  • Lindsay Lohan Choked By Congressman’s Aide During Hotel Fight

    Lindsay Lohan seems to be in the headlines almost every day lately, and rarely is the news good.

    The actress suffered some injuries during a scuffle in a hotel with a man she met on Saturday night at a club, and though she didn’t seek medical attention, she did file a harassment claim against him.

    Lohan was partying with some friends when she met 25-year old Christian LaBella, and later returned to a hotel room with him and her group. She says that when the battery on her phone died, she asked LaBella to use his, and ultimately discovered he had taken pictures of her in the club without her permission. LaBella says she then refused to give his phone back and a fight over the device ensued, wherein Lohan says LaBella choked her and pushed her down onto the bed.

    LaBella has countered her harassment claim with one of his own; the latest reports say that assault charges against LaBella have been dropped, but an investigation is apparently ongoing. Adding to the ordeal is the fact that LaBella is an employee of Illinois Rep. John Shimkus and works in Shimkus’ Washington office.

  • Lindsay Lohan Taken To E.R. With Lung Infection

    Lindsay Lohan had to be rushed to the emergency room over the weekend with a lung infection, her father said, something that has been plaguing her for weeks.

    “She’s fine, but she had a bad case of asthma as a kid, so she has to take these things seriously,” Michael Lohan said. “When she was a kid, we almost lost her a couple of times because of the asthma.”

    Lohan has made more than a few headlines lately, between her alleged antics on the set of “Liz And Dick”, a staggeringly high hotel bill which got her kicked out of the Chateau Marmont, a reported hit-and-run, and a jewelry heist. She has either vehemently denied or only vaguely addressed all of those things, but her father says she is considering filing a lawsuit against the man who claims she struck him with her car recently, since on surveillance cameras he is seen chasing after her but later said his leg was badly injured.

    Lindsay Lohan isn’t happy that a certain other child actress seems to be getting off easy during a spate of auto-related incidents, especially when Lindsay herself got hauled off to jail for similar behavior. She tweeted about the injustice yesterday, refraining from using any names (but we know who you’re talking about, Lilo).

    Bynes hasn’t responded yet (her Twitter account appears to be suspended), but it will be interesting to see what happens when she gets word of Lindsay’s tweet.

  • Lohan Vs. Producers: “Scary Movie 5” In Peril

    Okay, “peril” may be a strong word, but apparently Lindsay Lohan is taking the masterpiece that will be the fifth installment of the “Scary Movie” franchise way serious. She signed on to film a small cameo alongside fellow hot mess Charlie Sheen, then apparently started to balk when she realized she’d be making fun of herself. I suppose she’s never watched the other films in the series.

    “Lindsay missed every meeting she had for the film, including script reads and wardrobe meetings,” said a “source” to the New York Post. “Then she missed her flight to Atlanta on Sunday to shoot the movie. The producers had been getting signs Friday that she was a mess, and would not be fit to work. She is under contract — so to get out of it, she had to prove that she was sick. She tried to prove she has walking pneumonia.”

    She did end up making an appearance to film, although it was only after the producers threatened her with a lawsuit for breach of contract. They reportedly had to send a private jet to her in an effort to speed up the process.

    Lohan has always been notoriously “difficult” when it comes time to do what she’s paid to do, and has even been accused of trashing priceless items loaned to her while on the set of “Liz And Dick”. So far, she’s not made a statement about this latest batch of rumors.

    Lindsay Lohan has an interesting Twitter feed. Every now and then, buried between retweets from various adoring fans, you can find a gem of a post, either in the form of a rant, a random observation about life, or a cryptic message. Today, we got the latter.

    While no one is sure of what it means just yet, it’s almost certainly going to boost sales for Vanity Fair’s next issue.

  • Lindsay Lohan Reportedly Trashed 100K Worth Of Liz Taylor Memorabilia

    It must be hard work to be Lindsay Lohan’s rep. With all the rumors flying around her recently, it’s hard to figure out which ones have a nugget of truth to them, but it’s best to assume that wherever there’s Lindsay, there’s fire. From cigarettes.

    Lohan, who was kicked out of the famed Hollywood hotel Chateau Marmont back in July for non-payment of a $46,000 bill, is now being blamed for trashing a trailer which once belonged to Liz Taylor while on the set of her Lifetime movie, “Liz And Dick”. The trailer reportedly held items belonging to the iconic actress, including a rocking chair that’s gone missing, and all the fabric and even a picture of Taylor has been destroyed by cigarette burns. The estimated damage? $100,000.

    “I was specifically told that it would come back in pristine condition and in even better condition than it was at that time,” Angel Alger, who loaned out the dressing trailer, said. “Only a psychotic and rebellious person or people would steal irreplaceable museum belongings and leave it in this vandalized condition.”

    Of course, Lindsay has nothing to say about the accusations, but her rep denied she had anything to do with the vandalism.

    “This has nothing to do with Lindsay. You should ask the producers about it.”

  • Lohan Hotel Bill Exceeds 40 G’s, Gets Her Kicked Out

    Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay. It seems one can’t go a day without reading about some sort of Lohan shenanigans, and this is actually twice in one day for me.

    Seems the “Liz And Dick” actress ran up a $46,350 hotel bill at Hollywood’s prestigious Chateau Marmont and just doesn’t want to pay, which is irritating the managers. They sent her a nice little note to remind her she has to pay for her lodgings and, you know, all those cigarettes.

    No word yet from Lindsay on whether or not she’ll be forking over the dough, but considering she just barely got out of some jewelry theft charges, she should probably get her debts square and rely on her films to get all the media attention.

  • Lindsay Lohan Burglary Case: She Can’t Get Her Story Straight

    Lindsay Lohan seems to epitomize the term “troubled”. In the past few years she’s been accused of hit-and-runs, drinking and driving, being addicted to drugs, stealing jewelry, and procuring hastily-done plastic surgery which makes her look several years older than she actually is. She’s been in jail, she’s dealt with lengthy court appearances, and somehow, in the midst of it all, she’s managed to appear in a few movies which garnered mostly bad reviews.

    It doesn’t look like things are changing anytime soon. Lohan has been accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of cash and other items from a friend, Sam Magid, when she attended his house party. Her assistant told authorities that some items were indeed taken, but wouldn’t say who the culprit was. And while that certainly sounds suspicious, Lohan didn’t have any trouble pushing the blame onto other party-goers, including Andrew Knight (son of music mogul Suge Knight).

    However, she later alternately said she was on Ambien and was too hazy to remember exactly what happened, and that she was simply hiding the items in different locations around the house because she was worried they would be stolen. Because none of the items were found to be in her possession and because there are so many conflicting stories, officials say they don’t have sufficient evidence to press charges against Lohan, so it looks like she’ll get a pass on this one. Hopefully she’ll stick to making movies and stay out of trouble.

  • Lindsay Lohan Thinks Francesca Eastwood Is A Nobody

    Lindsay Lohan has earned a reputation for being a complete nightmare, and if the stories from last week are true, it doesn’t look like her “comeback” is having much of an effect on her attitude.

    Lohan, who has made an effort to jump-start her career recently with roles in “Liz And Dick” and “The Canyons”, apparently feels she isn’t getting the respect she deserves. When she arrived at Hollywood club Bootsy Bellows on Tuesday night and saw Francesca Eastwood seated at a private table with some friends, Lohan went off and demanded to have her removed.

    “I’m a star, she’s a nobody, get her out of here!” she reportedly yelled.

    While Eastwood and her entourage (as well as Lohan’s reps, of course) won’t go into detail about the confrontation, they did acknowledge that there was a disturbance that left everyone involved very confused.

    “We were celebrating my girlfriend Francesca’s birthday at Bootsy Bellows, and it was a blast,” Tyler Shields, Francesca’s boyfriend, said. “Suddenly, there was a burst of chaos, and as quickly as it started, it was over. After the fact, we were all a bit confused about what just happened.”

    “I’m not sure what exactly sparked Lindsay’s outburst,” Francesca said. “Regardless, I still had an amazing birthday and Parent Trap is still my favorite movie.”

    Lohan, who just signed on to “Scary Movie 5” with Charlie Sheen, may be taking her Hollywood status a tad too seriously. Either way, her fans are just happy to see her on the acting scene again.

  • Lindsay Lohan Found Unconscious In Hotel Room

    Lindsay Lohan was found unconscious this morning in her Marina Del Rey hotel room and prompted a friend to call 911; officials haven’t said yet if her condition is drug or alcohol related, although speculation is flying this afternoon since Lohan is well-known for her partying ways.

    Lohan has been staying in the penthouse suite of the Ritz-Carlton while filming the Lifetime movie “Liz And Dick”, in which she plays iconic actress Elizabeth Taylor. She’s been in the headlines quite a bit lately, between news from the set of a wardrobe malfunction, a new role which would have her playing opposite a porn star, and a recent car accident which left her Porsche totaled.

    The 25-year old actress has claimed she’s cleaning up her life and has appeared to be heading down the right path until very recently, although early reports said her car accident didn’t involve intoxication.

    This story is breaking and will have more details as they emerge.

    Lindsay is reportedly fine and did not need to be taken to the hospital as previously reported. Her rep told E! News that she is simply exhausted from long hours of filming and was apparently in a deep sleep this morning when her friend tried to wake her. She is expected back on set later today.

  • Lindsay Lohan Experiences Wardrobe Malfunction

    Lindsay Lohan, the troubled actress who recently drove her expensive car into the back of an 18-wheeler, recently had a bit of a “wardrobe malfunction” on the set of her latest cinematic endeavor, “Liz & Dick”. The biopic tells the story of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, the former of whom will be portrayed by Lohan. The last thing we want is confusion over which character the “Mean Girls” star will be tackling.

    During a scene which involved Lohan’s on-screen husband Grant Bowler violently pulling her around a yacht, the actress suddenly popped out of her sundress, giving the cast and crew a good look at her famous wobbly bits. Lohan, ever the trooper, finished the scene with her nipple exposed, though she quickly retreated behind closed doors to adjust herself. She later emerged with her chest properly covered, apparently amused by the whole ordeal.

    “Liz & Dick”, which is tentatively scheduled to appear on the Lifetime network this November, is Lohan’s first foray into filmed entertainment since the 2010 over-the-top action flick “Machete”, a film in which she had a small role. Her last starring role came in the form of Lara Shapiro’s 2009 comedy “Labor Pains”, which wasn’t favorably received.

    Lohan, meanwhile, is pretty jazzed about the opportunity to portray one of her icons on-screen. “I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor,” she explained. “She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well.”

  • Lohan Tanning Bill: Actress Owes Thousands

    A Nevada tanning salon called Tanning Vegas is pretty upset that Lindsay Lohan hasn’t paid her outrageous bill, and after a judge’s orders for her to pay it went unanswered, the company has decided to move forward with the case.

    Lohan, who has been busy with various other court dates for different infractions and is gearing up for her role as Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie “Liz And Dick“, just hasn’t found the time to fork over the $41, 031 she owes for acquiring her Oompa-Loompa coloring, and now Tanning Vegas is trying to take their suit to California, where they can legally get hold of her assets and demand she gives them what she owes.

    The time period in question is between 2007 and 2009, which begs the question: how many visits to a tanning salon can one make in two years to rack up over $40,000 in charges?

  • Santorum And Lohan: Twitter Reacts To Unlikely Buddies

    Rick Santorum was at a White House Correspondent’s Dinner over the weekend with President Obama and some influential people in the world of media and beyond; Greta Van Susteren, Jimmy Kimmel, and…Lindsay Lohan?

    While I’m still not quite sure how Lohan got an invite to such an event, the bigger question is why Rick Santorum was so interested in her.

    TMZ has reported that Santorum approached the table Lohan was sitting at and asked her to take a picture of him with Van Susteren, which seems fair enough…although I’m sure there were any number of people snapping photos that could have obliged him. At any rate, Lohan took the picture and, after getting his camera back, Santorum asked for a solo pic of just Lindsay.

    Maybe he’s a big “Parent Trap” fan?

    Perhaps the strangest thing of all is that Santorum later said he “didn’t remember” taking the picture.

  • Lindsay Lohan To Play Liz Taylor; Twitter Reacts

    Actress Lindsay Lohan has become more well-known for her arrests, nightclub shenanigans, and changing looks than she is for her thespian skills. But apparently there are still directors who are eager to secure her for their films, despite rumors that she is notoriously hard to work with, and her next starring role is set to begin filming as early as June. Lohan will be playing Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime Original Movie Liz And Dick.

    “I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor,” Lohan said in a statement. “She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well. I am very honored to have been asked to play this role.”

    The film will focus on the rocky marriage, divorce, and remarriage of Taylor to co-star Richard Burton, whom she met while filming Cleopatra.

    Some say intense media scrutiny of Lohan is partly to blame for her bad reputation, but it’s clear that no matter what the reason, people have something to say about her portrayal of a beloved film icon.

    Lindsay Lohan: Hit & Run Allegations “A Complete Lie”

    Early this morning, it was reported that actress and long-time friend of the paparazzi Lindsay Lohan had struck a man while driving away from a club – and that she had driven away. Now, she has taken to Twitter to rail against these “false accusations.”

    According to TMZ, police were called to the 6500 block of Hollywood Blvd. shortly before 1 am Wednesday morning. Apparently, Lohan was attempting to wade through a sea of paparazzi in her Porsche when she scraped the leg of a hookah lounge manager.

    Although some eyewitnesses say that the manager was fine, he reportedly went to the hospital and is planning on pressing charges. Of course, if this is the case, the police would need to open up a hit & run investigation – and Miss Lohan is currently on probation.

    The Lindsay Lohan situation takes another interesting turn, this time away from the courthouse and into the penthouse, if you will.

    TMZ is reporting that Lohan is in the process of shooting photos for Playboy magazine, the culmination of a deal that has been in the works for quite a while. What’s the going rate for some Lohan nudes these days? Apparently, $1 million.

    According to the sources, Lohan was originally offered $750K, but turned down that paltry sum. One million was apparently enough, as they say shooting began last weekend.

    If you remember correctly, Lohan was dealing with some legal issues this past weekend as well.

    Of course, the Playboy spread wouldn’t be the first time that the world gets a glimpse at the celebrity in the nude. A few years ago, Lohan did a spread of semi-nude photos for New York magazine. The series of photographs was taken to mimic “The Last Sitting,” an impromptu 1962 photo shoot with Marilyn Monroe. The same photographer that shot Monroe, Bert Stern, also shot Lohan.

  • Lindsay Lohan Lands Her First Acting Job Since House Arrest

    Who said a little court-ordered downtime would stop Lindsay Lohan from acting?

    Today she unveiled to the world her new role – as a spokesperson for online penny auction site Beezid.com.

    Lohan (or, LiLo as the kids call her) has been serving a brief house-arrest sentence since May 26th. She was charged with stealing a necklace from a Venice, CA jeweler, plead no contest, was fitted with an ankle bracelet and ordered to spend 35 days inside her home. This means that she’s just over a week from freedom, sweet freedom.

    But it looks like LiLo couldn’t wait to get back in front of the camera. She sent out this tweet a little while ago –

    From that tweet we are directed to a brief commercial for Beezid.com, filmed from Lohan’s pad. Beezid.com is a small increment auction site that uses a bid system. Users register, purchase packages of “bids” and then use those bids to attempt to snatch up items for super-low prices.

    What did Beezid pay Lohan for the sub-15 second YouTube ad? $25,000 plus a $10,000 credit on the site. And you thought you couldn’t hate the world any more than you already do.
