  • Lady Gaga And Tony Bennett Wow New York Students With Surprise Performance

More than 700 students from the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts were in for the thrill of their lives as superstars Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga ended their last day of classes with a surprise appearance.

Famous jazz crooner Bennett had been unable to attend the school’s graduation this year due to his tour schedule, so as its founder, he decided to make the last day memorable. With Lady Gaga as his guest and Lester Holt of NBC as moderator, they joined a master class held at the Tony Bennett Concert Hall wherein the two singers engaged in a meaningful dialogue with the students about a variety of subjects, such as the Great American Songbook and jazz music.

Shortly after entertaining the questions from the students, both entertainers then delighted the audience with a performance of a variety of songs. Bennett began with his classic “The Very Thought of You”, followed with Lady Gaga’s soulful rendition of “Every Time We Say Goodbye”. Lady Gaga even tweeted a YouTube video of the performance of Cole Porter’s “Every Time We Say Goodbye” much to the enjoyment of online viewers.

Among all the songs performed, the most memorable was their duet of “I Can’t Give You Anything but Love,” which was accompanied with a playful cheek-to-cheek slow dance onstage. Finally, as an expression of gratitude for the duo’s time and presence, the student choir wrapped up the event with a performance of Bennett’s “Smile” and Gaga’s “Applause”.

The two singers first met while performing at the Robin Hood Foundation benefit gala back in 2011, which was quickly followed by Lady Gaga joining Bennett in the “The Lady Is a Tramp” duet in his Duets II album later that year. As of the moment, both singers are working together to release a jazz album later this year.

  • Katy Perry Spotted Out With A New Friend

Katy Perry has had a rocky few months after breaking up with beau John Mayer, but the green-haired pop star has been spotted out with a new friend, and rumor has it that they’re a new couple.

Perry and producer/DJ Diplo were seen having dinner together in New York City just before attending the Amazing Spider-Man 2 after-party last week. It’s not the first time they’ve enjoyed one another’s company; they were also seen at Coachella earlier this month, where they caught a performance by Alesso.

“They were very affectionate, very lovey-dovey,” a source told People. “And when they weren’t “all over each other, they were constantly looking at each other. They quickly separated. She didn’t want it to look like they were together, but they were.”

After Perry’s breakup with Mayer, she dyed her hair green and reportedly pronounced that she was happy being single for a while earlier this month, according to another source at People.

“She is happy being single. I don’t see her getting into another relationship for a very long time. Why would she? She has a fantastic career, a ton of friends and is generally happy with things. She thinks that a relationship will complicate things right now,” the source said. “She’s so thrilled about the hair. She loves how it came out. This is the time in her life where she can do whatever she wants. Today, it’s green hair. Tomorrow, it may be purple. No one is going to tell her ‘No.’”

Perry was caught in some controversy last month at SXSW, when Lady Gaga mentioned onstage that she’s been compared to the pop star and doesn’t understand why.

“I don’t know what the f–k I have to do with Katy Perry,” Gaga said. “Our music is so completely different. I couldn’t be any more different than her, really.”

Since then, she’s denounced the rumors that there is a feud between them and says she “really likes” Perry and her fans.

  • Lady Gaga Surprisingly Tame at New York Show

Lady Gaga kicked off her 7-show residency at the famed Roseland Ballroom in New York last week, and her first performance was deemed tame for the woman who once dressed in meat and recently invited a vomit artist to perform on stage during one of her concerts. When Gaga performs the last of her 7 shows on Monday, the ballroom will close for good.

Fans clamored to get tickets to the sold out show. Her ‘Little Monsters,’ as she refers to them, came dressed in some unusual outfits in celebration of the pop singer, who typically is pretty outlandish herself. During the opening show, however, none of that really proved true. Sure, she donned a tall, 30-pound wig and was rather scantily clad, but she never reached that expected level of intrigue by going over that proverbial top.

Lady Gaga’s voice was said to be incredible, and she sang an acoustic version of You and I, that was deemed flawless. Her acoustic version of Born This Way was performed while seemingly playing the role of a sultry cabaret singer. At one point she climbed a ladder so she could sing to fans in the mezzanine section of the ballroom. She also posed for pictures and allowed fans to take selfies.

Lady Gaga smelled the unmistakable scent of marijuana toward the end of her hour long show, and she told the audience they could do whatever they wanted because the ballroom would be closing soon. That likely resulted in a few cheers. Still when the evening ended those who were accustomed to or expected her over the top performances left feeling like they had missed out on something–most likely the real Lady Gaga.

Why do you suppose the ArtPop singer was so subdued? Might she be thinking of turning over a new leaf and wowing her audiences simply with her voice and not the often questionable theatrics that have long accompanied her shows?

She no doubt has the talent–and the volume of fans–to do exactly that.

  • Demi Lovato and Kathy Griffin Feud On Twitter

Have you ever heard of a Lovatic?

It’s people who really, really love the singer Demi Lovato, and if you say something bad about her they’ll come after you in the worst kind of way.

That’s exactly what happened to comedian Kathy Griffin after she made a comment about Lavato that riled her fans all the way up.

It started when Lovato said something about Lady Gaga’s much talked about puke performance, where Gaga had someone throw-up on her while on stage. Lovato slammed the stunt and said the Applause singer was glamorizing eating disorders.

Now this is where Griffin comes in:

Via Twitter, one of her followers asked Griffin who was the biggest douche celebrity she ever met, and this is how Griffin responded: “Probably Debbie Lovato. Plus, she should calm the f down about Lady Gaga getting barfed on.” Griffin also called the young singer by the wrong name.

From there Lovato responded and wrote “[I’m] only a douche to people I can’t stand,” but she quickly deleted it. However, it was way too late, the Lovatics already got a glimpse of it, and they immediately sent Griffin some of the worst messages you’ll read like, “I really hope you commit suicide tonight.” And that was one of the tamer ones.

But it didn’t take too long for Lavato to see the vicious tweets and tell her teenage troops to calm down. She also chastised them a little for being so cruel.

“I love you guys so much but yall gotta chill with sending hate towards other people,”she wrote. “Regardless of what they say or do.”

“The cruel things some of you are saying can really, really hurt people,” she added. “It’s called cyber-bullying and somethings should never be wished upon, ever, no matter what. It makes me so sad to see how mean people can really be after all I’ve spoken about anti-bullying. Be an example for other haters. I know my Lovatics are better than that. I really appreciate you guys always having my back, but this is going way too far.”

So far the comedian hasn’t responded to the harsh tweets, but she did re-tweet some of them, and if Griffin’s fans are lucky they’ll get a stand-up routine from all of this in the near future.

  • Lady Gaga Says She Lets Her Man Call All The Shots

Sometimes when we see a celebrity out and about with their significant other, we’ll wonder what that relationship is like behind close doors, and it’s certainly like that with Lady Gaga and her boyfriend of three years Taylor Kinney, who plays on the NBC drama Chicago Fire.

Because just one look at the couple and you’ll wonder how Kinney is able to put up with Gaga’s eccentric nature.

Plus, the pop singer is pretty in-your-face and doesn’t bite her tongue much, which could be a lot to handle in any relationship, but Gaga says she’s the exact opposite at home. In fact, she totally submits to Kinney and lets him call the shots, she says.

“He’s totally in charge,” said Gaga in an interview with Sirius XM.

And the reason the singer gives up control is because she has to make tough decisions all the time, she says, so when she’s home it’s the last thing she wants to do.

Also, Gaga believes that telling a man what to do is the best way to chase him out of the door, which a lot of guys would probably agree with.

“I’m in charge all day long,” she said. “The last thing I want to do is tell him what to do….It’s not good for relationships to tell men what to do, female listeners who are out there.”

The 27 year old has been talking a lot about submission in recent days, due to the release of the new video for her song G.U.Y., which stands for “Girl Under You.”

Gaga says the term “Girl Under You” represents a feeling of empowerment for women and they should feel that empowerment whether they’re calling most of the shots or whether they’re letting their partner do so, because according to the singer, there’s nothing wrong with letting go in a relationship, and if you do, it doesn’t mean that your weak or old fashion.

“In the second scene [of the video] it’s the girl under you in a more kind of sexual and submissive way,” explained Gaga.

“And then at the end of the video, it’s really about the ultimate power that women can feel in being on the bottom…..Sometimes it’s nice to not have to be in charge all the time. It’s okay to let other people take charge, as long as you’re smart and cunning and have your wits about you.”

  • Katy Perry Talks Competition Between Her And Gaga

When Lady Gaga was compared to Katy Perry earlier this month at the South by Southwest music festival, she was none too happy. We reported her response a little over a week ago.

Evidently, the 27 year old doesn’t like to be compared to other artists, especially one like Perry, who’s middle-of-the-ground-safe, and pretty much a record label’s dream when it comes to having catchy songs, a relatable message, and a girl next door appearance.

“I don’t know what the f–k I have to do with Katy Perry,” answered Gaga very abruptly. “My music is so completely different and I couldn’t be more different.”

Gaga’s answer refueled the rumors that the two were at odds and entangled in some very heated competition, but nothing could be further from the truth, said Perry, and she says that Gaga keeps her focused on performing well and staying creative.

“She is a fantastic performer and takes a lot of artistic chances, and it is always interesting to watch her,” said Perry.

“Sometimes, it keeps me on my toes as a performer. It’s nice to have that. But we both agree that we don’t like the competitive nature and we don’t encourage it from our fans, because you are not going to listen to one artist your whole life. You’ll listen to a medley of different artists.”

If you recall, many fans placed Perry and singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles in a heated competition, especially since the two had similar sounding songs in Perry’s Roar and Bareilles’ Brave. But Perry said she didn’t want to be in a competition with Bareilles and she said the same thing about being competitive with Gaga.

“It’s not a competition and we don’t like that,” explained Perry. “I think that…I like her artistic choices. They are always very interesting to watch.”

  • Lady Gaga Talks About Recent Puke Peformance

By now you might of heard that Lady Gaga likes to be vomited on, as throw-up specialist Millie Brown tossed her cookies all over the pop singer at this year’s South by Southwest Music Festival.

For one, I didn’t know there was such a thing as a throw-up specialist or a vomit artist, nor did I know that vomit and art could share the same space.

But hey, you learn something new every day and according to Gaga the whole disgusting thing was in the name of self-expression.

“We both really believe in artistic expression and strong identities,” she said during an interview on the Today show.

“I support her and what she does. ARTPOP, my new album, is about bringing art and music together and the spirit of creative rebellion. For us, that performance was art in its purest form. But we totally understand that some people won’t be into it.”

The blonde singer also said she’s not really surprised the performance received so much press and that a lot of people were turned off by it.

“I guess we weren’t completely surprised. Millie and I know that not everybody’s going to love that performance,” said Gaga.

Additionally, the Applause singer said the throw-up stunt was for a very specific audience, and the fact that she didn’t do it on television or in front of children means that people should chill-out a little, and not be so close minded.

And Gaga didn’t deny that the vomiting thing was just to get everyone’s attention.

“Did we want the controversy? I suppose it doesn’t matter,” she stated. “Either way, we don’t make things for any intention in particular other than in the spirit of entertaining the crowd and creating something that is really for the moment. It wasn’t meant for the Today show. It was meant for a club performance in Austin, and we had a great time.”

  • Lady Gaga’s ‘Brooklyn Nights’ Track Leaks Online

A song that was supposed to be included in Lady Gaga’s 2013 album ARTPOP made its way online over the weekend. The track with the title “Brooklyn Nights” was said to be recorded almost four years ago when the singer was working on her 2009 EP The Fame Monster.

Gaga revealed the title of the song in a Q&A session on Twitter on September 20 last year, in anticipation of ARTPOP’s release. However, the song, produced by DJ White Shadow, was nowhere to be found in the album’s final track list. The singer later revealed that the track would be available to audiences via the ARTPOP mobile app.

In the pop ballad “Brooklyn Nights”, Gaga sings about a failed relationship. The song is somewhat nostalgic, and gives listeners a glimpse of the once-happy relationship: “I always thought it was you / You always thought it was me / We always thought we were it / Seemed like a real perfect fit”.

The thoughts are of a young couple in love, no doubt. This was confirmed in the next lines that say even though they were young, they could grow old together until the very end. However, this love was short-lived: it doesn’t appear that they can be together forever. Things have changed from when they spent happy nights in Brooklyn.

The relationship must have gone toxic, and the couple had already gone their separate ways. This is where Gaga starts reminiscing about the old times and their domestic life, from missing their old chandelier to watching Rocky IV.

    So what went wrong?

The song doesn’t say, but in the next lines we hear about how she found an old pair of keys to the apartment that she shared with her significant other, and it made her want to see him again to see if they can “make it work”. It’s been seven years and she had had a string of bad dates, and was hoping that she could spend a night hanging out with “the old you”. Maybe then, she sings, they can be themselves and tell the truth.

  • Katy Perry Slammed by Lady Gaga After Comparisons

Katy Perry was majorly slammed by Lady Gaga after comparisons were made between the two recording artists. It was during Gaga’s speech at the South by Southwest Music Festival on Friday that she dissed comparisons made between her and the Roar singer.

“I don’t know what the f–k-all I have to do with Katy Perry,” she said. “Our music is so completely different. I couldn’t be more different, really. I really don’t fit in pop music in a way, but I came through it and I’d like to think I changed it in some way so you can feel like you don’t have to fit into a mold.”

It seems like Lady Gaga has experienced a change of heart since she last talked about Katy Perry. That was in August when her song Applause was released at just about the same tome Katy released Roar.

“I really like Katy Perry and I like her fans,” she told Ryan Seacrest during a post Applause release interview.

Something Katy Perry definitely wouldn’t do is carry on the way Lady Gaga performed at the South by Southwest Music Festival. In a collaboration with vomit painter (yes, you read that correctly–vomit) Millie Brown, Gaga was vomited on during her performance and continued throughout her part of the show drenched in puke.

“I’ve known Millie [Brown] for I think like five years now and we’ve actually collaborated before . . . she was just in town and so we thought we would collaborate again,” Gaga explained of their collaboration during her keynote speech, as see in the video clip above. “It was just exciting to see people talk about performance art on the internet. We really just did it because we believe in the performance and we believe in what it meant to the song.”

If that’s the kind of performance the Art Pop singer engages in, then Katy Perry should be beyond grateful that Lady Gaga doesn’t want any comparisons drawn between the two. Considering vomit to be art–and allowing oneself to be painted in it–is just plain disgusting.

Roar on, Katy Perry. Ride that Dark Horse. Just stay out of the way of projectile vomiters, or your crowds might thin out considerably.

  • Katy Perry Dissed By Lady Gaga At SXSW

Katy Perry Dissed By Lady Gaga At SXSW

Is there a rivalry between Lady Gaga and Katy Perry? This past week at the South By Southwest music festival in Austin, TX, Lady Gaga dismissed any comparisons between herself and Katy. “I don’t know what the f–k I have to do with Katy Perry,” Gaga said onstage at the Austin Convention Center. “Our music is so completely different. I couldn’t be any more different than her, really.”

The so-called “feud” had been brewing ever since last August, when both pop stars released their new singles (Perry with “Roar” and Gaga with “Applause”) on the same day. Back then, Gaga told Ryan Seacrest, “I really like Katy Perry and her fans,” trying to squash any rivalry between the two. Since then the two ladies have been busy supporting their albums on world tours, with Katy Perry’s “Prism” undoubtedly outperforming Gaga’s “Artpop,” thanks to the success of her catchy radio hits and perhaps her publicized romance with now ex-boyfriend John Mayer.

Meanwhile, back at SXSW Gaga gave a controversial performance where she allowed painter Millie Brown to throw up on her while on stage, performing the rest of her set with the vomit on her body. “It was just exciting to see people talk about performance art on the internet,” Gaga says. “We really just did it because we believe in the performance and we believe in what it meant to the song.”

  • Lady Gaga Talks Artpop’s Disappointing Sales Numbers

Anyone who’s been following pop star Lady Gaga’s career knows she’s an artist’s artist, meaning expressing herself through her music, wardrobe and everyday choices seem to supersede her interest of being a chart-topper or a music industry darling, which is evident from her left-of-center-approach in most things she does.

So it might not be a huge shock that she’s feeling a little pressure from the bigwigs of the music industry to change a little bit, because no matter how big a pop star is, their record label will always want them to play it safe, song-wise, so the artist doesn’t chase away their original fans.

And that type of pressure is really getting to Gaga, she said, and if it continues she’ll find another way to express herself.

“I will retire from the commercial market if I have to be something other than myself,” she said in an interview with famed music journalist John Norris.

That particular statement may come from the so-so success of her last album Artpop, which hasn’t been the big seller like her previous albums, but the platinum blonde singer said the lack of big sales is due to the current state of the music industry, not how good her songs are.

Plus, she said people don’t give her the same type of leniency for not selling a lot of records as other artists, so they’ll expect her to achieve sales numbers like its 30 years ago, when everyone was still buying albums left and right.

“I’m sorry I didn’t sell a million records the first week,” she said. “I have before…..When it comes to me, everyone forgets where the music industry is now. You come see me and it’s like you’re time-warped to the 70s.”

Gaga also said she refuses to sell out. Instead, she chooses to “sell in,” she said, which probably means she’ll continue to be her boundary-pushing-self and do her best to ignore outside expectations.

  • Millie Brown Has More Art In Her Vomit Than Us

Who is Millie Brown? Millie Brown puts every person claiming to have a sensitive stomach to pure, colorful shame– she might rival the guy from Man vs. Food for being the spokesperson for Stomach Problems. She was first seen vomiting colored milk in a Lady Gaga video, and you’ll probably see her barfing or with stuff dripping out of her mouth if you do an image search for her name. Her consistency should maybe be applauded– her buzz has recently been increased after blowing chunks on Lady Gaga during the ARTPOP singer’s SXSW set.

(Warning: I will attempt to use every single last term for “vomit” that I know in this article.)

But wait. This is not a reaction to the specialized brand of the Lady Gaga Performance Sensations. Although The Gaga chose to channel a Rotisserie Chicken by opening her performance tied naked to a BBQ roast-stick while telling the audience to “put their f-bomb phones down,” Millie Brown upchucking on Lady Gaga is a thing. It’s art, honey.

Millie Brown is a 27-year-old artist who has been Calling Earl on canvas since 2005. She starves herself for two days before producing a piece, then drinks colored milk which either makes it way to the canvas by itself, or via a little prodding from Brown’s fingers down her throat. At the end of the session, how the paints in the milk fall on the canvas makes her creation. Kind of like what this artist does with nail polish–but not– because while that artist does let the nail polish randomly fall, she does not eat it first. But Millie Brown says that drinking colored milk (on an empty stomach, no less) doesn’t affect her body, so we have to believe her.

So there you have it. Millie Brown, maybe soon to be known as the next Ralphael (see what I did there?). Either way she is a very interesting artist that you might be into who has already hurled on Lady Gaga. Maybe you’ll be the next lucky one. What do you think? Avant-garde or Pointless Promotion of Bulimia? While you decide, feel free to check out her official Facebook artist page here.

  • Kim Kardashian, Sisters Hit Up Elton John’s Oscar Bash

Kim Kardashian and her sisters showed up at Elton John’s annual Oscars viewing party looking every inch the fashionable ladies they are, with a diverse array of outfit choices as per usual.

The sisters were joined by their mom, Kris Jenner, at the West Hollywood affair and partied with the likes of “Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks and Lady Gaga. Kim rocked a red ball gown, Khloe chose a slinky, ’40s-style floor-length dress, and Kourtney went a little less girly–but nonetheless sexy–with a black tuxedo-like pantsuit.

The reality stars weren’t the only attention-grabbers at the party, however; Kelly Osbourne and Lady Gaga posed for the cameras in an effort to put rumors of their feud to rest, with Kelly pretending to choke the pop star. After their spat last year, Gaga sent a birthday cake to Osbourne through her mom, Sharon, and Kelly mistook it as a plea for attention rather than a genuine effort to make amends.

“I will just admit that I overreacted. I really did, because when you start to f–k with me and my mom, that’s when I start to get a little bit…I saw it wrong. I saw it more as a publicity stunt than an olive branch. There’s a lot of really huge misunderstandings on both sides of this ridiculous fight that doesn’t even need to be happening,” Osbourne said.

Sharon Osbourne said she was just glad to see the ladies being friendly again.

“You know what, life is way too short,” Sharon said. “And Gaga was so gracious and extended herself to Kelly and I’m glad that Kelly came around because you know what, it’s juvenile. And thank god it’s over.”

  • Lady Gaga Takes Looking Cool To A New Level

Lady Gaga is known for wearing some crazy outfits, but her most recent takes the cake. The sheer, fishnet bodysuit she wore over a two piece bikini isn’t the flashiest or most colorful outfit the star has come up with, but the fact that she decided to wear it in NYC during on a cold day in February, definitely makes it one of the strangest.

Gaga didn’t even attempt to cover herself up with a coat or jacket, in spite of the fact that she was walking through snow on the streets of the Big Apple. She did however wear an extremely long, blonde wig that covered up most of her backside, but was still not enough to keep her warm in the chilly weather.

To top off her insane ensemble, Gaga wore a pair of strange sunglasses, a black hat and a pair of black platforms. Clothing wasn’t the only thing Gaga held back on, she also skimped on the makeup and showed off her newly-dyed eyebrows, which were almost invisible.

Gaga must have decided her sheer outfit wasn’t suitable after all, and she decided to buy a coat the day after she appeared in it. But in true Lady Gaga fashion, the coat she chose was just as extreme as her personality.

Gaga opted for a pink mink fur coat that was almost as long as her blonde wig. Although the pink fur coat is pretty outrageous, it’s nice to see that Gaga decided being warm was more important than showing off her body.

Don’t worry Gaga, Spring will be here before you know it, bringing plenty of warm opportunities to wear skimpy clothing out in public. Until then, keep it weird, but keep it covered.

Which of Gaga’s most recent outfits do you think is the craziest?

  • Lady Gaga Says She’s Recently Been Depressed

Unless you haven’t noticed yet, it seems that Lady Gaga has been missing in action as of late. Just think about it, between the end of 2013 and the start of 2014, you haven’t seen the singer-songwriter on TV much or on awards shows.

Plus, she hasn’t been doing a whole bunch of radio interviews and she hasn’t graced the cover of too many magazines since the beginning of the year. And considering her latest album “Artpop” was just released this past November, one would think she would still be making several appearances to support it, but that doesn’t seem to be the case at all.

So why has Lady Gaga been so low-key lately? Is she tiring of the whole fame thing and does she need a break, or is it something else?

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Gaga said she’s been having some emotional problems, which started right after “Artpop” was released, and she eluded to the fact that the music industry and her inner circle have been weighing her down.

“I became very depressed at the end of 2013,” she said. “I was exhausted fighting people off. I couldn’t even feel my own heartbeat. I was angry, cynical and had this deep sadness like an anchor dragging everywhere I go. I just didn’t feel like fighting anymore. I didn’t feel like standing up for myself one more time, to one more person who lied to me.”

And these feelings persisted until New Year’s Day 2014, when Gaga decided to battle her depression, because if she didn’t, she would have completely lost herself, she said.

“I really felt like I was dying, my light completely out,” she explained. “I said to myself, ‘Whatever is left in there, even just one light molecule, you will find it and make it multiply. You have to for you. You have to for your music. You have to for your fans and your family.’”

And now, Gaga says she’s lifting herself up and making wonderful strides to defeat her depression once and for all, but she had to find a small sliver of hope within herself to do that, she said. “I learned that my sadness never destroyed what was great about me,” she noted. “You just have to go back to that greatness, find that one little light that’s left. I’m lucky I found one little glimmer stored away.”

  • Britney Spears Hangs With Lady Gaga in Las Vegas

Britney Spears had a very special guest at her Planet Hollywood show in Las Vegas this week. It was none other than Lady Gaga. Britney tweeted the Applause singer and made plans to meet up with her before the show. Can you imagine the music Britney and Gaga could make together if they actually planned a bona fide collaboration? It would have the potential to launch Britney Spears off the Vegas circuit and back on to the hit song and tour realm.

Britney Spears is in the midst of a two-year residency at the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood–and while that’s an honor–it’s her very own show, after all–there’s just something about that “Vegas show” branding that leaves thoughts of Wayne Newton in the back of people’s minds. Now this isn’t intended as a Wayne Newton bash as he has entertained millions throughout his career. When a singer goes to Vegas (unless he or she is a timeless classic like Elton John) it just sounds to some like it’s the end of the road. Britney is way too young to even think of her career being at the end of that proverbial role–but do some fans wonder if she’s settling for exactly that? A collaboration with Lady Gaga would banish any such thoughts.

You can clearly see how excited Britney Spears was when she learned Lady Gaga was coming to her show at Planet Hollywood on Saturday night.

Lady Gaga even shared a photo of the two singers together before Britney Spears’ show.

Can you imagine what a collaboration with Lady Gaga could do for Britney Spears? And beyond that–just imagine the musical treat that would be for both performer’s fans.

  • Lady Gaga, Britney Spears Hang Out In Vegas

Fame Monster singer Lady Gaga has collided with the ‘Pop Princess’!

According to E! News, on Saturday, Feb. 1, Lady Gaga made a stop in Vegas to watch pop sensation Britney Spears take the stage at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood for one of her two-year residency concerts.

The two singers also took to Twitter sharing an on-going conversation throughout the day, prior to the concert. Spears tweeted hours before the show asking fans if they could guess who’d be coming to her concert later that evening.

Gaga later shared her anticipation of seeing Spears hit the stage, revealing that she’d be wearing “long blonde hair and androgynous wear” for the concert.

The “Bad Romance” singer even shared a picture of long tresses with fans before leaving for the concert. “Spears simply gushed in anticipation of seeing the “Applause” singer!

However, that wasn’t Spears’ only tweet in regards to Gaga. On Thurs., Jan. 30, she also dropped a hint that she’d be seeing the “Do What U Want” singer really soon.

The publication also revealed that the two actually got a chance to spend some “one-on-one” time together after the show. They even shared a few pictures for the fans. Later that night, Gaga posted the first picture with Spears via Facebook.

She wrote, “Me and Brit Brit http://bplane.co/yTFeXu #Applause4Britney Britney Spears we had so much fun at your show!”

“And Britney’s dad gave us homeade BBQ, it was one of the best things I’ve ever eatin’ in my LIFE,” she exclaimed.

According to UPI, barbecue hasn’t been their only topic of discussion lately. They’ve also spoke briefly of a possible collaboration. Back in December,  Spears said that she’d be “open” to the possibility of doing a collaboration with Gaga. “I would do a duet with Lady Gaga. I think that would be a lot of fun. I think she’s very different and interesting and intricate,” Spears told Saturday Night Online.

Of course, Gaga replied via Twitter.

It will be quite interesting to hear what it sounds like when the ‘Pop Princess’ and ‘Fame Monster’ collide!

  • Britney Spears Meets Up With Lady Gaga In Las Vegas

It was a day only pop diva fans could dream of – Britney Spears and Lady Gaga in the same room.

The two pop princesses were together because Lady Gaga went to see Spears on Saturday, February 1, at her two-year Piece of Me residency at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood.

Of course, being Gaga comes with it’s luxuries. She definitely received VIP status from the Spears camp. Not only did the two pop divas hang out for a bit and have a sweet photo-op, but Spears’ father Jamie even prepared some homemade BBQ for Gaga to nosh on.

In true 21st century fashion, Lady Gaga tweeted about the events that took place that glorious day when two pop princesses collided.

When Spears got wind of Lady Gaga’s arrival, she made sure the two spent some time together before showtime.

Then it was time to cement the moment with a photograph. Because if you don’t take a picture, did it really happen?

Apparently Jamie knows how to make some great BBQ.

Spears may have hinted about Lady Gaga’s visit on Twitter Friday.

Before word got out that the Goddess of Love would actually be attending Spears’ show, the “Perfume” singer sent out a tweet wondering who all would be coming to Saturday night’s show.

The two have been fans of each other for a while, with Spears saying in an online Q&A in December that she “would do a duet with Lady Gaga. I think that would be a lot of fun. I think she’s very different and interesting and intricate.”

Once Gaga heard about this, she responded on Twitter saying, “@britneyspears lets do this bitch its time.”

So can we finally get a duet or something out of these ladies? I mean, Spears has already mentioned she would like to duet with Lady Gaga.

  • Katy Perry Reaches 50 Million Twitter Followers

Katy Perry has had a big week in music. The singer not only swept the no. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with hit “Dark Horse,” the beauty just earned herself over 50 million Twitter followers. The whopping follower number contributes to her title of most followed artist on Twitter.

So what does it take to be the most followed musician on Twitter? Perry recently came into a Twitter following of over 50,055,293 and growing.

Perry took over for most followed artist on Twitter last November when her follower amount grew larger than the recently arrested Justin Bieber.

The singer took to twitter to announce the great news saying, “Oh yeah AND we grew to 50 million Katycats! Eh, regular day at the office.”

The other top-ranking artist on Twitter include Justin Bieber at 49 million, Lady Gaga 41 million Britney Spears at 35 million and Rihanna at 34 million. Wondering where the Queen Bey sits with Twitter followers? She’s at about 13 million.

It’s really no surprise Perry landed the coveted spot since she earned 18 million followers in 2013. That crazy amount of followers made her the top follower-earning artist that year.

Will the woman ever stop? Probably not since she cleverly uses her twitter as a way to get her new album out and fans involved with promises of retweets.
