  • Lea Michelle Celebrates Big Milestone With Beau

Lea Michelle and her boyfriend, Matthew Paetz, are celebrating one year together this week, and the former Glee actress shared some sweet photos on Instagram to commemorate the occasion.

Michelle and Paetz met on the set of her music video “On My Way”, one year after she lost boyfriend and former costar Cory Monteith. The couple later moved in together and have shared moments from their relationship on social media.

“They are really happy and they make a great team,” a source told People.

The duo are often spotted hiking together in the hills that surround L.A. and aren’t shy about showing affection when they’re out in public, such as when they attended a Justin Timberlake concert last fall.

“They were super sweet and affectionate, taking selfies together and hanging out with a group of friends,” a source said.

Michelle spoke recently about what it meant to her to spend time with the Glee cast as the show came to an end earlier this year, saying that certain performances will always stand out to her when she thinks back to old episodes.

“I will always remember the pilot episode. Singing “Don’t Stop Believing” with the original kids. That will be forever frozen in my mind. Everything from then on was just this whole sort of spinning,” she said.

    This guys pretty great too…

Although Glee just wrapped as a series, Michelle isn’t taking a break; she’ll appear next on American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy’s new show, Scream Queens.

“My character is so different than anything you’ve ever seen me do before. You won’t see me or Rachel Berry anywhere in there…When I went on my first day, no one even recognized me. This is like my Charlize Theron in Monster moment,” Lea Michelle told Entertainment Tonight.

  • Lea Michelle Says Music Helped Her Heal

Since her boyfriend Cory Monteith passed away in July of 2013, actress and singer Lea Michele has been healing pretty much in front of our eyes, and she’s openly discussed exactly what Monteith meant to her and how difficult it’s been for her to move on.

One of the ways Michelle has been trying to push forward is through her music, as she’s been heavily promoting the release of her album Louder, which features the tribute song to Monteith “If You Say So.”

But the first step towards healing through music for Michelle is when she first heard the song “Cannonball,” the album’s first single. After hearing it for the first time she knew it was the perfect song to get her back on track, which is why she made it the first song on the album.

“I just literally keeled over,” said Michele. “Grief is a very scary thing, and there comes a point where it can really take you down…..When I heard “Cannonball” it lifted me up. It was what I needed to get through my difficult situation.”

In addition, the Bronx born Michelle said it was difficult for her to speak about Monteith publicly after he passed because it was so personal, but at the same time she knew their fans wanted to know how she was doing.

“A lot of people don’t know how to touch this situation,” said Michelle. “It’s like walking on eggshells. It puts it all out there. It’s really hard, we’re not denying that it’s hard, and we’re not gonna get through it….I really hope it helps people the way it helps me.”

And Michelle said she’s learned to take advantage of everything life has to offer, and although she’s heard this advice countless times before, she’s just now starting to follow suit.

“If I’ve learned anything from this past year it’s that you have one life,” said the Glee actress. ” I didn’t really understand what that meant until recently. You have to live your life to the fullest and you have to love as hard as you can love.”

  • Skylar Astin Is Set To Guest Star On Glee

Skylar Astin Is Set To Guest Star On Glee

Glee is a show that likes to rack up the amount of guest stars that it features, and has also made a point to include particular actors that have already been seen in musicals before. Skylar Astin is the latest to be added as a guest star, and will appear on the show in the spring.

Astin, the young star, has previously been seen in a production of Spring Awakening, which included Lea Michelle and Jenna Ushkowitz, who are both stars on Glee, showing that he already has chemistry with the cast. He is the latest member of the Spring Awakening cast to be featured on the show, and has a close relationship with Lea Michelle after working together.

Glee is a musical comedy created by Ryan Murphy, which airs on Fox, and also recently received a nomination at the Golden Globes for Best Televsion Series-Musical Or Comedy. In addition to Lea Michelle, the series stars an ensemble cast that has been recognized during multiple award shows, and includes Darren Criss, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, and more.

On the show, Skylar Astin will play Jean-Bapttiste, the leader of Throat Explosion, the competition for New Direction at Nationals. He will join Phoebe Strole and Johnathan Groff, who are both new members on the show.

Whether he knew the two other co-stars already is unknown, but he seems to be getting close with Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet already, as the news was revealed via Darren Criss’ Instagram, after the three of them posted a selfie together.

The decision to cast Skylar Astin in the show comes after Lea Michelle continued to campaign for him, and has done so for several seasons. Lea Michelle, who plays Rachel on the show, said of Astin, “I’m his biggest fan, he’s one of my best friends, and I couldn’t be happier for him and his success. He’s amazing in Pitch Perfect. The minute I can get him on Glee, I want him on the show.” After trying to several seasons, she finally got her wish, and will be reunited with her friend for an episode of Glee.

In addition to Spring Awakening, Astin has been seen in the hit film Pitch Perfect, and a few other films, as well as an episode of HBO’s Girls. He is currently a star on TBS’ Ground Floor.

Skylar Astin will appear on an episode of the show that airs in March of 2014.

  • Lea Michelle: “Baby Bump” Rumor Means She’s Made It

When you make your living in Hollywood, chances are pretty good that everyone with access to the internet wants to know who you’re dating, how long you’ve been dating them, how you met, when you’re getting married, and whether or not you’ve consummated the relationship (not necessarily in that order). Which brings us to the most important question ever asked regarding a female celebrity: Is she pregnant? Is she pregnant?

When Glee star Lea Michelle was seen in public wearing looser-than-normal clothes and carrying a huge purse, rumors immediately began to fly that she was hiding a “baby bump” (perhaps one of the most detestable terms ever invented by our generation). Of course, Michelle just laughed off the idea and announced on Twitter that she had finally “made it” in the business now that everyone wants to know what’s happening with her uterus.
