  • Elizabeth Berkley, Tiffani Thiessen: ‘Saved by the Bell’ Mini Reunion

Elizabeth Berkley and Tiffani Thiessen will forever be known for their roles as Jessie Spano and Kelly Kapowski on the hit TV show Saved by the Bell. The ladies enjoyed a mini reunion of sorts recently, when they appeared together on Tiffani Thiessen’s new cooking show, Dinner at Tiffani’s.

Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley were joined on the show by CSI: Miami star Emily Procter. Berkley actually appeared on several episodes of CSI: Miami alongside Proctor a few years ago. The three partook of a feast fit for royalty, including orzo salad with corn, arugula and cherry tomatoes, roasted asparagus and roasted chicken with orange glaze, as well as watermelon and champagne cocktails.

Elizabeth Berkley was thrilled to be back together with her Saved by the Bell costar, and this was actually the second time recently that they visited one another. The two met up several weeks ago, thanks to Jimmy Fallon. He arranged for a Saved by the Bell reunion on The Tonight Show that included Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar in addition to Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley. Fallon even joined the gang in performing a hilarious throwback skit.

Elizabeth Berkley shared her excitement over appearing on Tiffani Thiessen’s new cooking show–and about spending time with her dear friend–via an Instagram photo.

She captioned the shot, #Love this #woman @tiffanithiessen !! watch us this Wednesday on her new show on @cookingchannel
    #dinnerattiffanis 10pm ET 7pm PST.”

All this excitment over Elizabeth Berkley and Tiffani Thiessen reuniting–combined with the recent Saved by the Bell sketch on The Tonight Show, likely has fans wondering if a Saved by the Bell reunion show might one day be in the cards.

Do you suppose Tiffani Thiessen will one day host Mario Lopez or Mark-Paul Gosselaar on Dinner at Tiffani’s?

  • Tiffani Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley Cook Up ‘Saved by the Bell’ Reunion

Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley recently cooked up a mini Saved by the Bell reunion. Berkley appeared as a guest on Tiffani Thiessen’s new cooking show, Dinner at Tiffani’s. Her show appears on the Cooking Channel.

It wasn’t so long ago that Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley met on the set of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, alongside former Saved by the Bell costars Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar for a hilarious sketch.

Actress Emily Procter joined the Saved by the Bell ladies on the March 4th episode of Dinner at Tiffani’s, and the three cooked up grilled ciabatta with ricotta and snap peas, roasted chicken with an orange glaze, watermelon-champagne cocktails, orzo salad with corn, arugula, and cherry tomatoes, and roasted asparagus with an orange glaze.

Both Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley shared Instagram photos of their time together.

Elizabeth Berkley captioned the following shot–found on her Instagram account, #Love this #woman @tiffanithiessen !! watch us this Wednesday on her new show on @cookingchannel #dinnerattiffanis 10pm ET 7pm PST”

Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley played the Saved by the Bell roles of Kelly Kapowski and Jessie Spano, respectively.

Do you expect Saved by the Bell fans tuned in to Dinner at Tiffani’s last week to see theseladies together once again?

  • ‘Saved by the Bell’ Cast Visits With Jimmy Fallon on ‘Tonight Show’

Saved by the Bell was among the most popular TV shows of the very late 1980s and the early 1990s. The show’s cast–minus Dustin Diamond, who played the role of Screech–recreated a hilarious sketch during a reunion of sorts on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.

Characters Kelly Kapowski (played by Tiffani Thiessen), A.C. Slater (played by Mario Lopez) and Jessie Spano (played by Elizabeth Berkley) set the scene with talk of an upcoming Valentine’s Day dance. The gang is bummed, however, when their new friend Jimmy (played, of course, by Jimmy Fallon) won’t be attending the dance, because he is planning to head to New York City to try out for a role on Saturday Night Live. Jimmy adds that he might even work toward hosting his own talk show and that he wants to go on a date with Nicole Kidman. Kidman recently floored Jimmy Fallon (in real life–not the Saved by the Bell sketch) when she told him a get-together the two had at his apartment many years earlier was actually a date. He apparently didn’t dress appropriately and played video games part of the time she was visiting, thinking she was just a pal stopping by.

Jimmy Fallon fit in with the cast of Saved by the Bell perfectly, and it’s actually quite amazing how many of the cast members haven’t aged much since the show’s last episode in 1993. Mario Lopez still most resembles his younger self, but Tiffani Thiessen, A.C. Slater, and Elizabeth Berkley are looking rather ageless as well.

If you missed The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night, you missed a great show. The Saved by the Bell cast reunion was no doubt a huge treat for those who followed the show more than two decades ago.

  • Tiffani Thiessen Cooks Up Nostalgia On New Show

Tiffani Thiessen is ready for her new cooking show to premiere on The Cooking Channel later this month.

Tiffani Thiessen, best known for her roles on Saved By The Bell and Beverly Hills 90210, will play her favorite role, that of a housewife, cook, and dinner host.

Dinner at Tiffani’s will follow Tiffani Thiessen as she reconnects with her former cast mates and her other celebrity friends and showcases her skills at preparing for dinner parties.

Tiffani Thiessen will also feature lovely recipes on her show.

Tiffani Thiessen will catch up with famous co-stars like Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, and Jason Priestley.

She will also make dinner for Lance Bass, Seth Green, and Nathan Fillion, among others.

Dinner at Tiffani’s really sounds like a fun show!

However, Tiffani Thiessen isn’t the only celebrity to work their 90’s fame into a great cooking show.

For example, Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire alum and Dancing with the Stars fan favorite Alfonso Ribeiro will be hosting a show called Unwrapped 2.0.

In that show, Ribeiro will showcase different yummy snack foods featured on The Cooking Channel.

Valerie Bertinelli is co-hosting Kids Baking Championship which premiered this week.

It’s a good time to be a star from the 90’s! It seems the nation is in the mood for nostalgia. Perhaps all this 90’s talk prompted Jimmy Fallon to call up Tiffani Thiessen, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and Dennis Haskins to reprise their roles for this amazing Saved by the Bell skit.

Tiffani Thiessen managed to get back into her Bayside cheerleader uniform even though she is pregnant.

The cast poked fun at the real-life careers of Elizabeth Berkley and Jimmy Fallon, and we also got to relive Jesse’s “I’m so excited” scene and AC Slater’s ballet moves.

Life is good right now for Tiffani Thiessen! Good luck to her on her new cooking show!

  • Kelly Kapowski Gives Chris Paul a Present, Jealous?

If you had a crush on Kelly Kapowski – and who didn’t – you have something in common with NBA star Chris Paul.

The Clippers point guard revealed his passion for the Saved by the Bell character when he posted a signed picture of Kelly by the actress who played her, Tiffani Thiessen, on his Instagram account.

“Chris, Happy Birthday, my dear,” that actress wrote on the picture.

“This is easily one of the best Bday gifts I’ve ever received in my 29yrs on this Earth!!! #KellyKapowski #My1stLove #WeWereTogether #SheJustDidntKnowIt #CuzImSavedByTheBell,” Paul posted with the picture.

And Paul isn’t the only athlete who has the hots for Kelly. Tennis pro Andy Roddick left a message for the basketball star on his Twitter page.

“I’l [sic] literally am having issues containing my jealousy … Back off CP!” he posted not long after Paul shared his gift.

If you don’t remember, Kelly Kapowski was the bubbly and charming brunette student on the show. She was adored by many, but only had eyes for Zack Morris, played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar.

Twitter also showed its love for the character:

Although the show ended in 1993, Kapowski is always mentioned whenever the topic of hot 1990s teenage starlets comes up. In fact, a picture of the character with her flowing locks and gorgeous smile is emblazoned on a T-shirt that a variety of celebs have been seen donning.

Case in point: Dancing With the Stars pro Val Chmerkovskiy wore the shirt during a dance rehearsal. The funny part about it is that his partner was Elizabeth Berkley, who played Jessie Spano, on the show.
