  • “Fuller House” Cast Supports Jodie Sweetin’s “Dancing With the Stars” Gig

The Fuller House cast is behind Jodie Sweetin as she prepares to compete on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars. Sweetin recently reprised her role as Stephanie Tanner on the Full House reboot.

“I think so many people know me as Stephanie and as that character, which is amazing and there’s been incredible support for it,” Sweetin said in an interview with People magazine on Tuesday. “But now I get to show people who I am and also, I kind of get to find out stuff about myself.”

Jodie Sweetin isn’t the first of her Fuller House cast mates to compete on Dancing With the Stars. Candace Cameron Bure, who plays DJ Tanner, competed on season 18 of Dancing With the Stars, alongside Mark Ballas. She can’t wait to see her Fuller House co-star compete.

“I am so ready; I am more than ready,” she told E! News when Sweetin confirmed she was competing. “I am just there. I will try not to take over for her because I might nudge myself back onto that dance floor.”

Jodie Sweetin has met her dance partner, Keo Motsepe, and thinks they are a good match. The Fuller House star will compete against Good Morning America’s Ginger Zee, The O.C.’s Mischa Barton, Denver Broncos linebacker (and recent Super Bowl MVP) Von Miller, TV news personality Geraldo Rivera, The Facts of Life and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Fields, UFC Fighter Paige VanZant, Boyz II Men’s Wanya Morris, former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie, America’s Next Top Model winner Nyle DiMarco, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and actress (and ex-wife of current GOP hopeful Donald Trump) Marla Maples.

It will be fun to watch Jodie Sweetin compete on season 22 of Dancing With the Stars. It will be fun to see if her Fuller House cast mates show up in the audience from time to time, too.

The new season of DWTS premieres on March 21.

  • Kim Fields: ‘Facts of Life’ Star Makes ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Debut

Kim Fields was best known for her role as Tootie Ramsey on the 1980s NBC hit show The Facts of Life. In the wake of NeNe Leakes’ departure, Kim Fields has signed on to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for its eighth season.

In a new trailer promoting the upcoming season, Fields appears alongside the rest of the RHOA cast members–Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burress, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, Sheree Whitfield, and Porsha Williams. Sheree Whitfield is making her return to the show. Shamea Morton is another newbie, like Fields.

The new season is filled with the highly anticipated drama fans have come to expect–and to love. Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are expecting their first baby. Kenya Moore is on the prowl for love while working on building her “Moore Manor.” These are only a couple of the story lines that fans will watch religiously.

“This is Hollywood royalty right here girl,” Kenya Moore says to Kim Fields in the promo clip. “Everybody knows Tootie.”

How do you expect Kim Fields will fit in with the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta? It’s certainly a far cry from Mrs. Garrett and the group of boarding school girls she starred alongside on The Facts of Life. Even Blair Warner–payed by actress Lisa Welchel–is harmless compared to some of these wild women.

The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres on Sunday, November 8th at 8:00 p.m.

Will you tune in to check out Kim Fields and see how she fares?

  • Lisa Whelchel: Why I Didn’t Date George Clooney

Lisa Whelchel discussed many things in an interview this week. Among those things was Mr. George Clooney and his stint as her co-star on The Facts of Life.

“The truth is, he was kind of in his twenties, he was young, he was gawky, he was so much fun! He’s really aged quite well. Back then, it was kinda fun to have a big brother around.”

Lisa Whelchel added, “I don’t know, maybe I was just not smart, or not thinking ahead, because I did not anticipate what he would grow into. I think if I had, I would’ve worn makeup to rehearsal a little bit more often.”

Clooney is now 53 and Lisa Whelchel has forever missed out, because the eternal bachelor is now engaged to Amal Alamuddin. Too bad, they would have made a cute couple.

Whelchel isn’t hurting, though. She is pretty busy herself. Lisa Whelchel also talked about her new upcoming Hallmark Channel movie, For Better or For Worse. The new movie stars another Facts of Life alum, Kim Fields. You may know her as the lovable Tootie.

Lisa Whelchel is excited to be working on this particular movie and to be working with Kim Fields again.

Lisa Whelchel said, “I am pitched a lot of scripts that are family-friendly, and I hate to say it, but a lot of them are really, really cheesy. Either that or they’re just trying to hit you over the head with a message. So when I got this one, I thought it was a great script, a delightful comedy that happened to have a nice message. I was enamored by it, so I signed on.”

I’m sure that is certainly true. Some of those movies really do push the cheese factor.

Kim Fields is just as happy to be working with Lisa Whelchel again. She says it’s just like old times.

“They sent me the script and said that Lisa was attached, and I thought it was a great story. And after all the directing and producing, I loved not having those responsibilities. I could show up, get to work with someone I adore, and then go home! And I got to be comfortable in my post-baby skin!”

Fans of Lisa Whelchel and The Facts of Life just might enjoy seeing the two work together again!

  • Lisa Whelchel Reunites With “Facts Of Life” Co-Star

Lisa Whelchel hasn’t been in the spotlight much since The Facts Of Life was on air, preferring to live a quieter life away from Hollywood as a successful Christian author. Now, however, she’s returned to television for a Hallmark Channel movie For Better Or For Worse, and the project has reunited her with one of her old co-stars.

Kim Fields, who played “Tootie” on the popular ’80s sitcom, says she jumped at the chance to not only work with her longtime friend again, but to be able to focus on acting again after years of being behind the camera.

“They sent me the script and said that Lisa was attached, and I thought it was a great story. And after all the directing and producing, I loved not having those responsibilities. I could show up, get to work with someone I adore, and then go home! And I got to be comfortable in my post-baby skin!” she said.

Whelchel also reunited with fellow co-star Charlotte Rae last month when they met for lunch, and apparently the girls still try to stay in touch with one another after all these years. Whelchel, who made headlines when she came in second place on Survivor: Philippines says that there are things she wishes she could have realized when the show was filming that are easier to see now.

“The biggest fact of life I wish I knew while on the show is to be a little proud of being a little heavier than the typical girls on TV. Because it gave the opportunity to give the girls who watched the show a point of reference for a reality of what girls look like and accept themselves at a normal weight,” she said.

She also says she can see things in her friend now that she didn’t always appreciate when they were younger.

“It was like old times, but really, really different,” she said of filming for the Hallmark Channel. “We felt comfortable together, because we’re such good friends. But I can see her talent as an adult. I would watch her during a scene now and think, “Wow, she’s really good. She’s so funny.” I didn’t appreciate that as a kid.”

  • Kim Fields and Lisa Whelchel ‘Facts of Life’ Girls Are Back

Kim Fields and Lisa Whelchel, two of the main characters on the hit TV show The Facts of Life, will soon be reunited on TV once again. The two ladies star in an upcoming Hallmark Channel movie called For Better or For Worse. The made-for-TV film airs on July 19th.

Lisa Whelchel is set to play the role of Wendy–a widow who is finally adapting to single life following the passing of her husband. Kim Fields plays Wendy’s best friend Roseanne, who works with her planning weddings as part of a family business Wendy is taking over.

For Better of For Worse was a novel written by the late Diann Hunt. It definitely sounds like one that will adapt very well to the small screen.

Kim Fields and Lisa Whelchel played the parts of Tootie and Blair–two young girls in a private boarding school, living under the direction of their house mother Mrs. Garrett–on The Facts of Life. Actresses Mindy Cohn and Nancy McKeon rounded out the group of main characters on the popular show.

Lisa Whelchel posted this photo of herself with Kim Fields on Instagram a few months back. The two were at a photo shoot inspired by The Facts of Life. Whelchel captioned the shot, “Having way too much fun at this photo shoot with @KimVFields!”

Kim Fields has remained in show business since The Facts of Life ended. She has both produced and directed television shows and she appeared regularly on Living Single back in the 1990s.

Lisa Whelchel appeared on Survivor: Philippines back in 2012. She had a small part in a Tyler Perry film in 2013, but otherwise has concentrated her efforts on raising her family and speaking at Christian conferences for women. She is a devout born again Christian.

Will you tune in to the Hallmark Channel next weekend to check out the ladies who once thrilled weekly viewers on The Facts of Life? Kim Fields and Lisa Whelchel played beautifully off one another back then. Do you suppose they still have it in them to do so these days, too?

  • Lisa Whelchel And Kim Fields Reunite For TV Movie

Blair and Tootie will be together again, well not exactly Blair and Tootie, but Lisa Whelchel and Kim Fields.

The Facts of Life has been off the air since 1988, however, two of the sitcom’s stars will reunite for a television movie on the Hallmark Channel called For Better or For Worse. The movie is an adaptation of the book of the same name written by the late Diann Hunt.

Hallmark released the following synopsis for the comedy:

Opposites attract when Wendy (Whelchel), a wedding coordinator, and Marco (Cupo), a divorce attorney, find their lives suddenly intertwined. Wendy is finally settling into the single life after struggling with the death of her husband. After a difficult season of grief, she’s taken over the family business of coordinating weddings with the help of her friend and co-worker Roseanne (Fields).

Although Wendy will stop at nothing to promote her marriage business over Marco’s divorce business, she must form an alliance with Marco after her son Collin (Ruttle) announces his unexpected engagement to Marco’s daughter Sophia (Josipovic).

With the exception of a 2001 The Facts of Life Reunion TV movie, participating as a contestant on Survivor: Philippines in 2012 (she reached the finale and came in second place), and an appearance in Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas in 2013, Whelchel left showbiz after The Facts of Life in order to concentrate on raising her family. The actress got married in 1988 and had three children. She is also a regular public speaker with Women of Faith Christian conferences.

Kim Fields has worked fairly steady in television since The Facts of Life left the air. She was a regular cast member on the Queen Latifah show Living Single from 1993-1997. Fields has also served as a director and producer for television.

You can check out For Better or For Worse on the Hallmark Channel on July 19 9/8c.

  • Lisa Whelchel Reunites with ‘Facts of Life’ Costar

It’s really nice to see The Facts of Life costars Lisa Whelchel and Charlotte Rae reunited once again.

The two posed for a selfie on Tuesday while out on a lunch date together.

“Selfie with Charlotte Rae today at lunch. She gave me some good advice. (Just like old times),” wrote Welcher in the caption.

Welchel played spoiled rich kid Blair Warner on the beloved ’80s sitcom, while Rae played house mom Mrs. (Edna) Garrett on the series.

Rae left the series in 1986, but was reunited with the rest of the cast in the 2001 TV movie The Facts of Life Reunion. Cloris Leachman stepped in to replace Rae playing Edna’s weird sister, Beverly Ann Stickle.

Time certainly flies as Welchel is now 51 and Rae is still beautiful at 88, and they both continue to stay busy in Hollywood.

Rae will appear in an episode on Girl Meets World and Whelchel, who recently appeared on Survivor, will star alongside another Facts of Life costar, Kim Fields (Tootie), in For Better or For Worse on Hallmark Channel.

  • Kim Fields Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Kim Fields Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Actress Kim Fields received an early Christmas present, but she’s known about this gift for many months now. Nine to be exact.

The Facts of Life and Living Single alum gave birth to her second son, Quincy Xavier, with husband, Broadway actor Christopher Morgan on Tuesday.

The happy couple said, “We are so blessed and grateful to God for this newest gift to our family.”

While visiting the talk show, The Real, in July, Fields announced she and her husband were expecting. At the time she said, “We’re very, very blessed. It was planned. We’ve actually been trying for a couple years. We had gotten pregnant twice and [miscarried]. Chris and I were very blessed to really have one another, to have our family and friends and our God to really get us through that.”

Being pregnant wasn’t her first thought when she started feeling sick. “Funny enough, for a minute I thought I was getting pre-menopausal because certain things were starting to be irregular and then other symptoms started — my memory and I was clumsier than normal which I couldn’t even believe was possible,” she explained. “Then our son got sick with a stomach virus and I caught it. Chris said, ‘No, babe, you’re a little sicker than Sebastian. You need to go and get that checked out’ and I said, ‘Okay.’ So I went and they tested me and said, ‘Oh honey, you’re not dehydrated. You’re two months pregnant,’” said Fields.

At age 44, the actress doesn’t want people to see her as the poster-child for getting pregnant and giving birth over 40. Said Fields, “If I’m encouraging to anybody — it’s not like I’m the poster child for over 40 and pregnant.”

A day after giving birth, Fields took to her official Twitter account to announce the birth of her baby boy.

The couple, who has been married since July 2007, have a six-year-old son Sebastian.

  • Kim Fields Is Pregnant Again, It’s A Boy

Kim Fields Is Pregnant Again, It’s A Boy

Kim Fields had a profound impact on kids’ lives when she played Tootie on The Facts of Life. Now she has the opportunity to play a major role in her own children’s lives, including one child that’s on the way.

On The Real yesterday, Kim Fields announced to the world that she was pregnant. She confirmed on the daytime talk show that the new baby is a boy, and she even has a name for him – Quincy Xavier. Take that, Prince George.

The circumstances surrounding Fields’ pregnancy are somewhat interesting. She says that she didn’t even know she was pregnant at first. In fact, she thought that she was pre-menopausal at first. She then went to the doctor after catching a stomach bug, and the doctor said that she was two months pregnant.

This latest baby is Fields’ second baby. She previously gave birth to a son named Christopher six years ago. He’s reportedly excited about having a little brother, but I’m sure that will change as Quincy grows up. It’s going to be hard to compete with a brother who has such an awesome name.

Fields is also incredibly excited about having another kid, and even more so after coming off of two painful miscarriages. She says that the impending arrival of Quincy Xavier makes her feel very blessed and that she couldn’t have gotten through the last two failed pregnancies without the help of her friends, family and God.

After the announcement, she took to Twitter to thank her fans for their support:
