  • Josh Holloway, Wife Yessica Kumala Welcome a Baby Boy

Josh Holloway has a lot to be happy about these days. He and his wife Yessica Kumala recently welcomed a second child.

According to CBS News, the 44-year-old actor revealed that his wife had given birth to their son Hunter Lee Holloway six weeks ago.

On Sunday, Mar. 16, Holloway, who is currently promoting his upcoming film Sabotage, shared the news during an interview

“He’s here, he’s upstairs. Six weeks,” he said. The former Lost actor went on to share his perspective of how his wife’s pregnancy differed this time around. “We’re calmer, which makes everything better. Yeah, your first one, you’re definitely full of fear.”

Holloway and Kumala married on October 1, 2004. They also have a 4-year-old daughter, Java Kumala.

Holloway currently stars in the CBS cyber-themed action-adventure television series Intelligence. The series premiered on January 7, 2014. No details have been released as to whether the network plans to renew the series for a second season.

Sabotage is next up on Holloway’s list of premieres. The action thriller/crime drama film, which is loosely based on Agatha Christie’s 1939 mystery novel, And Then There Were None, follows members of an exclusive DEA task force. Following an elaborate drug cartel bust into a safe house, each member of the force find themselves being taken down one by one.

The film, in which Holloway co-stars with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sam Worthington, also features a star-studded cast with notable actors including Olivia Williams, Magic Mike star Joe Manganiello, and Best Man Holiday stars Terrence Howard and Harold Perrineau.

Holloway, along with Schwarzenegger, Manganiello, and the film’s director David Ayer, all took part in a Q&A session for the upcoming film. The three actors who portray a special operations team offered up some insight about the highly anticipated movie. Details about the session were posted to the film’s official Twitter page.

  • Marg Helgenberger Back with ‘Intelligence’

    Marg Helgenberger Back with ‘Intelligence’

Marg Helgenberger returns to television in a new CBS drama costarring Lost‘s Josh Holloway.

The drama, which premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m., centers on Holloway, who plays a high-tech intelligence operative named Gabriel.

Helgenberger plays Lillian Strand, head of a top-secret US government agency in charge of cyber security. She is tasked with the mission of protecting and supervising Gabriel who is capable of mentally infiltrating enemy strongholds thanks to a nano computer chip implanted in his brain. The problem is he could be hacked or infected with a computer virus.

The show highlights moral issues associated with our high-tech way of life.

“I love the questions it’s bringing up because they’re questions we face every day,” said Holloway. “What’s the relationship between our humanity and technology? Do we need a gadget to communicate now? If you’re a teenager, the answer is ‘yes.’ It’s changing the way we relate to the world and how patient or impatient we are with information.”

The 55-year-old actress left CSI in 2012 to explore other acting opportunities, especially on the stage.

“Certainly I adored the cast, crew and writers,” she says. “It wasn’t that I was needing to get out of that situation. But creatively, I felt like I needed to switch it up. I didn’t think about going back into [another TV] series until later because I was really hoping to find a play.”

The redheaded beauty, who’s as well known for her own intelligence as the character she plays, eventually was drawn back to television with the challenging role of Lillian Strand in ‘Intelligence’.

“I have a fair amount of dialogue, and sometimes, it’s not the easiest stuff. There’s a lot of ‘spy speak’ and terminology and acronyms. I’m not bored on this show, not at all.”
