks, Big Fat Liar, and more, he has moved on to music. He is currently the drummer for the band Kingsfoil, and lives in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona.

Frankie Muniz turns 28 on December 5th, and takes this second mini-stroke as a sign for him to slow down, saying that he does not take enough time for himself. Often these types of events can be good for people, in order to get them to slow down, and not take the time that they have for granted.

Speaking on the situation, he said “My biggest problem is I always want to be working, going non-stop. So it’s a wakeup call to take a little time and relax a bit.”

After the first mini-stroke, he half joked, when saying that he was getting old, and needed to take care of his body. It has been a scary situation for the young Muniz, and he is hoping that this will be the last one. He could not speak normal words, and his fiancee looked at him at the time as if he were speaking a foreign language.

Frankie Muniz blames the event on his hard work ethic, and unwillingness to slow down, and he even prides himself on the fact that he lives a healthy lifestyle without using any drugs or alcohol.

  • Breaking Bad Alternate Ending: Was It All A Dream? [Video]

Well, Breaking Bad ended its five-year run about a month ago, but that certainly has not stopped its fans from talking about the historic ending to the show, and how things could have gone differently. For those fans that have been wanting more, a DVD set of the hit show is being released, and a hilarious alternate ending to the show has already been released.

The video of the Breaking Bad alternate ending was leaked to the internet over the weekend, but was later taken down by Sony, in an effort to get people to actually buy the DVD. Ironically, the alternate ending that we are presented with is something that fans of the show have been joking abotu for a long time.

The alternate ending that is present on the DVD box is a theory that we have all come to wonder about, and discuss involving Bryan Cranston’s infamous character of Walter White. The ending shows him becoming his character of Hal on Malcolm In The Middle, a sitcom which aired on FOX from 2002 until 2006, and pretends as if the past five seasons of Breaking Bad have all simply been a dream for Hal.

The video has been removed from Youtube due to copyright infringement, but can still be seen here.

The way the ending was done was also a homage to The Bob Newhart Show, showing him wake up in bed as Hal, after being freaked out about the dream in which he was a meth dealer. He then tells his wife Lois, played by Jane Kaczmarek, the whole story featuring hilarious descriptions of Hank, Jesse and his marriage to a tall, blonde woman.

Well, not quite…but this would have been interesting too.

It was special for fans of Malcolm In The Middle to see him reprise his role, but unfortunately for some, the creator of Breaking Bad, Vince Gillian said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the alternate ending was a complete joke, and that the show Breaking Bad‘s plot definitely did happen.

For those wanting to relive all of their favorite moments of the final season, and see the extras included in the DVD box set, including the hilarious Breaking Bad alternate ending, it will be available on November 26.

  • Alternative Breaking Bad Ending Is Hilarious

    Scroll down for the video.

Yes, Breaking Bad is over – it ended backed in September, but even then we’re still getting remnants of the beloved series despite its conclusion.

A lot of people became more familiar with Bryan Cranston as an actor when Malcolm in the Middle first broadcasted back on January 9, 2000 on FOX. He played Hal, the main character’s father; a quirky, inept, caring, and wacky dad who was always on his wife’s side. The show aired for six years, and after 151 episodes, the world didn’t see much of Cranston in the spotlight, albeit starring in some movie roles like Little Miss Sunshine. It wasn’t until 2008 that we saw Cranston emerge as Walter White in the groundbreaking AMC series Breaking Bad. Despite this, many were curious of whom this talented actor was, and were surprised to hear that it was “Malcolm’s Dad”; Hal never really left Cranston. With that in mind, the internet came up with a funny synopsis about the ending to Breaking Bad, and how it was all just one big dream that Hal in Malcolm in the Middle. Thought it came merely as a funny idea that sparked online, a lot of fans of both shows typed up online the visual of what the hilarious scene would look like. In fact, there’s a whole Tumblr site dedicated to immersing the plot lines of Breaking Bad and Malcolm in the Middle into one single story, and it’s surprisingly, at times, somewhat convincing.

Yesterday, a YouTube user by the name of Michael Davies uploaded “Breaking Bad Season 5 – Alternate Ending”, which shows Cranston reprising his role as Hal, and Jane Kaczmarek as his wife, Lois. Like the potential idea for the hilarious alternative ending, Hal wakes up after dreaming the entire series of Breaking Bad, shocked to find that he was a drug dealer. The video makes more sense for those familiar with the show, as Hal goes on to describe the many faces he ran into in his extended long dream. Hal even tries to reenact some of Walter White’s mannerisms that don’t quite translate as well in the Malcolm in the Middle universe.

    Hilarity ensues.
