  • Shannen Doherty’s Bad Behavior Gets Televised In Lifetime’s ‘Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210’

For the Beverly Hills, 90210’s 25th anniversary, Lifetime aired The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210, a film about what went on behind the scenes of the show, played by a younger set of actors and actresses.

And a lot was revealed about Shannen Doherty, who was the reputed bad girl of the show. According to the film, Doherty displayed a lot of bad behavior that her co-stars had difficulty dealing with. Doherty often got herself into fights, some with her co-stars and some with other people. She has been arrested and was always late for filming. At first, Tori Spelling defended her tardiness because she was her friend, but Doherty made her biggest mistake when she dared to threaten Spelling. Doherty allegedly warned Spelling to “watch her back” after arriving late on set again. After that incident, Doherty was never seen again in the series. Also, Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth were shown having a fight in a carpark because of a red dress they both wanted to wear. In the next scene, Doherty was arrested for picking a fight in the club.

The police officer even said to her, “Do I know who you are? Yes. You are a big pain in the ass. Everybody thinks that.”

Ian Ziering also tried to talk some sense into her, “You’re like a shark, you’re like a tornado – you’re like a mixture between a shark and a tornado.”

At the end of the scene, Doherty crashes Ziering’s sports car and Ziering predicts the creation of Sharknado the movie.

While Shannen Doherty is known for her antagonistic personality, all that aggression cannot seem to subdue her present condition.

Doherty recently revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer and might undergo chemotherapy and mastectomy.

Unfortunately, she was let go by her management firm Tanner Mainstain. The firm was allegedly responsible for her medical expenses but failed to pay them, and did not inform the ‘90210’ star.

Doherty has filed a suit against Tanner Mainstain, claiming that her cancer could have been prevented if the firm had just done its job for her.

  • Kristen Wiig And Will Ferrell Team Up To Make A Lifetime Movie — ‘A Deadly Adoption’

It might sound like an April Fools’ joke but it’s apparently true that Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig have indeed teamed up for a Lifetime movie.

The Saturday Night Live alums are starring in the dramatic thriller called A Deadly Adoption.  This top-secret TV movie is a campy homage to the dramatic thriller genre that is a hallmark of the Lifetime network.

A Deadly Adoption is about a couple who’re apparently successful in all aspects of their lives, except in their ability to have children. They take care of a pregnant woman, played by 90210’s Jessica Lowndes, in the hopes of adopting her unborn child.

Of course, in typical Lifetime fashion, the situation goes horribly, maybe even humorously, awry.

Filming for the 2-hour TV movie has already wrapped up and it’s executively produced by Andrew McKay and Ferrell through their Gary Sanchez Productions. It’s also like an SNL reunion of sorts for Ferrell, Wiig and writer Andrew Steele who all worked together on IFC’s The Spoils of Babylon. The movie is directed by Lifetime regular Rachel Lee Goldenberg, who’s known for helming Escape from Polygamy and Love at the Christmas Table.

A Deadly Adoption is tentatively slated for a summer release and will be part of Lifetime’s 25th anniversary. The American cable and satellite TV channel was established in 1984 and is known for featuring programs aimed toward women and which almost always feature women in leading roles.

The movie is a wonderful coup for the network and would undoubtedly fit in well with other titles like A Deadly Love, Baby for Sale or A Face to Die For. While there’s still no release date set for A Deadly Adoption, it’s almost a certainty that fans of Kristen Wigg and Will Ferrell and other SNL enthusiasts will be rubbing shoulders with Lifetime ladies at viewing parties all across the US.

  • Whitney Houston Biopic Is A Commercial Success, Garners Mixed Reviews

Lifetime’s controversial Whitney Houston biopic, Whitney, proved to be a ratings draw for the network. The film, which was directed by Angela Bassett, attracted 4.5 million viewers and is the network’s most-watched telecast since the made-for-TV drama, Flowers in The Attic. However, despite being a commercial success, the film garnered mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. People who were expecting a train wreck were pleasantly surprised, however, they still had some bones to pick with the film.

The Daily Beast was one of the sites that expected the Whitney Houston biopic to flop, but they did have some kind words to say about the production. According to the review, the film “forces us to revisit, or maybe realize for the first time, how conflicted Houston was at the most successful time of her career”, while criticizing the film for being boring and not being thought-provoking.

The New York Times also criticized the film’s structure, stating that cherry-picking key moments in Whitney Houston’s life and tying them together led to a “confusing” narrative. Billboard, on the other hand, voiced some concerns that the film focuses too much on Bobby Brown’s point of view when it comes to their relationship.

Whitney Houston’s estate expressed their disapproval of the film. The late singer’s sister-in-law, Pat Houston, slammed the biopic even before it aired. In a statement released by Pat, she says, “You should expect people will always rise to the occasion for prominence and profit … not love, respect or honor … I question the morality of the making of this because of the lack of experience knowing Whitney’s life.”

Whitney also made social media rounds when fans tweeted their reactions to the film’s gratuitous sex scenes as well as scenes of Whitney taking drugs. One disappointed fan even tweeted, “This @lifetimetv movie doesn’t do Whitney Houston’s legacy any justice, so far it’s only sex & Cocaine #Whitney #WhitneyHoustonMovie”.

  • ‘Witches Of East End’ Cancelled By Lifetime

‘Witches Of East End’ Cancelled By Lifetime

Witches of East End has been cancelled by Lifetime after only two seasons.

According to E! News, the series, which starred Jenna Dewan Tatum, Julia Ormond, Mädchen Amick and Rachel Boston, will not be returning for a third season.

The series is based on the book series of the same name and followed the Beauchamp family of witches.

Unfortunately, season two ended without wrapping up any loose strings, causing distress for fans who will never find out what happens to their favorite characters.

“Thank you to everyone who went on this extraordinary journey with us,” Boston tweeted to her fans after the news of the cancellation surfaced. “Your love, kindness, and support is forever magic #WitchesofEastEnd.”

According to The Wrap, Witches of East End was produced by Fox 21 and executive-produced by Maggie Friedman, Jonathan Kaplan, Erwin Stoff and Josh Reims.

“Thanks to all the @WitchesEastEnd fans for watching,”: Friedman tweeted. “So sad that it’s over but I had such an amazing experience. Thanks #witchEEs !!!!!!”

The first season averaged 1.67 million viewers. However, the number of viewers dropped to 1.13 million during its second season. The season two finale, which took place on October 5, only raked in 1.03 million viewers.

Are you disappointed? Do you think another network will pick up the show? Leave your comments below.

  • Christina Ricci Reprising Lizzie Borden Role

Christina Ricci is reprising her role as Lizzie Borden for a limited series on Lifetime. She once played Lizzie Borden on the network, alongside Clea DuVall, who played her sister–in Lizzie Borden Took An Ax. DuVall is also reprising her role. Both will appear in Lizzie Borden: The Fall River Chronicles, a fictionalized account of Borden’s life after she was acquitted of the axe murders of both her father and her stepmother.

In the new series, people begin dying rather mysteriously around Christina Ricci’s character. The deaths prompt Pinkerton detective Charlie Siringo to try proving that Lizzie Borden is responsible for the murders. Charlie Siringo will be played by Cole Hauser.

Rob Sharenow is the executive vice president and general manager of Lifetime. He says the series will take viewers down a road where they may find that dark side to Lizzie Borden they long feared existed.

“This series will take viewers further down Lizzie Borden’s dark path, revealing what many people suspected about her mysterious life,” he explained. “For more than a century, the world has been captivated by the legend of Lizzie Borden, but no one has captured her enigmatic menace as well as Christina Ricci.”

If you saw Christina Ricci in Lizzie Borden Took An Ax, then you understand exactly what Rob Sharenow means. And if you didn’t, you’re still in for a big treat as she reprises her role–even though this new series is fiction and the latter was based on fact.

Lizzie Borden: The Fall River Chronicles will air as a six-part series some time in 2015.

  • Tori Spelling May Be Pregnant, Again; ‘True Tori’ Season Two Promises More Drama

With the end of the first season of reality series True Tori, star Tori Spelling seemed to be on the mend with her husband Dean McDermott. However, the sneak peek trailer for True Tori’s second season is promising more drama for Spelling and her husband, especially with the news that she may be pregnant.

The video starts off with Spelling saying that McDermott came back from Canada to start anew, which is followed by footage of the couple arguing again, with McDermott asking, “Why are you with me?” Another highlight of the reel is when Spelling tells her therapist that she is ready to see a picture of the woman with whom her husband cheated, a revelation that shocks her all the same. Finally, Spelling ends the video by dropping a bombshell: she may be pregnant.

All this drama is a tantalizing lure for people who want to witness the reconciliation process of Spelling and McDermott when True Tori returns on October 21. However, interviews with the couple are indicating that they are doing better together than what the cameras have caught.

The couple’s commitment and hard work seem to have paid off as Spelling wrote a blog entry in August that was a glowing report of her relationship with McDermott. “I’m happy and proud to say that we are doing really well, and that Dean and I are working very hard to make our relationship and our family better than ever. I’m proud of Dean for all of the hard work he’s been doing on himself, and I’m excited that he is back to blogging over on The Gourmet Dad!”

According to RadarOnline.com, Spelling had to take a pay cut just to get Lifetime to go with another season of True Tori. She reportedly only received $50,000 to do the entire second season. Despite the pay cut, Spelling seems truly happy that her marriage to McDermott has worked out through the course of the show.

  • Aubrey Plaza To Voice Grumpy Cat In Lifetime Movie

Aubrey Plaza has landed a new, very unique, role.

The Parks and Recreation star has been selected to be the voice of the famous Grumpy Cat in the new Lifetime original movie, Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever.

The network confirmed Plaza’s role, and said the film is set to air on November 29, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The film will revolve around a lonely cat in a mall pet shop who never gets picked by customers.

“Because she never gets chosen by customers, she develops a sour outlook on life, until one day during the holidays, a very special 12-year-old girl named Chyrstal enters the pet store and falls in love with her after realizing she is the only person who can hear this unique cat talk,” the network’s statement read.

“As the two develop a close friendship during the holiday rush, Grumpy reluctantly thwarts the kidnapping of an exotic dog she dislikes and, on Christmas Eve, rescues Chyrstal after the mall closes,” the statement continued. “Through her adventures, will Grumpy learn the true meaning of Christmas? Or will it be, in her words, the ‘Worst. Christmas. Ever?’”

Glee star Jane Lynch was originally slated for the part, but decided to bow out after winning an Emmy for Hollywood Game Night.

  • Brittany Murphy: Critics Do Not Like Lifetime Biopic

A lot of people were upset with the Brittany Murphy Story that was made by Lifetime. Brittany’s father was extremely upset about the film and criticized everything from the inaccuracies in the story to the cast.

It looks like Brittany’s dad isn’t the only one who didn’t like the biopic, because critics are not taking too kindly to it either. Critics have used the terms ‘colossal mess,” “atrocious,” and “not even remotely entertaining” to describe the movie, and most say that viewers shouldn’t even waste their time watching it.

“That truly atrocious interpretation of Alicia Silverstone in ‘Clueless’ is representative of the care, fineness and budgeting that went into the making of The Brittany Murphy Story, a movie so underwhelming it makes last year’s Anna Nicole Smith biopic seem like a masterpiece,” Time’s Laura Stampler wrote in her review. “The film was shot in 16 days, and it seems like less time was spent writing the script. ‘The Brittany Murphy Story’ isn’t guilty of smearing the actress’ memory. Its crime is more insidious: It makes the young, talented actress seem entirely forgettable.”

Brittany’s father was very angry with the way he and his daughter were portrayed in the film and even said that he plans to release his own biopic that tells the true story of his daughter and her life. He was also upset that the film did not even touch on the fact that he believes Brittany and her husband, who was found dead just a few months later, were poisoned.

Critics also thought the film should have brought up Brittany’s father’s theory.

“It opens with the press conference following Brittany’s mysterious death in 2009. The official cause of death: pneumonia and anemia. Some suspect poison. Her mom Sharon Murphy (Sherilyn Fenn) and husband Simon Monjack (Eric Peterson) put up a united front. There’s tabloid speculation about drugs. Both deny that. The movie then avoids delving into any of this,” journalist Amy Steele wrote in her review. The controversy surrounding her death needs to be addressed in a movie about her. It’s like making and Amy Winehouse film and avoiding her drug use.”

Another critic said that he couldn’t get past the bad acting and writing to even get into the movie at all.

The Brittany Murphy Story does not fall into the so-bad-it’s-good camp, because it is not even remotely entertaining. It’s not ironically good, and it’s not worth the energy to hate-watch,” Viruet wrote. “It’s less of a biopic that celebrates Murphy and more of a cheesy mystery thriller, complete with a dramatic distracting score, dramatic camera filters, and dramatic shots of Murphy taking pills (‘Antidepressants?!’ her mother cries in pure horror, as though she’d walked in on Murphy shooting heroin into her eyeballs). The less said about the acting, the better.”

He advised viewers not to waste their time watching it.

  • Brittany Murphy’s Father Is Crying Foul Over Lifetime Biopic

Angelo Bertolotti, father of the late actor Brittany Murphy, is reportedly furious about the biopic about his daughter that aired on Saturday, September 6 on Lifetime. He is apparently upset that no one from the production of The Brittany Murphy Story had approached him or her family for their input when they made the movie.

“I am disgusted and outraged that Lifetime decided to produce such a trashy project, defiling the memory of my beautiful, talented daughter, Brittany Murphy,” said Bertolotti to the Examiner.

Bertolotti previously told RadarOnline.com that he intended to sue Lifetime. “Frankly, I am amazed at their audacity of calling it ‘a true story’ without conducting any research. The Brittany Murphy Story is an affront to everything my daughter was in real life. It’s hideous, unauthorized and completely untrue,” said Murphy’s father.

He also criticized the movie for its casting choices, calling them “atrocious” and saying actor Amanda Fuller “looks absolutely nothing like [Murphy]”. Bertolotti is reportedly cyberbullying Fuller by tweeting and retweeting many comments about the actor being too fat to play his daughter.

“He can say what he wants,” Fuller said in an interview with The TVPage.com. “He has already gone and attacked me on Twitter and I have had to block him and that is fine. He can do what he wants. But I just think it is interesting that the minute she is back in the press he is all about, ‘I am going to sue’ and all that stuff. If he really respected his daughter’s memory then I don’t know if he would be trying to make all this controversy about it. Let her rest in peace.”

The Brittany Murphy Story explores the life of the actress who died in 2009 at the age of 32 due to what the coroner ruled was a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and “multiple drug intoxication.” It details the rise of Murphy’s career, the circumstances of her death and explores Bertolotti’s claims that his daughter had been poisoned.

  • Brittany Murphy’s Father Disagrees With Biopic

Brittany Murphy’s father Angelo Bertolotti is upset about the upcoming Lifetime biopic about his late daughter. A lot of people have issues with the biopic and claim that it isn’t giving the full story and that the actress playing Murphy does not look a thing like her.

Angelo spoke out about the biopic to the Examiner and said,

“I am disgusted and outraged that Lifetime decided to produce such a trashy project, defiling the memory of my beautiful, talented daughter, Brittany Murphy. Frankly, I am amazed at their audacity of calling it ‘a true story without conducting any research or consulting with any members of the family. The Brittany Murphy Story is an affront to everything my daughter was in real life. It’s hideous, unauthorized and completely untrue.”

“Lifetime’s casting was atrocious,” he added. “Amanda Fuller, the girl playing Brittany, looks absolutely nothing like her. Everyone looks ridiculous in their bad wigs and the dialogue is nauseating.”

Fuller defended herself and the film.

“It is what it is,” Fuller told The TV Page. “All of our hearts were in the right place.”

“I would have loved to have months of preparation and time to get down to a really skinny [body] so I could portray her physically better,” she continued. “And we would have loved to have had more money and more time for vocal lessons and stuff like that. But in the end, I think it became less of it being a look-alike piece and more about just trying to capture the essence of who she was.”

Bertolotti is not only upset with the way his daughter is portrayed, but also how the film portrays him as a father.

“To suggest that I was never in Brittany’s life since the age of 2 is absolutely despicable. I was always a part of Brittany’s life and supported both her and her mother,” he said. “Anyone who thinks that [her mother] Sharon and Brittany could afford to move from New Jersey to California by selling Tupperware should have their heads examined.”

Bertolotti doesn’t necessarily blame Fuller for the inaccuracies in the film, but is just upset with the entire thing in general.

“To make a film about Brittany’s life and death, while her true cause of death is pending re-investigation, is in extremely poor taste. It’s completely inappropriate,” he said.

Bertolotti went on to say that he is planning to make his own biopic about his daughter and that it will tell the real story of her life and the people who were a part of it.

  • Brittany Murphy’s Father Outraged Over Lifetime Movie

Brittany Murphy left behind quite a few grief-stricken fans when she died suddenly in 2009, reportedly collapsing in the shower in her home due to a weakened state caused by pneumonia and a mixture of prescription and over-the-counter medicines. Since her death, her father has ordered testing to be done on her blood and hair after finding the details surrounding her death to be suspicious, and last year a report was released showing elevated levels of metals in her system. The same metals were found in her husband Simon’s system when he passed away just five months after her death, and rumors began to circulate that both Brittany and Simon were poisoned. Now, a Lifetime movie about the star’s life looks to be following that train of logic with a new trailer, and Murphy’s father is outraged at how it is presented.

“I am disgusted and outraged that Lifetime decided to produce such a trashy project, defiling the memory of my beautiful, talented daughter, Brittany Murphy. Frankly, I am amazed at their audacity of calling it ‘a true story’ without conducting any research. The Brittany Murphy Story is an affront to everything my daughter was in real life. It’s hideous, unauthorized and completely untrue,” Angelo Bertolotti said.

Bertolotti says that several elements of the story are completely untrue–such as the assertion that he deserted Murphy when she was very young–and isn’t happy with the actress who portrays his daughter, saying she looks nothing like her.

The movie will reportedly delve into her career as well as her tragic death, and will show her rise to fame with the film Clueless.

  • Keke Palmer Passes on Whitney Houston Role

BET talk show Just Keke host Keke Palmer recently opened up about her interview with Chris Brown’s girlfriend Karrueche Tran, her admiration of Rihanna and why she turned down the lead role in a Lifetime Whitney Houston biopic.

Actress, singer, songwriter, dancer, fashion designer, philanthropist, entrepreneur, talk show host and activist Lauren Keyana “Keke” Palmer, 20, became the youngest talk show host ever, when Just Keke premiered on June 30.

During her Wednesday sit down with Palmer, Karrueche Tran, 26, breaks down while discussing the slings and arrows of dating a celebrity (Brown), who has an ex who is even a bigger celebrity (Rihanna), and what all of that means for her Twitter account.

Here is a clip from Palmer’s Tran interview:

Palmer later made it clear that her “dream” talk show guest is actually Rihanna, distancing herself from an association with the embattled Brown. “Rihanna is an individual,” Keke remarked, adding, “She represents everything that I believe in, which is being yourself and not allowing other people to change you.”

    The wisdom of Keke:

Keke also revealed why she decided against pursuing a Whitney Houston role in an upcoming biopic. “Initially, I was thinking about the Whitney Houston [biopic] … to play Whitney,” Palmer commented. “But I don’t know if that was a story that I wanted to tell, because the family’s not involved, and that’s a big part for me.”

“I think if you’re going to do a movie or biopic about someone, the family needs to be involved, because you want it to be as honest as possible. I think that was what didn’t really make me go out for it.”

No stranger for made-for-TV fare, Keke has appeared in three Lifetime original movies – Abducted: The Carlina White Story, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story, and The Trip to Bountiful. Palmer has also starred in Akeelah and the Bee, Madea’s Family Reunion and Ice Age: Continental Drift.

  • Stacy Keibler Says Choosing a Baby Name Was Easy

Stacy Keibler recently revealed that picking a name for her baby was quick and simple:

“We just talked about one name and that was it — easy peasy,” she said.

Keibler and husband Jared Pobre are expecting a baby girl sometime next month.

“Everything with us has been easy and effortless,” Keibler said.

Keibler has nothing but praise for Pobre, whom she married in March:

“Jared is the most thoughtful, loving, kind person. I couldn’t ask for a better father for my children,” she said in the June/July issue of Fit Pregnancy. “Our bond is so strong and special and getting pregnant has made it even more so.”

The actress, model, and former professional wrestler has had a high profile pregnancy and hasn’t hesitated to dole out advice to others who are expecting:

“Pregnancy is a time to be as healthy as you can be and build the foundation for your baby. I think that you should be even more conscious of what you’re doing.”

When she did her Fit Pregnancy photo shoot, Keibler wanted to focus more on the Pilates moves she’d been doing to stay strong during her pregnancy than on glitz and glamour and fancy clothes.

It’s obvious from Keibler’s Instagram feed that she’s staying active while pregnant:

And Keibler has done her fair share of traveling during this pregnancy, from her wedding in Punta Mita, Mexico:

    To St. Barth’s:

    To Yellowstone:

And a few places in between:

While Keibler’s last regular gig, Lifetime’s reality cooking show Supermarket Superstar, appears to be languishing, she’s keeping busy pimping products these days. Not surprisingly many of them are pregnancy related, from Baby Jogger strollers to Pea in the Pod maternity clothing.

  • Zendaya Coleman Quits Aaliyah Biopic

    Zendaya Coleman Quits Aaliyah Biopic

19-year-old Disney Channel Star Zendaya Coleman has pulled out of the Aaliyah biopic that was set to begin filming this summer for Lifetime.

“Because it’s someone that I honor and I respect so much, it has to be 128 percent, especially for all her fans, including myself,” said Coleman. “I didn’t feel like it was all the way there, so I didn’t want to do that. And when the time comes when it’s done right and it’s 100 percent, by all means, I will be the first person there ready to go.”

Lifetime announced Coleman’s intentions to star in the film two weeks ago, as well as their plans to have the young star record several of the late R&B singer’s hits.

Aaliyah’s family is reportedly not supporting the project, and Coleman received backlash from fans who believe she is too light-skinned to portray Aaliyah.

Coleman most recently competed in season 16 of Dancing with the Stars and is set to appear in two upcoming Disney films.

“She’s been an inspiration and influence in my whole career, her talent still shines brighter then ever, all I wanna do is honor her,” Coleman tweeted after her plans to appear in the biopic were announced, “….she’s beautiful inside and there will never be another Aaliyah, I just hope to share her beautiful story, and make her proud up in heaven.”

Aailyah, who passed in 2001 at age 22 in a tragic plane crash, is known for her hits such as “Try Again,” ”Back & Forth,” and “Are You That Somebody?”

The biopic, entitled Aaliyah: Princess of R&B, is scheduled for release this fall. Lifetime has not released an official statement on Coleman’s decision to leave the film, but have tweeted that they are “sad” that Coleman will no longer be involved in the project. According to Lifetime, her departure has put the production “on hold.”

  • Zendaya to Play Aaliyah Amidst Blacklash

Zendaya Coleman–known to her fans simply as Zendaya–believes she is the perfect fit for her role as Aaliyah in an upcoming film about the late singer’s life. It was announced on Monday that she had won the role.

“I really want it to be perfect for her and show young people what she was able to do and what she accomplished,” the Disney Channel star said in an interview Tuesday, of her role as the late R&B singer.

The old adage “If you want something done right, do it yourself,” even comes into play.

Zendaya said she’s the right choice to play Aaliyah because “if you want something done right, you’ve got to do it yourself.”

It was back in 2001 when Aaliyah died after the plane she was in crashed after takeoff in the Bahamas. She was a big star on the R&B and pop charts, having made platinum-plus albums. Her hits included songs like ‘Try Again,’ ‘Back & Forth,’ and ‘Are You That Somebody?’

Zendaya is well aware that Aaliyah fans will be scrutinizing her work in the upcoming film. Aaliyah’s family isn’t happy about the film being made, saying a made-for-TV movie isn’t good enough for the late singer. They have even hired attorneys to stop production.

The family, however, doesn’t want Zendaya to be blasted for playing the role, noting she is simply doing her job.

“I can’t please everybody … what I can do is work really hard and you know, just continue to show her legacy,” the former Dancing With the Stars contestant said. Zendaya was a runner-up on the dance competition show last year.

Were you a fan of Aaliyah? Can you see Disney’s Zendaya playing the role? She was almost five years old when the singer died, however her older sister was a big fan and would constantly play the music when babysitting a very small Zendaya.

The Shake It Up star released an album last year and a cut from it, ‘Replay,’ went platinum. There’s no question that the 17-year-old is very talented.

Shooting will begin this summer for the film about Aaliyah. It will be based on the book Aaliyah: More Than A Woman.

  • Tori Spelling Hospitalized Amid Marriage Crisis

Since the news of her husband’s affair broke, Tori Spelling has been sharing her story on her new Lifetime series True Tori, and has desperately been trying to salvage her marriage.

Has the stress become too much for her to handle? Many people believe it has, and are contributing the stress for Spelling’s recent hospitalization.

According to E! News, Spelling was hospitalized for at least six days before being released from the hospital on Saturday. Despite their troubles, sources have revealed that Spelling’s husband Dean McDermott was by her side the entire stay.

“He would arrive by 10am and didn’t leave until 8 most nights,” a source explained. “He seemed very stressed out and worried,” an observer said. ”He would bring food and often only left Tori to go outside to catch some air or make a phone call.”

Spelling and McDermott’s relationship started turning sour after she found out about his two-day affair with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand in December 2013. Since then, for the sake of her children Liam, 7, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 20 months, Spelling has been trying to find a way to cope with the affair and make her marriage work. “He cheated on me. One of my worst fears came true,” she told Us Weekly at the time. “On some level I never thought it would really happen.”

“I wanted to take a moment to address what’s been going on in my life over the last several months,” Spelling wrote on her blog last week. “Our family has been going through an incredibly difficult and trying time, and the story of what I’ve been going through has been told by everyone except for me. So, it’s time for me to set the record straight.”

To find out all of the intimate details about Spelling’s life, tune in to True Tori on Tuesdays at 10/9 C.

  • Stacy Keibler Shows Off Baby Bump on Red Carpet

Stacy Keibler hit the red carpet Tuesday night in a black cut-out gown that clearly displayed her growing baby bump.

The pregnant actress, model, and former professional wrestler attended Elle magazine’s annual Women in Music Celebration at the historic Avalon Theater in Hollywood.

Keibler’s floor-length black gown featured cut out sides that left no doubt about the pregnancy she announced in late March.

Several red carpet photos from the evening show a glowing Keibler cradling her stomach.

On March 24 Keibler posted her happy news on Instagram and Twitter.

The announcement came a few weeks after Keibler’s March 8 marriage to tech entrepreneur Jared Pobre.

Keibler began dating Pobre in 2013, just a few months after her relationship with actor George Clooney ended.

Keibler and Pobre had known each other for years, according to a friend, and suddenly “sparks flew.”

In September, Keibler posted a photo of her and Pobre drinking wine in Paris.

Their wedding less than six months later was a relative surprise to family and friends.

Their parents, immediate family, and Keibler’s “soul sister” Kelly Turk were invited to accompany them on a vacation in Punta Mita, Mexico. Once there, Keibler and Pobre announced they would be married on the beach in a few days.

“Everyone was screaming and hugging and over the moon,” Keibler said.

“We both enjoy a great party celebration but we felt strongly that our ‘love day’ should be intimately special,” the bride explained. “We didn’t want the experience of creating a wedding to take away from our own thoughtful meaning.”

Pobre is CEO of Future Ads LLC, an Orange County, CA tech company he started in 2001 with a mere $500 investment. By 2009 Future Ads had brought in close to $50 million in revenue, earning Pobre a slew of awards and recognition in the business world.

Devious Maids returned for its second season on Sunday night to rave reviews across all the TV blogs. • Roselyn Sanchez Talks Season 2 Of Devious Maids

During the shocking season one finale of Lifetime’s Devious Maids, we found out who killed Flora.

Now, with season two underway, Roselyn Sanchez is revealing that we are in for an even deadlier season.

“There are deaths,” Sanchez said.”A new murder mystery happening, new families, and a lot of changes.”

Ana Ortiz’s, Sanchez’s co-star, character Marisol Duarte will really be changing it up this season. In season one, we saw her posing as a maid to try to prove her son’s innocence in Flora’s death, but in this season she is hiring help of her own.

“Ana has her own maid, which is crazy!” Sanchez explained. “And she’s engaged to this very wealthy man and she’s going through this ,’who is he — for real? Because he’s a little bit devious, actually. He has secrets,” she added.

Ortiz’s character is not the only one who experiencing life-altering changes. Sanchez admits that her character Carmen Luna is literally “out of her mind,” but she still loves her. “Carmen is out of her mind,” Sanchez said. “She decides to forget about love and become the beard for Alejandro Rubio (Matt Cedeno) because he’s gay and a big pop star and he doesn’t want the world to know he’s gay. So I become his trophy wife.”

“And then thinking that’s going to change my life dramatically and I’m going to accomplish my dreams, but of course everything goes wrong and she’s completely out of touch with reality and makes bad choices and insanity. But I love her. She’s crazy.”

  • Tori Spelling: Dean McDermott Broke Her Heart

Tori Spelling revealed during an interview with Us Weekly that hubby Dean McDermott broke her heart by cheating on her with another woman. The news about McDermott’s dalliances with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand broke in December, and Tori and Dean’s marriage has been on thin ice ever since.

“He was my soulmate, but he completely broke my heart,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum said of McDermott.

The couple has four children together. Liam is 7, Stella is 5, Hattie is 2, and baby Finn is just 20 months old. The fact that Tori is a devoted mother and was at home with their four children while he played around no doubt adds some pretty serious insult to injury. Add to that the fact that Tori nearly died following Finn’s birth, and just the term “cheating husband” takes on a whole new heinous form.

Tori and Dean have gone to marriage counseling. She teased fans with this particular tidbit during a promo for her upcoming Lifetime docu-series. Called True Tori, it premieres on April 22nd.

The issue of Us Weekly in which Tori Spelling’s complete interview is featured reportedly delves into the moment she learned about Dean McDermott’s affair, as well as her confrontation of him. It also explains why she didn’t kick him out of the house when learning about his infidelity.

“I feel so judged, but it’s not black and white,” she says in the interview.

Tori also claims she is “protecting her children” but fans will apparently have to buy the magazine when it hits news stands on Friday in order to find out from what or whom she is protecting them.

One big question comes to mind when observing Tori Spelling’s struggles from a distance, however. Living in the limelight isn’t always the best way to work on private issues like serious marital problems. Should Tori perhaps not be sharing her woes on a new TV show? It seems a bit exploitive–don’t you think?

How do you think this will all turn out? Will Tori and Dean get divorced? Will they work things out and live happily ever after? Will this all wind up on reality TV?

And then there’s the most important question of all. Does anyone really care?

  • Renee Zellweger Walks First Red Carpet in Months

Renee Zellweger walked the red carpet at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco on Monday–the first event she has appeared at in four months. The event was a fundraiser supporting ‘The Painted Turtle,’ a camp cofounded by Paul Newman for kids with life threatening or chronic illnesses. The last time Zellweger walked a red carpet was back in November when she appeared at the Long Shot: The Kevin Laue Story screening in Burbank.

Despite her lack of public appearances, Renee was stunning at “A Starry Evening of Music, Comedy & Surprises” in her little black dress. She wore just enough makeup to enhance her pretty features, and fashioned her hair in a very becoming and ever popular messy updo. Zelwegger posed with several other celebrities throughout the evening, including Kathy Griffin and Glee star Amber Riley. Riley was definitely very excited to have spent a few moments chatting with the actress.

Great4Hair saw the messy updo and touted Renee Zelwegger as one who sports it best.

One of Hollywood’s highest paid actresses just a few years ago, Renee Zelwegger hasn’t made a film since 2010 when she starred in My Own Love Song. In 2013 she co-created and executive produced a drama called Cinnamon Girl. It was all about the music and movies produced in the 1960s and the 1970s. Unfortunately Lifetime passed on her pilot.

Although set to reprise her Bridget Jones’s Diary role, the Jerry Maguire star might not be seen on the big screen in a while.

“I wouldn’t say that it’s completely dead in the water,” Zelwegger’s Bridget Jones costar Colin Firth said during a 2013 interview, “but the way it’s going, you might be seeing Bridget Jones’ granddaughter’s story being told by the time we get there.”

That’s rather surprising to hear, given the popularity of the 2001 romantic comedy.

Has Renee Zelwegger lost her touch or is she simply exercising other talents for the time being? Surely the gorgeous 44-year-old isn’t done with Hollywood yet. And since she has made enough mula to no doubt live very nicely for a long, long time, perhaps she is simply biding her time until something scintillating in the script world catches her eye.
