  • Jordana Brewster Remembers Her Friend Paul Walker and Finishing ‘Fast and Furious 7’ for Him

Jordana Brewster of Fast and Furious 7 had some lovely things to say about the late Paul Walker, with whom she starred in the heart-stopping film franchise.

Jordana Brewster made a promotional appearance on Popcorn with Peter Travers on Friday to talk about Walker, who played her on-screen love interest for almost 15 years.

“I remember this guy with blond highlights walking into this room, thinking how gorgeous he was,” Brewster recalled of their first meeting.

Jordana Brewster said what impressed her most about Walker, who ironically died in a car wreck during production in November 2013, is that he did most of his own stunts for this new movie.

“He was truly a black belt and I didn’t know that till ‘Fast 5.’ He was just such a humble dude,” she said. “Not boastful, which is so not Hollywood. That just speaks volumes about him.”

The 34-year-old actress said the news of Paul Walker’s death was impossible to grasp.

“I just couldn’t believe it,” said Jordana Brewster.

It has been reported that the cast were honored and excited to return to production to finish the film for their friend and colleague, and Jordana said the mood on set was special.

“It was very supportive and loving,” said Jordana Brewster. “It wasn’t just about the cast banding together, but also the crew … What was beautiful about the set was everybody tried to maintain a sense of decorum and professionalism, but if one of us lost it suddenly in the makeup chair, we were there to support them.”

  • Jordana Brewster On Filming “Furious 7” After Paul Walker’s Death

Jordana Brewster has a lot to celebrate this weekend with the explosive Thursday night opening of Furious 7, which earned a franchise best $15.8 million in its opening night.

These are exciting times for Jordana Brewster and the rest of the Fast & Furious family!

However, according to Jordana Brewster, who played Paul Walker’s love interest for almost 15 years during filming of the entire Fast & Furious franchise, the success is bittersweet.

Jordana Brewster recently opened up on Popcorn with Peter Travers about what it was like to meet Paul Walker for the first time.

  • Jordana Brewster Proud Of Tribute To Paul Walker By ‘Fast And Furious’ Crew

Jordana Brewster is proud of the way Fast and Furious 7 paid tribute to Paul Walker.

It’s been more than a year since the accident that took Paul Walker’s life, but his Furious co-stars are still coming to grips with the tragedy. “We’ve been a family since 1999 and are fortunate to have one another; it’s what is getting us through this,” the actress explained on how they cope.

Brewster played the late actor’s love interest in the car racing franchise and with the release of Furious 7, talked a little about her feelings.

“He was the most amazing person, and I’m constantly reminded that he is not here,” she admitted in an interview in Bella New York. “It’s very strange and so completely wrong,” she added.

She opened up some more about her co-star, saying “Paul was so genuine and authentic and real and I felt so comfortable around him.”

Paul Walker’s sudden death in 2013 halted production and the stars took a hiatus. Brewster talked about how crucial that break was after that tragedy.

“There was no way in hell we could have shot right after it,” she confessed. “I’m really glad that everyone took that break and I feel like it was necessary because I don’t think anyone knew how we were going to move forward.”

The movie was eventually finished and it became its biggest production so far, as well as a poignant tribute to a man who was an essential part of Fast and Furious. Brewster agrees as well.

“I think it’s a fitting tribute and I think his fans are going to be happy and I’m really glad that people get to see the last thing he did because he’s really good in it,” she happily exclaims.

The Furious 7 stars were out in full force during the premier, with Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez opting to forego their character’s more casual looks for sophisticated silhouettes. Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson also cut fine figures on the red carpet, while taking time to speak out and honor their friend and co-star.

  • MTV Movie Awards: Paul Walker Remembered

On April 13, during the MTV Movie Awards, Jordana Brewster paid tribute to her long-time co-star and friend Paul Walker, who was tragically killed in a fiery car crash last year.

Brewster and Walker started working together 15 years ago during the making of the original Fast and Furious movie. They played each other’s love interest on set, and remained close friends off set.

“This past November, tragedy struck when Paul Walker’s life shockingly ended,” Jordana said. “The immense outpouring of grief around the world was a reflection of the kind of man Paul was. He was so, so special. I was lucky enough to work with him over the last 15 years and witness the generosity of his heart every day I was with him. He was humble, he thought about others. Whether you knew Paul for five minutes or a close friend, he made you feel like the most important person in the world,” she continued.

“For Paul, every day was an adventure to be tackled and he wanted to make a difference in this world. Whether he was tagging great white sharks for research or helping victims of natural disasters through his organization Reach Out Worldwide, Paul’s kindness was pure. He never asked for credit or glory. He was just a really good guy.”

Her words touched the millions of people worldwide who have been mourning Paul since the fatal crash. “His charm, wit, spirit and his beautiful smile will live because he will always be on our hearts and he will remain an inspiration to live life to the fullest.”

After her speech, a tribute video was played that showed clips of Walker throughout his career with voiceovers from Vin Diesel. The video ended with a quote from Walker that read: “When you put good will out there, it’s amazing what can be accomplished.”

Jordana Brewster, who plays the role of Mia Toretto in the film series, spoke about how difficult it’s going to be for her and the rest of the cast to start filming again, since all of them have worked with Walker for such a long time.

However, the dark haired actress, who also plays on the television series Dallas, says it’s important for her to begin filming Fast & Furious again, since that’s one of the best ways she knows how to pay homage to Walker.

“I’m sure it will be very bittersweet,” said Brewster, when she sat down for an interview at a Marie Claire Fresh Faces event. “We all just want to honor Paul going back.”

The reason Brewster says she’ll have mixed emotions is because she’s excited about reuniting with her Fast & Furious cast mates, since it’s one of the only times they get to see each other. But going to the set will also be a harsh reminder that their longtime friend and colleague’s life was cut so short.

Additionally, the Panama native said she’s thankful for the time she had with Walker since she had the unique privilege of seeing him grow from a young eager actor to a loving and altruistic man.

“I just remember seeing this stud walk in the room and he had this bleached out hair,” Brewster recalled.

“I met him as a baby and I saw him grow into an awesome, amazing, charitable man….It’s not often you get to work with someone for so many years and he was so exemplary in the way he lived. He was more beautiful inside than out.”

She remembers him as a sweet and loving human being and is very hurt by the loss. Several of Paul Walker’s co-stars in The Fast And The Furious have now taken the time to issue a statement, remembering him as a great man who took great pride as a family man.

Tyrese Gibson has been seen tearing up at the funeral, and recently Dwayne Johnson spoke of his bond over fatherhood with the late actor.

Paul Walker died on Sunday, November 30th in a fatal car accident. It has been very hard on the other cast members of the film, and also forced the production of Fast And Furious 7 to shut down as the director and cast members grieve, deciding what to do next with the film.

  • Jordana Brewster Is Heartbroken Over Co-Star’s Death

Jordana Brewster was just as heartbroken as everyone else when her love interest on the Fast and Furious franchise was killed Saturday. Paul Walker was in a tragic car crash that cost him his life, and now Brewster has released a statement about her co-star and friend’s untimely death.

“Paul was an enormous presence in my life for the past fourteen years,” Brewster said. “While many would be satisfied with material success it made Paul more convinced of the need to help others. He never spoke of his immense generosity or philanthropic endeavors unless I prodded, however. This is what made Paul, Paul.”

Brewster continued: “He lived with integrity, humanity and humility and seemed most happy when talking about his daughter, Meadow. I don’t know anyone who lived each moment more fully and loved life more than Paul; making his loss all the more heartbreaking.”

On Sunday she posted a tweet on her personal Twitter account saying: “Paul was pure light. I cannot believe he is gone.”

Dwayne Johnson, another one of Walker’s co-stars, also spoke out about his friend’s death. “That was one of the interesting things about Paul: his reservations about being in the spotlight and being a star, whatever the definition of that may be,” he said. “He was motivated by work that allowed him to take care of his family, number one, and that also allowed him the power and the leverage to help people in need and in crisis.”

“It was always the number one topic we would talk about,” Johnson continued. “We would talk about silly guy things, his fast cars and my pickup trucks, or we would talk about the beautiful energy of Hawaii – but it always ultimately came back to family. And very specifically the beautiful and important bond between a father and his daughter, and how we both realized that over the years. Not surprisingly, when I got the news that he had passed away, the first words out of my mouth were, “He has a daughter.” It’s very sad. We can’t help but to hope that their final time together was beautiful and strong and an amazing memory.”

Johnson also took to Twitter not long after Walker’s death to offer his condolences to Walker’s family.

    Jordana Brewster Welcomes Baby Boy

“Fast and Furious” star, Jordana Brewster and her husband, Andrew Form, have just welcomed the newest edition to their family via surrogacy: a sweet baby boy.

A rep for the actress told ABC that the two “are excited to announce the birth of their son, Julian Brewster-Form. The parents are overjoyed.” Julian will be welcomed by his canine siblings, Labradors Henry and Ella.

Brewster and Form met on the set of “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning” in 2005 and started secretly dating. “We started dating in secret – you know, hanging out in my trailer – because it would have been unprofessional otherwise. But every day, Andrew wore these work boots to the set, and if I was lying down in the shot or there was equipment in the way, I’d look for his shoes. It was comfortable just to know he was nearby.” The couple fell in love and were married in 2007 in the Caribbean on Nevis Island. Brewster said that she always wanted to have kids.

“I definitely want to have kids. I want two. I grew up with a sister, but I know Andrew would love boys, but I’ll take what I can get. One thing that I’ve always sort of loved and been enamoured by is the idea of having twins. My dad was a twin, so it runs in the family. Fingers crossed. So we’re thinking about having kids but I don’t know when it’ll happen. I feel very ready now”, Jordana told Latina Magazine earlier this year.

  • Jordana Brewster Gives Birth To First Child

Jordana Brewster welcomed a baby boy via surrogate along with her husband, Andrew Form.

The couple have been married for six years and hinted not long ago that they were ready to add to their family.

I feel very ready now,” the actress said earlier this year.

The baby boy–Julian Brewster-Form–may not have an easy time of it if he wants to follow in his actor-mom’s footsteps; the “Fast And Furious” star says she didn’t grow up in a showbiz family and will warn her kids away from it.

“Whenever I have a kid, if he or she says, ‘I want to be an actor,’ I’ll say, ‘Please don’t do it!’” she said. “No one in my family was in show business, so they didn’t know better.”

But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love what she does; Brewster says working on the films through so many sequels has given the cast a family feeling.

“Working on those movies. I work the most with Paul {Walker} and he’s so sweet and hilarious. We were doing green screen in the car and I only drive automatic, so he’s telling me how to shift and what to do. It’s similar to being on a television show, because for Paul and Vin {Diesel} and me—it’s been like 14 years. Which is so crazy! It’s a long time. It’s like a relationship.”
