  • Josh Duggar Won’t Appear in New Episodes of TLC’s “Jill and Jessa: Counting On”

Josh Duggar will be conspicuously absent from new episodes of TLC’s Jill and Jessa: Counting On, when it returns on March 15. Even though Josh’s wife, Anna Duggar, will join Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and John David, Josiah, Joseph, Joy Anna, Jinger, and Jana Duggar in the new episodes the network has ordered, Josh Duggar will only be alluded to in comments about how much the Duggar family suffered in 2015.

The Duggar family starred in TLC’s hit show 19 Kids and Counting for several years before the media caught wind last spring about Josh Duggar having sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Two of those girls were sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar. Although it has never been confirmed, it is expected that Jana and Jinger Duggar were victimized by Josh Duggar, too. The fifth victim was a non-family member.

Because of the Josh Duggar molestations, as well as Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s alleged attempts to keep the incidents swept under the proverbial rug, TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting.

This past summer, Josh Duggar was outed in the Ashley Madison cheater’s website hack, after which he admitted he cheated on wife Anna Duggar with a former porn star. He also admitted to having an addiction to pornography.

While it didn’t seem likely after that news hit the media, TLC wanted Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald back. They drew the most fans during the last year or two that 19 Kids and Counting aired. The network created Jill and Jessa: Counting On, originally airing three special episodes in December. Now it seems Jill and Jessa: Counting On is coming back, with several new episodes on tap.

The show will pick up approximately three months after Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald welcomed baby boy Spurgeon into their world. It will also chronicle some of Jill Duggar and hubby Derick Dillard’s time in El Salvador as Christian missionaries, along with their little boy, Israel.

It’s interesting to note, that in addition to Josh Duggar’s absence, fans aren’t likely to see Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar on Jill and Jessa: Counting On. Even some of the family’s fans can’t condone their actions, or lack thereof.

Will you be tuning in to see Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, Anna Duggar, and more of the former 19 Kids and Counting family when Jill and Jessa: Counting On returns to TLC?

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald Speed-Walked Through Much of Her Labor, Highlighted on “Jill & Jessa: Counting On”

Jessa Duggar Seewald and her labor and delivery are highlighted in Sunday’s upcoming episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On. The former 19 Kids and Counting star used a rather unique method to kick her labor into high gear. Once it was determined Jessa Duggar was in labor, the 23-year-old speed-walked to keep labor active and urge their baby along.

Entertainment Tonight reports the method involved many of Jessa’s family members, too.

“If you’re going to try to have a baby, just do it,” Jessa says in a preview clip of Sunday’s show that was provided to ET. “I mean, don’t mosey on down the trail at a snail’s pace! Power walk it. Walk the baby out!”

Surrounded by some of her family members, Jessa Duggar Seewald power-walked–and then she power-walked some more. When she finally returned home, it was time to deliver her baby boy.

Jessa Duggar Seewald and hubby Ben Seewald welcomed Spurgeon Elliot Seewald on November 5–one day after Jessa’s birthday, and four days after her November 1 due date. Spurgeon weighed in at an impressive nine pounds, 11 ounces, and he measured 21 1/4 inches in length. As fans will see on Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Jessa Duggar was transported to the hospital by ambulance following Spurgeon’s birth. Mom Michelle Duggar called 911, and told the dispatcher Jessa was bleeding excessively after delivering her baby.

Have you been following Jill and Jessa Duggar in Jill & Jessa: Counting On? The show is rumored to be TLC’s way of bringing the Duggar family–recently shamed by eldest son Josh Duggar–back to viewers without featuring the man who caused the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting. Josh Duggar sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Jill and Jessa Duggar admitted to being–and sisters Jinger and Jana Duggar were purportedly among–his victims. This summer, following the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting, Josh Duggar was outed during the Ashley Madison website hack. It was determined he had two accounts on the cheater’s website. He then admitted to wife Anna Duggar he had cheated on her. He also admitted to an addiction to pornography. A porn star has filed a lawsuit against Josh Duggar, claiming he was violent during sex.

Fans can see Jessa Duggar Seewald’s labor and birth story–and her penchant for power-walking–on Sunday night’s episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On. It airs on TLC at 9 p.m. ET.

    Will you be tuning in?

  • Jessa Seewald, Jill Dillard: Duggar Sisters Back on TLC in “Jill & Jessa: Counting On”

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard are just two members of the Duggar family from 19 Kids and Counting fame who appeared in the first of a three-part TLC special on Sunday evening. Jill & Jessa: Counting On featured the Duggar sisters and various members of the devout Christian family in the aftermath of Josh Duggar’s sexual scandals.

“You always think in the beginning of the year what the year will hold and it hasn’t been what we thought,” Jill Duggar Dillard, 24, said early on in the hour-and-a-half long show, which began with scenes of her and Jessa Duggar Seewald tending to their own families.

The show then ran through Jill and husband Derick Dillard’s–along with baby Israel’s–move to South America, as well as Jessa and Ben Seewald’s preparation for the birth of their son (who was born in November).

After that, the Josh Duggar scandals came into focus–to a degree, anyway.

“We had moved on from there,” Jill said of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal. “To be thrown under the bus was really really hard.”

“You don’t want that rubbed in your face all the time, for everyone else to see. That wasn’t right whoever released that. It shouldn’t have happened,” Jill, who was one of Josh’s victims, added.

Jessa Seewald responded during her own segment on the show.

“There’s an expectation that this family doesn’t have any problems,” she said. “People go digging up old bones. It was so frustrating.”

“There was a period of time in our family where Josh was not to be trusted,” Jessa added of Josh Duggar’s first scandal. Once the family sought counseling, “That relationship was restored between all of us siblings and our parents.”

“Knowing now what Joshua was hiding…it wasn’t right for him to let us speak our words without having the full knowledge of what he was hiding,” Jill Duggar Dillard, thinking back to when she and Jessa supported their brother after word of the first scandal hit the media.

“We were devastated. Over the years Josh had worked really hard to repair our trust in him,” Jessa Seewald said.

Later on in the show, additional 19 Kids and Counting siblings shared their thoughts on Josh Duggar and his scandals.

“It’s probably the toughest time in our life by far,” Jinger Duggar said through tears.

Second eldest brother John-David Duggard shared that “One of the toughest things I had to tell my older brother was, I don’t want to be like you anymore.”

There were some happy moments in Jill & Jessa: Counting On, too. Some of the Duggar sisters went shopping for baby clothes for Jessa and Ben’s then-not-born yet baby. A producer asked Jessa Seewald if the year’s events (meaning, of course, the Josh Duggar scandals) had detracted from the joy of her pregnancy.

    “Of course not,” she said.

“I think that there is hope for our family. There’s going to be a new normal,” Joy Duggar said.

Did you catch Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–as well as some of their family members–on Jill & Jessa: Moving On Sunday night?

Might the show become a spinoff of 19 Kids and Counting, or has the draw for the Duggar family shriveled up and died?

  • Jessa Seewald Shares Holiday Photos from Former “19 Kids and Counting” Family

Jessa Seewald–nee Duggar–shared some holiday photos from Thanksgiving weekend at the former 19 Kids and Counting home.

There were no doubt many people seated around the Thanksgiving dinner table in the Duggar household. Do you suppose Michelle Duggar and her daughters do all the cooking?

Jessa Seewald first shared a beautiful father-son photo of husband Ben Seewald and new baby Spurgeon on Thanksgiving Day.

“I’m so thankful to God for giving me you, Babe! You’re a gem! I’m so grateful to be married to such a sweet, godly man! These past three weeks have been so precious to me as I have watched you love and care for our son. From his middle of the night diaper changes to his sweet cuddle times with daddy, it melts my heart to see the interaction between you two! You’re such a good daddy! I can’t even begin to put into words how much you mean to me! I’m so happy you’re mine. I feel like the most blessed girl on earth! ?” Jessa captioned the Instagram post.

On Sunday following Thanksgiving, members of the Duggar family prepared to go Christmas caroling.

Jessa Seewald’s next post shows a beautiful Nativity scene in parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s home. In the background you can here Jinger Duggar playing the piano.

“Jinger’s piano playing is amazing! God has truly blessed her,” Jessa captioned the shot.

Jennifer and Johannah Duggar were adorable in their matching dresses this weekend. Jessa Duggar Seewald had to share their photo on her Instagram account.

“Haha! I wanted to get their pic together since they were matching–and Jennie was trying to be as tall as Johannah is in her skates??” she captioned it.

It’s uncertain as to how many members of the former 19 Kids and Counting attended Thanksgiving dinner at the Duggar family abode. No one has confirmed if Josh Duggar was home for the holiday. A new report says he wants to renew his wedding vows with Anna Duggar. How do you suppose she might react to that notion?

If they do renew their vows, it’s unlikely Jessa Seewald will attend and take photos of that Duggar family event. Despite her strong Christian faith, she isn’t happy with the recent choices her brother has made.

  • Josh Duggar: Disgraced “19 Kids and Counting” Star Wants to Renew His and Anna Duggar’s Wedding Vows

Josh Duggar, the disgraced former 19 Kids and Counting star, claims he wants to renew the wedding vows he and wife Anna Duggar took several years back. Following two sex scandals in a very short period of time, it seems Josh Duggar is trying everything he can to save his marriage.

“[Josh] wants to a have an elaborate ceremony as soon as he gets out of rehab,” a source close to the Duggar family tells HollywoodLife.com. When Josh completes his rehab program for those with “sexual sins,” he wants to “make it a really special occasion for Anna.”

There’s been no word on how Anna Duggar feels about all this. It’s been painful and exhausting for Anna, who was pregnant with their fourth child when Josh Duggar cheated on her with a porn star. Anna learned at about the same time that Josh had two accounts on the cheater’s website Ashley Madison. Josh Duggar also admitted to a pornography addiction.

Since Josh Duggar has been at the faith based Reformers Unanimous, Anna Duggar has been a single mom. She spent some time in Florida with her parents. When back in Arkansas she has had some help from mother-in-law Michelle Duggar and sister-in-law Jessa Duggar Seewald.

Josh Duggar first came under fire–as did parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, for the way they handled the situation–when he admitted to having sexually molested five underage girls. Four of those girls were his sisters. Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald admit they were victimized by Josh Duggar. Due to their ages, it is expected that Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar are the other two siblings sexually molested by Josh Duggar.

Do you expect Anna Duggar will go along with Josh Duggar’s supposed plan to renew their wedding vows?

Could you renew wedding vows if your spouse cheated with a porn star?

  • Jessa Seewald Indulges in Chocolate on 23rd Birthday, Still No Sign of Baby Seewald

Jessa Seewald turned 23 on Wednesday, and indulged in some chocolate as part of her celebration.

It’s been a week of celebrations for Jessa and her husband Ben. Sunday was their first wedding anniversary, as well as their unborn baby’s due date.

Being a few days overdue didn’t spoil the fun for Jessa. She shared an Instagram photo of her chocolate dessert she shared with one of the yonger Duggar siblings.

“Sharing a birthday dessert with my little Jordyn buddy!” Jessa Seewald captioned the photo. “#ChocolateMess #MarketplaceGrill.”

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

It seems tacos might have been part of Jessa Seewald’s birthday celebration, too. She shared another photo from a taco restaurant, taken with two friends–one of whom appears as pregnant as Jessa.

“40 weeks 2 days Wow, @sierrajodominguez! We’re big. ? & sweet lil’ Kristen is sandwiched in the middle. ? @tacos4lifegrill, the tacos were fantastic!” she captioned it.

Some of the 19 Kids and Counting family members took to social media to wish Jessa Duggar Seewald a very happy birthday.

Jinger Duggar shared a photo of the two sisters on Facebook.

Happy Birthday, Jess! Oh, the memories we've shared throughout the years…you have always been there to inspire, encourage, and point me back to Jesus! Lots of love, Jinger

There’s no doubt that Jessa Seewald spent a wonderful birthday surrounded by those she loves. Hopefully the next time she or her family shares anything on social media, it will highlight the arrival ofBaby Seewald.

  • Jessa Seewald: The Countdown to Baby “Quincy” is On as Former “19 Kids and Counting” Star Prepares to Give Birth

Jessa Seewald is counting down the last few days until she and hubby Ben Seewald welcome baby “Quincy” into their lives. That isn’t the baby’s actual name, however. The former 19 Kids and Counting couple jokingly referred to their unborn baby as “Q” for a while. From that it evolved into Quincy.”

November 1st is Jessa Duggar Seewald’s due date, and that is also the day she and Ben will celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary. Just three days after that, Jessa Duggar turns 23. The Duggar family will soon have lots to celebrate.

That’s no doubt a welcome change, as the Duggars have endured months of turmoil. Their 19 Kids and Counting show was cancelled by TLC after the media learned eldest son Josh Duggar had sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teen. Four of the girls he molested are Duggar siblings. Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Seewald admit they are among his victims. Due to their ages, it is expected that Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar were sexually molested by Josh Duggar, too. One unrelated girl–a babysitter in the 19 Kids and Counting household–was also victimized.

Not long after 19 Kids and Counting was cancelled, Josh Duggar drove a nail in his coffin yet again, with the discovery of his two Ashley Madison accounts. He was outed when the cheater’s website was hacked this summer. Shortly thereafter he admitted to having cheated on wife Anna Duggar, and to having an addiction to pornography.

With Josh Duggar tucked away in rehab (for his sexual sins) and Anna Duggar staying with her parents in Florida, things are relatively peaceful for the Duggar clan right now. TLC cameras have returned–to the home of Ben and Jessa Seewald–to film three upcoming specials. Jill & Jessa: Counting On will concentrate on the two Duggar sisters and their families. Their cameras were rolling last weekend for Jessa Seewald’s baby shower. Rumor has it the show could become a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff if all goes well with these three specials. The new show has likely provided some much-needed joy for the Duggar family.

Jessa Seewald only has six days to go until her baby is due. Since Jill Duggar Dillard just returned to Central America to serve as a missionary, it doesn’t seem she will be home for the baby’s arrival. Some had wondered if she might deliver Jessa Seewald’s baby, since she is a midwife, but certainly other plans are in place.

Are you excited to learn what Ben and Jessa Seewald name their baby, and whether they have a boy or a girl?

  • Josh Duggar: Sisters Break Down Over His Sex Scandals in New Show Promo

Josh Duggar is still the source of much anguish in the former 19 Kids and Counting family. In a promo for an upcoming three-part TLC special featuring sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, some of that pain is very plain to see.

Jill & Jessa: Counting On is set to air in December, and depending on ratings, could in fact become a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff. In the promo clip, Jill and Jessa break down in tears, and while they don’t refer to Josh Duggar by name, it’s clear he is the source of their pain.

Josh Duggar sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teen. Two of those girls are his sisters, Jill and Jessa. Given their ages at the time, most suspect Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar were molested at the hands of Josh Duggar, too, as well as a non-related young woman.

Josh Duggar’s actions–as well as the way 19 Kids and Counting parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar handled the situation–are the reason TLC cancelled the family’s reality show.

Yet another sex scandal rocked the Duggar family this summer. Josh Duggar was outed following the hacking of the cheater’s website, Ashley Madison. It was determined that Josh Duggar had two accounts. He admitted shortly thereafter–and likely only because he’d been caught–to having an addiction to pornography and to cheating on wife Anna Duggar.

Anna Duggar has since packed up the couple’s four children–the youngest of whom she was pregnant with when Josh cheated on her–and moved to Florida where she is staying with her parents. Some sources say she is considering divorcing Josh Duggar.

Meanwhile, Josh Duggar is in Illinois, at a faith based rehab called Reformers Unanimous, where he is getting help for his “sexual sins.”

Do you think too much water has flowed underneath that proverbial Duggar bridge for TLC to create a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff from Jill & Jessa: Counting On? Or does the Duggar family have plenty of support despite Josh Duggar’s actions–enough support to provide plenty of viewers for a new Duggar TV show?

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald: Down to the Wire, Baby Seewald Coming Soon–See Former “19 Kids and Counting” Star’s Latest Pic

Jessa Duggar Seewald could have her baby any day now. She and hubby Ben Seewald are expecting their blessed arrival on their first wedding anniversary–November 1st.

The former 19 Kids and Counting star has done a great job of keeping fans apprised of her pregnancy progression. Like sister Jill Duggar Dillard when she was expecting baby Israel, Jessa Duggar has posted photos every week or so, counting down to her baby’s arrival.

Despite the controversy plaguing the Duggar family because of eldest son Josh Duggar’s sex scandal, Jessa Duggar has remained her typical optimistic self. She is likely excited, too, about returning to TV in some TLC specials that may very well turn into a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff. Sister Jill Duggar Dillard will be featured in these specials, too.

On Friday, Jessa Duggar shared a photo of some baby clothes sister Jinger Duggar picked out as adorable options for Baby Seewald.

“Jinger picked out some pretty adorable outfit options for #BabySeewald! ? Which do you think we’ll be putting to use? Right or left?” Jessa captioned the photo.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Neither Jessa Duggar nor Ben Seewald has shared whether or not they know the gender of their baby. Even this photo of Jinger Duggar’s outfit options doesn’t give anything away.

It will certainly be a bright day in the midst of so many recent dark ones when the 19 Kids and Counting family welcome Jessa Duggar Seewald’s baby into their world. This child will be Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s sixth grandchild. In addition to Jill Duggar’s son, Israel, Josh and Anna Duggar are the parents of four children.

The excitement is surely building in the Duggar family as all eyes are no doubt on Jessa Duggar and the anticipation of her baby’s birth.

Do you think Ben and Jessa know the gender of their baby? Do you think they’re having a baby boy or a baby girl?

  • Anna Duggar Shares Generic Wedding Message in Amy Duggar’s ‘Guest Book,’ Questioning Marriage to Josh Duggar?

Anna Duggar has been at the center of her husband’s recent sex scandal. After he was outed by the recent Ashley Madison cheater’s website hack, the eldest of the 19 Kids and Counting brood admitted to an addiction to pornography. He also admitted to cheating on Anna Duggar.

Attending a wedding shortly after you learn your husband cheated on you has to be devastating. Anna Duggar signed Amy Duggar’s non-traditional guest book with a rather generic message. Given her present circumstances, it’s plain to see why.

Instead of a traditional guest book, Amy Duggar–cousin of the 19 Kids and Counting recently disgraced Duggar family–opted for Jenga blocks instead. Jenga is a game of stackable wooden blocks. Wedding guests were each asked to sign one of the blocks with a message for the new bride and groom–Amy Duggar and Dillon King.

“So happy for you!” Anna Duggar wrote on her Jenga block.

That’s about as generic as one can get when addressing a newlywed couple. Yet imagine how painful it must have been for Anna Duggar to attend this wedding. Watching a bride and groom vow to love and cherish one another ’til death do them part likely resonated with Anna. She was pregnant with her fourth child when she learned Josh Duggar cheated on her.

Fortunately for Anna Duggar, she and the rest of the Duggar clan left Amy Duggar’s wedding shortly after the reception began. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar herded their crew out the door just before the dancing and drinking commenced.

According to the Duggar family website, Anna Duggar is receiving counseling following the devastation she has endured. Hopefully the counseling is legitimate–unlike the counseling Josh Duggar received after molesting five underage girls as a teen. Four of those girls are his own sisters. Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald admit they were their brother’s victims. It is expected–given their ages at the time of the molestations–that Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar were victimized, too. Josh was sent to a Christian retreat where he was supposedly counseled on sexual issues following the molestations. Clearly that counseling didn’t work, as he made headlines again for cheating on Anna–with a porn star and stripper.

“We will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future,” Michelle Duggar wrote on the blog last month. “During this time we continue to look to God—He is our rock and comfort. We ask for your continued prayers for our entire family.”

Anna Duggar needs all the help she can get. Her generic message to Amy Duggar and Dillon King indicates she is probably shutting down emotionally, in an attempt to hide her pain.

Anna’s brother wants her to leave Josh Duggar, but that’s unlikely because of their religious beliefs.

Do you expect while attending Amy and Dillon’s wedding that Anna Duggar at some point questioned her marriage to Josh Duggar?

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ Former Stars Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard to Raise Sexual Abuse Awareness

19 Kids and Counting was cancelled because of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s eldest son Josh Duggar and his sexual molestation scandal. On Sunday, former stars Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard–two of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims–appeared on a TLC special called Breaking the Silence. While on the show, the Duggar sisters said they want to raise awareness about sexual abuse.

Josh Duggar was a teenager when he sexually molested four members of the 19 Kids and Counting family. In addition to Jill and Jessa Duggar, it is thought that sisters Jinger and Jana Duggar were victimized as well.

During the TLC special, Jessa Duggar addressed sexual abuse.

“I feel like this should be a discussion that people are having, even regularly,” she said. “I think that it shouldn’t be a taboo subject and that we should be bringing awareness to child sexual abuse and talking about it.”

Jill Duggar added, “It was amazing to understand that there are so many people that deal with the exact same thing in their own families, so just being educated is very good.”

Former 19 Kids and Counting matriarch Michelle Duggar appeared on the TLC special with her daughters.

“I was so glad that my girls and I were able to do this together,” she said on Sunday’s documentary. “And that we could just be a support and encouragement to each other to be able to gain more information about this important topic.”

Sadly, the 19 Kids and Counting family has been devastated by Josh Duggar yet again. During the recent Ashley Madison website hacking it was discovered that Josh had two accounts. He later admitted to having an addiction to pornography and to having cheated on his wife Anna Duggar.

  • ’19 Kids and Counting’ Patriarch Jim Bob Duggar Has ‘Authority’ Over Michelle Duggar and Kids

19 Kids and Counting was cancelled, but that hasn’t kept its stars–the Duggar family and many of its members–out of the media spotlight. Josh Duggar, the reason for TLC’s cancellation of the popular reality TV show, recently admitted to his involvement in a new scandal. He had two Ashley Madison accounts, is addicted to pornography, and cheated on his wife Anna Duggar.

In a new report, revelations about 19 Kids and Counting patriarch Jim Bob Duggar will no doubt leave some wondering what really goes on behind the Duggar family doors.

“Jim Bob’s favorite word is ‘no,’” one Duggar family source says. “He’s like a dictator. He once saw a guy kissing a girl before marriage and confronted him about it. And the guy said, ‘Jim Bob, show me that verse in the Bible that says we can’t kiss. Get out your Bible.’ And Jim Bob was like, ‘Uhhhh …’ because no one ever confronts Jim Bob. No one.”

This concerns those closest to the Duggar family, and the biggest concern right now is for Anna Duggar. Reports have surfaced saying Anna Duggar won’t leave Josh–even after he admitted to cheating on her.

“The scary thing is, I don’t know who is talking to Anna, outside of the people in Duggarville,” the source says.

When Josh Duggar made his latest confession, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar issued a statement, saying they were disappointed, but praying about these latest developments.

Some people have long believed that because the 19 Kids and Counting family lives in the south, that they belong to the Southern Baptist Church. That isn’t true. The Duggar family’s belief align with fundamental Christianity, but adhere to a Christian ideology called conservative patriarchy. This means the father/husband rules the household. It also means sexuality and sex aren’t discussed–ever.

“They don’t talk about sex. They don’t talk about sexuality,” the Duggar family source says.

The Duggar children–including newly married daughters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–are almost completely cut off from the secular world. The family source says Jim Bob Duggar once removed batteries from his children’s toys that made music, “because he didn’t want [his kids] to dance or move their bodies that way.”

In the 2014 book, Growing Up Duggar, four of the Duggar daughters–including Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar–explained that the family has a code word to help the boys and men deal with lustful thoughts if an attractive woman is in their midst.

    That word is “Nike.”

“That’s a signal to the boys, and even to Dad, that they should nonchalantly drop their eyes and look down at their shoes as we walk past her,” they wrote in the book.

“They say it, and all the boys look straight down to the floor every time. It’s like an automatic military thing. Things like that blow my mind,” the family source says.

Based on the things shared by this 19 Kids and Counting source, it certainly sounds like poor Anna Duggar doesn’t stand a chance. She will pray and remain secluded with her cheating husband who abused his sisters–Jill and Jessa Duggar admit they are his victims, and many expect that Jinger Duggar and Jana Duggar are the other siblings he victimized. Josh Duggar also molested one non-relative underage girl. Anna Duggar has no chance of escaping this insanity.

Did you have any idea that Jim Bob Duggar ran the 19 Kids and Counting family in this manner? This kind of control surely contributed to the way Josh Duggar is and could manifest itself in other negative ways in more of the Duggar family members, too.

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jill Duggar Dillard to Appear in TLC Sex Abuse Special, ‘Breaking the Silence’

Jessa Duggar Seewald and sister Jill Duggar Dillard will both appear in an upcoming TLC sex abuse special called Breaking the Silence. The network cancelled the Duggar family’s reality show, 19 Kids and Counting after the media frenzy that followed word of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal. Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard–two admitted victims of Josh Duggar–agreed to appear in the documentary.

TLC will air Breaking the Silence on Sunday, August 30. It will run for one hour and will be commercial free.

“The one-hour documentary is built around the personal and emotional stories of brave survivors who have found the courage to come forward,” the network said in a statement.

TLC President Marjorie Kaplan added that “the goal is to take what has been a difficult and painful experience, and focus that attention on the really critical issue of child protection and child sexual abuse.”

Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard are two of five of brother Josh Duggar’s victims. Two other Duggar sisters–purportedly Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar–were molested, too, as was one non-relative.

Jill and Jessa Duggar talked about their situation during a Fox interview with Megyn Kelly. They said during that interview that they only knew about Josh’s sexual molestations (inappropriate touching over clothing) because their parents explained what happened after Josh admitted to the fondling. Both girls were reportedly asleep when the molestations took place.

“My dad explained to us, he said, ‘You know there’s a difference between forgiveness and trust. That’s not the same thing,’” Jill Duggar Dillard told Megyn Kelly. “You know, you forgive someone and then you have boundaries. Forgiveness with boundaries. Trust comes later. Josh destroyed that trust at the beginning, and so he had to rebuild that. I think when he came back, that was… the point of rebuilding.”

Parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have come under much fire for the way they handled the situation. Josh reportedly never received clinical counseling.

The Duggar family is said to be renting a home and haven’t returned to their large Arkansas abode since word of the scandal hit the media. They were saddened at the loss of their reality show, but claim they will continue to glorify God in other ways.

Will you be tuning in on August 30 to see Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard on this TLC special about sexual abuse? Do you think their story will change at all since their interview with Megyn Kelly?

  • Jana Duggar, Jinger Duggar, and Mom Scheduled for First Public Appearance Since ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation

Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar–along with their mom Michelle Duggar–are scheduled for their first public appearance since the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting. This is Jinger and Jana Duggar’s first appearance since the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal hit the media back in May.

It is expected by most–given their ages–that Jinger Duggar, who is 21, and Jana Duggar, who is 25, were among Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims. Sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald admitted that they had, in fact, been sexually molested by their brother, but wouldn’t have know it if Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar hadn’t explained the situation to them. They were reportedly asleep when their brother copped an inappropriate feel. Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar have never admitted to being among Josh Duggar’s victims.

Michelle Duggar shared a post on the family’s website that lists herself, Jana, and Jinger Duggar as speakers at an upcoming Christian event. The event is the COMMIT Mother/Daughter Conference, and is designed to encourage young women–aged 12 to 17–and their mothers to seek God above all else.

This means Jinger and Jana Duggar will travel with Michelle to Indianapolis for a fun ladies-only getaway.

The Duggar family blog also shared a report that confirms that it has cost Discovery Communications a great deal of money to cancel 19 Kids and Counting. Being strong Christians, however, there is no way the Duggar family would take any pleasure in that.

    Is there?

Surely flocks of young women and their moms will travel to Indianapolis to hear what Jinger and Jana Duggar, as well as Michelle Duggar, have to say about following the Lord. That belief system is at their family’s very core.

  • Jill Duggar to Miss Birth of New ’19 Kids and Counting’ Family Member

Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard departed for a foreign country last weekend where they will serve as missionaries. That means Jill–who was in training to become a midwife-will miss out on the birth of the next member of the 19 Kids and Counting family.

Anna Duggar, who was recently due to give birth to her fourth child with Josh Duggar, is now overdue. This means their baby could arrive any time now and Jill Duggar won’t be around to witness the birth.

Of course it’s uncertain that Jill would have attended Anna Duggar’s labor and delivery–or even if Anna is having a midwife. Sister Jana Duggar is a midwife, so she will at the very least be around to help Anna out after the new baby arrives.

This weekend, Anna Duggar and Jessa Duggar Seewald compared the size of their bellies in a fun picture. Jessa’s is, of course, much smaller, since her baby isn’t due until November.

Anna and Josh Duggar are already the parents of one daughter–Mackynzie is five–and two sons. Michael Duggar is three and Marcus Duggar is two. They are expecting a girl this time around.

Josh Duggar has been front and center in the news recently for having sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald have admitted they are two of his victims. It is expected that Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar are the other two sisters Josh molested. He also molested one non-related girl.

Do you expect Jill Duggar will be disappointed she isn’t home in Arkansas when Anna Duggar finally has her fourth baby? Or is Jill more than content to be serving as a missionary a long way from home?

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ Jinger Duggar Poses in Selfie With Brothers, But Not Josh Duggar

The 19 Kids and Counting family has faced significant strife in recent weeks since word of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal first made news. During the past week or so, several members of the Duggar family have made their way back into the world–some on social media and others by way of their family’s official website.

Jinger Duggar, one of four 19 Kids and Counting sisters who was purportedly sexually molested by big brother Josh Duggar, appears in a selfie she took along with several of her brothers. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar shared the photo on the Duggar Family’s Official Facebook page. Josh Duggar isn’t among the brothers posing with Jinger.

“This picture made us laugh so hard,” the following picture of Jinger Duggar and five of her brothers was captioned. “Sweet Jinger does a lot of shopping for the family (as a favor and because she does enjoy it!) Some of the boys needed to go to the store as well. Jinger sent us this picture and said, ‘Wow, shopping with the guys is a REAL adventure!’”

Jinger Duggar made 19 Kids and Counting news a a few months back when she talked with Jessa Duggar Seewald’s husband Ben Seewald about her Christian faith.

“I grew up in a Christian home, of course, but I realized at a young age that I was sinner,” she said.

“I came to my parents and I was like, I really need Jesus because I know in my own self I’m not going to be able to get to heaven. I’ve done so many bad deeds,” she admits. “I’ve sinned against God. I cannot save myself from my sins.”

“I was totally broken,” Jinger added.

Since that time, Jinger Duggar has been filled with the ‘desire’ to spread God’s word.

Hopefully her strong Christian faith has continued to bolster Jinger Duggar during these recent weeks when the entire 19 Kids and Counting family came under fire for what Josh Duggar did as a teenager.

Now the whole family is awaiting word from TLC as to the fate of 19 Kids and Counting.

  • Josh Duggar: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Family Angry With Him Upon His and Anna Duggar’s Return to Arkansas

Josh Duggar isn’t in the good graces of the 19 Kids and Counting family right now. At least that’s what OK magazine reports. It seems as Josh and Anna Duggar are starting to unpack at their Arkansas home, the rest of the family is giving him the cold shoulder.

Sure, they’ve all prayed for and forgiven Josh Duggar for sexually molesting five underage girls–four of whom are his sisters–but when push comes to shove he is costing them a boat load of money. He might even have cost them their most lucrative source of income–their TV show.

“Josh is the reason the gravy train came to a screeching halt,” a source tells OK. “He’s ruined their main source of income, and they’re furious.”

The source also said that when Anna and Josh Duggar, along with their three children, arrived back in Arkansas last week, that none of the 19 Kids and Counting family members showed up to help unload and unpack the moving trucks. Kate Gosselin’s bodyguard, Steve Neild, was hired by TLC to assist the family with keeping the paparazzi at bay.

Anna Duggar is expecting a baby in a matter of weeks. Did Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, or even Jana and Jinger Duggar–all purportedly Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims–come to her aid?

    No.

“Anna is due to give birth to their fourth child in less than a month, and she needed helping hands more than ever,” the source said. “But the family abandoned them, all saying they were ‘too busy.’”

In fact, OK reports they’ve been told Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald are angrier than the rest.

“They were becoming the superstars of the family,” the source said. “They’re devastated–and terribly resentful of Josh.”

Josh Duggar has no job and he supposedly has no family support.

How will he and his family survive back home in Arkansas without one or both of these important things?

Do you think the 19 Kids and Counting family is really ostracizing Josh Duggar, or might they simply be trying to make it look that way so that they can distance themselves from him in the public eye, and try to salvage their reality show?

  • Jill Duggar Ignores Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation Scandal to Celebrate Son Israel’s Two-Month Birthday

Jill Duggar Ignores Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation Scandal to Celebrate Son Israel’s Two-Month Birthday

Jill Duggar set aside her concerns about the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal–for Saturday anyway–and celebrated the two-month birthday of her and Derick Dillard’s son, Israel David Dillard. The celebration was no doubt a welcome change from the angst Jill Duggar, sister Jessa Duggar, and parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have experienced since filming an interview for airing on The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly on both Wednesday and Friday evenings.

Jill Duggar Dillard and husband Derick welcomed their baby boy into their world back on April 6th. Shortly thereafter they celebrated sister Jessa Duggar Seewald’s pregnancy. She is due in November.

The past few weeks have been filled with pain and what Jill Duggar called ‘revictimization’ in her interview with Megyn Kelly. The weekend celebration hopefully took her away from all that–at least for a little while.

The Instagram photo Jill Duggar shared of baby Israel shows a happy little boy, who looks rather amused at the notion of having his photo taken.

“Happy 2 month birthday #IsraelDavidDillard! We are so blessed to be your parents! May you grow up to love Jesus and serve others! #2monthbirthday @derickdillard,” she captioned the picture.

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

One look at that precious face, and Jill Duggar should feel the love that surrounds her. Hopefully that, too, will help heal some of the pain she and her sisters–Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar are purportedly Josh Duggar’s victims, too–have experienced since the media learned of what Josh did all those years ago.

Hopefully the rest of the 19 Kids and Counting family had an opportunity to share–along with Derick and Jill–the blessing that has graced their lives in the form of baby Israel.

  • Duggar Sisters Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald Say Josh Duggar Made ‘Bad Choices’

Duggar sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald told Fox’s Megyn Kelly during their interview on The Kelly File Friday evening that their brother Josh Duggar made ‘bad choices.’

The 19 Kids and Counting siblings are two of Josh Duggar’s admitted victims of sexual molestations that took place when the sisters–now 24 and 22–were 12 and ‘nine or 10,’ respectively.

“I was one of the victims so I can speak out,” Jill Duggar told Fox. “In Josh’s case, he was a boy, young boy in puberty, and a little too curious about girls and that got him into some trouble,” she said. “And he made some bad choices, but really the extent of it was mild inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims. Most of it while girls were sleeping.”

“We didn’t even know about it until he went and confessed it to our parents,” the older of the two Duggar sisters added. She said what happened to her was “very mild compared to what happened to some.”

On Wednesday, in the first part of Megyn Kelly’s interview with the 19 Kids and Counting family members, parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar explained their side of things. They said Josh Duggar came to him when he committed these acts, and admitted to what he had done. Two other Duggar sisters were his victims as well. Many suspect Jana Duggar–the oldest of all the Duggar sisters–as well as Jinger Duggar, who is now 21, were among his victims. Josh Duggar also sexually molested one underage girl who wasn’t part of the 19 Kids and Counting family.

Jessa Duggar Seewald told Megyn Kelly on Friday night that Josh Duggar was a different person when he returned from counseling.

“I think by the time that…the report was made and everything, it was very obvious to everyone, us and our family, friends, officials that Josh was a completely changed person,” she said. “He had not gone down that path for years. He was humble before God, before us, before the officials that were involved.”

Do you think the Duggar sisters are underestimating the seriousness of what Josh Duggar did to them by referring to his actions ‘bad choices?’ Or has the media blown the scenario way out of proportion, targeting the entire 19 Kids and Counting family for something that should have remained a family matter only?

  • Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation Scandal: Sisters Jill Duggar Seewald, Jessa Duggar Dillard Call It ‘Revictimization’

Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation Scandal: Sisters Jill Duggar Seewald, Jessa Duggar Dillard Call It ‘Revictimization’

The Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal was front and center on Friday night as Fox’s Megyn Kelly shared her second part of an interview with the 19 Kids and Counting family on The Kelly File. Friday night’s segment highlighted her conversation with sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–both admitted victims of Josh Duggar, who believe the media’s attack on their family is revictimization–and far worse than what happened to them at the hands of their brother all those years ago.

“I see it as a revictimization that’s even 1,000 times worse,” Jill Duggar Dillard said.

Jill explained that neither she nor Jessa Duggar Seewald wanted to appear on camera talking about this family crisis that occurred many years ago, but they felt they needed to do so to ‘set the record straight.’

“This is something like we chose to do, nobody asked us to do this,” Dillard said.

“Most of the stuff out there is lies,” she added. “It’s not the truth.”

Jessa Duggar came to Josh Duggar’s defense, saying people shouldn’t be referring to him as a child molester Josh Duggar is a husband and father. He and wife Anna Duggar have three children, with a fourth due in July.

“I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist,” she said, “I’m like that is so overboard and a lie really. I mean people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

During their interview with Megyn Kelly, both Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald explained that they were unaware Josh Duggar had sexually molested them until their parents explained to them privately–one at a time–exactly what had happened. Jill was 12 at the time. Jessa was nine or 10, she explained.

“My parents took [us] aside individually, and they said here’s what’s happened and of course at that point, you’re like, ohh, you’re shocked, you know,” Jessa Duggar said.

Josh Duggar sexually molested three other young girls. Two more are said to be siblings of Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald. Most believe sisters Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar were also molested, as was one young girl who isn’t related to the 19 Kids and Counting family. Apparently none of these other victims chose to speak out about the incident.

Will TLC put 19 Kids and Counting back on the air or will they go ahead with tentative plans for a spinoff. Rumor has it they are considering filming a new show–2 Brides and Their Grooms–starring Jill and Jessa Duggar and their husbands, Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald. This will eliminate Josh Duggar from the show completely, and use Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar sparingly, as many still disagree with the way they handled Josh’s sexual molestation incidents.

What’s your take on the entire Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal now that his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, as well as sisters, Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, have shared their accounts of the family’s history that has been rehashed in the media?

Can you understand Jill Duggar’s comment that bringing this out now has revictimized not just her, but Josh Duggar’s other victims as well?

  • Jill Duggar Talks Safeguards ’19 Kids and Counting’ Parents Put in Place After Josh Duggar Sexually Molested Her and Sisters

Jill Duggar says her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, put some excellent safeguards in place after she and her sisters were sexually molested by their brother, Josh Duggar. The 19 Kids and Counting star talked with The Kelly File’s Megyn Kelly about those safeguards in an interview that airs Friday night.

So what were some of those safeguards?

“Not being alone,” Jill Duggar Dillard said on The Kelly File in preview excerpts released earlier on Friday to Us Weekly. “My parents said, ‘Okay, we’re not going to do this hide-and-seek thing where two people go off and hide together.’”

In the first part of Megyn Kelly’s interview with the 19 Kids and Counting family that aired Wednesday, Jim Bob Duggar said Josh Duggar came to him at the age of 14 and explained what he’d done to his sisters. In addition to Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, it is believed that Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar were the other sibling sexual molestation victims. There is one more victim–not a member of the Duggar family.

“He came to us and was crying and told us what happened,” Jim Bob recalled, adding that “safeguards” were then put into place as a preventative measure against further sexual molestation.

Jill Duggar explained more about those safeguards.

“Locks on the doors,” she said, point-blank. “You know, everybody’s in bed. Girls in the girls’ room. Boys in the boys’ room–as a mother now I look back, and I think, you know, my parents did such an amazing job for me. Even when we went through the DHS investigation they complimented my parents on what an amazing job they did through that process.”

“I hope I can set up the same safeguards in my family that they did,” Jill Duggar added.

A psychological and emotional struggle followed the sexual molestation of the 19 Kids and Counting sisters.

“I was angry at first, I was like, ’How could this happen?’” Jill Duggar tells Megyn Kelly in tonight’s broadcast. “And then, you know, my parents explained to us what happened and then Josh came and asked each of us, individually, I know, he asked me to forgive him. And I had to make that choice to forgive him, you know? And it wasn’t something that somebody forced, like, ‘Oh, you need to do this.’ It’s like, you have to make that decision for yourself.”

Jim Bob Duggar explained to Jana, Jill, Jinger, and Jessa Duggar that forgiveness doesn’t always go hand in hand with trust.

“My dad explained to us, he said, ‘You know there’s a difference between forgiveness and trust. That’s not the same thing.’ You know, you forgive someone and then you have boundaries. Forgiveness with boundaries. Trust comes later,” Jill explained. “Josh destroyed that trust at the beginning, and so he had to rebuild that. I think when he came back, that was…the point of rebuilding.”

Will you be tuning in this evening–Friday, June 5th–for the second portion of Megyn Kelly’s interview with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, as well as with Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald?

Hopefully there will be greater understanding of what the Duggar family experienced following the sexual molestations Josh Duggar committed.
