  • Stephanie Sokolinski Seen Kissing Girlfriend, “Twilight” Star Kristen Stewart, in Paris

Stephanie Sokolinski and her girlfriend, Twilight star Kristen Stewart, are taking very seriously the notion that Paris is the “City of Love.” The two were spotted kissing on a Paris street.

A French musician who goes by “SoKo,” Stephanie Sokolinski has long identified as a lesbian. She recently told the lesbian/bisexual pop culture site After Ellen that she has “liked girls since I was fucking born.”

Kristen Stewart, who hasn’t been seriously linked to anyone since she dated her Twilight costar Robert Pattinson (whom she cheated on), told Nylon last year that she isn’t hiding anything with regard to her sexuality.

“If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it,” Stewart said. “But I am an actress, man. I live in the fucking ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, ‘I’m coming out! No, I do a job. Until I decide that I’m starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving…I don’t. I’m just a kid making movies.”

The Paris sighting wasn’t the first for Stephanie Sokolinski and Kristen Stewart. Earlier in March they were seen together in L.A.

Do you suppose this “thing” between Kristen Stewart and Stephanie Sokolinski is real? Or are the two just casually dating and enjoying a bit of a fling.

  • Miss Spain Comes Out Of The Closet

Miss Spain Comes Out Of The Closet

Miss Spain, Patricia Yurena Rodríguez, came out of the closet last week by posting a photo of her and her girlfriend on her personal Instagram account.

Patricia, who took home the country’s crown in 2008 and 2013, shared a photo of her and her girlfriend DJ Vanesa Cortes in bed together. This revelation makes Patricia the first openly gay national beauty queen, and the first to speak about being homosexual.

The photo, captioned by saying “Romeo and Juliet,” has gained over 7,000 likes.

Rodriguez received an outpouring of support from her fans. So much so that she posted a separate message a few days later to thank them. “I published [the photo] quite naturally and impulsively,” the message, translated from Spanish, read. “I appreciate the outpouring of support and even more to rejoice in my happiness. Thank you!!”

Patricia told the Spanish newspaper La Opinión de Tenerife that she does not regret her decision to speak openly about her sexuality. “[I do not] regret what I did because I’m happy with what is going on in my life,” she told the publication.

In another interview with the Costa Rican newspaper La Nación, Rodriguez explained that she and Cortez met last year, and have been dating for six months.

Rodriguez said that she hopes that by her coming out she will help others who feel repressed. “More people will [come out]” she said. “I don’t encourage people to come out. To each their own. What do I want to encourage people who are repressed to do, is to not feel that way. Don’t try to live a double life, to hide. If you don’t want to come clean, don’t share anything [on social media], but don’t hide from yourself.”

Page admits to suffering for years because she was too scared to be out, and felt the weight of the crushing standards of Hollywood. “You have ideas planted in your head that tell you how you have to act, how you have to dress and who you have to be. I have been trying to push back, to be authentic, to follow my heart, but it can be hard,” she says. She went on to celebrate examples of out celebrities that stand as role models, including football player Michael Sam and musicians Tegan and Sara.

Page also commented on the harshness of bullying in the LGBTQ community and how it can effect mental stability: “I know there are people in this room who go to school every day and get treated like shit for no reason. Trying to create that mental picture of what on earth is going to happen to you can crush you a little bit every day. It is toxic and painful and deeply unfair.”

Following her speech, The Human Rights Campaign tweeted out their support for Ellen:

  • Lesbian Waitress Accused Of No Tip Hoax

Dayna Morales, an openly gay woman and former Marine, claims that she was not left a tip while she was waitressing at the Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater New Jersey, because she was a lesbian.

Earlier this month, Morales posted a picture on Facebook (which has since been removed) showing the receipt from a couple she had served that night. The picture showed a line through the tip section and a note that read, “I’m sorry but I cannot tip because I don’t agree with your lifestyle & how you live your life.”

Despite Morales allegations, the couple contacted the press and informed them that they did, in fact, leave a tip and that they had the documentation to prove it. There meal was $93.55 and they claim they left an $18.00 tip. They presented their visa bill that shows that they were charged the amount that included the tip ($111.55) proving that the whole thing was a hoax.

The couple is outraged that they would be in the middle of such a ridiculous hoax, and says they would never say anything like that. “We’ve never not left a tip when someone gave good service, and we would never leave a note like that,” the wife said. The husband says that he supports gay marriage and that he didn’t vote for the Governor, Chris Christie, because he didn’t support it. “Never would a message like that come from us,” he said.

They came forward after hearing that Morales was receiving tips from all over the world. “I just felt like people have a right to know that — it’s fine if people want to donate to her or to the Wounded Warriors, but they’re doing it under a false pretense,” the wife said.

Even with the proof that she was lying, Morales is still standing by her story. “I don’t know, all I know is what I’ve been saying,” Morales told the press. The restaurant is aware of the incident but has not released a statement until they complete their investigation.

I don’t have to, I don’t need to, I just shut down the emotional life.”

  • Sara Gilbert Reveals Secret on “The Talk”

Sara Gilbert Reveals Secret on “The Talk”

The former “Roseanne” star and child actress says that she struggled with her sexuality for years before officially coming out in 2010 after dating actor, Johnny Galecki.

Gilbert is now a co-host on the television show, “The Talk”. All throughout the week, the hosts have been sharing their most personal secrets. On Monday, Sharon Osbourne admitted to, what she called, a “flingy wingy” with Jay Leno at the young age of 25; On Tuesday, Aisha Tyler discussed struggling with fertility, and Wednesday, Julie Chen discussed her eye surgery she underwent to change her Asian look. Then, on Thursday, Gilbert openly talked about being a lesbian.

Galecki co-starred with Gilbert on “Roseanne”, playing her boyfriend and then eventually her husband. The two started dating while still filming the show. “I thought he was super cute and had a total crush on him,” she said, “and we started dating and he would come over and we would make out and then I would start to get depressed.”

At first, Galecki took the rejection personally, until Gilbert explained to him that she thought she may be a lesbian. At that point, Galecki said that he completely supported her and has stood by her through the major transition she was going through. He even kept her secret when she started dating a woman.

“He was super sweet about it,” Gilbert said. ”I started dating a woman who was like 18 years older than I was. No one knew at the show for years and Johnny held the secret the whole time and I just felt like always so scared if it came out, what could happen? Could I lose my career?”

Gilbert called Galecki when she decided to go public with her secret, and once again Galecki was their to support her in any way possible.

“The story sort of starts with you,” Gilbert told him, “and you know I’ve got to say that I made out with you and got depressed, which is kind of a bummer! And he was like ‘Yeah, no, of course and I love you and I think it’s really important. I’m so proud of you.’” she said. ”He said, ‘If you want, I’ll be there and hold your hand.’ I just thought that was so sweet.”

Gilbert is now engaged to be married to musician, Linda Perry. However, she still says that she struggles when talking about her sexuality publicly. “I talk about my sexuality on the show or in public I still feel really scared. So I’ll try and act confident or I’ll make jokes about it, but there’s still a piece of me that goes ‘Well, what is this costing me in my career?”

“I want people to know there can still be a struggle with it and that’s okay,” Gilbert said. “It’s a process and there can be a part of you that doesn’t want to feel different or feel scared.”

  • Lesbian Couple Can’t Cohabitate, Rules Texas Judge

The clause could be side-stepped if the woman were to be married to the “romantic partner,” but gay marriage is not yet legal in the state of Texas.

Compton’s partner, Paige Price, has been ordered to move out of the home they share within 30 days, or Compton faces losing custody of her two daughters, ages 10 and 13. Compton’s husband reportedly wanted the divorce clause enforced for the “benefit” of the children.
