  • Lark Voorhies Lupus Claims Are Just Latest In A Long Line Of Fake Instagram Posts

Lark Voorhies does not, in fact, have Lupus.

Recently, Lark Voorhies has appeared to make several heavy-hitting Instagram posts in which she claimed several crazy things ranging from a battle with Lupus to her ex-husband’s bad-smelling, um, man bits.

Lark Voorhies now claims that she doesn’t even have an Instagram account, but knows of several fake ones that have been making wild posts.

A rep for Lark Voorhies said of the Lupus claims, “Lark has never been diagnosed with Lupus. It’s upsetting her that people are coming out about it. She doesn’t want to be perceived as someone faking an illness.”

The post takes the form of a Dear (insert whatever or whomever) letter, and begins, “Dear Lupus, You came uninvited like the thief you are. You invaded my body and my life silently and you have no mercy. You have stolen my life’s work, my health, my vision of myself.”

It continues, “You tear at my relationships with relentless teeth rending and damaging wherever and whenever you can.”

Lark Voorhies supposed posts go on to describe herself as a warrior, fighter and unwilling to be defined by the disease, etc, etc.

Other presumed fake posts decry her relationship with her ex, Jimmy Green, whom she was married to for only a matter of months.

To whom this may concern. I am single! Jimmy couldn't fork up a dime for our divorce. There's an active restraining order that he continues to violate. No sex tape even physically exists. Do you really think he could afford a camera? I gave him money multiple times and put minutes on his Obama phone. You better take a U-Turn on that bus. Everyone in Pasadena knows you're a joke. Gang Member? You lost your job at Taco Bell. Your penis is NOTHING to brag about! Is it normal for a penis to smell like corn chips? I chose to not be in the spotlight. I am an amazing author (3 Books on Amazon) and I am currently working on a short film that I wrote & directed and putting the final touches on my highly anticipated album! I'm too busy to interact with you bugaboos. Take care and god bless! LV

Does it seem like Lark Voorhies could be that harsh? I mean, that last bit about his manhood…that’s vicious.

What do you think about all the recent fake profiles and posts that claim to be Lark Voorhies?

  • Lark Voorhies Says She Did Not Consent To Alleged Sex Tape

Lark Voorhies is best known for her days on the early ’90s television show Saved By The Bell, where she played fashion plate Lisa Turtle. However, these days she prefers to fly under the Hollywood radar and hasn’t been in the spotlight much outside of a few stories in recent years regarding the possibility that she was battling bipolar disorder. Now, though, she’s responding to her ex’s threats to release a sex tape following their split, saying she was never aware of any recording being made.

Lark told People in a statement that she wishes Jimmy Green nothing but good things, but that could change if he follows through on his threats.

“There were irreconcilable differences that we could not overcome. I wish him the best and look forward to moving on with my life. As far as a sex tape I am not aware of nor have I consented to any sex tape or nude recordings,” Lark Voorhies said.

Voorhies reportedly met Green on Facebook last year and the two just married in April, but the problems were there almost from the beginning; Lark’s mom, Patricia, filed a restraining order against him in June after an argument led to him flashing “gang signs” at her.

“They can remain friends, but it’s best they sever their marriage ties. Lark is ready to move forward with her life and wishes him well with his life,” Patricia said.

Meanwhile, Green is insisting that Lark was well aware that she was being recorded and is reportedly shopping the tape around to various media outlets to try and find a high bidder. Voorhies has not commented further on their relationship, or why she filed for divorce after just six months of marriage, other than to say that there were “irreconcilable differences”.

  • Lark Voorhies: ‘Saved by the Bell’ Star Married to Alleged Gang Member, Mom Gets Restraining Order

Lark Voorhies, known best for her role as Lisa Turtle in Saved by the Bell, married alleged gang member Jimmy Green during a secret wedding in Las Vegas back in April, and now her mom, Patricia Voorhies, has taken out a restraining order against him. Lark Voorhies met Jimmy Green on Facebook.

TMZ reports that Jimmy Green is a member of the Bloods, and that he not only throws gang signs at Lark Voorhies’ mom, but has also been living in her home.

Patricia Voorhies claims that ever since marrying Lark Voorhies this past April, Jimmy Green has been sleeping at her home and constantly arguing with her–despite a previous agreement they made about him returning to his own home to sleep at night. Patricia Voorhies recently found Green asleep in her closet, and after waking him up, he allegedly yelled at her.

“You motherf—king woke me up, ain’t that a bitch,” TMZ reports he said to his mother-in-law.

The restraining order states Jimmy Green must stay at least 100 yards away from both Patricia Voorhies and her home. That doesn’t make Patricia feel any better about his marriage to her daughter, however.

She claims Lark Voorhies is in both an emotionally and mentally fragile state.

Lark Voorhies recently addressed her mom’s allegations via her rep.

“We are obviously concerned about the allegations and we are looking into the matter,” Voorhies’ rep Jennifer Wolfson said in a statement to Us Weekly. “Lark feels these allegations are not true and would like this cleared up as soon as possible.”

If Lark Voorhies is truly in an emotionally and mentally fragile state, she is likely being taken advantage of by this gang member. Hopefully the restraining order Patricia Voorhies has taken out on Jimmy Green keeps her safe, however it doesn’t sound like there’s much that can be done to protect Lark unless she admits the truth about her husband.

Are you shocked to learn the Saved by the Bell actress is living in this predicament?

  • Lark Voorhies: Damn, What Happened To Lisa Turtle?

If you’re someone who grew up with Lark Voorhies as Lisa Turtle on Saved By The Bell, then you probably are like me in that you have no idea what to make of her “transformation” in recent years.

One minute she’s absolutely adorable. The next thing any of us know, Voorhies is virtually unrecognizable.

If her bizarre physical transformation weren’t enough, there has been heavy speculation as to her mental health state.

According to the actress’s mother Tricia, she suffers from depression and is bipolar. These are claims that Voorhies herself vehemently denies.

Regardless of how one feels about her mental state, it must be said that Voorhies looks much different than she once did.

Aging cannot be the sole explanation, not in this case.

In her recent appearance at the Where We Started movie premiere, it was hard not to notice that Voorhies seemed to be having a problem with her foundation….mainly that it was entirely the wrong color for her skin tone.

Observing Voorhies walking the red carpet looking like she’d suffered severe burns made many scratch their heads. Instead of adding a youthful, clear and even look to her face, makeup fail served to make the 40-year-old actress look closer to 60.

The “overly burnt” look witnessed in video and photographs is a contrast (and not a good one) to another rare appearance where many commented on Voorhies’s seemingly bleached skin and almost grayish features.

Could this have been her way of combating skin bleaching rumors?

While fans would certainly love to see more of the reclusive actress, we hope whoever is responsible for her makeup will choose colors more carefully in the future.

  • Lark Voorhies’ Appearance Brings Back Mental Illness Rumors

Lark Voorhies shot to stardom in the late ’80s as Lisa Turtle on the hit sitcom Saved By The Bell, and has had continuous television and movie roles since the show ended in 1993. But in the last few years, her public appearances have been marred by odd interviews and questionable behavior, and rumors began circulating online in 2012 that she was suffering from a bipolar disorder. Now, after a turn on the red carpet for the film Where We Started, the rumor mill is starting back up again, and some are upset that the negative media attention for her appearance is downplaying the fact that there might be something seriously wrong with the beloved former child actress.

Voorhies’ appearance on the red carpet–with what several online news sources are calling “bizarre” makeup–has led to her supporters taking to Twitter to voice concern for her and the way she is being treated. While the actress denies suffering from any mental illness, her mother, Tricia, said in 2012 that she had been diagnosed with a bipolar disorder and was dealing with things that had happened to her.

“There are things that have traumatized her,” said Tricia. “I care deeply about my daughter and I want her to resume her life.”

Around that same time, People Magazine said Voorhies gave them an odd interview in which she would often stop in mid-sentence to stare into space and mumble to people who weren’t there.

“I have a strong spiritual sense,” Voorhies said in response. “You caught me in moments of pray [sic].” So go ahead and pick a side. It shouldn’t be hard.”

Voorhies is all over Twitter today as some wonder “what happened” to the former ’90s star and others hope for her to be able to turn things around.

  • Lark Voorhies: Bipolar, Or Just “Spiritual”?

Lark Voorhies, former star of the classic sitcom “Saved By The Bell”, surprised many earlier this year when she appeared in a video interview for Yahoo! with a rather different look–which prompted fans to wonder if she’d had plastic surgery–and an odd demeanor, which sent rumors flying that perhaps she was on drugs.

During a recent People Magazine interview, in which Voorhies would often stop in mid-sentence to mumble to no one in particular, the worry that she is battling serious problems began to creep into mainstream media, where accusations of mental illness are flying.

Voorhies’ mother, who lives with her, says her daughter has been diagnosed as bipolar, and that she needs to work through some issues. Voorhies says her mom is just “over-loving” and that she is simply a very spiritual person. About the odd interview, Voorhies said:

“I have a strong spiritual sense. You caught me in moments of pray [sic]. So go ahead and pick a side. It shouldn’t be hard.”

Her mother, however, insists it’s more than that.

“There are things that have traumatized her,” says Tricia. “I care deeply about my daughter and I want her to resume her life.”

Perhaps one of the most disturbing aspects of Voorhies’ foray into spirituality is the rambling, almost incoherent approach she’s taken to writing; the former actress has self-published three books, “Reciprocity”, “Trek Of The Cheshire”, and “True Light”. An excerpt from “True Light” was posted on Gawker recently:

For, ages, we have learned, to, search, for, the, truth, about, life. The, truth, in, regard, to, the, opolous, insight. Facts, ascertaned, according, to, the, willing, advance, of, theme, and, time. Fames, tolled, apart, from, steads. Standards, partrolled, in, union, with, the, ever, held, age, perfection, within, the, stales, of, solution. At, harmony’s length, we, trivail, the, chiefs, of, known, ability, to, prevail, the, pronounce, of, hartmanship.

For now, Voorhies is refusing help on the grounds that she is fine, but her former castmates have apparently spoken to People Magazine about her sudden turn in recent years. The interviews are in the most recent issue of the magazine.
