  • Katt Williams Accused of Threatening to Kill Bodyguard

Katt Williams was released on $60,000 bond after a hearing Wednesday.

Williams, 44, is accused of threatening to kill his bodyguard during an attack inside his Georgia home.

According to ABC News, the judge reportedly told Williams to stay away from the bodyguard and his family, and to lay off drugs and alcohol.

Williams faces charges of terroristic threats, false imprisonment, aggravated assault and possession of marijuana.

A statement from the Hall County Sheriff’s Department alleges that Williams made a threat to the bodyguard on Feb. 28, while friend Tatiana Smith, 24, beat the bodyguard with a baseball bat and choked him. The altercation reportedly arose when the bodyguard refused to engage in criminal activity, although authorities didn’t say what that activity was.

A day after the alleged incident with the bodyguard, Williams was accused of attacking an employee at a swimming pool supply store during an argument.

Williams’ attorney Drew Findling said the arrest came more than a week after the alleged assault and is indicative of the uncertainty surrounding the case.

“I think when it takes nine days to make a determination, that says something about the quality of the case,” he said.

He also questioned how the bodyguard could be overpowered by a 90-pound woman swinging a souvenir baseball bat.

Williams was taken into custody Tuesday evening, after deputies searched his home about 90 miles from Atlanta and found large amounts of marijuana, along with several firearms inside the home.

Smith and another woman also face charges. Smith is charged with aggravated assault and possession of marijuana and an anti-anxiety drug.

Lena Smith, 40, is charged with marijuana possession.

  • Katt Williams Arrested Again–Second Time in Two Weeks

Katt Williams, actor and comedian, was arrested for the second time in two weeks. He was arrested and charged Tuesday with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment against his bodyguard, Corey Dixon.

Deputy Nicole Bailes with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia explained during an interview with WSBTV.com in Atlanta.

“It’s our understanding that Mr. Williams was encouraging our victim, Mr. Dixon, to engage in some criminal activity in the Atlanta area,” he said.

Corey Dixon told authorities that when he refused to commit the crimes Katt Williams insisted upon, he was taken back to Williams’ home and assaulted.

According to deputies, Katt Williams directed 24-year-old Tatiana Smith to choke Corey Dixon and beat him with a baseball bat.

“He ordered the assault and stood there while the assault was happening. It is my understanding that there were firearms present. Mr. Williams had a firearm on his person,” Deputy Bailes said.

Katt Williams is accused of threatening to kill his bodyguard as this heinous assault was taking place.

This assault allegedly took place a day before Katt Williams was arrested for punching an employee at a pool supply store. It took a week to arrest Williams on the assault and criminal threatening charges because of the investigation.

“Obviously, Mr. Williams has been in the news quite a bit, and we wanted to preserve the integrity of our investigation. When we initially received this, we wanted to follow up with this. A lot of our witnesses live out of state,” Deputy Bailes added.

Katt Williams is clearly having some issues controlling his anger. In addition to these arrests, he was involved in a brawl on stage during a Philadelphia rap concert. That took place in the past couple of weeks as well. Katt WIlliams hasn’t yet been charged with anything for that incident.

Katt Williams has a long history of violence. In 2014, he was accused of attacking members of a family who approached him on stage following one of his shows. The family believed they were going to get autographs and maybe snap a photo with the funny man. Instead they had chairs thrown at them, and when they tried to leave, Katt Williams sent his entourage after them. The family filed a lawsuit following the incident.

It’s clear that Katt Williams isn’t nearly as funny in real life as he is on stage. How many acts of violence will the actor and comedian have to be a part of before his fan base starts to dwindle?

  • Katt Williams Arrested, Once Again

Comedian Katt Williams is building up a criminal record almost as impressive–and odd–as Lindsay Lohan’s.

Williams was arrested on Sunday night after an incident at a Seattle bar turned ugly. Witnesses say he threatened the bar owner with a pool cue, threw a lit cigarette into a woman’s face through a car window, and threw rocks at a car, among other things. He was taken into custody after police were called and was released early this morning.

This is the third arrest for the comedian in three months; he is also accused of hitting a man over the head with a bottle after one of his shows and has had a string of strange run-ins with police, including the time he pulled a gun on Faizon Love and allegedly beat up his female assistant, who is now suing him. He’s also involved in a lawsuit filed by his fans, who say a show he put on in Oakland, California in November only lasted a few minutes and dissolved into a fight between the performer and a heckler. Lastly, another altercation this past Friday involved three fans who Williams claims forced their way into his dressing room to demand an autograph.

  • Katt Williams Sued For Crappy Show

Katt Williams Sued For Crappy Show

Comedian Katt Williams is finding himself on the wrong side of the law quite a bit lately, and the latest news is that his recent performance in Oakland, California, was so bad the audience is taking him to court.

Williams’ odd behavior began back in October, when police were called to his house over a violent dispute with his female assistant, Melissa Ishage. Ishage claims Williams flew into a rage and began punching her, causing her injury. She is currently engaged in a lawsuit with him for $5 million; Williams was reportedly not arrested at the time.

He was, however, arrested for smashing a bottle over someone’s head at a club earlier this month; it was his second arrest in as many months.

Then came the weird performance. The show–on November 16th–lasted just ten minutes before Williams jumped off the stage, got into an argument with an audience member, and began taking his clothes off before attempting to engage in a fight with several others. Those in attendance have filed a class-action lawsuit against him and are seeking an unspecified amount in damages, citing a “non performance”.

Williams has declined to comment on the incident or on the arrests.
