  • Macaulay Culkin Sports Long Locks in Selfie With Bob Saget, Seth Green

Macaulay Culkin let his hair hang down in a selfie taken with Fuller House star Bob Saget and comedian Seth Green, following an evening in New York City.

The Home Alone star, who is 35, sported long blonde locks–below shoulder-length–as the gang posed amidst a backdrop of neon signs in Times Square.

Bob Saget captioned the shot, “Fun times last night after show in the #TimesSquare with friends @ClareGrant, Macaulay Culkin, and the master of the selfie, my pal @SethGreen.”

A photo posted by Bob (@bobsaget) on

Of far more interest to those viewing the photo than Macaulay Culkin’s long hair, is the notion that he and Bob Saget are friends. E! News reports the likely link is Seth Green. Macaulay Culkin appeared in Robot Chicken, which Green produced.

Rumors have run rampant about Macaulay Culkin since he all but disappeared from the limelight following his Home Alone successes. Tales of his death, drug abuse and health problems pepper social media from time to time, but none have been confirmed.

It’s hard to believe–don’t you think–that the man sporting the long blonde hair in this photo with Bob Saget and Seth Green is Macaulay Culkin–the same person who played the adorable Kevin McCallister in the still-popular Christmas movies.

  • Macaulay Culkin Takes Death Hoax To The Stage

Macaulay Culkin is the latest celebrity to fall victim to a death hoax, but unlike any of the others, he found humor in the situation and decided not to ignore it.

Culkin, who performs in a band called Pizza Underground, posted photos of himself in a Weekend At Bernie’s type situation with a friend and later took the bit to the stage, shouting, “I’m alive!” at the beginning of the set. The movie, of course, tells the story of two friends who are forced to pretend their boss is still alive as the mob chases them.

The hoax reportedly started on Facebook, where news quickly spread that the actor and musician had passed away. Perhaps adding fuel to the fire is the fact that Culkin was accused of having a heroin addiction in 2012 after he appeared in public looking very thin and unwell. His publicist denied any drug problems, saying the story “is not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious. We beseech the responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive and insulting story by pursuing it any further.” Culkin was also reported dead back in April.

Last month, Judd Nelson was a victim of a death hoax and sent a photo of himself to the L.A. Times holding a copy of their paper as proof he was still kicking. Nelson and Culkin are both in good company; Cher, Paul McCartney, Celine Dion, and Morgan Freeman have all been reported dead falsely.

  • Is Miley Cyrus Dead? No, But Death Hoax May Lead Viewers to Malicious Fake Facebook Message

Miley Cyrus is allegedly dead. That is, a fake Facebook message makes one think the pop star died “some 48 minutes ago.”

Softpedia reports that earlier this week, a Facebook message was making its rounds on the internet with a link to a video that provided details of Cyrus’ supposed death from an overdose..

The thumbnail apparently looks real enough, but when the duped person clicks on the image, they are taken to a malicious version of the Facebook website, according to Online Threat Alerts. Once there, viewers are asked to complete surveys and/or share the link with their online friends.

This will just spread the hoax further as their Facebook friends may then receive their own fake message, which is the ultimate goal of these survey companies.

The image used may seem legit to Cryrus-fan neophytes because it actually comes from the controversial music video, Blonde SuperFreak Steals the Magic Brain, which features the 21-year-old singer and Flaming Lips in several scenes depicting an overdose.

Back in July, a similar death hoax made its rounds about Cyrus, with the headline “{SHOCKING) Miley Cyrus Found Dead in Her Los Angeles Home! Country singer Miley Cyrus found overdosed this afternoon in her Los Angeles home,” according to Hollywood Life.

There have been several other celebrity death hoaxes over the past months, including some that have suggested that Taylor Swift, Macaulay Culkin, Judd Nelson, Nancy Reagan and even, JLo have died.

Keep these hoaxes in mind when supposed news of a celebrity’s death hits social media. Check first with legitimate news sources before clicking on any social media links.

  • Macaulay Culkin Is Not Dead: Death Ruled A Hoax

Macaulay Culkin is not dead. In fact, he is very much alive and is on tour with his band The Pizza Underground.

According to Britain’s The Mirror, a fake report started circulating on Thursday, November 6, stating that the Home Alone star had passed away.

“At about 11 a.m. ET on Thursday (November 06, 2014), our beloved actor Macaulay Culkin passed away,” the initial report read. “Macaulay Culkin was born on August 26, 1980 in New York. He will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”

The Facebook page responsible for the hoax, titled “RIP Macaulay Culkin,” has since been removed. However, at one point it had hundreds of thousands of “likes.”

This is the second time this year that Culkin has fallen victim of a celebrity death hoax. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Macaulay was rumored to have died back in April, but his reps cleared up the rumors by explaining that the rumors were completely false.

To prove that he is alive and well, Culkin posted a photo to his band’s Twitter account of him holding a beverage. “We’re on tour you silly people / @anchovywarhol’s,” Culkin captioned the photo.

The Pizza Underground’s next stop on their tour is scheduled for Saturday, November 15 at the Belmont in Austin, Texas.

  • Macaulay Culkin Not Dead, Death Hoax

Macaulay Culkin isn’t dead. Rumors of the Home Alone star’s death circulated the internet starting on Thursday, but aside from being the victim of a death hoax, the 34-year-old former child actor is just fine.

The Hollywood Reporter says this is the second time in under a year that Culkin has been the victim of a death hoax. It was in April of 2014 that a similar rumor made its rounds, inciting both fear and sadness in the hearts of his fans. His rep confirmed to the publication that he is alive and well.

Word of Macaulay Culkin’s alleged passing quickly made its way through social media streams, with Twitter users assuming the rumor was true and posting numerous messages of condolence.

Since pretty much giving up acting, Macaulay Culkin has turned his sights to music instead. His band, Pizza Underground, didn’t get off to a great start. They were booed off the stage during a set at the Dot to Dot Festival in Nottingham, England just this past May. The band, which does comic renditions of the classic Velvet Underground’s tunes, is known for its shtick, but apparently that didn’t go over too well at the festival. They are scheduled to perform Saturday night, November 9th, at the Belmont in Austin Texas as part of the Fun Fun Fun Fest.

Fortunately for all, Macaulay Culkin is alive and completely able to carry out his musical responsibilities. Hopefully in light of surviving this latest death hoax, he survives on stage long enough to garner a few rounds of applause.

  • Macaulay Culkin’s Band Booed Off Stage

Macaulay Culkin is a pretty odd guy, but that’s part of what makes him interesting. He found success as a child and starred in many films during the 90’s including Home Alone, Home Alone 2 and Richie Rich. As he got older, he got less work and eventually disappeared from Hollywood.

When he reappeared as a young adult, he looked sickly and many people wondered if he had a drug problem. He has recently cleaned up his act and formed a band called Pizza Underground.

The band sings weird pizza-themed songs, such as Take A Bite of the Wild Slice and I’m Waiting for the Delivery Man.

Earlier this year the band released a video promoting themselves. The video was just as weird as the band’s song lyrics and showed Culkin eating a piece of pizza.

The band recently attempted to perform at the Dot to Dot festival but was booed offstage two different times and were unable to finish all of their songs. At one point Culkin was playing a kazoo and was hit by drinks and trash that were being thrown at the band by the crowd.

One crowd member described the band’s performance saying, “It was the weirdest thing I’ve ever watched. It was just bizarre.”

Culkin didn’t take kindly to the crowd’s reaction and stormed off the stage after being hit with a beer bomb. Before exiting he said, “Why are you throwing those? I’d rather drink them.”

While most crowd members agreed that the performance was bad, most were not happy with the way the band was treated and how disrespectful some people were being towards them. Some people actually liked the performance.

Have you heard any of Pizza Underground’s songs? What do you think of the band?

Macaulay Culkin Won The Internet With His Latest Shirt

Macaulay Culkin should grace more t-shirts. It would appear that Ryan Gosling agrees as he sported a t-shirt featuring the child star and current member of alt-folk band Pizza Underground. Now Culkin has fired back with his own genius take on Gosling’s shirt.

Earlier this week, the Pizza Underground Twitter account shared a picture of Culkin wearing a shirt depicting Gosling wearing a shirt depicting Culkin. It was possibly the most meta moment of the week and it did not go unnoticed on the Internet. The band was even in on the joke by prefacing the picture with “Let’s get Meta” followed by all the prerequisite hashtags.

Following the picture, the Internet fell in love. The original post on Reddit garnered over 3,500 upvotes and almost 2,000 comments. The Photoshop warriors also rose to the occasion and tried to make it as meta as possible.

Here’s the original post on Twitter:

Now here’s what Reddit user RoyalPrinceSoldier did with it:

In response, Reddit user Retarded_Artist made it even more meta:

Of course, the picture also appeared at Reddit’s Photoshop Battle sub-reddit and h8trswana8’s entry was declared the winner:

I think it’s safe to say the Internet still loves Macaulay Culkin even if Kevin McCallister doesn’t.

  • Macaulay Culkin: Not Dead And Still Making Music

According to a Facebook post spreading like wildfire, Home Alone and Richie Rich star Macaulay Culkin has died.

However, Culkin, 33, is just another victim of a celebrity death hoax. Other stars who have also been victims of a similar hoax include Eminem, Jon Heder, Britney Spears, and Kanye West, among others.

The news of the actor’s “death” was posted on a Facebook page that said Culkin passed away at 11 a.m. ET on Sunday. The post also asked for sympathy and condolences through likes and comments. The post garnered over a million likes.

Due to the attention the post acquired, Culkin’s representative cleared the issue and released a statement saying that Culkin is very much alive. The source of the fake news is still unknown.

News about the actor’s death may have been ignited when Culkin’s health was made public. Several sources said that the actor’s health is declining due to the abuse of various substances. Some sources have even said that Culkin spends about $6,000 monthly on painkillers. His reps, however, denied the allegations.

Culkin has also been rumored to be addicted to Vicodin, Percocet, oxycodone, and heroin. A source claims to have witnessed Culkin taking drugs and said that “he needs serious help.”

Reports indicate that Culkin has since recovered from his drug problems and has turned to music by forming a pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute band called “Pizza Underground.” Culkin is the vocalist of the band, and he also plays the kazoo and percussion.

Macaulay Culkin and The Pizza Underground

The band released a demo tape on December 2013 containing tracks such as “All the Pizza Parties,” and “I’m Waiting for the Delivery Man” – a play on Velvet Underground’s famous songs. The band has played gigs for a Lou Reed tribute show and at the Comic Arts Brooklyn as well. News of an album release have not yet been confirmed.

  • Macaulay Culkin’s The Pizza Underground Still Exists, Is Still Awesome

Macaulay Culkin will always remain in my heart as the goofy Kevin McAllister from the Home Alone films. He’s not quite so adorable these days, but he is still entertaining. In fact, his latest project might have been the most entertaining yet.

The Guardian reported last December that Culkin and a number of his friends had formed a The Velvet Underground tribute band going by the name of The Pizza Underground. As you can guess, the band performs The Velvet Underground songs, but replaces the lyrics with allusions to pizza. For instance, one of the songs on the album is Take a Bite of the Wild Slice – a reimagining of Walk on the Wild Side.

If you want to take a listen for yourself, the band has released a demo on bandcamp. The demo only lasts 8 minutes, but contains samples from the following songs:

    Papa John Says
I’m Beginning to Eat the Slice
    Pizza
    I’m Waiting for Delivery Man
    Cheese Days
    Pizza Day
    All the Pizza Parties
    Pizza Gal
Take a Bite of the Wild Slice

You can listen to it here or in the embed below. The band is also selling the demo, but is letting fans set their own price.

After taking a listen, were you able to identify Culkin among all the noise. If not, take another listen, but pay attention to the percussion and kazoo. That’s what Culkin has been credited with alongside the vocals.

The Pizza Underground may still be performing live shows at dives and bars, but they may never come near your town anytime soon. Don’t give up hope though. The Pizza Underground has a short film up on YouTube with footage from their first concert. It’s definitely worth checking out:

As an added bonus, here’s Culkin showing off his impressive piano skills:

You know what? Maybe Culkin is still adorable in his own unique way.

  • Macaulay Culkin Back In The Spot Light- For Eating Pizza?

Macaulay Culkin was a great child star who was best known for his character Kevin in the Home Alone films. As Culkin got older, he disappeared from the spotlight. Rumors about his health and well-being began to spread and in 2004 he was arrested for possession of marijuana and two controlled substances, Alprazolam and Clonazepam.

Culkin pleaded guilty to the charges and received three one-year suspended prison terms, and was ordered to pay $540 in fees. Rumors of his addiction continued and when Culkin was seen out in public or photographed by paparazzi, he appeared shaggy and at times unhealthy.

Culkin still manages to hide pretty well from the paparazzi but he was recently spotted in Paris looking healthy and clean. He also made an appearance at Comic-Con 2013 with a new style and confident attitude. He is currently dating Jordan Price who resembles his most recent ex, Mila Kunis and appears to be happier than ever. Culkin is also a member of the band Pizza Underground.

Pizza Underground has put Culkin back in the spotlight, whether he wants to be there or not. Although Pizza Underground is not necessarily a famous band, a recent video of Culkin eating a piece of pizza as a way of promoting his band has gotten over 700,000 views in just a short time.

In the video Culkin eats the pizza, says his name and says that he ate the pizza. It is very strange but apparently very popular. Whether Culkin and his band intended on the video to be such a success or were simply messing around is unknown, but the video’s popularity is likely to inspire similar videos from the band and YouTube copycats.

What do you think of the video and the band Pizza Underground?

  • Artsy Macaulay Culkin Conceptually Eats Pizza

Mysterious former child star Macaulay Culkin has posted a YouTube clip of himself eating a slice of pizza, which has garnered over 800 thousand views since December 16th. The elusive actor is apparently promoting his pizza-centric Velvet Underground tribute band “Macaulay Culkin and the Pizza Underground.”

To the untrained eye, Culkin appears to be plainly enjoying a slice of cheese pizza. Though, it’s clear that still waters run deep within the soul of the “Home Alone” actor, as the video seems to be an homage to pop artist Andy Warhol’s appearance in the “Andy Warhol Eating a Hamburger” segment of Danish filmmaker Jorgen Leth’s “66 Scenes From America” shot in 1981. Warhol was a frequent Velvet Underground collaborator.

At the end of the “Pizza Underground”-produced movie, Culkin exclaims, “My name is Macaulay Culkin, and I just finished pizza,” adding an air of intrigue to the already deeply self-possessed clip.

The similarities between Culkin’s and Warhol’s comfort food devouring segments are astounding:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ejr9KBQzQPM

So far, “Pizza Underground” has released wildly inventive singles including “Take a Bite of the Wild Slice” and “I’m Waiting for Delivery Man.”

Culkin is again well-known for his Golden Globe-nominated role in “Home Alone,” a 1990 Christmas family comedy film written and produced by John Hughes. Culkin portrays Kevin McCallister, an eight-year-old boy who is mistakenly left behind after his family leaves for Paris for their Christmas vacation. Below is the trailer:

“Home Alone” was a huge holiday hit, and grossed $285,761,243 in North America, staying at number one for 12 weeks. Culkin, with a reported net worth of roughly $15 million, has also starred in films including “My Girl,” “The Good Son” and “Richie Rich.”

One of Culkin’s few films as an adult is 2003’s “Party Monster,” which features tuneful genius Marilyn Manson:

Culkin is presently dating “All My Children” actress Jordan Lane Price, and has been previously linked to “Black Swan” star Mila Kunis.

  • Macaulay Culkin Has A Video Of Himself Eating Pizza

You’ve all surely heard by now about Macaulay Culkin’s Velvet Underground tribute band, “Pizza Underground.” Strange, huh? To make things even weirder, there’s now a four minute video on the Internet of Culkin sitting down at a table and eating a slice of pizza. That’s it. There’s occasional eye contact with the camera, but mostly it’s Macaulay looking somber and eating large bites of a cheese slice (sans crust).

Confused? Many have speculated that it’s a gag just to promote his Pizza tribute band, which it partially is, but it turns out it’s also an homage to a 1981 video of Andy Warhol sitting at a table and eating a Burger King hamburger. Culkin sits similarly to Warhol, picking at his food and looking off into the distance in the same way. And – the spookiest similarity of all – both videos clock in at exactly 4 minutes and 28 seconds, with both Warhol and Culkin beginning to eat right at 40 seconds.

It all seems to make sense, as most of the band’s artwork is inspired by Warhol, which you can view on their official tumblr page. Which is appropriate, given that The Velvet Underground was also largely influenced by the late artist.

The New York City-based band obviously isn’t very concerned with taking themselves seriously, even now that the band has gained notoriety by inviting Culkin. “He’s amused by it, as we all are,” lead vocalist Pheobe Kreutz told Vulture earlier this month. “I don’t think it was anything any of us were looking for, and none of us know how long it will last or when we’ll feel like it’s over. I think we’re sort of waiting for the universe to let us know what to do.”

  • Macaulay Culkin Joins Velvet Underground Tribute Band

With the inevitable return of Christmas comes the inevitable return of Christmas-themed movies. Sure, we all watch Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown, the Grinch, and the rest of the typical Christmas cast. One Christmas movie that everyone (and I mean everyone) loves and often overlooks, however, is Home Alone. The 1990 movie about a kid who gets left behind by the rest of his family while they take a trip to France for the holidays has been a classic since it was released, a fact that was further cemented when it received an Honest Trailers treatment earlier this year.

Unfortunately for Macaulay Culkin, the actor who plays Kevin McCallister, life has not been so grand since his days of childhood fame. Over the years, much has been made of Culkin’s real and rumored addictions to various drugs. This year, though, has brought promise to Culkin’s life.

Late last month, Culkin was spotted on a date in Paris (the city of love), hopefully repairing any damage caused by the break-up with Mila Kunis in 2011.

Perhaps it was this new-found, loving spirit which inspired Culkin to make his most recent career move from beloved child actor to a member in a Velvet Underground tribute band. In said band, Culkin plays the kazoo, some form of percussion, and provides vocals.

In true Kevin McCallister fashion, though, this tribute band is not some typical cover act. No, it’s much bigger than that. In order to ensure stardom and fame, Culkin and friends have decided to start The Pizza Underground, a Velvet Underground tribute band which adds a pizza-lens to every Velvet Underground song they cover.

One may think the band members are a bit off their rocker, but one’s mind has to change quickly upon discovery of the new rock anthems which can be created through the addition of pizza. “I’m Waiting for the Man” becomes “I’m Waiting for the Delivery Man;” “Femme Fatale” becomes “Pizza Gal;” and “These Days” turns into the instant classic, “Cheese Days”:

“I’ve been out walking / I don’t do too much toppings these days / Cheese days / Cheese days I seem to order cheese and don’t say please and then I walk away / Don’t ask for pepperoni, not today.”

If one wants to support Culkin’s newest career venture, just venture over to their bandcamp.com site where you can feel free to pay as much (or as little) as you want for The Pizza Underground’s first album.

  • Macaulay Culkin Finds Love In Paris

Macaulay Culkin Finds Love In Paris

Macaulay Culkin was an adorable child actor who made everyone laugh in the Home Alone films. As he grew up, his appearance and health began to worry fans and even his close friends and family. In 2012, Culkin made headlines for his alleged drug problem and then he dropped off the map. Many hoped he was in rehab or dealing with his addiction and health problems somewhere, but not he has recently popped up in Paris.

Culkin not only looks much better, but seems happier as well. It could be the new mystery girl on his arm or maybe he is just happy to be back to himself again. Culkin still has his childhood charm and even bought his new love a rose that he purchased as soon as his plane landed in Paris.

People who were watching the couple pointed out how happy Culkin seemed and that he was looking much better. The onlookers said that the couple seemed to enjoy each others company and his female companion really seemed to enjoy the gift.

Culkin was in a long term relationship with actress Mila Kunis, but the couple went separate ways after 8 years in 2011. But Culkin may not be in Paris just to find love. He also has a friend, Pete Doherty who lives there. According to a source close to Culkin, he and Doherty have become great friends.

“He enjoys being with an extreme character like Pete, and Pete likes him a lot, too,” the source said. “They sit up all night talking about the arts over bottles of wine and putting the world to right. They have become great friends.”

Regardless of his reason for being in Paris, it seems like Culkin has found himself again and will hopefully get his life back on track.

  • Macaulay Culkin Makes Comic Con Appearance

Macaulay Culkin hasn’t been in the public eye much since last year, when he was publicly accused of suffering from a debilitating drug habit. Culkin’s reps vehemently denied the rumors at the time, but Culkin only spurred the rumors on by appearing disheveled and unwell. According to the rep, the rumors were “not only categorically without merit, but…also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious. We beseech the responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive and insulting story by pursuing it any further.”

This weekend, however, he showed up at the New York Comic Con looking healthy and in good spirits, and when asked by a fan where he’s been hiding since starring in 2004’s “Saved!”, he replied cheekily, “Hiding under a rock somewhere.”

Culkin appeared at the Con with friends Breckin Meyer, Seth Green, and Matthew Senreich on the “Robot Chicken” panel and got silly with the boys, donning a pair of furry ears for the session. The 33-year old actor has been a frequent voice contributor on the Cartoon Network show for several years, often working alongside ex Mila Kunis.

At the Con, Seth Green–who is also a former child actor–spoke up on Culkin’s behalf, saying, “The best thing about Mac is that he had a better career by the time he was 14 than most of us have in our whole lives. If he spends four years, six years, not doing anything, he’ll still be more relevant than anyone here.”

  • Macaulay Culkin: 5 Things You May Not Know About Him

Macaulay Culkin has been troubled from a young age, making no secret of the fact that his relationship with his parents is strained at best. He has been estranged from his controlling father for years. When a photo surfaced recently of the young actor looking emaciated and unwell, rumors immediately began to fly that he’s on drugs, and the National Enquirer even issued a public plea for him to seek help for an addiction to heroin. Although Culkin’s reps have denied any drug use, those close to him say they’ve witnessed troubling behavior in their friend; some attribute it to a failed relationship with a certain actress, while some say he’s haunted by the family ties he’s severed. And while we all feel like we know the guy we watched grow up, it’s certain that he’s been burned by a life so publicly lived.

Culkin came into most of our lives as the tow-headed revenge-enthusiast Kevin McCallister in the hugely successful “Home Alone” films. Since then, he’s taken several roles completely outside of those we’re used to seeing him in, such as rave kid/drug addict/murderer Michael Alig in “Party Monster”, which was based on true events. While many were shocked to see the boy who once slapped after-shave on his cheeks and screamed as anything other than the lovable John Hughes creation we all came to know and love, some think Culkin was ready to shed that image long before he actually did.

Here are some surprising things you might not know/remember about him.

    1. He was married to actress Rachel Miner from 1998 to 2000; they separated and later divorced in 2002.

    2. He jumped right into a relationship with Mila Kunis the same year; they stayed together until 2011.

    3. As a kid, before he hit superstardom with “Home Alone”, he appeared in the Tim Robbins Vietnam thriller “Jacob’s Ladder”, then went on to portray a disturbed and murderous young boy in “The Good Son”, opposite Elijah Wood.

    4. He was close friends with Michael Jackson and slept over at his house several times; he later testified that nothing inappropriate ever happened while he was there and he never witnessed Jackson touching the other children who stayed there.

    5. He starred in his own animated series in the early 90’s.

  • Macaulay Culkin Heroin Addiction: Let It Go, Says Rep

Macaulay Culkin, former child star famous for his “Home Alone” films, has been accused of being hooked on heroin and painkillers by the National Enquirer, and the actors reps are not only denying it, they’re asking the media to drop it.

Culkin has worked quite a bit in recent years, although not in anything with a big name. He’s chosen instead to do some indie flicks and voiceover work–most notably on “Robot Chicken”, which is helmed by buddy Seth Green–but has mostly stayed out of the public eye. So when he emerged recently in a photo which showed him looking emaciated and not well, speculation of drug use began to circulate immediately among members of the press.

Our advice to Macaulay is to seek professional help to avoid the same tragic fate of other beloved celebrities, including Whitney Houston who died earlier this year. We believe that the former child star should be doing everything he can to get the treatment he so desperately needs – and which could have saved the life of his friend Elijah Rosello,
the Enquirer article reads. Should Macaulay’s representatives continue to deny The ENQUIRER’s accurate and detailed report, we are ready to offer him the opportunity to take a blood test administered by an independent medical lab.

But his reps are standing firm that the rumor is just a rumor and are asking the media to just drop it, which some think is an admission of guilt.

The actor’s publicist says the story “is not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious. We beseech the responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive and insulting story by pursuing it any further.”

No word on any of this from the actor himself, but because we’ve seen this sort of thing happen to so many child stars in the past, it’s troublesome for Culkin’s fans to think he might be headed down a dangerous road.
