  • Lisa Robin Kelly’s Autopsy Results Are In

    Lisa Robin Kelly’s cause of death has finally been determined. According to a report released by the Los Angeles County Coroner on Friday, the former That 70s Show actress died from multiple drug intoxication.

    Kelly passed away while sleeping, on August 15, after a fighting a long battle with drug addiction. She was only 43-years-old. According to her publicist, Kelly had checked into rehab several days before her death, and was hopeful that the treatment would finally work.

    “Lisa had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week where she was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years,” Craig Wyckoff said. “I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her. Last night she lost the battle.”

    Currently, the only information that has been revealed is that Kelly died from an accidental drug overdose. Further details, and the full toxicology report should be available to the public within the next few weeks.

  • Lisa Robin Kelly: Cause of Death Determined

    Lisa Robin Kelly, best known for her recurring role on That 70s Show, died six months ago in her sleep at the age of 43. Her cause of death has just been revealed. It seems the actress died of multiple drug intoxication–meaning she overdosed on more than one drug. The report didn’t say which drugs were found in her system.

    Lisa played Eric Forman’s older sister on That 70s Show. The cast was devastated to learn of her death on August 15th. An autopsy following her death failed to determine what caused her death. A toxicology report can often take months to conclude. Just days before Kelly’s death she was hospitalized with a blood alcohol level of .34–a level dangerously high enough to have potentially killed her.

    Shortly after Lisa Robin Kelly died, her agent Craig Wykoff said she suffered from “addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years.” She had checked herself into a rehab facility earlier in the week before she died.

    Kelly had been arrested at least four times for a variety of charges, including DUI, assault and spousal abuse.

    The official Coroner’s report will be released in about two weeks.

    Lisa Robin Kelly, the actress who played Laurie on “That ’70s Show”, was found dead in a California rehab facility on Wednesday night. She was 43 years old.

    Kelly has had a troubled past pretty much since she’s been in the acting world; she left “That ’70s Show” for a while–her character written off to go to beauty school–because of a drinking problem, then found herself in headlines several times for various arrests on drug and domestic abuse charges.

    Kelly’s most recent arrest came in June, when she was cited for driving under the influence after an officer spotted her car stalled on the side of the road. She was taken into custody and later released on $5,000 bail.

    Kelly’s agent told TMZ that she had only recently entered the rehab program to get help for her alcoholism.

    “She had been fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle,” he said.

    The cause of her death hasn’t been released yet, but sources say she went into cardiac arrest in her sleep on Wednesday night.

    Lisa Robin Kelly, the actress perhaps best known for her role as Eric’s sister on “That ’70s Show”, has had a rocky couple of years when it comes to run-ins with the law. Her latest arrest comes after an alleged assault on a 61-year old man…who also happens to be her husband.

    The couple reportedly got into a violent fight and both were taken into custody; they were also involved in a domestic disturbance earlier this year, when she was arrested for spousal abuse. She denied the allegations, however, saying her husband was trying to ruin her career by leveling accusations at her.

    Kelly hasn’t been seen much since her gig on the popular sitcom; her character was written off to beauty college in the third season to and the role was later taken over by another actress. Rumors flew back then that she had a problem with drugs and alcohol, although Kelly denies them. According to TMZ, police reports say substances were not involved in this dispute. She did plead guilty to a DUI back in the spring, however.

  • “That 70’s Show” Actress Arrested On Felony Abuse Charge

    Eric Foreman sure would have a lot to say about his longtime rival–and sister–being arrested.

    Lisa Robin Kelly, who played “Laurie Foreman” on Fox’s hit “That 70’s Show“, was arrested this weekend for spousal abuse against John Michas. The actress is denying the allegations against her, however, saying on her Facebook account that Michas is just trying to get her into trouble and ruin her career.

    Kelly, 42, left the popular television show during it’s third season; her character was written out to attend beauty college. She made a few more appearances in the fifth season but was permanently replaced by Christina Moore in the sixth. Kelly was arrested in 2010 on a drunk driving charge, receiving a fine and probation.

    Kelly’s disheveled mug shot–provided by TMZ–has led some fans to believe drugs were involved.
