  • Jinger Duggar Wanted to Escape ’19 Kids and Counting’ Household, Parents Made Her Stay With Abuser Josh Duggar

Jinger Duggar, one of Josh Duggar’s purported sexual molestation victims, wanted to escape the 19 Kids and Counting household for the city when she was 18, but her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, wouldn’t allow it.

Since word has emerged in the past few days about Josh Duggar having molested five underage females–four of whom are his sisters–when he was a teenager, much speculation has arisen about life inside the Duggar family. Fans of the show surely remember when Jinger Duggar made it clear she wanted to leave the 19 Kids and Counting fold, but three years later she is still living with the family.

RadarOnline shared a piece about Jinger Duggar expressing her dream of leaving back in 2012.

“She doesn’t want to live three hours out from civilization,” Jessa Duggar said at the time.

“No! City please city please,” Jinger Duggar pleaded.

Michelle Duggar quickly took control of the situation, explaining to the TLC cameras that Jinger Duggar didn’t want to escape the family–she simply wanted to live ’15 minutes from a Walmart.’

Instead of fostering their daughter’s dream, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar suggested she go stay with her molester brother Josh Duggar instead.

Twitter fans have expressed their concern about Jinger Duggar since word of Josh Duggar’s crimes has emerged.

It’s unlikely Jinger Duggar–or even Jana Duggar, who is also of legal age–will leave the 19 Kids and Counting fold until they marry. That’s been engrained into their very beings, and sadly, so has the forgiveness of their brother’s actions. They’ve spent years living with what Josh Duggar purportedly did to them, and even though the scars no doubt run deep, they’ll probably live by their parents rules. They know nothing else.

Do you hope or expect Jinger Duggar will now escape the 19 Kids and Counting household with the encouragement of her fans?

  • Jana Duggar, John David Duggar Chosen by Josh Duggar for Uncomfortable Date, Jokes About Incest

Jana Duggar and her twin brother John David, of 19 Kids and Counting fame, were chosen by older brother Josh Duggar–now prominent in the media for having sexually molested several minor females, including four of his sisters–to ‘chaperone’ him and then-fiancee Anna on a movie date. An old clip of this event during an episode of 19 Kids and Counting has resurfaced, and might make readers eerily uncomfortable in the wake of his sexual molestation scandal.

It seems Jinger Duggar was initially chosen to serve as chaperone. In the 19 Kids and Counting world, those who are courting aren’t allowed to date without a chaperone–often a sibling. The movie that Josh Duggar and Anna wanted to see required its viewers to be older than Jana Duggar was at that time.

That’s when Josh and Anna chose John David and Jana Duggar to come along instead, and he made a very uncomfortable comment that hinted at incest.

“We chose Jana and John David–we thought why not, have a double date,” Josh Duggar is seen saying to the camera, looking very proud of himself. The video clip then cuts to what appears to be him having a laugh with producers of the show.

“We are from Arkansas, no?” he adds, with a big smile.

It is entirely possible that Jana Duggar and even younger sister Jinger Duggar are among the sisters Josh Duggar sexually molested when he was a teenager. Some have speculated that Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald may be among his victims, too, given the ages they were when he committed the crimes.

Surely clips and sound bites from past episodes of 19 Kids and Counting are bound to surface now that Josh Duggar is in the spotlight for such a negative reason, but this one sort of takes the cake. Filmed in 2008–not that long after Josh was found out and supposedly ‘turned in’ by his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, this is just a little too close for comfort for most people.

If Jana Duggar and her sisters were Josh Duggar’s victims, how do you suppose they felt at the time he made this comment?

  • Jill Duggar, Jessa Duggar Play on Social Media in Wake of Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation Scandal

Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame haven’t made statements in the wake of the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal that hit the media late this week, and resulted in TLC pulling the family’s reality show from the air.

Instead the sisters have played on social media–acting as if they haven’t a care in the world.

Both married now, Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Dillard may very well have been among Josh Duggar’s victims. He reportedly sexually molested four of his own siblings as well as one non-related minor female.

Older sister Jana Duggar might have been another of Josh Duggar’s victims, along with younger sister Jinger Duggar. It’s likely no one will ever know for sure, however, as the police report didn’t name Josh Duggar’s victims because of their ages.

Maybe Jill Duggar and sister Jessa were trying to put on a united front for the 19 Kids and Counting family, and to lend an air of normalcy to the chaos that has taken over their lives.

On Thursday, Jill took to Instagram, sharing a photo of herself with Jessa Duggar Seewald.

“So glad to spend the day with my sista! @jessaseewald #sisters,” she captioned the shot.

That same day, Jessa Duggar shared a photo on her Instagram account of younger sister Joy Duggar.

“Oh, the many random sibling selfies I find on my phone… This time from Joy!” she captioned the picture.

TMZ issued an interesting report in light of the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal. They indicate that TLC might simply fire Josh Duggar and allow the rest of the family to go on with 19 Kids and Counting. This means guaranteed jobs for Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, but it won’t satisfy those who believe Josh Duggar isn’t the only one to blame. Many feel Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are guilty, too, of not only allowing Josh on their TV show, but also of having him continue to live among the remainder of his siblings for so many years after he molested some of them.

Jessa Duggar and sister Jana Duggar are midwives, so they will no doubt have work even if they don’t star on 19 Kids and Counting. Jill Duggar might not be so lucky.

Could the Duggar family survive in any format on TV following this outrageous lie of omission?

What do you se in the 19 Kids and Counting family’s future?

  • Jessa, Jinger, Jill, Jana Duggar May Go On with 19 Kids without Josh

Jessa Dugger — was she one of the Duggar sisters who were molested by brother Josh? What about Jinger, Jill and Jana Duggar? All four of them fall within the age range that would make that possible. And according to reports, four of the five girls that Josh Duggar molested were his sisters.

And what might become of the Duggar sisters if their 19 Kids and Counting television show gets canceled? Is it fair that the actions of Josh Duggar in his youth may now put the fortunes and reputation of his family at risk?

These and many other questions are on the minds of both fans and haters of the 19 Kids and Counting show. There is a sense of fairness and justice that drives opinions on both sides of the conversation about the scandal surrounding the Duggar family the past few days.

Josh Duggar admitted in a statement that he had “acted inexcusably” when he was a 14-year-old. His parents and his wife all characterize his actions as a “mistake.” Conservative friends and fans of the Duggars and their 19 Kids and Counting show say that Josh was young, he has grown, and he should not be demonized for his actions as a minor.

Others say that Josh himself as an individual is not the issue. It is that the Duggar family has and has used their position and celebrity to speak out about what things they disagree with morally. Michelle Duggar has characterized LGBT folks as “child predators.” Some feel that these people should not be put in a position where they are free to throw stones with as wide an audience as they have when they live in glass houses themselves.

So when news hit that TLC had pulled 19 Kids and Counting from its schedule, some claimed that was fair. But now TMZ reports that there is a possibility that the show can continue right on, but without Josh.

“Connected industry sources tell TMZ, TLC is considering a number of options, weighing the pros and cons. One is to cancel the show outright, the other is to just go full steam ahead, but there is real talk about continuing without Josh.”

“Our sources say there’s a strong sense axing Josh would not materially hurt the show. We’re told TLC has done research and it shows the daughters have become the driving force. The weddings of Jill and Jessa were ratings successes, as was the birth of Jill’s baby.”

If Jessa, Jinger, Jill, and Jana can continue on with the show without brother Josh, might that be a compromise that those calling for the shows cancellation can live with?

  • Jinger Duggar: Was She Among ’19 Kids and Counting’ Sibling Josh Duggar’s Molestation Victims?

Jinger Duggar is the fourth in line of the 19 Kids and Counting daughters. This no doubt has some wondering if she was among the siblings Josh Duggar reportedly molested as a teenager.

Fox News reports that Josh Duggar sexually molested four of his female siblings and had one non-relative female victim. Might Jinger Duggar, Jana Duggar, Jill Duggar Dillard, and Jessa Duggar Seewald have been among his victims?

Jinger Duggar is especially close to sister Jessa, and reportedly had a really hard time when Jessa flew the coop last November, marrying Ben Seewald. Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband are now expecting their first baby.

“It was super hard, just those moments right before Jessa got married realising that our relationship was going to change,” Jinger said during an interview with Us Weekly “That was a really tough time.”

19 Kids and Counting matriarch Michelle Duggar says all the siblings are close, and that’s why each feels the absence of those who move out.

“It definitely feels different here at home because whenever there’s one that’s not here there’s that gap,” Michelle shared. “We are such a close-knit family that you notice when one’s not here.”‘

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar were well aware of what Josh Duggar did to his victims. They prayed with him and sent him to some kind of a Christian work program when his actions came to their attention all those years ago.

Josh Duggar and his parents gave statements to People magazine about his past actions.

“Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before,” Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar said.

“Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family,” the statement read.

“I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions,” Josh said in a separate statement released by People, “I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God’s grace, mercy and redemption.”

If Jinger Duggar was one of Josh Duggar’s victims, might that be why she felt so awful when sister Jessa Duggar moved out? Did Jessa perhaps assume the role of protector for Jinger in the wake of Josh’s actions? Jana Duggar and Jill Duggar Dillard are very close–each having trained as midwives. Perhaps that left Jessa and Jinger as even closer confidantes.

It’s possible that no one will ever know the names of Josh Duggar’s victims because they were minors at the time, and aren’t even listed on the police report.

And even though the 19 Kids and Counting family prayed and drew closer to one another during that terrible time, could a sister ever truly get over being molested by her brother?

  • Josh Duggar, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Family Members Admit Molestations Occurred

Josh Duggar admits he was charged with molesting minors during his teens. His parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar say it’s true as well. A police report from back in 2005 hit the media yesterday, proving that the eldest of the 19 Kids and Counting siblings sexually assaulted his sisters–all minors at the time–as well as another female minor.

This means it’s quite likely that Jill Duggar Dillard, who recently had her first baby, and Jessa Duggar Seewald, who is expecting her first baby on November 1st, were among the sisters who were molested.

Josh Duggar gave a statement to People magazine on Thursday.

“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends,” Josh, 27, said in the statement. “I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”

Josh Duggar has resigned from his position at the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., where he lives with his wife, Anna Duggar, and their three children. They are expecting their fourth child.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, the 19 Kids and Counting patriarch and matriarch–and Josh Duggar’s parents–issued a joint statement to People.

“Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives,” their statement reads. “When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before.”

“Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family. We have challenges and struggles every day. It is one of the reasons we treasure our faith so much because God’s kindness and goodness and forgiveness are extended to us–even though we are so undeserving. We hope somehow the story of our journey–the good times and the difficult times–cause you to see the kindness of God and learn that He can bring you through anything,” Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar’s statement continued.

Anna Duggar says she supports Josh Duggar, claiming he confessed his “past teenage mistakes” two years before he proposed to her.

“I can imagine the shock many of you are going through reading this. I remember feeling that same shock,” she says. “When my family and I first visited the Duggar home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes. I was surprised at his openness and humility and at the same time didn’t know why he was sharing it. For Josh, he wanted not just me but my parents to know who he really was–even every difficult past mistakes.”

Josh Duggar claims he is still living with regret over the sexual molestations to this day.

“I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions,” he says. “I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God’s grace, mercy and redemption.”

If Josh Duggar molested the older of the four Duggar daughters, that would mean Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar were molested, in addition to Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald. Do you suppose they are living with regret over what their brother did all those years ago?

Might this disturbing revelation signify the end of 19 Kids and Counting? Will TLC continue producing a show that features an admitted sex offender?

  • Jinger Duggar: Will She Escape the Family Before Marriage?

Although their two sisters, Jill and Jessa, have been trending in the news lately due to their recent marriages and baby announcements, Jinger and Jana Duggar don’t seem to be in any rush to move on to the next stage.

Jinger, one of the most outspoken members of the Duggar family, recently served as maid-of-honor at Jessa’s November wedding.

“I definitely cried once or twice, a couple of different evenings thinking about Jessa leaving,” she said. “It is a different season of life. Those special memories in the girls’ room, us up chatting late at night, is one thing I think about and start tearing up.”

Jim Bob, father of the Duggar clan, said that Jinger hasn’t picked a future spouse yet because, “so far, she has not been interested in the guys.”

But because Jinger, 20, is the most outspoken, fans of 19 Kids & Counting have started a movement to get her away from the Independent Baptist family before she begins stepping toward courtship and marriage.

Freejinger.com says that they are “a group of critics” who have “joined together online in the hopes of convincing spitfire daughter Jinger to leave too — without a wedding ring on her finger!”

“Jinger is one of the middle Duggar daughters, and the only one who shows a spark of life. If anyone is going to break out of the Duggar Borg, our money is on Jinger,” reads the site’s FAQ page. “One theory is that she resents her name being misspelled just so her family could keep their J streak going.”

But Jinger isn’t the only one who isn’t moving toward matrimony.

Online rumors have indicated that Jana Duggar, 24, is too busy taking care of her younger siblings to be courted. She’s even been dubbed “Cinderella Duggar” by Radar Online. However, Jim Bob insists that there have been a lot of guys who have been interested in her.

“I have gone to hear about each one,” he said, “and so far she hasn’t felt that is the way the Lord is leading.”

“We’ve always gotten different ones asking, ‘When is it going to be your turn? When is it your time?’” Jenna said. “I just think for me I am just waiting and we’ll see. When God brings that one along it will be his time.”

However, none of this information stops the online community from speculating about the eldest sister.

Or about the Jinger, for that matter.

But Jana’s twin brother, John David, seems eager to marry and recently joked that he is taking applications for a future spouse.

“It was a joke,” he says. “But I hear that we started receiving applications like crazy. I don’t know how many have come in and I haven’t looked at any, but I hear there are a lot.”

Joseph Duggar, 19, also has his thoughts on courtship and marriage.

“I definitely want to do the same route in courting and getting to know someone in the way my siblings have,” he said. “Doing it that way, I believe that is the way that God intended it. I don’t think God wants us to play around and go out with everyone, but to know for sure that is the one He has for you.

    “Sometimes, that takes time.”

Who do you think will marry next? Are you, along with many others, rooting for Jinger to escape before she is spoken for?

  • Jim Bob Duggar Doesn’t Choose Children’s Spouses

Jim Bob Duggar, the patriarch of the 19 Kids and Counting family, said during a recent interview with People magazine that he doesn’t choose the people his children marry. Speculation of that notion likely arose because of the tight ship he and wife Michelle Duggar run with regard to their daughters and dating. In fact, Duggar girls (and boys) don’t date. Instead they court. That courtship is designed to learn whether or not that person is the one God has planned to be the chosen spouse.

Jessa Duggar just tied the knot with Ben Seewald last weekend. Now some are wondering which of the Duggar children might be the next to get married.

“I do not choose who my children marry,” Jim Bob, who is 50, said in the exclusive interview. “Over the years, I have suggested guys to my daughters or we have had a lot of guys that approach us and are interested in this girl or that girl, but each of our girls have chosen their spouse on their own.”

So who do you think might be the next of the 19 Kids and Counting offspring to get married? Twins John David and Jana Duggar are both still single.

“I am such an expert in love and marriage,” John David joked. “Maybe people will steal my advice since I know so much.”

“Jana is one of the prettiest girls in the world and one of the sweetest girls,” Jim Bob Duggar says of his oldest daughter. “There have been a lot of guys who have been interested in her, I have gone to hear about each one, and so far she hasn’t felt that is the way the Lord is leading.”

Jinger Duggar was maid of honor at Jessa Duggar’s wedding last weekend. Jim Bob Duggar weighs in on her courtship status.

“Jinger is just a dynamic girl that a lot of guys have been interested in,” Jim Bob says. “But so far, she has not been interested in the guys.”

Aside from the twins and Jinger Duggar, the only other of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s children who is old enough to marry is 19-year-old Joseph Duggar. And even though Jim Bob Duggar didn’t offer his two cents worth regarding Joseph, the young man has certainly learned a thing or two by watching his older siblings.

“I definitely want to do the same route in courting and getting to know someone in the way my siblings have,” he says. “Doing it that way, I believe that is the way that God intended it. I don’t think God wants us to play around and go out with everyone, but to know for sure that is the one He has for you.”

It’s good to hear that Jim Bob Duggar doesn’t choose his children’s spouses. That’s a rather outdated form of matchmaking that is likely destined to fail. Instead he and wife Michelle have fashioned some courtship rules that are designed to make them find the right person–with maybe just a little help from their dad.

  • Jill Duggar Prepares for Baby, Sister Jessa Duggar Marries Ben Seewald

Jill Duggar–now better known by her married name, Jill Dillard–is preparing for her first baby. In fact, she and hubby Derick Dillard went shopping recently to see exactly what they might need for their new little bundle of joy. Just a few days later–on Saturday, November 1st–Jill and Derick attended the wedding of her sister, Jessa Duggar. It seems there’s no end to the excitement in the 19 Kids and Counting family.

Less than a week before Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s wedding, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard were in New York scouting out ideas for their nursery. They spoke to E! News about how they are preparing for childbirth, too.

“We’re taking Bradley [Method] birth classes right now,” Derick Dillard said.

“Yeah, [it’s] husband-coached childbirth,” Jill added, “so that he can know how to help me in labor and in pregnancy—and that’s what I want the most, is [for] him to be able to know what to do when that comes.”

On Saturday, Jill Duggar knew exactly what to do to help sister Jessa Duggar get through her big day. It was only a few months ago, after all, that Jill Duggar became Jill Dillard.

Jessa Duggar walked down the aisle–escorted by her father, Jim Bob Duggar–and met her groom in front of more than 1,000 wedding guests, at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Jill Duggar wasn’t the matron of honor for her sister, however. That honor went instead (at least that of maid-of-honor) to 20-year-old Jinger Duggar.

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald didn’t kiss at their wedding, as most newlywed couples do. Instead they opted for that first time kiss to take place during a private moment following the nuptials.

“They wanted their very first kiss ever to be in private,” Pastor Mike Schadt said in an interview with People.com. “It was important to the both of them.”

Another couple took the place of the bride and groom for just a moment–sharing their own chaste kiss for the wedding fun. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who have now been married for 30 years, kissed in front of the wedding guests instead.

Jessa Duggar and her new husband were spotted kissing at the reception afterward, however. And Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard–along with the rest of the 19 Kids and Counting family–were there to cheer them on.
