  • Katherine Webb Shames Body Shamers Who Wrote Nasty Comments On Her Bikini Pic

Katherine Webb posted a pic of her in a black bikini recently that drew tons of mean and nasty comments.

Katherine Webb didn’t call her friends crying or dive headfirst into a tub of rocky road and a Netflix binge.

    Katherine Webb fought back.

The 5’11” brunette former Miss Alabama, who is married to quarterback A.J. McCarron, called out the bullies by posting their own hateful comments to her Instagram.

Katherine Webb intended it to prompt the rude commentators to face their own words.

Katherine Webb said on Good Morning America that she was surprised at the “disgust” that was thrown her way.

Katherine Webb said she had a message for the bullies that posted hateful things on her pic.

She said, “Can you imagine if someone said that to you?”

Do you think Katherine Webb’s retaliation will make cyber trolls think twice before posting hateful comments?

  • Katherine Webb Defends Controversial Skinny Pic After Mean Comments On Instagram

Katherine Webb, former Miss Alabama, was shocked at all of the negative comments she received after posting a bikini photo to Instagram.

The 25-year-old wife of AJ McCarron got over 10,000 likes on the photo, but some people just couldn’t sit idly by and let someone post a bikini pic to Instagram without throwing their opinion, and sometimes hateful comments, at them.

Some of the comments on Katherine Webb’s pic are really hurtful.

“Someone please get her a sandwich. What happened she looked amazing but now is looking anorexic,” said one commentator who is surely perfect-looking.

Another person with obviously zero body issues said, “Have a donut. Make that a dozen.”

Katherine Webb later told ABC News that maybe she could see why people thought she looked too thin in the photo, but the mean comments still stung.

Katherine Webb shot back at the trolls with another Instagram post.

“I was really surprised at the response, just of the amount of disgust and disapproval with the way I looked,” Katherine Webb said.

She added, “It’s a very sensitive issue for me because I dealt with self-esteem issues growing up. I was tall and thin and lanky.”

Katherine Webb used the interview to send a message, saying, “To the bullies and to people that want to say negative things, really think about what you’re saying. Can you imagine if someone said those things to you?”

What do you think about all of the mean comments lobbed at Katherine Webb over her bikini photo?

  • Katherine Webb Talks Self Esteem Issues, Online Bullying

Katherine Webb is a tall, gorgeous model, but that doesn’t mean she’s exempt from the cruel world of internet commenters.

The former beauty queen opened up in an interview with Mario Lopez recently after a photo she posted of herself in a bikini attracted several bullies and left her concerned about the way we treat women who are in the public eye. After being told she was “anorexic and ugly” and that she needed to “eat a hamburger, have a donut”, Katherine said she was reminded of being younger and dealing with self esteem issues.

“This is a topic that is very sensitive to me, because I had self-esteem issues growing up. I was always the tall, awkward, lanky girl, and so it’s very important to me that people not bully each other about their appearance or their bodies. I will never support people bullying other people about their bodies… women that are bullied because of their weight, whether they are 150 to 200 pounds or 110 to 112, it doesn’t matter,” Webb said.

Webb says she has a thyroid issue that causes her weight to fluctuate, but that there is no excuse for the way she was treated.

“Can you imagine if someone said those things to you?” she asked during the interview.

Webb also had a more direct message to the people who left such cruel comments on Instagram:

“To all the middle-aged women who like to leave mean comments on my page about my body, you can gladly skip my page and go somewhere else. I am tall, I eat just fine and also suffer from thyroid problems so don’t make fun of me or my body when you probably have problems of your own.”

Katherine Webb Shows Off Wedding Gown

Katherine Webb posted a photo of her wedding gown to Instagram this week, and fans are excited to see the 25-year old beauty queen in the lovely black-and-white shot from her big day.

Webb married NFL quarterback AJ McCarron earlier this month in Alabama without a whole lot of media attention, so fans of the model have been eagerly awaiting any photos from the event. Webb posted the photo over the weekend, which shows her in profile with her back to the photographer. The gown is a classic strapless style with embroidery along the bodice.

The stunning model also showed off her bikini in a photo posted to the social media site, saying she’d worn it on the couple’s honeymoon.

Webb began getting some attention last year when the cameras focused on her during one of McCarron’s games and ESPN announcer Brent Musberger pointed out how attractive she is.

“Wow, I’m telling you. You quarterbacks, you get all the good-looking women! So, if you’re a youngster in Alabama, start getting a football out and throw it around the backyard with Pops!” Musberger said.

  • Katherine Webb: Stunning Alabama Beauty Engaged

Alabama boys must be feeling a little gloomy this weekend because the gorgeous Katherine Webb is now officially off the market.

The beautiful former Miss Alabama, who was famously singled out during a football game by ESPN announcer Brent Musberger, is engaged to former University of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron.

The couple started dating in 2012 and became engaged Friday in their home state of Alabama at the Beach Club restaurant in Gulf Shores.

McCarron, 23, proposed with a large diamond ring that Webb shared on Twitter. “He designed it himself,” she gushed.

It’s really sweet to hear Webb talk about her fiancé:

That bling isn’t too shabby either.

Katherine went on the Today Show in 2013 to defend Brent Musberger’s comments about her appearance. Many were offended that he went on and on about her looks.

The congratulations have been pouring in on Twitter, along with few regrets by those Alabama boys. There’s even been some commiseration for Musberger.

  • AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb Engaged

AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb Engaged

Former University of Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron got engaged to long-time model girlfriend and former Miss Alabama Katherine Webb Friday. McCarron popped the question at Coast Restaurant at The Beach Club in Gulf Shores, Alabama which was witnessed by other patrons.

McCarron, 23, a Heisman trophy runner-up, is noted for being the first quarterback to win back-to-back consensus national championships in the BCS era, following the 2013 BCS National Championship Game against Notre Dame. McCarron has also been a part of three national title teams under Alabama coach Nick Saban in 2009, 2011, and 2012.

Katherine Webb, 24, gained national notoriety during the 2013 BCS National Championship Game broadcast, in which announcer Brent Musburger began gushing over her as a camera zeroed in on her face as she sat watching the game in the stands. Musburger called a “lovely lady” and “beautiful,” and remarked to his broadcast partner Kirk Herbstreit, “You quarterbacks get all the good-looking women.”

After the proposal, Webb quickly took to Twitter, showing off the ring which McCarron had designed himself:

Judging by the size of the diamond, McCarron is likely banking on a lucrative NFL contract, though some analysts are unsure of how well the quarterback’s collegiate success will translate in the NFL. McCarron is currently ranked fifth heading into the 2014 NFL Draft by NFL Draft Countdown.

After Musburger’s BCS comments, Webb gained a bit of a celebrity status, and appeared as a model in the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Some had regarded Musburger’s comments as sexist, and ESPN spokesperson issued an apology. Though, Webb wasn’t offended and told Matt Lauer that “I think the media has been really unfair to (Musburger). I think that if he would have said that we were hot or sexy or made any derogatory statements like that, I think that would have been a little bit different. But the fact that he said we were beautiful and gorgeous, I don’t see why any woman wouldn’t be flattered by that.”

  • Katherine Webb and AJ McCarron Engaged

Ever since her image was shown all across America during the 2013 B.C.S. National Championship Game, Katherine Webb became instantly famous, and quickly received tons of attention from male fans.

But today those male fans are probably a little disappointed, because Webb and her boyfriend AJ McCarron, the former quarterback for the University of Alabama, are now engaged. Webb shared the news via her Instagram account.

“WE’RE ENGAGEDDD,” wrote Webb, who won the 2012 Miss Alabama pageant. She also competed in several other pageants, including Miss USA 2012, where she finished in the top 10.

Webb also revealed that McCarron chose the ring on his own and had absolutely no help at all. “He designed it himself,” wrote the 5’11” beauty.

In a 2013 interview with Vanity Fair, Webb spoke a little bit about instantly becoming famous after her image was shown during the B.C.S. Championship Game. She says due to all the pageants in her life, it’s easy for her to deal with that kind of attention and it doesn’t bother her at all.

“Before all this happened, I spent a lot of time doing modeling as well as pageants and so I’ve been trained on how to handle that type of attention,” said Webb. “My first time being on national television was at the B.C.S. National Championship Game. I didn’t know they were going to show me on national television, so there I was wearing my No.10 jersey and my jeans.”

In addition, Webb–who was also a contestant on the reality competition Splash–said she had no idea that people would think she looked so good at the B.C.S. game, because she was dressed so casually.

Additionally, the former beauty contestant said being McCarron’s girlfriend has trained her to be in the spotlight a little bit, so it wasn’t a total adjustment when she became famous.

“Yeah, well, I figured if I was going to dress casual with jeans and a jersey, I could at least put makeup on and do my hair,” she said about being on TV for the first time. “Plus, I knew that people already knew who I was as far as me dating A.J. A lot of people asked to take pictures and things like that. I kind of already made it a point to look nice.”

  • Katherine Webb Criticized for Photo Shot During Game

Katherine Webb is known for turning heads, but yesterday she received attention for other reasons.

The 24-year-old former Miss Alabama was spotted at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Thursday night, cheering on her boyfriend AJ McCarron, the quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Although her presence was not a surprise; after all, she’s previously talked about her sweetie’s games, her apparent lack of emotion – and interest – was.

The stunner was photographed with a less-than-thrilled look on her gorgeous face during the high-stakes game. But before the relationship rumor mills starts up, let’s a take a look at what was probably really going on.

For starters, this was McCarron’s last game throwing for his school, which is obviously a bittersweet occasion, full of conflicting emotions. Also, his fourth championship ring was on the line and his team was losing, and ultimately lost 45 to 31. Webb’s lackluster expression was likely just her displaying a serious case of nerves for her main man.

Her tweet during the game is a far cry from a girl who could care less about her honey’s special game. Here is the beauty queen and McCarron’s mom mugging for the camera:

Additionally, Webb has always been vocal about supporting McCarron and has many interviews to prove it, including this:

Webb and McCarron have faced their fair share of relationship rumors, but for now, they seem to be dancing in the end zone.

  • Katherine Webb Nervous About Alabama-Auburn Game

This Saturday is going to be a first for Katherine Webb, and she’s pretty nervous. Webb will be attending the Iron Bowl for the first time.

For those who may be a bit unaware, the Iron Bowl is the annual game played by rivals the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Auburn Tigers.

Webb will have a difficult time because she attended Auburn University, but her boyfriend, star quarterback AJ McCarron, plays for Alabama.

The former Miss Alabama USA can often be seen in the stands cheering on McCarron and the Crimson Tide, and it looks as if this Saturday will be no different.

Last week Webb told USA TODAY Sports, “This is the first actual game, Iron Bowl, that I will be attending. I don’t know what to expect and I’m really nervous.”

It seems a bit odd that Webb, who graduated from Auburn in 2011, has never actually been to the Iron Bowl, but it’s true. Webb said, “I didn’t get to go to the Iron Bowl whenever I was in school because I ended up having to sell my student ticket because I was running low on cash.”

Webb isn’t nervous about actually attending the game.

Said Webb, “Even in my experience at Auburn, it’s been very, very rare to see fans that have been rude or anything like that.” She added, “I’m not nervous about the fans. Of course I want to see AJ have that fourth championship ring, so I really want them to do well. That’s what I’m nervous about. I’m not nervous about his talent or abilities as a player. Of course, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous about the outcome.”

It should be quite an exciting game. Alabama has an 11-0 record, while Auburn has a 10-0 record. The winner will play in Atlanta for the SEC Championship.

If Alabama wins, this could lead McCarron to his fourth national championship ring.

“Honestly, I don’t know what to expect. AJ just in his protective nature, we talked about it (Wednesday) night. And he was like, ‘I’m concerned. I don’t know what the fans are gonna do.’ And I’m like, ‘It’s OK. I’ll be sweet, genuine and nice like I always am if anything were to happen,’’ said Webb.

You can watch the game this Saturday, November 30, at 3:30 p.m. EST on CBS.

  • Katherine Webb And AJ McCarron Did Not Break Up

Despite what some of you may have heard, Katherine Webb and her boyfriend AJ McCarron have not broken up. Webb is a model, beauty queen and TV personality. She gained the attention of much of the country when appearing in the crowd during the 2012 BCS National Championship Game. The former Miss Alabama’s appearance was significant after being presented as AJ McCarron’s girlfriend, who is the star quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Webb jumped to a whole new level of fame, after getting coverage on the BCS National Championship Game and guys all over the country were immediately jealous of the star quarterback’s gal. After this, she also received several modeling deals and even an appearance on Splash, a reality show on ABC.

Recently, multiple news outlets have declared that the couple have broken up, but Webb came out and officially denied that rumor. Radar Online initially broke the story of their break up and has since had to update that with the real story. Her and McCarron are still very happy together, but it seems that the rumor may have started from Webb not appearing at some of McCarron’s games. He has simply been busy in an active football season and she has been away working as a model. While McCarron is still a student and also has to go on the road some of the time to play his football games, Webb is currently in New York City for a fashion shoot, according to E Online.

Webb and McCarron were both shocked to hear that they had broken up and after fans of both of theirs reacted strongly to the news over twitter, they chimed in themselves, denying the rumors. Webb recently appeared on the cover of Access Magazine, along with McCarron’s mother, Dee Dee Bonner, being labeled as Football’s Femme Fatales, according to Bleacher Report. This hardly seems like the thing one would do if they were on the verge of a break-up.

They were even rumored to be nearing an engagement previously but she has downplayed that and explained “I promise you, you guys will know when that time comes.” The couple continues to play it casual as McCarron finishes up his time in school and will likely head to the NFL after his senior season. Alabama is currently No.1 in the country and they won the national championship under coach Nick Saban in 2011 and 2012, and hope to do it again this year.

  • Katherine Webb Not Engaged to AJ McCarron

Katherine Webb Not Engaged to AJ McCarron

Model Katherine Webb this week put a damper on rumors that she and University of Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron are currently engaged. The rumors had been sparked by photos that showed her wearing a large ring on her left ring finger while attending a golf tournament in Alabama.

The reality star told the Associated Press today that, though she’s not engaged, she and McCarron are “doing great.” She also promised that the public will be notified “when that time comes.”

Webb gained nationwide fame back in January when she was ogled by sportscasters during the BCS National Championship game. She gained hundreds of thousands of Twitter followers overnight and her modeling career has taken off. Since that time, she has participated in the ABC primetime reality diving competition Splash, though she was forced out of the competition by a minor injury. Webb also made headlines in May when People magazine reported that she only eats 1,120 calories per day. She has since denied the claim.

  • Katherine Webb Reportedly Eats Only 1,120 Calories Per Day

After sports commentators oogled her at a college football game, Katherine Webb, the current Miss Alabama, found fame on social media. Since that time, Webb’s modeling career has taken off and she has starred in the ABC reality TV show Splash. Webb quit Splash, a televised high-dive competition, last month after suffering a minor injury.

All of this success is heavily based on Webb’s good looks, which it turns out she is very disciplined about maintaining. Webb this week told People magazine that she has been “eating healthy for about six or seven years.” This means, according to People, that she eats only about 1,120 calories a day. “It’s all about self-control,” the 5 foot, 11 inch tall Webb told the magazine.

As for what those 1,120 calories consist of, Webb mentioned smoothies, salad, fruit, chicken fingers, and sweet potato fries. Not on the menu are any sweets, such as as cake and cookies, as well as any type of bread.

Though 1,120 calories may not seem exorbitantly low, Webb is also reported to work out (with a focus on cardio) at least three times per week. With that in mind, People has also quoted a nutritionist as stating Webb could easily bump her daily calories to around 1,700.

Though the People report quotes Webb, the beauty queen has now used her Twitter account to contradict the story, stating that she loves chocolate too much to eat so few calories per day:

  • Katherine Webb Quits Reality TV Show ‘Splash’

Reality TV shows have been putting celebrities through their paces for years now, but perhaps no series has asked more of competitors than Splash. The new network show tasks celebrities (not all of whom are fit) with mastering the Olympic sport of high diving.

As with any Olympic sport, the risk of injury is ever-present, and now one competitor has withdrawn due to doctor’s orders.

Model and beauty queen Katherine Webb has now withdrawn from Splash. On this week’s show, Webb described her poor landing on last week’s show, and how it caused her pain. She is also shown becaming frustrated during her training. Webb took the stage to say,” I went to the doctor and, unfortunately, he told me that I’m out for the competition.”

Webb’s withdrawal is not the first of the series. In the show’s third episode, former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson quit the show over her fear of heights.

Splash producers used Webb’s departure to introduce some drama, bringing back comedian Louie Anderson, who had been booted from the competition last week.

  • AJ McCarron’s Girlfriend Amasses 100K+ Twitter Followers Overnight

Last night, the University of Alabama embarrassed Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship game, defeating the Fighting Irish 42-14 in a matchup that wasn’t even as close as the score signals – and that’s saying a lot. Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron had a fantastic game, throwing for 264 yards and 4 touchdowns – but it was his girlfriend that stole some of the spotlight.

Katherine Webb, who owns the title of Miss Alabama, was present at the game. She also happens to be McCarron’s girlfriend.

Miss Webb stole the show during the first quarter of last night’s game when the camera panned to her and McCarron’s mother sitting in the stands. Commentators Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit went a little over the top on the “whoas” and “wows,” according to the majority of the Twitterverse.

“If you’re a youngster in Alabama, start getting the football out and throw it around the backyard with pop,” said Musburger. Of course, the logic here is that star quarterbacks often get the girl. The girl. We know what you mean Brent, but tone it down a little:

That brief exposure was enough to help Webb amass 90,000+ Twitter followers in three hours. As of this morning, she currently boasts 132,000+ followers and that number is climbing.

Miss Alabama and her champion QB boyfriend. If that isn’t as American as apple pie, I don’t know what it.
