  • Muppets Most Wanted Poster Debuts

The official movie poster for the new Muppets Most Wanted made its debut today in an Entertainment Weekly exclusive.

Ricky Gervais, one of the film’s co-stars, tweeted back in October:

He plays second-banana to villain and Kermit doppelgänger, Constantine, featured at his most sinister at the bottom, right corner of the poster. As per usual, the cast is a virtual who’s who of legendary Muppets and Hollywood elite: Kermit, Tom Hiddleston, Miss Piggy, Tina Fey, Fozzie, Ty Burrell, Animal and Ray Liotta among others.

The plot, sporting the tagline, “Taking the world by farce,” involves a jewel-heist by dastardly duo Constantine and Gervais, which drags along the Muppets, who are on a world tour. Echoes of The Great Muppet Caper (1981) anyone? The film is considered a follow-up to 2011’s The Muppets. Both are directed by James Bobin, who also has credits directing comedy TV Series’ Flight of the Conchords and Da Ali G Show.

Not involved in this iteration is the writer and (human) star of The Muppets, Jason Segel, who reported to Collider back in 2012 that, “My goal was to bring The Muppets back and I did that leaving them in very good hands, my writing partner and James Bobin the director. I did what I set out to do, and now I wanna pursue more human-related projects (laughs).”

The trailer for the latest Muppets flick was released back in August (re-shown above). The film won’t be out until next March so if you need a Muppet injection beforehand, you can watch the ABC Thanksgiving special, Lady Gaga & the Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular. Gaga will also have a cameo in the Most Wanted.

  • Lady Gaga and R. Kelly Do Sexy Collaboration

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3jzMyYgPQs

Lady Gaga, the weird lady of pop, has done a collaboration with the notable-for-all-the-wrong-reasons R&B singer R. Kelly. The two have come together to create a song entitled ‘Do What You Want’, which will be a component of Gaga’s new album ‘ARTPOP’ which is set to release in November of 2013. Ohh, fans of both the artists are rubbing their hands together for this one.

The provocative music duo gives no less than what one would expect them to give. And the introduction to the track starts off with a tune resembling that of a cheap porno soundtrack, which is absolutely fitting. Promiscuous ingenuity from the start! It gets better from there as it melts into a street beat feel as Gaga comes in singing the verses which lead into the chorus that has Gaga singing “Do what you want with my body.” This might be too easy of a joke to make, but the road must traveled.

With R. Kelly’s history of golden showers, people are uncertain as to whether Gaga should be singing within the vicinity of R. Kelly while uttering the words Do you what you want with my body. Some are thinking that a star like Gaga must be careful not to give Kelly too much license to work in the field of doing things with people’s bodies.

To the slight relief of fans, this collaboration seems to be equally mastered by both artists and no one is given too much sexual power, although Gaga is portraying more of a submissive character in this song, but she does declare that “You don’t own [her] life.” At least she still owns that part of herself.

Eventually R. Kelly chimes in with his little verse… which doesn’t sound like anything special at first, until he says “I could be the green in your blunt.” Well, we knew something illegal would happen here sooner or later.

  • Lady Gaga Finally Settles Lawsuit

    Lady Gaga Finally Settles Lawsuit

Miss Gaga is back from trial.

Lady Gaga has finally settled a lawsuit filed in 2011 by a former assistant who claimed that the “Applause” artist owed her album $400,000 in overtime salary. The suit was for 7,168 extra hours that she said were spent attending Gaga’s every need during her period of employment.

All of the terms of the settlement are being kept secret. Neither of the side’s attorneys have commented either.

The case was scheduled to go to trial in New York on Nov. 4.

Although neither side’s legal teams are speaking, Gaga had a few words of her own to share about her ex-assistant.

“She’s just—she thinks she’s just like the queen of the universe,” she angrily said about plaintiff Jennifer L. O’Neill in a deposition taken in August 2012. “And you know what, she didn’t want to be a slave to one, because in my work and what I do, I’m the queen of the universe every day.”

“You don’t get a schedule,” she reportedly testified. “You don’t get a schedule that is like you punch in and you can play…at your desk for four hours and then you punch out at the end of the day. This is when I need you, you’re available.”

U.S. District Judge Paul G. Gardephe had set a trial date after ruling that being “on call” 24/7, as O’Neill referred to it in her suit, could potentially qualify for overtime compensation.

The attorneys alerted him on Friday that they were close to a settlement.

According to Bloomberg.com, both parties filed a stipulated order informing him that they had settled on an undisclosed amount and requesting a dismissal with prejudice, meaning O’Neill can bring no other wage or overtime-related claims against Gaga.

  • Lady Gaga Cited by Instagram over Safety

Well it’s good to know that Instagram cares about the safety of its users and takes their reports seriously. I’ve heard of people reporting others for social offenses such as spam of extreme vulgarity, but does anyone personally know someone who was reported because followers feared for the life of that individual?

Lady Gaga was smacked with a courtesy alert from Instagram citing the concerns of its members regarding the content she has been posting. Arguably, posting lyric pages with burnt cigarette marks could be alarming. She does seem to reference being “high” frequently but we ca never be sure if she’s referring to a sense of euphoria, the effect of smoking marijuana, or some other cryptic meaning.

It wouldn’t be right to assume she’s having some severe struggles in life based on her frequent use of the word “high”. Let’s face it, from a writer/songwriter’s standpoint, it’s a great word when it comes to rhyming and whatnot. We also have to be fair. Granted Instagram wasn’t around when this particular song debuted, but still, no one made a fuss when James Blunt premiered his single “High” to the world. In fact, it was a complete hit.

Maybe it was the line “each day I cry” that worried some of her over 2 million Instagram followers. With over 40 million followers on Twitter, it’s not unexpected that someone is going to have something to say, and more often than not, something negative.

Sure Gaga’s posted selfies looking tired, but that could be expected by a performer of her caliber. So what she isn’t smothered in makeup looking blissfully disconnected.Gaga has never been one of those “artist” who’s been afraid to strip it all off, makeup, clothing, you name it. Take a look at Gaga’s new album cover for ARTPOP.

Her fans love her because she isn’t afraid to slum it with the rest of us; granted, her slumming it is a bit more glamorous.

With her new album premiering next month, we can assume that Gaga is too excited to be on suicide watch. She loves her fans dearly and I expect she isn’t going anywhere anytime soon; well at least not by her own cause.

  • Lady Gaga Reveals ‘ARTPOP’ Album Artwork

Lady Gaga Reveals ‘ARTPOP’ Album Artwork

Lady Gaga has revealed the eye-popping cover of her upcoming album, “ARTPOP.”

Gaga tweeted the artwork Monday afternoon while digital billboards displayed the album art in 18 cities around the world. There are billboards from Miami to Barcelona.

The pop diva commissioned New York sculptor Jeff Koons to design the artwork. In return, Koons designed a whole new, nude Lady Gaga in which she’s sporting her blonde wig and grabbing her breasts.

Jeff Koons is the talented artis behind the sculpture of Gaga on the cover. The phrase is from her single, “Applause.”

“ARTPOP” arrives on Nov. 11, while “Applause” slips one spot to No. 9 on this week’s Hot 100 chart.

  • Adam Levine Calls out Lady Gaga in Twitter Rant

Maroon 5’s Adam Levine obviously feels some kind of way about the ‘fame monster,’ Lady Gaga. On Friday, Levine allegedly took to Twitter to state his level of disdain in regards to the musicianship and artistry of her craft.

While his insults weren’t blatant, his words were more than enough to raise speculation that he was taking aim at Gaga. Perhaps Gaga’s ‘Little Monsters’ took offense to his rant, and brought it to her attention or she just happened to notice. Either way, ‘Mother Monster’ must have felt the tinge of resentment, as she felt more than obliged to respond.

Levine kicked off his subliminal rant when he tweeted:

Gaga wasted little time responding to Levine’s underlying criticism in a subliminal tweet of her own:

While the low-key rant remained latent, the release of Gaga’s latest video, “Applause” put Levine’s comments into perspective proving his evasive criticism was definitely about her. In the new video, she makes several references to famous works of art including, “The Birth of Venus,” a notable painting by Sandro Botticelli.

It took him a while, but three days later, Levine decided to reply to the 27-year-old “Judas,” singer:

Lady Gaga has yet to tweet another response.

Since this isn’t the first jab taken at Gaga with the same allegation, it’s definitely justifiable for her to be in defense mode. Azealia Banks has also accused the “Bad Romance” singer of stealing the name of Banks’ track entitled, “Red Flame.” Gaga has also been compared to Madonna on a number of occasions, being accused of releasing newer versions of some of Madonna’s old work. Critics have often compared Gaga’s “Born this Way,” to Madonna’s “Express Yourself,” released in 1989. But regardless of what people think, Gaga has a proven track record of success in the music industry. The numbers definitely don’t lie.

  • Selena Gomez Won’t Perform Due To “Anti-Gay’ Visa

Selena Gomez had to cancel a string of European concerts due to conflicts with obtaining a Russian visa. The 21-year-old singer will not be performing at any of the Russian venues previously considered nor will she sing in Belarus and Ukraine. Though she was expected in St. Petersburg and Moscow, both performances have been cancelled as a result of complications stemming from obtaining a visa in lieu of recent anti-gay laws.

Last year, Madonna and Lady Gaga used their performances at Russian concert halls to promote gay rights. Madonna distributed pink ribbons to her concert-goers as a symbol of support for gay pride while Lady Gaga said, “You can be gay in my house,” to those in attendance at her concert.

A representative for Russian Entertainment Academy, who was responsible for organizing the concert, shared the following comment. “Up to the last moment, we thought the problem would be resolved, but it turned out that things aren’t so simple in our country,” the statement read.

John Becker is the man responsible for starting a petition through Change.org to encourage standing up for the rights of the Russian LGBT community members. He wrote the following on Belerico.com in order to further promote the cause. “Russian officials are undoubtedly anxious to avoid a repeat of recent concerts by fellow pop superstars Madonna and Lady Gaga, both of whom violated laws banning so-called ‘gay propaganda’ by making statements in favor of LGBT rights. The Russian government is clearly on edge and aware of the bruising its reputation has taken in the wake of their anti-LGBT crackdown,” he shared on the website.

Reports claim that Selena Gomez was spotted earlier this year at a Los Angeles gay pride festival; however, organizers of the Russian concerts are unlikely to have known about this. Selena appears to have enjoyed her performances even though she was unable to perform in Russia.

  • Lady Gaga Performs ARTPOP Tracks at iTunes Festival

Lady Gaga debuted several new tracks from her upcoming album ARTPOP at the iTunes festival in London today. Performing at the Roundhouse, Gaga committed to debuting an hour to her unreleased album, which will hit stores in November.

Gaga uploaded a YouTube video early last week showing a rehearsal for “Swine,” which she would be performing September 1 at the iTunes festival. Three other tracks from ARTPOP, “Applause,” “Burqa” and “Manicure” had already made their ways to the Internet, though that will likely stop fans from purchasing the new album this fall.

Also performed at the Roundhouse tonight were title track, “ARTPOP,” “Jewels & Drugs,” featuring rapper T.I., “Sex Dreams” and “I Wanna Be With You.” She performed seven new songs at the festival.

Tonight’s performance was Lady Gaga’s first show since her hip surgery in February, and it appears she recuperated well.

Another exciting piece of news for Little Monsters is that her smash hit video “Telephone” with Beyonce, (from her last and third album, The Fame Monster) will be continued on her newest record. She recently told U.K. radio station KISS FM: “I’m very excited to be filming it and doing it. I will say that one of the songs I will be playing at the Roundhouse is meant to be the continuation.”

While the single, “ARTPOP” did not meet expectations on the music charts after its unleashing this week, her single, “Applause” did garner 14.5 million views on VEVO in only one day, setting a new record.

ARTPOP will be released on November 11.

  • Lady Gaga Tweets About Manning’s Sentence

Lady Gaga Tweets About Manning’s Sentence

Facebook and Twitter are blowing up with varying comments on the recent sentencing  of U.S. Army Pfc. Bradley Manning. And it’s become evident that the buzz isn’t dying within the celebrity circle either.

During a recent MTV Video Music Awards prep, pop sensation, Lady Gaga tweeted out a very unhappy text in regards to the sentencing of Manning.

Manning was sentenced to life in prison along with another 21 additional charges. sharing more than 700,000 government files to the website Wikileaks nearly three years ago.

Apparently it’s not only Lady that’s going “Gaga” over the recent sentencing of Manning. Big time musicians from Roger Waters to Moby are even involved in a brand new campaign backing Manning called “I am Bradley Mannning.”

The Campaign which has joined forces with dozens of celebrities and public figures has created a video that simply asks the audience what they would do if they were in Manning’s situation, holding signs that say, “I am Bradley Manning.” Even Pentagon Papers Leaker, Daniel Ellsberg has a small cameo saying, “I was Bradley Manning.”

The video traces along the details of Manning’s trial as well as word-by-word retellings of what he leaked that now has him now behind bars.

While the campaign video hasn’t exactly gone viral, Gaga’s original tweet has certainly done well with 4,620 retweets and a whopping 3,065 people marking it as a favorite.

Gaga’s known for the dramatic flair so perhaps she’ll make a statement about the Manning sentencing at her opening performance of the 2013 MTV Music Video Awards this Sunday? Stay tuned.

  • Lady Gaga Premieres New Video In Times Square

After forcing out her new single “Applause” a week early due to a string of low-quality leaks, Lady Gaga released the video today with a bang, debuting it on several big screens in Times Square.

“DUE TO HACKERS AN ABUNDANCE OF LOW/HIGH QUALITY LEAKS . . . WE ISSUE THIS POP MUSIC EMERGENCY . . . MONSTERS SPREAD THE WORD,” the popstar tweeted last week. “MY NEW SINGLE ‘APPLAUSE’ IS OUT TODAY AND CAN BE HEARD ON UNITED STATES RADIO IN 15 MINUTES. INTERNATIONAL RADIO TO FOLLOW.”

The song is the first single off her new album Artpop and was an emotional one for the singer to release this morning because she says she hasn’t seen her fans in a long time. “Applause” is the first new music she’s put out in two years.

  • Lady Gaga Gets Naked to Promote Artist Marina Abramovic’s New Kickstarter Project

In the art world, Marina Abramović is known as one of, if not the, premier performance artist around – but she’s gained a new level of popularity in the past few years thanks to her ambitious performance piece “The Artist Is Present,” which saw the artist sit still and quiet for 736 hours over the course of 2 and a half months as MoMA patrons came and sat across from her in a giant white room. The 2010 performance was the subject of a recent HBO documentary.

She also popped up on Jay-Z’s performance piece “Picasso Baby,” and has launched a new Kickstarter project to build a new kind of art museum and learning space called the Marina Abramović institute. It’s this Kickstarter that provides the context (if one can call it contextual) for this undeniably bizarre video featuring Lady Gaga.

Part promotion for the MAI Kickstarter, part Lady Gaga doing something to get people talking, the Institute has just released a video of Gaga practicing the “Abramovic Method.” If you were wondering, that’s described as “a series of exercises designed to heighten participants’ awareness of their physical and mental experience in the present moment.”

In the spirit of the exercise, you’ll see Lady Gaga standing in a creek, walking around naked, bending over naked in a forest, nakedly grabbing a giant block of ice, and covering herself with crystals – all while chanting. And chanting.

If you haven’t figured this out already, let me warn you one last time that this video contains nudity and is probably NSFW, depending on where you work of course:

Gaga is set to release her new album ARTPOP later this year, and the new single “Applause” will drop on August 19th. she’s also slated to perform at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards. You can find her now on Twitter, where she returned after a month-long hiatus spitting fire at Russia’s new anti-homosexuality laws.

And you can find her in the above video, of course, naked and chanting.

  • Lady Gaga Takes Top Spot On Forbes Under-30 List

Lady Gaga recently underwent hip surgery to repair a labral tear, most likely caused by her intense dance schedule. It is that work ethic that helped her top this year’s Forbes list of the top earners under the age of 30.

Forbes estimates that Gaga made around $80 million in the period between June 2012 and June 2013. The estimate does not include taxes, management deductions, and other fees associated with the insanely wealthy. However, that figure remains impressive due to the fact that she was unable to finish her sold-out tour due to the aforementioned injury. Gaga was also number two on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list.

Gaga joins six other women in the list’s top ten including Taylor Swift in third place and Rihanna in fourth. Those two are thought to have made $55 and $43 million respectively.

The Y-Chromosome is also represented on the list, although rather sparsely. Teenage money machine Justin Bieber landed the number two slot with an estimated income of $58 million. The other two young men on the list were Actor Taylor Lautner and musician Calvin Harris, who is in his last year of eligibility at age 29.

The rest of the top ten is rounded out by Kristen Stewart of Twilight fame, Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, pop queen Katy Perry, and the talented Adele, whose earning were estimated at $30 million.

The running themes of the list are clearly music and acting. A whopping seven of the top ten are musicians while the remaining three are actors. So for those of you out there with aspirations of seeing your children on the Forbes list in the future, invest in either acting or piano lessons.

  • Kelly Osbourne Calls Lady Gaga A Big Hypocrite

Apparently, these celebrity spats are serious business. Just ask Kelly Osbourne, who, after appearing in the July edition of Cosmopolitan, decided to reignite a “feud” that had already fizzled out; considering it started early last year (2012). Osbourne, when asked about it, instead of brushing the subject aside, seemed eager to discuss it in the article accompanying her latest pictorial.

During the discussion, the person who was made famous because of her father’s historic antics pulled no punches while talking about the ring leader of the Little Monsters. “I loved Lady Gaga. I totally believed in everything she stood for, until I realized she’s a great big hypocrite. Don’t say, ‘When you see bullying, intervene,’ while letting your fans send me death threats. If my fans did that, I would not stand for it. You can say whatever you want with your millions of monsters. I know the truth. You bells and whistles mean nothing to me. You’re feeding on the freaks and geeks to further your career? Do you really care about the gay community? Because if you did, you’d stand up for it more than you do.”

While this particular spat will go the way of many celebrity stories–that is, soon to be forgotten–is it noteworthy that Osbourne’s invocation of Lady Gaga brought the eccentric artist back into the limelight? A quick look at the Google Trends results for “Lady Gaga” clearly reveals the amount of conversation surrounding her has decreased. Granted it has been almost two years since her last studio effort, which would help explain the reduction in conversation. However, if you follow the “any publicity is good publicity” strategy–considering Gaga’s outrageous fashion sense, she’s already well aware of this approach–Osbourne actually did Gaga a favor, as the singer prepares to release her latest creation, Artpop.

One last thing, considering Osbourne was ripped by Gaga fans when she last went toe-to-toe with her, how bad do you think the reaction will be this time? Undoubtedly, Osbourne’s Twitter will tell the upcoming tale.

  • Justin Bieber Passes Lady Gaga, Is the New King of Twitter

For over two years, Lady Gaga was the Queen of Twitter – in that she had the most followers of any user on the site. She was the first to 10 million, 20 million, 30 million…I think you get the point. Always lagging behind, in second place, was teen superstar Justin Bieber.

We told you yesterday that Bieber was gaining on Gaga, and fast. He was about 3,000 shy of her total at midday, but Gaga was holding him off.

Well, not anymore. It’s official. Justin Bieber is now the King of Twitter. As of right now, he’s around 4,000 followers ahead of Lady Gaga. Both stars have over 33.3 million followers.

    (image)

    (image)

On another note, it looks like Lady Gaga has yet to upload a new header photo for her Twitter profile. For shame, Gaga. Twitter has really been pushing the new header photo as of late. The new profiles went universal about a month ago.

But I digress. For the first time in over two years, Lady Gaga is not the most-followed person on Twitter. And just from my experience covering Twitter and seeing how rabid Justin Bieber fans can be, I doubt that she’ll retake the crown any time soon.

  • Justin Bieber Overtaking Lady Gaga in Twitter Followers

Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber have always been Twitter royalty – The King and Queen of the service, if you will. They’ve held the #1 and #2 spots in follower count for a couple of years – but always in that order. Lady Gaga has always had a slight edge over Bieber.

That may be about the change

Back in May of 2011, Lady Gaga became the first person to ever hit 10 million followers on Twitter. Coming in second, at the time, was Justin Bieber.

Flash forward to January, 2012, when Lady Gaga hit 18 million followers. Once again, Justin Bieber retained the second-place spot.

In March, Gaga hit 20 million followers, with Bieber still trailing. In June, Gaga hit 25 million and yes, Bieber was just behind her. I’m hoping you’re sensing a pattern here.

But now, it looks like Bieber is gaining on Gaga – and fast. Some Bieber fans are already reporting that Biber has surpassed Gaga, and have screenshots to prove it. TwitterCounter lists Bieber with a 1,000 follower lead on Gaga, but still ranks him at #2.

Twitter follower counts (especially when we’re talking tens of millions of followers) can fluctuate wildly by the second – but as of right now we’re still seeing Bieber as about 3,000 behind Gaga. Both have just over 33.3 million followers.

It does look like it’s going to happen soon, however. Gaga used to hold a couple of million follower lead on Bieber.

If he becomes the leader, maybe he’ll twitpic a photo of his ass in celebration. That would most definitely fire up the beliebers.

  • Osbourne Rips Gaga A New One After Kelly Feud

Sharon Osbourne is taking a stand for her daughter against Lady Gaga and her “Little Monsters”, trading open letters with the star and criticizing her for the way she’s handling her own fans.

It all began when Kelly Osbourne made some comments about Gaga being pregnant after seeing photos of the pop star wearing loose-fitting clothing (Osbourne is one of the stars of the E! show “Fashion Police” with Joan Rivers, where judges critique the fashion choices of celebrities).

“I think she is pregnant because she has been covering up this part of her body recently and I have been noticing that a lot. And her style has changed and you can’t bleach your hair blonde when you are pregnant,” she said.

Gaga’s fans didn’t take kindly to that and immediately ripped into Osbourne, telling her to kill herself and generally wishing harm upon her. Osbourne seemed to shrug it off–being the daughter of Ozzy is nothing if not a thick-skin builder–but Sharon refused to let it go and wrote a letter to Gaga’s manager asking him to speak with the singer about her fans. He promised he would and, soon after, Gaga posted an open letter to Kelly, blasting her for her work on “Fashion Police” and asking her to take a more positive approach to the way others are viewed.

“Your show breeds negativity, and over the years has even become comedic in nature. It glorifies you and Joan Rivers pointing in the camera, laughing, and making jokes about artists and celebrities as if we are zoo animals,” Gaga wrote.

That response prompted Sharon to speak out again in an open letter on Facebook.

You state “Everyday, through my music and public voice I choose to be positive and work towards a kinder and braver world with our community of followers.” Well this obviously is not translating well to your fans, as a large portion of them have not only been vile to Kelly, but also other celebrities such as Madonna, Adele and Rihanna. “You say a kinder, braver world” I don’t know what world you live in, but supporting disgraceful fan comments doesn’t fall under the words “kinder and braver.” It comes under the heading of bullshit.

In closing, stop wearing fur, stop looking for publicity, and stop using your fans to belittle not just Kelly but an endless stream of celebrities. A word from you would stop all the hideous, negative and vile threats from your “little monsters.” Let me know if you want to continue this debate. I’m an open playing field for you my darling.

    Gaga has yet to respond.

  • Minnie Mouse, Sarah Jessica Parker Get Disney Makeovers

Minnie Mouse, Sarah Jessica Parker Get Disney Makeovers

Despite some protests that the Disney makeover given to classic characters–Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, in particular–will send the wrong message to young girls, many are excited to see the finished product, which will debut in an animated short called “Electric Holiday” for Barney’s New York.

And classic characters aren’t the only ones getting an animated makeover; Sarah Jessica Parker, Naomi Campbell, and Lady Gaga are among the notable fashion-lovers who will be sitting in the front row in the film, watching Minnie Mouse and her friends make their runway debut.

The controversial film began making waves back in the summer, when a sneak-preview of the new tall, slender characters hit the web. Some parents were concerned that taking a character like Minnie Mouse–who is so iconic and is known by young girls everywhere–and morphing her into a thin model would be confusing and could possibly cause body-image issues.

The people at Barney’s insist they took this into consideration when the concept was being designed, but say the original characters wouldn’t work with what they had in mind. They wanted to take Minnie, Daisy, and Goofy and put them into designer clothing…something that hadn’t been done before and couldn’t be pulled off with the original proportions.

“When we got to the moment when all Disney characters walk on the runway, there was a discussion,” Barneys creative director Dennis Freedman said. “The standard Minnie Mouse will not look so good in a Lanvin dress. There was a real moment of silence, because these characters don’t change. I said, ‘If we’re going to make this work, we have to have a 5-foot-11 Minnie,’ and they agreed. When you see Goofy, Minnie and Mickey, they are runway models.”

The film was created as part of Barney’s iconic storefront window display and will debut on Wednesday, November 14th.

  • Lady Gaga In Twitter War With Die Antwoord

Lady Gaga is probably used to getting her way, so when genre-deflecting South African duo Die Antwoord refused to open for her on tour, she more than likely took a little ego hit. But when they took it a step further and released a video for their song “Fatty Boom Boom”, in which a man dressed as Gaga endures several horrifying events while visiting their home country, she took to Twitter for some snark.

Unfortunately for her, Die Antwoord had a retort ready (and perhaps a better sense of humor).

  • Lady Gaga Vomits Onstage Several Times

Lady Gaga Vomits Onstage Several Times

Lady Gaga must have whatever Justin Bieber had last week; Mother Monster got a little queasy on Saturday while performing in Barcelona and hurled while onstage, trying to hide it as best she could.

Luckily, the show was almost over by the time she got sick and she soldiered through the rest of it like the superstar she is.

  • Why Didn’t RIM Show This BlackBerry 10 Promo Video?

RIM’s big BlackBerry developers event has come and gone. We know a few of the new features coming in BlackBerry 10, but we only saw what RIM wanted us to see. What about other features that may have been overlooked, or how RIM is going to market the phone to a wider audience?

A recently leaked marketing video obtained by Slashgear shows just that as the BlackBerry 10 is poised as being a phone for creation. The ad says that they will put the BlackBerry 10 into the hands of 10 people who will have one day to create something unique with the device. They even suggest that celebrities like Lady Gaga and J.K. Rowling create new songs and short stories using only RIM’s wonder device.

    Check out the ad below:

I was rather dismissive of BlackBerry 10 when RIM showed off its first features earlier this week. Their public display of affection for developers didn’t help much either. That’s why it’s all the more confusing as to why RIM didn’t show this ad, or at least something similar. It does a way better job of selling BlackBerry 10 than RIM’s own light-on-details videos.

On a side note, it should be noted that the video also gives us our first look at the BlackBerry 10 N series. We knew that it was going to feature the QWERTY keyboard of its predecessors, but we were still unsure of the exact shape it would take. I sure hope the video is real because the BlackBerry N series is looking really good. The true strength of BlackBerry has always lied in their fantastic QWERTY handsets, and the N series seems to continue that fine tradition.

We’ll undoubtedly be able to confirm the authenticity of the video and more as we approach the launch of BlackBerry 10 in January. BlackBerry Jam Asia will be going down in November as well. We may learn more at that time.

  • Lady Gaga Shaves It Off For Friend

Lady Gaga Shaves It Off For Friend

Lady Gaga isn’t one to care much about changing up her look in a drastic way; she’s got a posse of stylists and designers at her beck and call who can change it back when she gets tired of it, and besides, it’s part of her charm.

Gaga recently debuted a new partially-shaved head and posted a photo of the new haircut on Twitter, explaining that it was in honor of the passing of a dear friend’s mother.

“Terry” refers to Terry Richardson, a high-profile photographer and good friend of Gaga’s who lost his mother recently. Though it’s not exactly clear what having a shorn head has to do with honoring the dead, it’s clear Gaga meant it as a show of respect to Richardson, as was the Twitter quote which comes from one of her latest songs.
