  • Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, and Deepika Padukone in Talks to Join Vin Diesel in Action Spy Film

Nina Dobrev, former star of The Vampire Diaries, Ruby Rose of Orange is the New Black, and Bollywood star Deepika Padukone are all in talks to join Vin Diesel in XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, which is set to begin filming later this month.

The original film, which also starred Vin Diesel, was perceived as an anti-James Bond film. It followed Xander Cage, an extreme athlete forced to become a government agent. A second film followed, but didn’t star Diesel.

Nina Dobrev–if in fact she signs on to the film–will play the role of a “witty and sarcastic techie,” according to the Hollywood Reporter. Ruby Rose will play a sniper. Deepika Padukone will play Cage’s former love interest as well as a huntress.

Following six seasons of The Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev starred in a horror comedy called The Final Girls. She recently wrapped filming of Crash Pad alongside Christina Applegate and Domhnall Gleeson, and is set to star in an indie comedy called Arrivals, opposite Maisie Williams and Asa Butterfield.

Ruby Rose will appear in the upcoming Resident Evil 6, and recently wrapped filming the sequel to Keanu Reeves’ film John Wick.

What’s your take on the upcoming XXX: The Return of Xander Cage? With Vin Diesel, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, and Deepika Padukone, it will certainly feature a star-studded cast.

  • Maisie Williams Skydives for Dolphin Charity

Maisie Williams is passionate about protecting dolphins, and she recently took to the sky to raise money and awareness.

The Game of Thrones star jumped out of a “perfectly good airplane” for dolphins on Saturday.

“I will be jumping out of a perfectly good, working airplane at 15,000ft to raise awareness and funds for @Dolphin_Project. You can skydive on the same day as me if you’re interested. Seriously debating whether I should just quit this acting thing and become a skydiver…” she wrote on the Crowdrise page Maisie Jump 4 Dolphins.

From Skydive99, which coordinated the jump:

Maisie Williams from popular TV series “Doctor Who” and “Game of Thrones” skydived for her favourite charities today. Skydive took place at Skydive.Buzz in Devon and she opted for the maximum height possible without oxygen 15000 feet. She was raising money for Mencap and the Dolphin Project. She was joined on her skydive by another celebrity American actor and founder of the Dolphin Project Richard O’Barry.

Maisie took off in the world’s fastest skydiving plane Beech99 and in 10 minutes was at 15,000 feet. She loved all parts of the skydive, freefall, canopy ride and the fact that she was joined by a wingsuiter (Mike Williams).

When asked, what was her favourite part of the skydive, Maisie said she liked all of it.

“I just loved spiralling fast through parts of the cloud and when you come out – its so beautiful. I love the whole thing.” When asked by a freefall camera man if she could become a full time skydiver, Maisie said: “I would love to!”

  • Maisie Williams of ‘Game of Thrones’ Says First Onscreen Sex Scene Was ‘Extremely Awkward’

Maisie Williams of Game of Thrones fame says filming her first-ever sex scene for the film, The Falling, was a little bit “awkward.

“It was extremely awkward!” Williams, 18, told Vulture magazine.

OK, it was more than awkward.

Maisie Williams plays Lydia in the indie film about students who attend an English all-girls school in the 1960s. Her sex scene was with costar Joe Cole who Maisie said “was very sensitive to the fact that I had never done a scene like this before, and it was great to work with someone who was so considerate of that.”

To prepare for the scene, Williams said she and Cole just hung out together on and off the set.

“We went out for a couple of lunches and stuff just to get to know each other, and we had days of rehearsal where we’d get to know our characters and spend a couple of hours with each other,” said Maisie.

While Maisie Williams was able to hang out with Cole, she was told to keep her distance from Maxine Peake, who plays her estranged mother in the film.

“Carol [Morley], our director, told Maxine not to communicate with me and to keep her distance, so she wouldn’t create a relationship with me — because within the story, our characters don’t have a relationship. But Carol hadn’t told me she was going to do this! So here I am, trying to make contact with Maxine every single day, trying to make it work, and her never giving anything back,” said Williams. “Throughout the shoot I was so miserable because I thought she hated me. I thought all the adults hated me, and I had no idea why. I was just trying to prove myself and be a good actress.”

The Falling starring Maisie Williams is in theaters now.

  • Maisie Williams On Her First Onscreen Sex Scene: ‘Awkward’

The Game of Thrones star, Maisie Williams, describes her first onscreen sex scene as “awkward.”

The 18-year-old star is trying to do a more mature role with her newest indie film The Falling. But despite being part of the hit series Game of Thrones, the actress felt rather self-conscious, she told Vulture.

The Falling is about Lydia, an English all-girls school student. The story tackles sexual awakening among young women in a very repressive surrounding set in the 1960s.

She revealed in an interview that her co-star, Joe Cole, helped her a lot to make her feel comfortable during their intimate scene.

The actress said, “Joe was very sensitive to the fact that I had never done a scene like this before, and it was great to work with someone who was so considerate of that.”

To make sure that the scene would go smoothly, Williams and Cole spent time together to get to know each other. The actress revealed they went out for lunches and rehearsed together so as to learn more about their characters.

When asked about her co-stars, Williams told Vulture she thought Maxine Peake hated her. She was relieved when she was told that Peake, who plays Lydia’s estranged mother, was instructed by the director to not get close to her.

The technique seemed to work on the actress because she admitted she was affected by Peake’s cold treatment. Williams confessed, “it felt like everyone was ignoring me and being really mean. It made me feel really sad and secluded and alone.”

Williams said she was happy to be able to form a good relationship with the other girls in the film. She said she had a great time bonding and learning with them during the filming.

The Falling is now showing in select theaters.

  • Maisie Williams Knocks First Sex Scene Out Of The Park, Even With “Awkward” Interruption

Maisie Williams has starred on one of the most sexually-charged shows HBO offers for several years now, but being one of the youngest cast members on Game Of Thrones has kept her out of those scenes. Recently, however, she shot her first intimate scene for a film, and said that although it was awkward in every way, she nailed it in one take.

Williams told Us Weekly that the scene–for her upcoming film The Falling–ended up being like any other in that she had to focus on what she was doing in order to get everything right, otherwise the director would have had to redo the entire thing.

“It was extremely awkward! I was only just 16, so it was quite a big deal. And I guess you just work through it like any other scene and you rehearse, and then you shoot it! It was literally just the same as any other scene, apart from me doing different activities…. It was really important that we got it all in one shot. The way in which they shot it, they wanted it to be just a flow and not to break it up. They wanted it to go from start to finish with the mother coming in, as well. So we had to get it all timed out perfectly. But it happened. I’ve done it! First one down!” Maisie said.

    (Caution: spoilers ahead.)

Williams may be moving on to feature films, but that doesn’t mean she’s forgotten about GOT; when asked during a recent AMA session how she felt about the show’s finale, Maisie’s answer was a lot like any fan’s would be.

“I DNT CARE ABUT UR SILLY FEKIN NIGHTS WATCH OMG STAHP STABBIN JON SNOOOO,” Maisie Williams wrote.

  • Maisie Williams Behaves Like A Fan After Viewing ‘Game Of Thrones’ Finale

Maisie Williams Behaves Like A Fan After Viewing ‘Game Of Thrones’ Finale

The Game Of Thrones British actress Maisie Williams had a major freak out moment after knowing how the show’s episode would end.

Williams’ character, Arya Stark, was blinded in the June 14 episode of GOT. Stark has a tough fate on the show. Apart from being brutally blinded, she also lost most of her family members. And what’s even worse is that her fave half-brother, Jon Snow, just ended up dead too.

The actress had a Q&A on Twitter on Monday night labeled #AskGOT. Williams shared hilarious reactions upon what happened in the Season 5 finale of GOT.

One fan from twitter asked her about her views on the episode, “@Maisie_Williams @GameOfThrones #AskGoT what was your reaction to the finale?”

“I DNT CARE ABUT UR SILLY FEKIN NIGHTS WATCH OMG STAHP STABBIN JON SNOOOO,” the actress promptly replied sounding like a typical fan girl.

Snow’s death was not the only thing that Williams discussed during the 35-minute Q&A. Fans shot more questions in line with the show.

She was asked by another fan, “How long did it take for you to learn the fight choreography for Arya’s vengeance scene?”

Williams wrote back saying, “Probably in total about 6 hours work. I was unprepared, Ian was totally amazing.”

Snow was bloodily killed at the end of the episode. Allistair stabbed Snow which left him severely weakned. Afterwards, most of the men of Night’s Watching started stabbing Snow as well leaving him completely dead.

The death was confirmed by Kit Harington, the actor who plays Snow, as well as the episode’s director. However, speculations have been spreading that Snow could be back anytime soon. George R.R. Martin, the author of the book GOT, has revealed in the past that Jon Snow’s fortune is inconclusive.

“Oh, you think he’s dead, do you?” he told Entertainment Weekly in 2011. “My readers should know better than to take anything as gospel.”

  • Jessica Biel Film Headed to Cannes Film Festival

Jessica Biel stars in a new film that is headed to the Cannes Film Festival next month. The Devil in the Deep Blue Sea is presently in post-production, and was recently acquired by Content Media.

In addition to starring in the film, Jessica Biel also serves as producer. She produced The Devil in the Deep Blue Sea under her Iron Ocean Films banner, along with partner Michelle Purple and Mike Landry, as well as Carlos Velazquez of C Plus Pictures and Chuck Pacheco of Nine Nights.

The film is said to explore themes of love and friendship, grief and laughter and in addition to Jessica Biel, also stars Jason Sudeikis, Maisie Williams, Orlando Jones, Paul Reiser, and Mary Steenburgen.

It’s uncertain as of yet if Jessica Biel will travel to Cannes next month when the film premieres. She and hubby Justin Timberlake only recently welcomed son Silas Randall Timberlake into their world.

According to a report from Variety, Justin Timberlake is scoring The Devil in the Deep Blue Sea, making Jessica Biel’s new film a real family affair.

Do you suppose that family affair will extend to travel, and find Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, and baby Silas in France next month for the Cannes Film Festival?

  • Jessica Biel: No Bikini Exposing Baby Bump During This Beach Outing

Jessica Biel was spotted out and about during a recent beach outing in Marina Del Rey, California, but instead of flaunting her baby bump by wearing a bikini, she kept things under wraps instead. It was clear that Justin Timberlake’s wife was enjoying some down time, however, as she donned a thin t-shirt that was a bit tattered and torn, along with some comfy pants.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are due to become parents some time this spring. It was back in January when the singer announced his impending fatherhood, after many weeks of speculation.

“Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes!,” he captioned on Instagram. “This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT. #BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets”

That baby bump has grown even larger, and Jessica Biel apparently didn’t want to share it with the paparazzi in a bikini during her trip to the beach. Hopefully she is enjoying her getaway, as life will certainly change when the baby arrives.

Jessica Biel has worked throughout her pregnancy, filming The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea alongside Mary Steenburgen, Orlando Jones, Jason Sudeikis, and Maisie Williams. Filming took place in New Orleans, which isn’t conducive to pregnancy. Hopefully it all wrapped up before the temperatures climbed too high.

Fans won’t get to see Jessica Biel in The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea until some time in 2016, so for now they’ll have to be content with glimpses of her during her beach getaway.

A source says Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are over-the-moon excited about their baby’s impending arrival.

“They are both so excited for this new chapter and ready to be parents,” the source said. “They are such a great team and will both be very hands on and involved with everything.”

Do you think Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake will take an official babymoon before their little one joins them?

  • Maisie Williams Talks Arya and Game of Thrones Fame

Maisie Williams may not be a household name but, for many, her character surely is.

16-year old Williams has played Arya Stark in the HBO television series Game of Thrones since it premiered in 2011. It was her first role and since then she has received critical acclaim for her performance. In 2012, she won Best Supporting Actress at the Portal Awards, making her the youngest ever to win in that category.

Despite being on one of the hottest shows on television, Williams isn’t exactly comfortable with all the fame she is receiving, especially recently at the premiere of season four at the Lincoln Center.

“It was crazy. And really embarrassing!” she said. “I just lit up so much, I buried my head.”

However, Williams does not regret getting the role of the youngest Stark girl.

“I’m just so grateful that I got the opportunity to work with these people because I came in to this not having a clue what I was doing” she told DNA in an interview. “It’s been so nice to have such fantastic influences on set there with me and to be sat opposite these fantastic actors and just to feed off of them.”

One actor that she is working closely with in the new season is Sandor “The Hound” Clegane, played by Scottish actor Rory McCann. Williams spoke about their on-screen partnership as one that is perhaps not the healthiest of relationships.

“I feel like [Arya’s] being heavily influenced by the Hound and his intense brutality. He just tends to get the job done rather than worry about emotions and what is right and wrong. He’s probably not the best influence when you’re 12 years old,” she said.

But Williams’ favorite actor on the set? None other than Tywin Lannister.

“When [Charles Dance] is on set everyone is just silent for him, but he deserves everything – he’s just the most fascinating person to watch and I’m just so privileged to have worked so closely with him. The way that he incorporates props into the scene or how he moves around the space … and how natural he was in saying this dialogue that is not natural for someone of my age, you know, it’s not a natural way of saying things – it was really helpful just listening to him.”

You can catch Arya – and the rest of the Game of Thrones crew – on Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. EST on HBO.

  • Maisie Williams’ Mom Talks About Controversial Decision

Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark on the HBO hit show “Game Of Thrones”, knew a good opportunity when she saw it, and so did her mom. That’s why she was allowed to drop school at 14 to devote most of her time to the show, but the decision was a controversial one. Now, her mother is explaining why she let her daughter pursue her dreams rather than stay in school full time.

Williams was doing well in school–on track to make A’s and B’s–but is now being tutored instead of attending classes. For her mom, Hilary, the opportunity to travel the world was too good to pass up.

“Maisie was given a lot of opportunities that we didn’t feel we could turn down to concentrate on education,” she said. “I know a lot of people wouldn’t agree with that, but that’s what we decided to do. At the time, Maisie was filming, there were appearances and other things. She didn’t have the time to sit her exams. It wasn’t a snap decision. It came after a series of events that made us think: Are we really going to say, “No, Maisie, you need to be in school doing your exams” when somebody is offering the chance to travel the world and act in all these wonderful things?”

Hilary went on to explain that Maisie has plenty of time to finish schooling, but for now, she’s doing really well.

“Am I apprehensive about it? Not at all. We feel fine about the decision and Maisie has lots of other opportunities coming up. When I see her on the red carpet, she handles it really well and that’s a good set of skills to have in life. If she needs to go back and do GCSEs she can, and will also have the money to get tutors to help her to do it…I’m not saying you don’t need an education. My eldest son went to university and got his degree, and that worked for him. But you have to look at each case individually. You can always go back and get your education and these opportunities aren’t going to be there forever.”

Williams recently spoke about the direction her character will be going in this year, saying that with the loss of so many family members, Arya has changed, perhaps irrevocably.

“Arya is in a much darker place and I think we see a little glimpse of that in [Season 3,] Episode 10, but moving into the premiere of the new season, I feel like Arya… she doesn’t have a direction anymore,” she said. “She’s given up on trying to look for family. She’s given up on trying to control her future. I feel like this year [she] feels nothing.”

  • Maisie Williams Talks “Game Of Thrones” Sex Scenes

Maisie Williams Talks “Game Of Thrones” Sex Scenes

Maisie Williams, the 16-year old actress who plays Arya Stark on “Game Of Thrones”, spoke recently about the sometimes blush-inducing sex scenes on the hit HBO fantasy show, and said that when she was younger, reading the scripts was often an experience she could have done without.

“Me and Sophie [Turner], when we were little, we went to the read-throughs of the scripts and we were just, like, cringing,” Williams told The Post. “Other people love it, but it’s not my thing.”

Williams also spoke briefly about the upcoming season of the show, which die-hard fans are eagerly anticipating. While the first three seasons were all about leading up to a huge finale–the “Red Wedding”, for instance–Williams says this season will be a little different.

“This year, we’ve got different pinpoints throughout the series rather than just building up to a massive ending,” she said.

Speaking of the “Red Wedding” episode, Williams made headlines with her Vine right after it aired, giving a hilarious reaction to the ending that sent millions to their computers to vent.

HBO recently released a 15-minute teaser for the upcoming season, which includes interviews with the director and actors as they give their thoughts on the infamous episode and about what will happen in the coming months.
