    Khloe Kardashian The New “X-Factor” Host?

    Khloe Kardashian is officially in the lead for the job of co-host on “X-Factor”, according to producer Simon Cowell.

    Kardashian has been up against some tough competition for the spot, which includes Kelly Osbourne and Stacy Keibler. The producers want two hosts, however, a male and a female, because they say breaking up the duties adds a better dynamic for television.

    “That will make it more interesting,” Cowell said. “There’s so much talking on these shows, 11 or 12 minutes. It’s too boring, as Ryan [Seacrest] demonstrated, for one person to say everything. You’ve got to mix it up a little bit. I kind of know what we’re looking for, but that’s why we screen-tested people.”

    The belief is that Khloe will join Britney Spears and Demi Lovato in the show’s push to gain young viewers, and according to the people in charge, she’s the one they want. Nothing final has been decided yet; however, Cowell says fans can expect an announcement within the next week.

    Khloe Kardashian was involved in a very minor fender-bender on Wednesday, but, perhaps due to the recent spate of female stars hitting things with their vehicles (and mostly abandoning the scene), it’s getting the E! star some attention.

    However, the accident wasn’t even bad enough to leave so much as a tiny scratch on either car, so Khloe didn’t bother to exchange information with the other woman.

  • Kris Jenner Pushes Khloe To Have DNA Test: Twitter Reacts

    Hollywood mom Kris Jenner is on the receiving end of a lot of backlash this week after the finale of “Khloe and Lamar” painted her in an ugly light.

    Jenner, whose new book “Kris Jenner And All Things Kardashian” gives some steamy details about an affair she had while married to her famous daughters’ father, Robert, is pushing Khloe to have a DNA test because she got pregnant around the time of the affair. While some think it’s just a mom wanting her daughter to have closure for her own peace of mind, others think it’s a publicity stunt to gain exposure for her book and, perhaps more importantly, a really shady thing to do to your own kid.

    “His name was Ryan, and he was a producer. We had wild sex everywhere, all the time,” Jenner writes in the book.

    After Jenner confronted Khloe about taking a test on the show, Khloe vehemently opposed the idea, saying she doesn’t care to find out the truth.

    “I don’t care either way cause my dad is my dad and my stepdad is my stepdad,” Khloe said.

    But Jenner isn’t backing down. Not only that, she’s promoting the new book on several talk shows and other media outlets, so the word is getting out that Robert may not be Khloe’s father, and she is deeply embarrassed. Her husband, however, is a big support system in her life and said he will be a good husband and stand by her side during the ordeal.

    “My mom’s book opened up a can of worms for people to have their opinions. I’m not mad at her but I need time to think. I don’t want to get sucked into the Kris Jenner crazy train,” she said.

    Whatever Jenner’s reasons for going public with the affair, she’s garnering a lot of attention for her book by involving her children. No word yet from the man she supposedly had this tryst with.

  • Kim Kardashian To Run For Mayor Of Glendale

    Kim Kardashian has decided that being an entrepreneur, reality star, and face of several brands isn’t enough. She wants to run for mayor.

    According to Kim, Glendale, California is “Armenian Town” and would make the perfect place to take up residence in five years, when she plans to run for mayor. The Kardashians are of Armenian descent–on their father’s side–and apparently she feels the community there would welcome her with open arms.

    In an un-aired clip from sister Khloe’s E! show “Khloe and Lamar”, the two are driving in Dallas when Kim brings up her future goal, saying she’s working out the details and has someone helping her look into all the requirements needed to run for office–all while Khloe shouts at drivers who won’t get out of her way.

    It seems like Khloe is taking the news with a grain of salt, but Kim appears to be genuinely interested in a political career, so we’ll see what happens in 2017. Maybe Kanye will help run her campaign.

    Lamar Odom and Dallas Mavericks Break Up

    Lamar Odom, who has become just as famous recently for his marriage to Khloe Kardashian and their appearance on the E! reality show “Khloe And Lamar” as he has for his skills on the court, announced today that he will be leaving the Mavericks effective immediately.

    Odom said, “I’m sorry that things didn’t work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs’ organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship.” According to his statement, he will not be cut from the team but rather listed as “inactive”, which means he can still be traded at the end of the season. If he isn’t traded by June 29th, the Mavs will have to take responsibility for him and honor his contract, which specifies an $8.2 million paycheck.

    Last summer proved trying for Odom’s personal life, which left his heart well outside of the game. In July, his 24-year old cousin was murdered and just days later, Odom was involved in a car accident (as a passenger) that left a teenager dead. Between the tragedies and dealing with having his life filmed for a television show, he barely found the energy to train during the lockout.

    It looks like Odom will have some time to get his head straight and figure out his next move.

  • Khloe Kardashian No Longer Wants to Associate with PETA

    Yesterday we reported that Kim Kardashian may press charges against the woman who threw flour on her while launching a new fragrance line. The entire scene left Khloe worried over her sister and now she is severing ties with PETA.

    Khloe posed in her birthday suit to support PETA’s “Fur, I’d Rather Go Naked” campaign becuase she said she loved animals, wanted to work with the other celebrities involved with the organization, and wanted to spread awareness about the fur industry.

    Khloe wrote the following post on her blog yesterday to explain why she will no longer associate herself with PETA:

    I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise. Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior. I’ve been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. As you all know, I don’t condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that. I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions — I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them. I am a very proud sister right now, because Kim handled last week’s incident like a champ. She got cleaned up and was back out there in a matter of minutes. Go Kimmie!

    Mrs. Odom says that she will remain animal friendly and refuses to wear fur.

    This has been a stressful time for the Kardashian clan. Considering Lamar Odom’s fall from favor, Kim’s embarrassing encounter is only the tip of the iceberg.

    The Kardashians seem to be a very involved and supportive family. Kourtney and Kim said they were closer at first because Khloe was five years younger but the trio’s sisterly love has become stronger throughout their collaborations.
