  • Lauren Silverman, Simon Cowell, and Son Asleep As Burglars Break Into London Home

Lauren Silverman, Simon Cowell, and their baby boy, Eric, were all asleep in their London home during the wee hours of Friday morning when burglars broke in.

The Guardian reports that Metropolitan police responded to a call for a burglary in progress. By the time they arrived at Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman’s home, the suspects were gone.

Missing in the incident are cash belonging to both parties and jewelry belonging to Lauren Silverman.

This isn’t the first time Simon Cowell has been the victim of a burglary either. Back in 2011, this same home was burglarized and a woman was found hiding inside a walk-in closet. She was armed with a brick when discovered.

“She had smashed her way in through the window and it was unclear how long she had been there or what she was doing,” a rep for Simon Cowell said at the time.

Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman will no doubt be traveling to L.A. with little Eric very soon. Ryan Seacrest said in a recent interview with E! News that all former American Idol judges will return for the final season of the show, set to air in January.

“We will have the former judges back,” Seacrest said. “The plan is to have all of them back. They’ve all considered it and I think are enthusiastic about coming back and saluting the show.”

Hopefully Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman hire some extra vigilant security people to guard their home while they’re in the U.S.

Can you imagine how frightening it must have been for Lauren Silverman and Simon Cowell to learn someone was inside their home while they were sleeping? This scenario could have ended with far more than cash and jewelry lost.

  • Simon Cowell Dishes About Upcoming “America’s Got Talent” Gig, Son Eric Steals the Show

Simon Cowell sat down for an interview with Extra’s Terri Seymour recently to dish on his upcoming gig on America’s Got Talent. The American Idol alum has announced he will replace Howard Stern as a judge on the next season of the show. Stern announced last season that it would be his last.

20-month-old Eric Cowell was on hand for his daddy’s interview, and loved stealing the show. The little boy was teasing both Seymour and his father with a carrot Simon Cowell had given him as a snack.

“That’s my boy!” Simon Cowell said to Seymour. “When he just wants something, he’s like me. He says it over and over again.”

Something Simon Cowell had been wanting for a while was to serve as a judge on America’s Got Talent. Howard Stern’s exit was perfect timing.

“We’ve been talking about it for a few years, funny enough, me and NBC,” he said. ‘This year…everything worked. So it was perfect.”

Seymour questioned if perhaps fatherhood has made Simon Cowell a more understanding judge. Surely everyone remembers how harsh he was at times as an American Idol judge.

“I’m not going to lie to people when I think they’re hopeless, I just couldn’t do that!” he said. “But no, of course I’m not going to be rude for the sake of being rude. That would be ridiculous. I’ll take it act by act.”

It sounds like maybe fatherhood has softened the curmudgeonly British chap. Could you imagine Simon Cowell having had the patience to humor a child–back in his early American Idol days?

That would have been a frightening situation–for all involved.

Lauren Silverman is little Eric Cowell’s mom. She and Simon Cowell learned they were expecting while Silverman was still married to one of Simon Cowell’s best friends.

  • Lauren Silverman Throws Birthday Bash For Simon Cowell In London

New York socialite Lauren Silverman paid tribute to her man recently by organizing an advanced birthday bash for him in London. Silverman’s boyfriend, music mogul Simon Cowell, is celebrating his 55th birthday on October 7, but she decided to throw a party for him last Sunday at Chelsea restaurant Scalini in London.

Silverman decided to leave her baby with Cowell, seven-month-old Eric, at home so they could have a date night out with Cowell’s celebrity friends. She and the birthday celebrant posed for photographers, arm-in-arm, before heading into the restaurant for the party.

Among the friends Silverman invited to the bash were Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams and his wife Lara Stone, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Louis Walsh and Sinitta. Also in attendance at Silverman’s party were Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and her new husband Jean-Bernard, whom an eyewitness said looked “incredibly loved-up.”

There were a few speeches made that night that spiced up Silverman’s party for Cowell. Walliams reportedly “confessed” that he had a secret gay relationship with Cowell. He joked that Eric was a cover for their relationship, according to a source at the party. “He said he couldn’t believe the lengths Simon would go to in having a baby to cover up their relationship,” said the source.

Another person to make a speech was Cowell’s ex-girlfriend, Sinitta. Her speech was reportedly a little more serious, touching upon the fact Cowell was her best friend. The singer also reportedly praised Silverman but also admitted that she used to be jealous of her.

“[Sinitta] said she is happy that she is friends with Lauren and has been for some time, adding that Lauren is now also one of her best friends. She also said how much she loves Eric,” said a source.

The following day, Walliams couldn’t help tweeting about the party and referring to his comedic tribute speech for Cowell. He tweeted, “Loved seeing @Amanda_Holden & @AleshaOfficial at @SimonCowell ‘s birthday last night. Sadly after my speech I won’t be invited back on BGT.”

  • Simon Cowell Gets Lost in Search of Colonic

Simon Cowell got a bit mixed up recently when he entered a reflexology center seeking a different sort of treatment–a colonic. Yes, the X Factor mogul and former American Idol judge regularly has his insides flushed out via a hose-like device inserted in his–well, you get the picture. How lovely for the person who gets to administer such a procedure–eyeballing Simon Cowell’s nether regions as they stick the tube in for a good cleansing.

The people in the reflexology center apparently snickered a bit before pointing Cowell in the right direction–which was apparently just a couple of doors down.

“Am I in the right place for a colonic?” Cowell reportedly asked, with a source adding, “He took a look around, checking out the foot maps. Staff disguised snickers when he then asked about his colonic appointment.”

“One quietly pointed out he was in a reflexology clinic and the place he needed was up the road,” a source adds. The staff likely enjoyed a few more laughs at poor Simon’s expense as he walked over to the proper establishment.

He left and enjoyed a few other ‘treatments’ at the spa where he received his colonic. Simon apparently enjoyed a hand waxing (do you suppose he has exceedingly hairy knuckles?) and a–wait for it–sheep placenta facial. Yes, you read that correctly. How disgusting does that sound? Of course for someone who regularly undergoes the flushing out of his bottom by an ‘expert’ it’s probably not so far off the spectrum.

Simon Cowell and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman are parents to a four-month old baby boy named Eric. Cowell supposedly doesn’t change diapers. Do you suppose that parenting stipulation–and his love of colonics–indicates a serious fear of fecal matter? Are there more serious issues at hand (or behind, as the case may be) here?

Hopefully all of Simon Cowell’s problems have been flushed out and waxed off for the moment and he is feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Some people really do swear by the health benefits of colonics. And then other people–well, they like to snicker along with the staff at the reflexology spa and imagine–if only for a few seconds–how one must look when undergoing such a procedure.

  • Simon Cowell Shares Pics Of His Baby Boy

Simon Cowell and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman received the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift this year.

On February 14, 2014, the couple welcomed their first child, a son, Eric, whose full name is Eric Selig Phillip Cowell, after Simon’s father who passed away in 1999. “I look at him, Eric, and I think of my Dad all the time, so it’s a really good thing,” Simon said, during an interview with Extra.

Simon shared the news of his son’s birth, via Twitter, and later added several photos of his new pride and joy. Now, nearly three months later, Simon is, once again, sharing photos of his little man.

Simon first informed his followers that Eric was happy and healthy, and then he proceeded to share a series of three pictures. The first shows Eric laying in Lauren’s lap wearing a striped onesie and covered in a blanket.

The second picture shows little Eric holding himself up, leaning against the back of the couch. There is no denying that Eric resembles his father, and it appears that Simon thinks so too. He captioned the photo by saying: “Very handsome like his dad.”

The third, and final, picture showed Lauren holding Eric, with them staring into each other’s eyes. Simon simply captioned this photo by saying: “Mum and Eric.”

Many people were skeptical about how Simon would handle the responsibilities of fatherhood; however, Simon said he was born to be a father. “I held him within five minutes of him being born,” Simon said. “I actually said to Lauren beforehand, ‘What if I like the dogs more than him?’ And she said, ‘You’re gonna be absolutely fine.’ And then literally within seconds of him being born, I got it!” He added: “I was born to be a dad!”

  • Simon Cowell Regrets Affair With Lauren Silverman

Simon Cowell and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman welcomed their baby boy Eric in February 2014. While Cowell is elated to be a father, he admits that he regrets the way that his relationship with Silverman started.

Simon met Lauren through one of his best friends Andrew Silverman. Simon and Lauren’s friendship soon turned into an affair, resulting in her divorce from Andrew. “I regret that part [the affair],” Cowell told Mirror . “But then of course you have a baby and you look at the baby and you kind of go, ‘This is what happened from it. … It is not something I am proud of or wanted to happen in terms of hurting anyone. It just happened.”

Simon, Lauren, and baby Eric are currently living together in Simon’s West London home. He said that he has manned up and taken responsibility for his actions, but feels that the affair led to a better life for him. “You have to deal with it and man up to it. You have to accept the responsibility and the criticism,” Cowell explained. “My life has changed, but I am probably more focused on what I am doing now than I was a year ago. Maybe because it puts things in perspective having two people in my life who I am responsible for. … Now the house is full of people, it has become a home rather than a house.”

Simon says that he and Lauren share many common interests and credits her with giving him his “mojo” back. “The great thing about Lauren is she loves what I do, so she sits in if I am watching Britain’s Got Talent for example, and she has got a good opinion. And I seem to have got my mojo back again.”

The X Factor will not be returning to Fox so Simon is focusing the majority of his attention on his new family and the competitive television show Britain’s Got Talent.

  • Lauren Silverman: Simon Cowell Finally Addresses Affair

Lauren Silverman’s baby daddy Simon Cowell is just now talking publicly about their affair that not only tore apart Lauren and Andrew Silverman’s marriage, but also resulted in the birth of Lauren Silverman and Simon Cowell’s son Eric. He is just now discussing the origins of their relationship.

Cowell says he regrets betraying Andrew Silverman, who was also his close friend.

“But then of course you have a baby and you look at the baby and you kinda go, ‘This is what happened from it.’ In this situation you are not going to come out of this well because of the circumstances,” he said during a recent interview.

“It is not something I am proud of or wanted to happen in terms of hurting anyone. It just happened. You have to deal with it and man up to it. You have to accept the responsibility and the criticism. All I can say is, my advice to you is if it happens to you, you just have to deal with it a day at a time and own up to your responsibilities,” he added.

Eric Cowell was born on Valentine’s Day of this year and is named after Cowell’s father. He is Simon Cowell’s first child and the second for Lauren Silverman. She has a 7-year-old son with Andrew Silverman.

It definitely sounds like Silverman and Cowell are very compatible.

“The great thing about Lauren is she loves what I do, so she sits in if I am watching Britain’s Got Talent for example, and she has got a good opinion,” Cowell says. “And I seem to have got my mojo back again.”

Fans speculate about whether Eric will be Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman’s only child together.

I wouldn’t rule anything out,” he says. “From here on in I am not predicting anything. The important thing this year is we have fun with what we are doing.”

And what about making an honest woman of Lauren Silverman?

    “Wait and see,” he teases.

Do you think Simon Cowell will ever tie the knot with Lauren Silverman or will she forever be the mistress–part of the former marriage that he helped wreck?

  • Lauren Silverman: Simon Cowell Opens Up About Affair

Grumpy reality show judge Simon Cowell has done a pretty good job of keeping the details of his recent love affair a secret, because once word got out that he was involved with his best friend’s wife, Lauren Silverman, he’s kept his mouth pretty much shut.

But now he’s opening up a bit, as he spoke to the British tabloid the Mirror about the affair, and he also spoke about being a dad for the first time.

Cowell said although he’s thrilled a baby came out of the relationship, he regrets how he met the mother of his child.

“I regret that part,” he said. “But then of course you have a baby and you look at the baby and you kind of go, ‘This is what happened from it’….It is not something I am proud of or wanted to happen in terms of hurting anyone. It just happened.”

Of course this isn’t the first time Cowell has been in the press for the women he’s dated, as he’s been in relationships with some pretty well-known folks like Terri Seymour and Jackie St. Clair, and when it comes to receiving criticism about his personal life, the 54-year-old says he has no problem with it.

Additionally, Cowell says being a dad has changed his life completely, and he alluded to the fact that his life was a bit empty before his child was born, but now it feels full and complete.

“You have to deal with it and man up to it,” he said. “You have to accept the responsibility and the criticism. My life has changed, but I am probably more focused on what I am doing now than I was a year ago. Maybe because it puts things in perspective having two people in my life who I am responsible for…Now the house is full of people. It has become a home rather than a house.”

  • Simon Cowell Shares Pics Of New Baby

Simon Cowell is a proud new papa, and he is not afraid to show it.

On Friday, February 14, 2014, Simon’s girlfriend Lauren Silverman gave birth to their baby boy … the perfect Valentine’s Day gift.

Simon shared the news, via Twitter, announcing that baby Eric was born at 17.45pm. He added that Eric was “healthy and handsome.” “Lauren in great shape. Thanks for all of your kind messages … Named after my dad,” he later added.

Simon immediately flew to New York when he found out that Lauren had gone into labor. He was by her side the entire time to welcome his son into the world.

“He is such a proud dad and they are completely obsessed. It was an incredible and emotional day for them both,” a source revealed. “Simon was amazing and was by Lauren’s side the entire time. There were very happy tears from everyone, including Simon.”

On Sunday, February 16, Simon, again, took to Twitter to share the first photos of the newest addition to his family. He shared three different black and white photos of Mum and Dad doting over their son.

“Mum, Dad and Eric. Now two days old,” he captioned the first photo.

“…now you can see how very handsome little Eric is,” Simon captioned the photo, a close up of baby Eric.

The last picture shows Simon holding Eric close to his chest. He captioned it by saying: “I never knew how much love and pride I would feel.”

    Congratulations to the happy couple!

  • Simon Cowell: It’s A Boy for the ‘X-Factor’ Mogul

Simon Cowell is now the proud father of a baby boy–and he’s not a “Simon, Jr.” as some reports had previously stated. Eric Cowell was born on Valentine’s Day at 5:45 P.M. in New York City. He weighed in at a healthy 6 pounds and 7 ounces. He is named after Simon Cowell’s father.

“Lauren is doing great. Her parents are there, along with Simon of course,” PEOPLE magazine reports. “They are so excited. Everyone is thrilled. They couldn’t be happier. The baby is gorgeous.”

Fans were shocked to learn back in July that Simon Cowell and one of his best friend’s wives–Lauren Silverman–were expecting a baby together. Lauren and Andrew Silverman finalized their divorce this past December. They have an 8-year-old son.

“It was kind of uncomfortable. You know, the situation. But these things happen and everything is kind of calm now and I’m happy,” Simon Cowell told Ellen DeGeneres shortly after the news became public knowledge.

Even though Cowell knew Silverman was pregnant, he claims he first realized he was going to actually become a father when he first viewed his son on an ultrasound scan.

“You literally see this thing which is now alive moving around. I feel very paternal right now,” he said following the ultrasound.

SImon Cowell admits he has had to make lots of changes in his home in preparation for his son’s arrival.

“There are a lot of boring things that happen when you have a baby. [You have to get rid of] sharp edges, cigarettes, alcohol … then there’s [baby-proofing] the toilet. But I’ll have a smoking room!” he joked, right around the same time Lauren Silverman was being showered with baby gifts by friends and family members.

Simon was one very excited father when announcing the news of his son’s birth.

He was also quick to thank friends and family members–and likely some fans, too–for their congratulations and well wishes, and to say that the mother of his child is doing well.

And following the announcement of his and Lauren Silverman’s choice of a name for their son, Simon Cowell tweeted the following.

So far it seems like fatherhood is treating Simon Cowell well. It will certainly be interesting to see in the coming weeks and months how the former American Idol judge and current X-Factor U.K. judge takes his new role.

  • Simon Cowell and Girlfriend Lauren Silverman Welcome First Child

Simon Cowell probably received the best Valentine’s Day gift he’s ever had! He officially became a first-time father! On Friday, Feb. 14, at exactly 5:45pm, the X-Factor host’s girlfriend Lauren Silverman gave birth to a baby boy in New York City.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the baby, who weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz, was named Eric after Cowell’s father.

The elated talent competition judge took to Twitter to share the news with his 9.41M followers.

He offered a series of tweets announcing the birth of the child. He also gave a brief updating saying that both Silverman and the baby were doing fine.

His heartwarming tweets definitely gave fans a glint of his softer side, as opposed to his famously dour demeanor often shown on television. However, it’s not the first time he’s revealed his feelings.

Back in September, Cowell shared his sentiments about becoming a father. He even admitted that he was “excited” about the fast-approaching new chapter in his life.

“I am good with kids, because I like kids,” Cowell said during an interview with BBC One’s Breakfast morning show. “I really do like them, and I listen to them.”

Cowell was also asked how he reacted to receiving the news of becoming a father. He did admit that the news took time to sink in, but once it did he was very excited.  “Once I got used to it, I did get excited. … I think I will be a good dad, so I’m excited now.”

However, he’s made it clear that any form of diaper duty will be out of the question. The 54-year-old A&R executive just didn’t sign up for that part of the domesticated role!

“I’m not doing that. I wouldn’t do that — 100 percent absolutely not going near that,” he said.

The news of the baby’s birth comes just one week after Fox and Sony Music Entertainment announced the cancellation of the Cowell’s American version of X-Factor. The show, which premiered on Sept. 21, 2011, ran for three seasons with 80 episodes. Although the show received exceptional ratings during its first season, it suffered a gradual decline in viewership over the second and third seasons due to the substantial competition with NBC’s The Voice.

  • Simon Cowell to Serve As Judge for UK ‘X Factor’

Simon Cowell has one less thing to do now that The X Factor is done and over with in the United States. The music mogul will remain busy despite the big hit to his pride and his pocketbook. He will serve as one of the judges on the U.K. version of The X Factor.

Despite the addition of coaches like Britney Spears and Demi Lovato, The X Factor simply couldn’t get enough viewers in the U.S. to keep the show on the air. This, in some ways, works well for Simon Cowell, as he has wanted to return to the U.K. show for some time now.

“The UK show needs him this year especially after losing out to Strictly last year,” a TV source said of the show losing out in the ratings to the BBC s’ Strictly Come Dancing. “Simon is incredibly competitive and this show is Simon’s baby. There’s a certain magic for Simon on this show because this is where it all started for him – so it was always going to be his priority.”

Despite Cowell’s often emotionless demeanor, he did express a taste of the bittersweet in a tweet he shared with his followers this week.

Do you suppose Simon’s baby mama, Lauren Silverman, will join him in the U.K. or will she–and Simon’s baby–continue to live stateside instead? And who else will sit at the judge’s table with the curmudgeonly Brit? Lots of questions remain unanswered right now.

“The other three seats are a long way from being decided so far. But everyone knows Simon attracts a higher calibre of singers to audition. Contestants have seen what he has done for Leona Lewis and One Direction as well as artists like Olly Murs and Cher Lloyd. They know he can spot real star potential,” the source adds.

Simon Cowell is due to become a dad on February 28th. His baby–a son–will reportedly be named Simon, Jr. How do you suppose fatherhood will figure in with returning as a judge on The X Factor in the U.K.?

Cowell will certainly be an interesting man to watch throughout the next few months, with all these new twists and turns in his life. How do you suppose he will handle them all?

  • Simon Cowell: Is He Daddy Material?

Simon Cowell: Is He Daddy Material?

Simon Cowell will soon be jumping head-on into fatherhood, and some people might be wondering if the X Factor judge has what it takes to make a good dad. While enjoying a babymoon in Barbados with pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman, Simon was spotted chatting it up with an adorable baby boy, who somehow managed to get the stone faced Brit to smile.

Lauren Silverman is due to give birth to her and Simon Cowell’s baby within the next few weeks, and her large baby bump does absolutely nothing to hide that fact. Although she had it draped in a modest swimsuit cover-up, it was plain to see she’ll soon deliver. Silverman celebrated her baby shower earlier in December at Simon Cowell’s home back in L.A. Two of Cowell’s exes–Terri Seymour and Mezhgan Hussainy–were both in attendance.

The couple is expecting a baby boy, and shower guests arrived laden with all sorts of clothing, stuffed animals, books and baby gear and toys.

So what will Simon and Lauren name their little bundle of joy?

“I’m not going to say what it is yet, but I’m happy,” he told E! back in November. “You’ll have to wait and see!”

Fans will no doubt be watching and eagerly awaiting the announcement that Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman’s baby has arrived. It will definitely be interesting to see what kind of father the TV producer is. Hopefully his interaction with that baby on the beach is a strong sign of what’s to come.

  • Simon Cowell & Lauren Silverman Spotted Together

X Factor judge, Simon Cowell originally avoided questions about his personal life and the fact that he was having a baby with Lauren Silverman. But now the two have stepped out into the spotlight together for the first time since the world found out that he was a soon-to-be father.

At the X Factor TCA panel on August 1, Cowell was congratulated by reporters for the pregnancy, and he attempted to play it off as though he didn’t know what they were talking about.

He told reporters: “Am I missing something? Unfortunately, I have to keep this for the moment private. It’s just one of those things. But thank you very much anyway.” He later added: “I would love to talk, but I have to respect a lot of people’s feelings right now. There are a lot of things I will eventually clear up when the time is right, but I really have to be sensitive because there’s a lot of people’s feelings involved here.”

However, since Silverman’s divorce, from Andrew Silverman, was finalized on August 14, the two no longer have to keep their love and pregnancy a secret and have been spotted out and about together for the first time. A source close to the lovebirds said: “They are definitely a couple. The relationship is loving and they’re very happy together.”

The photographs were taken as they enjoyed a walk in the South of France on Friday, August 2. Silverman’s due date is in February, and you can now see her growing baby bump in the photos.

Cowell’s thoughts on being a daddy? “I’m happy and excited,” Cowell told Us on Aug. 20 at the One Direction movie premier. “It’s a great time in my life,” he added.
