  • Katie Holmes Turns Coy When James Corden Asks Which “Dawson’ Creek” Costar Was Better Kisser

Katie Holmes was coy on Wednesday night while a guest on James Corden’s Late Late Show. Along with fellow guests Judd Apatow and Ryan Reynolds, the group chatted about Dawson’s Creek–the hit TV show on which Katie Holmes became famous.

Corden stirred things up a bit when he asked Katie which of her costars–James Van Der Beek or Joshua Jackson–was the better kisser.

Katie Holmes turned the tables on James Corden, however.

“Who do you think?” she coyly asked him.

“I think Der Beek, because I would get straight up in his grill,” James Corden said.

“I went to high school with Josh, and I can tell you right now, he’s a terrific kisser,” Ryan Reynolds said. He and Joshua Jackson attended Kitsilano Secondary School in Vancouver together.

“Well, I mean if he says so…” Katie Holmes said, laughing at the foolish things the three men were saying.

Those who remember the days of Dawson’s Creek likely recall that Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson were dating when the show first aired. That would have made choosing Van Der Beek as the better kisser a bit uncomfortable.

Another uncomfortable topic that came up on The Late Late Show was how kissing an actor on TV compares with a real-life first kiss.

“It’s so awkward because with a first kiss in [real] life, if it doesn’t go well you can kinda be like, ‘Oh I gotta get home,’ or ‘thanks.’ You never have to deal with that person again,” Katie Holmes explained. “But on screen, you’re gonna have to have lunch and you’re probably have to work together tomorrow, so it’s a little bit [awkward].”

Were you a Dawson’s Creek fan? Do you remember a much younger Katie Holmes when she starred on the TV show?

  • Katie Holmes Talks Kissing “Dawson’s Creek” Costars, Who Was the Better Kisser?

Katie Holmes was a guest on The Late Late Show on Wednesday night, and she chatted with James Corden–along with fellow guests Judd Apatow and Ryan Reynolds–about her time on Dawson’s Creek. The talk soon turned to kissing, and the question arose about which of her former costars–James Van Der Beek or Joshua Jackson–was the better kisser?

Playing coy, Katie Holmes turned the tables on Corden.

“Who do you think?” she asked him.

“Well, I mean if he says so…” Katie Holmes said, laughing at the foolishness the three men conjured.

Something else that’s awkward is the rumor flying around (yes, it’s still out there) that claims Katie Holmes is dating Jamie Foxx.

Do you think there’s any truth to the rumor?

  • Diane Kruger Sends Sweet Anniversary Message To Long-Time Boyfriend, Joshua Jackson

Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson have celebrated nine years of being together, which is a serious accomplishment for a Hollywood couple.

An even bigger accomplishment is that Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson seem to still be in love after so long.

Diane Kruger sent a sweet message to Joshua Jackson via Instagram to announce to the world that they are still in love.

In the lovely sentimental post, Diane Kruger said, “Happy Birthday to this adorable towhead who became my handsome man ! And happy 9 year Anniversary too. You make me appreciate life so much more and I’m so happy you found me in this crazy world.”

All that love between Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger is so amazing after that amount of time!

It’s even more impressive after a shaky start when Joshua Jackson met Diane Kruger’s mother for the first time.

According to Diane Kruger, the story goes, “I’m from a very small village in Germany so I don’t usually bring boys back unless they’re somewhat serious. He came back about six months into us dating.”

She continued, “It’s a tradition in Germany when you come home to have coffee and cake. It’s very German. So I prepped him. I said, ‘You have to have cake and you have to have coffee, even if you don’t like it.’”

Summer is here my friends…hello BBQ season! On my way! Jan, throw on the ribs, I'm starving 🙂

Just when Jackson and Diane Kruger thought things were going well, Kruger’s mother threw a wrench in it.

Diane Kruger explained, “Then my mom goes, ‘Ahh, wait. I have something for you.’ She goes into the office and comes back with this classified folder of internet clippings of Josh with his mugshot. She thought it would be cute to go, ‘So, I see you’ve been arrested in 1997 at a hockey game. It says, ‘Whose fault was it?’”

Shaky start! But, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson must have moved passed it somehow!

What do you think of Diane Kruger’s sweet message?

  • Katie Holmes Not All That Keen On a ‘Dawson’s Creek’ Reunion — ‘I Don’t Want Them to Grow Up’

Katie Holmes is not all that eager to see a reunion or reboot of Dawson’s Creek any time soon.

The 36-year-old actress told Yahoo! Style that there are no plans for a Dawson’s Creek reunion and doesn’t want to revisit the characters all grown up.

“I don’t know, does it work today?” Holmes told fashion editor Joe Zee. “I don’t want them to grow up. You know, it’s kind of like your parents — they never get out of their fifties, that’s where they are.”

When we last left the Dawson’s crew, which included Joey (Katie Holmes), Leery (James Van Der Beek), Jen Lindley (Michelle Williams), Pacey Witter (Joshua Jackson), and Jack McPhee (Kerr Smith), among others, they were in their mid-20’s. The finale in 2003 actually fast-forwarded from college to seeing the characters out in the world.

In the finale of the series, Katie Holmes‘ character was living in New York City as a book editor. She eventually chose Pacey over Dawson.

“We just did it, we all enjoyed it,” Katie Holmes said of the five years she spent on the show. “It was of a certain time, it was pre-Internet. There was an innocence there.”

Just because she is not all that keen for a reunion doesn’t mean Katie Holmes doesn’t enjoy running into her former cast mates from time to time.

When asked if she sees her cast mates, Katie Holmes responded, “Every now and then…. I just saw Michelle, I just saw her in Cabaret, she was amazing. So we all run into each other now and then.”

  • Katie Holmes Talks ‘Dawson’s Creek,’ ‘All We Had’

Katie Holmes spoke with Elle Canada recently, and shared how she never moved past playing Joey Potter on the hit show Dawson’s Creek.

“I don’t know if I have moved past it, but I don’t really care,” she says candidly. “I had a ball doing it, and it’s really nice to be a part of something that did affect people.”

In addition to launching Katie Holmes’ career, Dawson’s Creek launched the careers of some of her co-stars as well. James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, and Joshua Jackson all got their big breaks on the WB show.

“It created a lot of opportunities for all of us,” Holmes said.

These days Katie Holmes is enjoying a new opportunity–one of directing a film. Her directorial debut, All We Had, is based on a novel by Annie Weatherwax. She will also star in the film, which is said to be a mother-daughter drama.

“There aren’t as many movies being made, period, so the challenge is to create projects for yourself,” she said during her Elle interview. “Sometimes offers are flying in, and sometimes they’re not.”

Would Katie Holmes consider a Dawson’s Creek reunion show if the rest of the cast members were game? Michelle Williams would love it–even though her character died.

“I would very happily do a reunion show, I don’t know what it would be,” Williams said at a Comic-Con press conference for Oz: The Great and Powerful a couple of years back. “My character died in the end, so there are certain limitations for me. It’s either I come back as a ghost or I’m shot through a lot of gauzy, hazy light as my 19-year-old self.”

CBS News reports that Katie Holmes did in fact express interest in doing a Dawson’s Creek special. How would she ever fit it in between working on All We Had and being a mom to daughter Suri Cruise?

Do you think fans would be excited if the former Mrs. Tom Cruise were to return to the small screen in a reunion episode of Dawson’s Creek? How would a grown up Joey Potter go over these days?

  • Joshua Jackson Says a Dawson’s Creek Reunion Isn’t Out of the Question

Joshua Jackson, James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, and recent Tom Cruise escapee Katie Holmes could possibly reprise their respective roles from the 90’s TV drama “Dawson’s Creek” at some point in the future, explains Jackson. Although most of the cast are currently busy with a host of different projects, they aren’t completely opposed to getting the gang back together for a concentrated jolt of pure 90’s nostalgia. Just don’t expect it to happen anytime soon.

“Well, we killed the show so I don’t think that’s ever going to happen,” Jackson explained to The Hollywood Reporter. “Never say never. If I’m out of work for enough years, absolutely. We’ll be old and grey and nasty by the time [that happens].”

If you are too young to remember the program and/or you have better things to do with your free time, then, chances are, you might be unfamiliar with the teenage shenanigans associated with “Dawson’s Creek”. In order to bring you up to speed with what this show was all about, allow me to present this synopsis for your perusal.

Set in a small coastal, Massachusetts town named Capeside, Dawson’s Creek tells the story of four teenagers as they struggle through adolescence. This is particularly true for 15-year-olds Dawson Leery, an introspective dreamer and Joey Potter, a precocious tomboy unaware of her beauty. Best friends since childhood, they are about to enter that confusing time in life where nothing is the way it was and nothing is as it seems.

When co-star Katie Holmes was asked about a possible reunion last year, she expressed that she had nothing but nice things to say about her time spent down at the titular creek. “It would be fun,” Katie said. “I had so much fun working on that show and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories. A really great group of people.
