  • Kendall Jenner: A New Victoria’s Secret Angel?

Kendall Jenner may be close to earning her angel wings. She has reportedly caught the interest of Victoria’s Secret, and they are said to be close to signing a deal with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.

According to a report from In Touch Weekly, Victoria’s Secret is planning for their annual fashion show, and Kendall Jenner is definitely in the running to come on board as a new Angel.

“They saw all the buzz she got from walking in New York Fashion Week,” a source told the publication. “They’d love to lock in a contract with her.”

The source also believes Kendall would be thrilled to strut her stuff as a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

“Kendall once said her biggest dream was to be an Angel,” they told In Touch Weekly.

There seems to be a major caveat to the entire prospective deal, however. That caveat is named Kris Jenner. There are apparently some big concerns about the Keeping Up With the Kardashians ‘momager’ pushing Victoria’s Secret for more money for Kendall Jenner than they might be willing to dish out.

This would be such a huge milestone in Kendall’s career. She has skyrocketed in the supermodel world and she’s only done Fashion Week shows in the U.S. and abroad for less than a year.

Do you think Kendall Jenner would make an exceptional Victoria’s Secret Angel? Hopefully Kris Jenner won’t stand in the way of her success. Multiple outlets have picked up on the story, and it seems all have faith in Kim Kardashian’s little sister.

It will be interesting to see if Kendall becomes a Victoria’s Secret Angel, will she be billed as ‘Kendall Jenner,’ or simply as ‘Kendall.’ The solo moniker is how her modeling agency bills their latest star.

  • Kris Jenner Proud of Kendall Jenner’s Milan Fashion Week Shows

Kris Jenner is a proud mom. The ‘momager’ of the entire Keeping Up With the Kardashians brood, Kris only had eyes for Kendall this weekend, however. Daughter Kendall Jenner is making big news on fashion runways around the world as she is off and running with her up-and-coming modeling career. Kris Jenner was front and center for Milan Fashion Week to watch her daughter strut her stuff.

In addition to being up close and personal, Kris Jenner shared everything she could via social media. ET claims she shared more photos than Kendall Jenner shared herself.

“Look What I woke up to @kendalljenner !! You look beautiful walking the runway for @bottegaveneta SS15 #Milan #MFW #BottegaVeneta #stunning #proudmama #kendall #whileiwassleeping,” Kris Jenner captioned this first Instagram shot of Kendall in full model mode.

Kris also reposted a stunning shot of both Kendall Jenner and Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio. She captioned this one, “#repost @alessandraambrosio. Beautiful girls!!! @kendalljenner and @alessandraambrosio #backstage at the @bottegaveneta show #milanfashionweek! Thanks @kegrand & @johndavidpfeiffer.”

This next shot of Kendall Jenner as she walks in the Emilio Pucci show no doubt makes the entire Keeping Up With the Kardashians family proud. Kendall really appears to have what it takes to make it in the modeling world.

On Thursday Kendall Jenner rocked the Fendi runway, with E! calling the young model ‘unstoppable.’

Even one former star of The Jersey Shore has become a huge fan.

“I am so proud of her because she’s an amazing model and she knows what the hell she’s doing,” Snooki Polizzi wrote on her website. “All of last week she was in like every runway show and she was killing it in all of them.”

“I love the Jenners and I think you guys are doing an amazing job and thank you for staying humble, that’s why I love you,” she added.

Yes, Kris Jenner has plenty to be proud of in daughter Kendall Jenner. Hopefully the Keeping Up With the Kardashians ‘momager’ isn’t one of those overbearing stage moms–like the ladies on Dance Moms. Poor Kendall. In addition to ditching ‘Jenner’ from her professional name, she might just ditch Kris Jenner, too.

  • Kendall Jenner Allegedly Tells Kim K. To Stay Away

If dropping her last name wasn’t a big enough of a hint to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, it seems that young Kendall is taking things a bit farther.

Some gossip sites are reporting that the model formerly known as Kendall Jenner has outright banned her older sister Kim Kardashian from attending any of her fashion shows.

This is a rather unfortunate turn of events if true, as the 18-year-old has stated that big sister Kim K. has been very supportive of her dream to be a top fashion model.

Said Kardashian, “[Kendall] had to work extra hard to gain this respect and to fight for people to see she’s serious.”

Despite the fact that the 33-year-old reality television star is pulling for her younger sister, Kendall Jenner isn’t interested in sharing the spotlight with her famous sibling.

It was revealed that Kardashian had even been invited to attend the shows that Jenner would be walking in.

“Kim was invited to a lot of the shows that I was in,” said Jenner to LOVE Magazine during an interview.

“She called me before and was like, ‘Hey, I was invited to the show, I just wanted to let you know. Do you want me to come?’ and I was like, ‘No.’”

    Yikes.

Well I’m sure Kim Kardashian is still rooting for her baby sister. She’ll just have to do it from a safe distance.

It’s been a busy time for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians starlet, who participated in the craziness of New York Fashion Week.

She showed off anticipated styles for Spring 2015 and made appearances for some highly respected fashion brands.

Jenner donned a shoulder-length shaggy black wig when she walked for Marc Jacobs. She also walked for Diane Von Furstenberg, sporting a white gingham dress and lace dress that was absolutely adorable.

While it may be some time before she is able to shake the association with her famous family, perhaps her participation in Fashion Week will help demonstrate that she has the chops to become a popular fashion model.

  • Kendall Jenner Does New York Fashion Week With Style

Kendall Jenner has just wrapped up her first official New York Fashion Week–at least from a fashion model’s perspective anyway. The 18-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star walked the runways for a variety of fashion houses throughout the week.

The L.A. Times reports that Jenner is now billed by her modeling agency as only ‘Kendall.’ Her first foray into Fashion Week was last Sunday for Diane Von Furstenberg, where she strutted her stuff in a black-and-white gingham dress cinched at the waist with a black ribbon.

‘Momager’ Kris Jenner was very excited about Kendall Jenner’s New York Fashion Week debut.

“You are kind of fabulous @kendalljenner !! I see you walking for Diane Von Furstenberg @DVF #SS15 #NYFW #proudmama.” is how Kris Jenner captioned her Instagram photo.

On Monday, Kendall walked the runway twice for Tommy Hilfiger, wearing both a burgundy scalloped bikini with starry tattoos across her legs and chest, and shortly thereafter a sheer navy blue caftan.

A couple of hours later on Monday, Kendall Jenner switched up her look for the Donna Karen New York show, where she donned a loose yet structured orange three-quarter-sleeve top paired with a pretty printed skirt.

Alas Monday wasn’t yet over for Kendall, who next rushed to the Polo Ralph Lauren show, where she watched that runway as a mere spectator in a beige fringed jacket.

Kendall Jenner closed out her work at New York Fashion Week on Thursday, as she walked the runway for Marc Jacobs’ ready-to-wear show. Kendall wore a shaggy black wig for this gig, and wore a long-sleeved minidress with velvety sandals.

During Kendall’s down time at Fashion Week, she took in Miley Cyrus’s art exhibit where she saw both a vibrator and a bong created–or at least bedazzled–by the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer. She also attended a Victoria’s Secret book signing.

Now that Kendall Jenner has successfully navigated the ropes–and the runways–at New York Fashion week, might she be on tap for the upcoming fashion weeks in Milan, London, and Paris as well?

Kendall captioned this Instagram shot, “bye bye #NYFW.”

Will Kris Jenner follow this Keeping Up With the Kardashians star abroad if Kendall is scheduled to walk those runways, too?

  • Kendall Jenner Drops Her Last Name To Boost Modeling Career

Kendall Jenner Drops Her Last Name To Boost Modeling Career

In what others are saying is a bid to move away from her reality TV show persona, Kendall Jenner has dropped her last name to be known just by her first in the modeling world. The half-sister of Kim Kardashian is now known simply as Kendall, and her parents are reportedly supportive of her career move.

A source close to the Kardashian family told HollywoodLife.com that Kendall’s parents aren’t bothered by the name change. “Bruce isn’t upset at all and Kris doesn’t care — she’s just thrilled at how successful she’s become in the modeling industry. She’s very proud of her,” said the source.

Kendall’s modeling agency, The Society Management, first announced the name change on their website when they posted a profile for her titled “Kendall”.

“She just wants some independence from her family. Everyone in the business refers to her on a first-name basis, anyway,” said another source to HollywoodLife.com. The source likened Kendall’s first-name move to that of legendary models Twiggy and Giselle, adding that it helps Kendall with her goal of making a name independently from her famous relatives.

Kendall reportedly said that she had been using the single name for months and that she first tried it when she debuted in the fashion world by walking for designers Marc Jacobs and Giles. “I did it last year at all the castings, too! I only go by my first name,” she told Us Weekly.

The 18-year-old model also revealed to Teen Vogue recently that her famous last name has hindered her, not helped her in her modeling career, despite people thinking the opposite was true. “People didn’t want to take a chance on me, I think because I was sort of known. They were a little bit on the fence about it. Some people might think that what I’ve done before made it easier for me to get jobs, but it was actually a disadvantage. I had to work even harder,” she said.

  • Kendall Jenner Drops Her Last Name

Kendall Jenner is no longer Kendall Jenner!

According to Us Weekly, Kendall has decided to drop her famous last name, and simply go by Kendall.

Kendall’s modeling agency The Society Management was the first to announce the change on their website’s profile for the 18-year-old Keeping up with the Kardashians star.

Kendall first decided to drop her last name when she made her grand entrance to the modeling world by walking in Marc Jacobs’s fall 2014 show.

It appears as though she is following suit of other famous women including Cher, Madonna, Shakira, and Adele.

While the story is just now breaking, Kendall revealed that she changed her name months ago, but her fans are having a hard time with the adjustment.

“I did it last year at all the castings too!” she said. “I only go by my first name.”

When asked why she decided to go by her first name only, she explained that “it was just my choice.”

Kendall, who is being featured on the September addition of Teen Vogue, said that her famous last name was not working with her modeling career, and she was trying to break out as an individual.

“People didn’t want to take a chance on me, I think because I was sort of known,” she told the publication. “They were a little bit on the fence about it. Some people might think that what I’ve done before made it easier for me to get jobs, but it was actually a disadvantage. I had to work even harder.”?

  • Kendall (Jenner) Drops Her Famous Last Name. Why?

Kendall Jenner has decided to drop her famous last name, opting to be known only as Kendall.

The 18-year-old super-model-in-the-making is trying desperately to drop her identity along with her name, so has chosen to follow the path of others with the same branding theory — Cher, Madonna, Prince (or the artist formerly known as Prince), Shakira, and Adele.

The Society Management, her modeling agency, first made the announcement on their website’s profile for “Kendall.”

Apparently, everyone has been in the dark about her name change. Kendall told Us Weekly that she has been going by the single name for months, making the switch with the launch of her fashion career in shows for Marc Jacobs and Giles.

“I did it last year at all the castings too!” she told Us Weekly. “I only go by my first name.”

Kendall didn’t elaborate on the reasons for changing her name.

“It was just my choice,” she said.

One reason may be her perception that her Jenner name and the association with the Kardashian-Jenner family may have hindered her in her life’s ambition to be a super-model.

Kendall said as much in a recent article for the September issue of Teen Vogue.

“People didn’t want to take a chance on me, I think because I was sort of known,” she said. “They were a little bit on the fence about it. Some people might think that what I’ve done before made it easier for me to get jobs, but it was actually a disadvantage. I had to work even harder.”

Kendall also spoke a bit about her non-existent love life for the Teen Vogue article.

“I don’t have a romantic life at the moment, so traveling doesn’t bother me at all,” Kendall said. “But I do want to go home. When I was young, I was the kid who would call my dad from a slumber party to beg him to come pick me up.”

Despite her name reduction, her social media accounts still go by the name, Kendall Jenner.

  • Kendall Jenner: Was Dropping Last Name A Smart Move?

At least one member of the Kardashian clan has decided that she wants to make a name for herself.

    Her own name.

Kendall Jenner is forgoing her last name in a bid to separate herself from the Kardashian-Jenner brand.

Despite the names being worth millions thanks to reality television and other business ventures, 18-year-old Jenner has decided that being known simply by her first name will help her modeling career.

Jenner told US Weekly exclusively that it’s a decision she made in 2013, and that she “did it last year at all the castings”.

If this is a decision that Kendall had made months ago, how is it that gossip news sources have only just now gotten wind of it?

It seems that the story originated through Rack.com, the source said to have brought it to everyone’s attention.

One can respect Kendall’s integrity. After all, there are certain other top models who leaned really hard on their families’ names and connections to get ahead.

Modeling is NOT an easy industry to break into. It’s even harder for models to stay popular as there are always newer (and younger) faces.

Kendall Jenner feels that the Kardashian-Jenner connection may hurt her career aspirations.

In fact, she’s said that before she dropped her infamous last name, it was really hard to book shows.

“People didn’t want to take a chance on me,” Jenner said in a Teen Vogue interview. “Some people might think that what I’ve done before made it easier for me to get jobs, but it was actually a disadvantage.”

Is it too late for a change?

As Kendall Jenner or just plain Kendall, her association with the Kardashian brand is pretty concrete by this point—it would be very difficult to find a barrage of clients who have NO idea who she is.

  • Kendall Jenner Becomes Simply ‘Kendall?’

Kendall Jenner has made her fashion modeling debut for Vogue. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star models a series of scarves in the Patrick Demarchelier editorial shot for the magazine. It seems with this big modeling debut comes a transformation of sorts as well. Kendall Jenner is now supposedly simply known as ‘Kendall.’

Kendall Jenner’s modeling agency–The Society Management–now shows the popular reality star on its contact sheet of models, and she is dubbed only ‘Kendall.’

Nothing about Kendall being a reality star is mentioned with regard to her Vogue debut. In fact, she has in the past done a lot to distance herself from the Keeping Up With the Kardashians moniker, for fear it might damage her new career.

”What I have has almost worked against me,” she said recently. ”I had to work even harder to get where I wanted because people didn’t take me seriously as a model. Because of the TV show. I went on castings and some people weren’t feeling me because of my name. But it was great when people didn’t recognize me. I was like, ‘Thank you. Please don’t recognize me.”’

How do you suppose Kendall’s mom Kris Jenner and her dad Bruce Jenner will react when they learn that she has possibly dropped her last name? Will they be completely understanding that she must distance herself from the ‘trashy’ aspects of their reality show fame and fortune or do you think they’ll be insulted and very upset with her instead?

Do you think if Kendall Jenner truly becomes just ‘Kendall’ that her one word moniker will have the power of others who have done the same? Think Madonna, Cher, Iman, Beyonce, and more. Will people one day immediately recognize ‘Kendall,’ too?
