  • Jade Roper, “Bachelor” Alum, Shared Details of Sexual Assault Following Lady Gaga’s Oscars Performance

Jade Roper realized during Lady Gaga’s powerful Oscars performance last weekend that she had an inner strength she never realized existed. When Lady Gaga went public about her sexual assault–something her own family didn’t even know about–Jade Roper decided she could do the same.

In her blog, the Bachelor alum penned the details of a night from back in high school–a night that has haunted her for years.

“I was raped just shy of my 17th birthday,” she writes. “One night I was at a party with some friends and they ended up leaving without me. They shouldn’t have seemed worried, they left me with a group of guys we were all friends with. I remember going with them to one of the guys’ parents’ house, we had hung out in his basement with friends several times before, so it seemed perfectly normal. I’m not going to go into detail, but I remember it getting late and I needed to be home for my curfew. I remember one guy holding me down while another got on top of me. I remember them driving me home and my parents were gone, driving around town looking for me. When my parents got home, my dad said he found me in my room on the floor in my underwear, mumbling to him I wasn’t innocent anymore. I was a virgin.”

The next morning when Jade Roper woke up, she felt a mix of confusion and shame.

“I found my jeans with blood spots all the way down a pant leg, and I was bruised black and sore. I called one of the guys, he denied anything happened. The other guy I couldn’t even face, I was very close to him and was afraid to confront him with the truth,” she shared. “I never opened up to my parents about what happened, I was afraid of what they would think of me— or worse, that they wouldn’t care at all.”

For many years Jade Roper experienced shame, self-hatred, and a weariness that deeply affected her–all while those around were clueless about her pain.

Following Lady Gaga’s Oscars performance of “Til It Happens to You” last Sunday night, Jade felt empowered.

“The Lady Gaga performance gave me the courage to speak about my story, a story that’s been trapped inside me for over 12 years. I hope that sharing my experience will help girls and women know that they are not alone. And that you have to voice things in order for things to change,” she writes. “And always always always: You matter.”

Kudos to both Lady Gaga and Jade Roper for going public about their sexual assaults in their respective ways. May they both continue to inspire others to come out of the darkness, too, and put the pieces of their lives back together again.

  • Jaime King Comes Forward About Being Sexually Abused After Being Inspired By Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga’s Oscar performance of “’Til It Happens to You” has inspired many sexual assault victims to be brave, and actress Jaime King is one of those people moved by the singer’s number.

King came forward as a sexual abuse survivor on Instagram earlier this week posting a close-up photo of her at the age of 14, when she was just starting to make a name for herself in Hollywood.

In her post, she thanked her husband Kyle Newman, her children, her doctors, women’s organizations all over the world and friends Taylor Swift and Lena Dunham who have always supported her.

“Thank you to my Soul, body, mind, emotions, my inner child, my younger self, I love you. It’s a night of celebration, of change, of not being ashamed of your race, creed color, situation, circumstances and environment, or past. Now I am free, somewhat,” Jaime King wrote on her Instagram account. “Thank you for the switch that went off inside finally when I realized my silence said I cannot help nor change and that is not who I am.”

“I was about 14 here, it started at 12. Peace Be Still,” the mother of two revealed, ending her lengthy Instagram post.

King also thanked Lady Gaga on Twitter for encouraging sexual assault victims to be come together and fight. Gaga responded to her tweet and called King “a warrior leading the way.”

The actress’ revelation came after Gaga’s emotional performance of the song “Til it Happens to You” at the Oscars. When Vice President Joe Biden introduced Gaga’s number, he urged everyone to sign the ItsOnUs.org pledge.  Biden explained that it is “a pledge that says, ‘I will intervene in situations where consent has not or cannot be given.”

  • Jaime King, Inspired By Lady Gaga’s Oscar Performance, Reveals She Was Sexually Assaulted

Jaime King, inspired by Lady Gaga’s performance of Til It Happens to You on Sunday’s Academy Awards, decided she needed to be brave and advocet for survivors of sexual assault by sharing her own story.

King, 36, took to Twitter and Instagram on Monday after Gaga’s Sunday night performance of the song written for a documentary about rape on college campuses, revealing that she is also a “survivor.”

“Thank you @ladygaga – I finally felt a true healing from years of abuse as a minor in the industry. Time to be brave,” the actress tweeted on Sunday.

King also posted a photo of herself when she was a teenager along with shout outs of those who have helped her including Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Lena Dunham and husband Kyle Newman.

Acknowledging the help she garnered from loved ones, King also correctly gave herself
a pat on the back for her own strength.

“Thank you to myself to not choosing to not make this a cover story though that was what was suggested to me but to express from my heart to you all personally which felt the most honest way for me to speak,” King said. “Thank you to my Soul, body, mind, emotions, my inner child, my younger self, I love you.”

Jaime King shared that her abuse began when she was just 12.

“It’s a night of celebration, of change, of not being ashamed of your race, creed color, situation, circumstances and environment, or past. Now I am free, somewhat,” she said.

  • Charlize Theron Stuns in Striking Gown With Deep Plunging Neckline at Oscars

Charlize Theron outdid herself on the Oscars red carpet Sunday, and that’s not an easy thing to do. Always gorgeous on any red carpet she walks, the Mad Max: Fury Road star stunned those who caught her entrance.

Wearing a crimson Christian Dior gown, with a neckline that plunged to her navel, Charlize Theron rocked the style that ended with a mermaid bottom.

Even though Charlize Theron wasn’t an Academy Award nominee, her recent film, Mad Max: Fury Road–for which the blonde beauty even shaved her head, received several Oscars.

Throughout the exciting evening, Charlize Theron posed for pictures with several A-listers, including Lady Gaga, Emily Blunt, and Jennifer Lawrence.

Did it surprise you to learn Charlize Theron wasn’t a nominee at Sunday’s Oscars?

Did seeing her in that gorgeous Christian Dior gown make up for that in any way?

  • Elton John Gives Back Twice, Thanks West Hollywood With Free Concert

Elton John is a huge philanthropist. He has raised over $300 million in research for AIDS research in the past two-plus decades–much of the money stemming from an Oscars bash he holds each year in West Hollywood.

On Saturday, Elton John gave back to West Hollywood, too, thanking them for providing some of the resources that allow him to host his annual bash. In an announcement on Friday night, Elton John shared his plans for thanking West Hollywood with a free concert.

Held in the parking lot at Tower Records, not far from where the singer made his U.S. debut, he performed some of his biggest hits, including “Your Song” and “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting,” in addition to songs from his latest album, “Wonderful Crazy Night.”

Fans piled into the parking lot, while many watched from the rooftops of nearby hotels. Word spread quickly that Elton John was in town, and performing for free.

A spokesman for the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department said the event “went smoothly. There were no problems.”

Elton John doesn’t draw many rowdy fans.

West Hollywood Mayor Lindsey Horvath introduced Elton John just before the concert, telling the audience that over the last 24 years, his AIDS Foundation has raised more than $300 million for research and treatment.

Elton John was proud to introduce a very special guest to the stage, and the fans were thrilled to see her. Lady Gaga performed several songs with the “Someone Saved My Life Tonight” singer.

Kudos to Elton John for continuing to raise money for AIDS research. West Hollywood no doubt loves the Rocket Man for this weekend’s free concert, too.

  • David Bowie Tributes: Who Did It Best, Gaga Or Lorde?

David Bowie tributes have been the centerpiece of two major awards shows now, one earning what seemed like disgust and another earning praise from his son, Duncan Jones.

The Lady Gaga tribute at this year’s Grammys included a technicolor-splashed grand bouquet of weirdness accompanied by David Bowie’s hits, mostly from the 70’s and 80’s. None from the new, critically-acclaimed Blackstar.

It seemed Lada Gaga was too busy with costume changes and rushing through a thousand choruses of David Bowie‘s biggest hits to really pull off a classy tribute.

She was too busy trying to “become” David Bowie to really experience, and help the audience experience, a true appreciation for all that he brought to the world of music and performance.

My Man I LOVE YOU ??Nile

Even David Bowie’s son, Duncan Jones, decried her performance. He indicated that is was a bit…gaga.

However, a classy musical performance by a band that played with David Bowie for a long time and Lorde, who sang Bowie’s 1971 hit “Life On Mars”, captured Duncan Jones’ fancy so much so that he shared the link on Twitter.

    IS THERE LIFE ON MARS?

Which David Bowie tribute did you find more to your liking? Lady Gaga’s or Lorde’s?

  • Lady Gaga Supports Kesha With Series of Social Media Posts

Lady Gaga, like many others (including Adele and Mariska Hargitay), has been voicing her support of Kesha during her legal battle with producer Dr. Luke.

Last week a court refused to let Kesha break a recording contract with Dr. Luke, whom she accused of sexual assault.

Dr. Luke accused the singer of unleashing a smear campaign and released a statement through is attorneys accusing her of trying to extort money and renegotiate her contract.

Lady Gaga has been showing her support for Kesha on social media. “Free Kesha,” she wrote on Instagram:

    Free Kesha

    She also shared additional comments:

Lady Gaga will perform her song “Til it Happens to You” at the Oscars. The song is about sexual abuse on college campuses, and appears in the documentary “The Hunting Ground” about the topic.

  • David Bowie Now Permanently Inked Onto Lady Gaga’s Body

David Bowie now holds an esteemed place on Lady Gaga. In addition to living on in her heart, he also lives on the left side of her ribcage, too. She chronicled getting inked via Snapchat.

Lady Gaga’s new David Bowie tattoo was on display Wednesday evening when the singer arrived at the Rainbow Room in New York City, where she was scheduled to perform for a V magazine party. Wearing a dress that had a revealing cutout just above her waistline, the tattoo was in full view of anyone who glanced her way.

Lady Gaga lauded David Bowie at the Grammy Awards. Bowie’s son, Duncan Jones, wasn’t impressed.

Alas Lady Gaga wasn’t bothered at all by Duncan Jones’s comment, in which he wrote a dictionary definition of the word “gaga.”

Do you think Lady Gaga’s tattoo of David Bowie is a bit strange? After all, she’s in love and engaged to marry the very handsome and sexy Taylor Kinney, star of NBC’s Chicago Fire. Or do you see it as more of a show of love and respect for someone from the music world held in very high esteem by Lady Gaga?

  • Duncan Jones, Son Of David Bowie, Cleverly Shades Lady Gaga’s Tribute To His Late Father

Lady Gaga’s tribute to the late British rocker David Bowie at the 2016 Grammys may have impressed many but one person did not seem to appreciate her performance.

Duncan Jones, son of the rock icon, made a cryptic Twitter post after the Grammy Awards show. “Overexcited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused.’ Damn it! What IS that word!?” Jones, a filmmaker, tweeted.

Although Jones did not mention any names, fans thought that he was referring to the eccentric singer-songwriter, Lady Gaga, when he quoted the Oxford English Dictionary definition of the term “gaga” in his tweet.

The tribute to Bowie, who died of cancer earlier this year, was among the most anticipated performances of the 58th Grammy Awards.

Lady Gaga channeled the Bowie persona Ziggy Stardust with her blue Marc Jacobs gown, bright orange hair, blue eye shadow, and huge killer heels, as she paid tribute to her “music hero.” She covered a medley of Bowie’s hit songs including “Space Oddity,” “Ziggy Stardust,” and “Rebel Rebel.”

Despite the criticism she received from Jones, the crowd was amazed not only by her voice but also by the costume and the “digital skin” technology the production staff used for her number.

Duncan Jones Was Not Impressed By This Bowie Tribute by Lady Gaga at the Grammys

A source told Hollywoodlife that Lady Gaga was not offended by Jones’ tweet. The source claims that the singer respects his opinion.

“Lady Gaga believes everyone is entitled to their own opinion, including David Bowie’s son Duncan Jones,” the source told HollywoodLife.com.

“She is, and always has been, a huge fan of David Bowie, his music, and what he stood for. She gave it her all [at The Grammys] and hopes she did the legendary rocker justice. She’s just super grateful she got to pay her respects by honoring him on such a special night,” added the source.

  • Duncan Jones Not Impressed With Lady Gaga’s David Bowie Tribute at the Grammy Awards

Duncan Jones is likely not a Lady Gaga fan. That would explain his blatant diss expressed via social media, following Lady Gaga’s tribute to his father, the late David Bowie, at the Grammy Awards on Monday night.

Lady Gaga wore a costume likely inspired by Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust. She sang a few of David Bowie’s hits including “Space Oddity,” “Let’s Dance,” and “Changes.”

Duncan Jones took to Twitter following Lady Gaga’s performance.

What is that word? The word is “gaga.” Duncan Jones tweeted the Oxford English Dictionary’s definition of the word.

That said, he likely either isn’t a fan of Lady Gaga or simply didn’t think she did an appropriate job of paying tribute to his late father.

Duncan Jones is David Bowie’s son with ex-wife Angela Bowie. Bowie also has a daughter, Alexandria, with wife Iman.

Did you see Lady Gaga’s tribute to David Bowie at the Grammys on Monday evening? Did you like her performance or do you agree with Duncan Jones’s inference that the tribute wasn’t quite up to par?

  • Liberty Ross, Rupert Sanders’ Ex, Weds Longtime Beau Jimmy Iovine

Liberty Ross, the woman Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders cheated on with Kristen Stewart, married longtime beau Jimmy Iovine in a romantic Valentine’s Day ceremony.

The wedding took place in Beverly Hills, just one day ahead of the Grammy Awards, which, giving Iovine’s long history with the music industry, was especially fitting. Many from within the music industry graced Liberty Ross and Jimmy Iovine’s presence at their nuptials.

Those guests included Eminem, Pharrell Williams, Lady Gaga, Will.i.am, Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, and more.

Celebrity A-listers included Oprah Winfrey and her longtime beau Stedman Graham.

“Stepping out with my Valentine of almost 30 yrs! #iovinewedding,” Oprah captioned an Instagram post in which she showed off her incredible weight loss in a tight red dress.

A rep for Liberty Ross confirmed she and Jimmy Iovine were engaged in September. This is her second marriage.

After all Liberty Ross went through when Rupert Sanders so blatantly embarrassed and hurt her during his fling with Kristen Stewart, it is wonderful to see she’s found happiness with Jimmy Iovine. Surely everyone who attended their Valentine’s Day wedding agrees.

  • Linda Perry Backpedals After Dissing Lady Gaga’s Oscar-Nominated Song

Linda Perry may have spoken too much, too soon.

The American rock veteran previously criticized Lady Gaga’s Oscar nomination alongside esteemed songwriter Diane Warren for the song, “Til It Happens to You,” saying that Gaga is “not deserving” of the recognition and that Warren should be the sole recipient of the nomination.

In a series of tweets that she posted on Monday, Linda Perry said that Lady Gaga’s only contribution to the song was a rewrite of the last line of the song, which is hardly worthy of sharing the nomination with Warren.

“I have Diane’s original demo with her singing. The only line that has been changed ‘Till you’re at the end, the end of your rope,’” Perry wrote. “Originally was ’TIL YOU GOT A HOLE RIPPED IN YOUR SOUL.’”

She also implied that Warren may have included Lady Gaga in the songwriting credits in order to promote the song through the 29-year-old pop singer’s fame and star power.

The song was written especially for the film, The Hunting Ground, a documentary about sexual assault on college campuses.

Linda Perry Claims Lady Gaga Wrote Only A Single Line in this Song

However, Warren reacted to Linda Perry’s allegations and defended Gaga’s inclusion in the nomination through her own Twitter page.

“The song is the result of a special collaboration between myself and Lady Gaga,” Warren wrote. “As Lady Gaga and I have consistly [sic] said. “To you was inspired by the countless survivors of abuse who need our support and love so they know they’re not alone.”

Just hours after her initial tweets, Linda Perry backpedaled and apologized for her earlier comments.

“My sincere apologies. I made a mistake to comment. I wasn’t in the room when the #TIHTY was being written,” Perry wrote.

More importantly, I wish the focus to remain on the great importance of the song and the message of the film.”

Linda Perry also wrote the song entitled “Hands of Love” for the film Freeheld, but was not included in the Academy’s list of music nominees.

  • Lady Gaga Dedicates Oscar Nomination to Sexual Assault Survivors

It’s been a good week for Lady Gaga, as she’s already won one major award and has been nominated for another.

At Sunday’s Golden Globes, Gaga picked up her first statue for her performance on American Horror Story: Hotel. And then, a few days later, she was nominated for her first Oscar – Best Original Song for “Til It Happens to You.”

The song was written for a documentary called The Hunting Ground, which shines a light on sexual assault on college campuses.

So it’s fitting that Lady Gaga would dedicate her nomination to victims of sexual violence.

“This nomination lends a voice to victims & survivors all over the world. Thank you to The Academy for recognizing the movement of people who have come together for this film & song in the name of sexual assault. Myself and Diane are simply honored to represent the voices of so many SURVIVORS,” she wrote on Instagram.

Gaga was nominated alongside Diane Warren.

    Check out the song below:

  • Taylor Kinney: “Chicago Fire” Star Proud of Lady Gaga’s Golden Globes Win, Insists on Apology from Leonardo DiCaprio

Taylor Kinney, best known for his role as the very handsome Kelly Severide on NBC’s Chicago Fire, is incredibly proud of his fiancee Lady Gaga for her Golden Globes win on Sunday.

He spoke with E! News about that pride.

“I knew that she was anxious,” he said. “Just everybody was really excited, the family, fan. I couldn’t be more proud. To have her up there and just sing praises was great. She worked her tail off so it was a proud moment.”

Lady Gaga was busy making the post-Golden Globes rounds while Taylor Kinney gushed on about her.

“She’s running the gamut. I know that she would love to say hello to E! and to all the fans out there, but she’s backstage doing photos and what have you. We’re going to meet up in a little bit!” Kinney added.

It was abundantly clear that Taylor Kinney thoroughly enjoyed his evening at the Golden Globes.

“Great table. Great night. Just proud, just proud of my girl,” he said, in his attempt to sum up the night.

There was one thing that wasn’t all that great, however. That was Leonardo DiCaprio’s eye roll when Lady Gaga was announced the winner for her category. Although DiCaprio has since claimed he had no clue Lady Gaga was walking by as he rolled his eyes, Taylor Kinney found his behavior rude, and reportedly told him so later in the evening.

“He basically told him in a non-confrontational sort of way that he should apologize to her because it was flat out rude and extremely unprofessional,” a source tells RadarOnline.

Taylor Kinney and Lady Gaga were spotted enjoying a stroll on a Malibu beach–hand-in-hand–the day after the Golden Globes. That seems like the perfect way to relax after a long evening of Hollywood hype.

  • Lady Gaga, “Chicago Fire’s” Taylor Kinney Have Sex on Canvas for Born This Way Foundation

Lady Gaga and her fiance, Chicago Fire hunk Taylor Kinney, had sex on a canvas for the cover of V magazine. The magazine is selling prints of the cover at $50 a pop–the proceeds of which will benefit Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.

“We made love on the canvas on a Sunday in Chicago,” Lady Gaga says in the magazine. “We made love amidst chaos. We talked about shootings. We made love amidst terrorism. And we talked about how people’s hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence.”

This V cover comes about just when people were starting to view Lady Gaga as rather normal. Everyone who watched her and Tony Bennett advertise their album in the Barnes and Noble Christmas commercial must now head back to the drawing board and wait to see what Lady Gaga does next.

Both Taylor Kinney and Lady Gaga have stepped out of their comfort zones–aside from having sex on a canvas–recently. She starred in American Horror Story: Hotel and he stars in the upcoming film The Forest.

Where do you suppose Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney might turn up next? Will they have their clothes on?

  • Lady Gaga Opens Up About The Traumatic Experience of Being Raped

Lady Gaga has opened up about her traumatic experience of being raped.

In an interview for a TimesTalks Q&A for the campus rape documentary, The Hunting Ground, the 29-year-old songstress said the assault that happend when she was 19 was so frightening that didn’t tell anyone about being rape until seven years after it happened.

“I didn’t tell anyone for, I think, seven years,” said Gaga. “I didn’t know how to even think about it, I didn’t know how to accept it, I didn’t know how to not blame myself or think it was my fault. It’s something that really changed my life, it changed who I was completely. It changed my body, it changed my thoughts.”

In addition to the immediate physical pain and lasting mental and emotional effects, Lady Gaga admitted that she has physically re-experienced the trauma through the years.

“It can trigger patterns in your body of physical distress,” she recalled.

As reported by The New York Post, one aspect of the trauma that lingered for years was her inability to let go of the guilt and self-blame.

“After it happened, I’m like, ‘But what did I do in my life to bring it upon myself?’ Maybe there was some sort of religious guilt attached to it, that I had somehow inspired the violence,” she said. “… For me, because of the way that I dress and the way that I’m provocative as a person, I thought I had brought it upon myself in some way, that it was my fault. I just never even told anyone.”

The documentary also features a powerful song about the subject by Lady Gaga.

  • Lady Gaga Divulges She Was Raped at 19, Didn’t Tell Anyone for Seven Years

Lady Gaga recently shared a very private part of her past. The singer and fiancee of Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney divulged she was raped at the age of 19–and that she kept the rape a secret for a full seven years.

It was during a TimesTalks Q&A session promoting the campus rape documentary, The Hunting Ground, that Lady Gaga shared the traumatic event from her past. The documentary features a song on the subject of rape, written by Lady Gaga.

“I didn’t tell anyone for, I think, seven years,” Gaga, who is now 29, said. “I didn’t know how to even think about it, I didn’t know how to accept it, I didn’t know how to not blame myself or think it was my fault. It’s something that really changed my life, it changed who I was completely. It changed my body, it changed my thoughts.”

In addition to the physical pain and ongoing mental and emotional anguish, Lady Gaga explained she relived her rape throughout the years.

“It can trigger patterns in your body of physical distress,” she said.

The singer also hit upon the issues of guilt and self-blame.

“After it happened, I’m like, ‘But what did I do in my life to bring it upon myself?’ Maybe there was some sort of religious guilt attached to it, that I had somehow inspired the violence,” she said. “For me, because of the way that I dress and the way that I’m provocative as a person, I thought I had brought it upon myself in some way, that it was my fault. I just never even told anyone.”

As Lady Gaga clearly knows now, women aren’t ever responsible for becoming victims of rape. Her public image and huge fan base will no doubt help her spread this word to people on college campuses and beyond.

Kudos to Lady Gaga for the bravery it surely took to speak out about this trauma she experienced 10 years ago.

  • Lady Gaga Goes Diamond Again with Poker Face

Add another prestigious honor to the incredible career of Lady Gaga.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has announced that Lady Gaga’s 2008 smash hit “Poker Face” has gone diamond, meaning it’s surpassed 10 million in sales and streams.

This is the second time that Lady Gaga has achieved diamond status for one of her singles. Last year, she did it with “Bad Romance”.

Lady Gaga now holds 33% of all the diamond singles.

“Poker Face” was released in September of 2008 as the second single off Lady Gaga’s album The Fame. That about is 3x platinum, with 4.6 million sold.

  • Lady Gaga Teams Up with Tony Bennett for Ad Duet

Lady Gaga has once again teamed up with frequent collaborator Tony Bennett for a charming duet.

It’s a commercial, but we’ll take what we can get.

Barnes & Noble has tapped Gaga and Bennett for its new holiday TV ad, which they call a “festive duet between two beloved music icons whose special relationship perfectly captures the spirit of the season.”

Check out the duo’s rendition of “Baby It’s Cold Outside”:

Lady Gaga will get a chance to sing with Bennett again, very soon. Gaga has joined a Frank Sinatra tribute concert at the Wynn Las Vegas on December 2nd. The concert will air a few days later, and also features Zac Brown, Harry Connick, Jr, Celina Dion, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys.

  • Katy Perry Blows Past Taylor Swift as Forbes’ Highest-Paid Woman in Music

Katy Perry blew past Taylor Swift this year, and is now Forbes’ highest paid woman in music. Taylor Swift placed second on the list.

“I am proud of my position as a boss, as a person that runs my own company,” Katy Perry told Forbes last year. “I’m an entrepreneur. … I don’t want to shy away from it. I actually want to kind of grab it by its balls.”

Katy Perry grabbed it by its balls, all right. And she held on tight for the ride of her life.

Just below Katy Perry and Taylor Swift in the number one and two spots on Forbes’ Highest-Paid Women in Music List is Fleetwood Mac. Lady Gaga is in fourth place, and Beyonce is at the number five spot.

So how much did Katy Perry make this year to put her at the top of this coveted list? The “Firework” singer earned $135 million. Taylor Swift earned $80 million, with Fleetwood Mac bringing in $59.5 million, and Beyonce $54.5 million.

Forbes hints that Katy Perry shouldn’t get too comfortable in that number one spot, however. Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour is grossing more than $4 million per city, meaning she could give Katy Perry a run for her money–literally–when it’s time to tabulate scores for next year’s list.

  • Lady Gaga Involved In Blood-Soaked Orgy With Matt Bomer, Goes Topless On Twitter

It looks like studying method acting for nearly ten years has made an impact on how Lady Gaga sees herself.

“Arguably, it’s the most dangerous form of acting where you embrace becoming the character and you embrace calling upon memory sensory from your life,” Lady Gaga said in an interview.

And Lady Gaga did indeed embrace her vampire role debut on the drama series, American Horror Story, and says she feels as old as her character even though she’s just 29.

“I feel f**king g old,” she told news.com.au. “I have been in the business since I was 15, and although I have been famous for only seven years and lived 29, I feel like I have lived 100 years.” Despite her feeling of being old, the first episode of the series was the talk of the town mainly because of her blood-soaked orgy scene with Matt Bomer. She also shared a photo of herself topless and covered in blood, captioned, “It’s showtime. #ahshotel TONIGHT”.

Lady Gaga plays a role called the Countess, which was described as “a glamorous but deadly creature who sustains on a healthy diet of sex and blood — she kills with her very fashionable but very sharp chainmail glove”.

Her character also enjoys the company of men, which she says is the exact opposite of her actual self. Lady Gaga claimed she felt isolated as a child and had a hard time fitting in with other people.

“I did feel very isolated as a young person, and not because I was alone or abandoned by my family, it’s just a chemical thing. Some kids are born like that. We don’t know why we feel lonely, but we do. It’s like depression but it’s not because someone neglected me,” lady Gaga said.

She’s definitely drawing on her difficult life experiences to portray her complex character in the series.
