  • Josh Duggar: Parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar Allude to “Sexual Sins” in Birthday Message to Disgraced “19 Kids and Counting” Star

Josh Duggar turned 28 on Thursday, and parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar posted a birthday message to the disgraced 19 Kids and Counting star. The message alluded to the “sexual sins” he committed that led to the cancellation of the family’s reality show and nearly cost him his marriage.

Taking to social media, the Duggar parents posted their wishes to Josh Duggar on their Facebook page.

Today is our son Josh’s birthday. The heartache of the past year cannot surpass the joy 28 years ago on this day when we…

It was back in August when Josh Duggar checked into a Christian rehab facility in Illinois–Reformers Unanimous–where he remains today. While there, the eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children is receiving therapy for his sexual sins. Just before entering the facility, Josh Duggar was outed in the Ashley Madison cheater’s website hack. He then admitted to cheating on wife Anna Duggar, and to having a penchant for pornography.

Months earlier it was determined Josh Duggar had sexually molested several underage girls while he was a teenager. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar no doubt played a big role in sweeping those incidents under the rug. Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–two of Josh’s sisters–acknowledged they were molested by their brother.

It’s uncertain what–if anything–Josh Duggar did on Thursday to celebrate his 28th birthday, but there are many people who believe he should stay right where he is and never re-enter society.

Even though Josh Duggar cost the family their 19 Kids and Counting reality show, TLC has announced an upcoming season of a new Duggar reality show. Jill and Jessa: Counting On stars Jill and Jessa Duggar, along with siblings Jinger, Joy Anna, and Jana Duggar, and sister-in-law Anna Duggar. Josh Duggar and his parents are conspicuously absent from the new show.

Does it surprise you that Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar wish Josh Duggar a happy birthday on social media, rather than privately noting their son’s big day? It’s no doubt part of their belief in forgiveness, no matter the severity of the crime.

  • Josh Duggar Won’t Appear in New Episodes of TLC’s “Jill and Jessa: Counting On”

Josh Duggar will be conspicuously absent from new episodes of TLC’s Jill and Jessa: Counting On, when it returns on March 15. Even though Josh’s wife, Anna Duggar, will join Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and John David, Josiah, Joseph, Joy Anna, Jinger, and Jana Duggar in the new episodes the network has ordered, Josh Duggar will only be alluded to in comments about how much the Duggar family suffered in 2015.

The Duggar family starred in TLC’s hit show 19 Kids and Counting for several years before the media caught wind last spring about Josh Duggar having sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Two of those girls were sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar. Although it has never been confirmed, it is expected that Jana and Jinger Duggar were victimized by Josh Duggar, too. The fifth victim was a non-family member.

Because of the Josh Duggar molestations, as well as Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s alleged attempts to keep the incidents swept under the proverbial rug, TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting.

This past summer, Josh Duggar was outed in the Ashley Madison cheater’s website hack, after which he admitted he cheated on wife Anna Duggar with a former porn star. He also admitted to having an addiction to pornography.

While it didn’t seem likely after that news hit the media, TLC wanted Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald back. They drew the most fans during the last year or two that 19 Kids and Counting aired. The network created Jill and Jessa: Counting On, originally airing three special episodes in December. Now it seems Jill and Jessa: Counting On is coming back, with several new episodes on tap.

The show will pick up approximately three months after Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald welcomed baby boy Spurgeon into their world. It will also chronicle some of Jill Duggar and hubby Derick Dillard’s time in El Salvador as Christian missionaries, along with their little boy, Israel.

It’s interesting to note, that in addition to Josh Duggar’s absence, fans aren’t likely to see Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar on Jill and Jessa: Counting On. Even some of the family’s fans can’t condone their actions, or lack thereof.

Will you be tuning in to see Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, Anna Duggar, and more of the former 19 Kids and Counting family when Jill and Jessa: Counting On returns to TLC?

  • Jessa Duggar, Sister Get Full Order For A New Season Of Spinoff

Jessa Duggar and sister Jill made fans very happy when they appeared in a three-part special on TLC recently, which focused on their lives now that they are wives and mothers following a series of scandals that saw the family’s show canceled. But considering their fanbase and the fascination surrounding the embattled family, it’s no surprise that the network has ordered a full season of the series, which will premiere in March.

Jill & Jessa: Counting On was originally just supposed to air for a few episodes, enough to keep fans in the loop of the lives of two of the most popular siblings in the Duggar family following the revelation last year that their brother, Josh, had sexually molested them and two of their sisters when he was 14. The family’s popular series, 19 Kids And Counting, was subsequently taken off the air, and even more backlash ensued a few months later when Josh’s name was implicated in the Ashley Madison hack. After admitting that he had been unfaithful to his wife Anna, many fans took to social media to discuss the family and vent their thoughts about what had happened, and the Duggars agreed to sit down for an interview to try and clear the air.

“I feel like this should be a discussion that people are having, even regularly. I think that it shouldn’t be a taboo subject, and that we should be bringing awareness to child sexual abuse, and talking about this,” Jessa said during a one-hour special on TLC.

While some felt that the Duggar family had misled them over the years, fans were still eager to catch up with Jessa and Jill, who made countless headlines just before the scandals broke with their weddings and pregnancies. With Counting On, they were able to follow what was going on with their lives as well as get an update on Anna Duggar, who sat down for the cameras to talk about what it was like to find out Josh had been unfaithful. The couple share four children together, and after Josh entered a rehab facility last year, his family moved back home with the Duggars.

“Just recently I visited Josh. It was an important step on a long difficult road. I want to thank all of you for your prayers and your messages of hope. I can never express how your kindness and prayers have brought encouragement when I needed it most – outpacing the grief and discouragement at every turn,” Anna Duggar wrote in a blog post last month.

  • Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard Receive Surprise El Salvador Visit from Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are serving as missionaries in El Salvador, and recently they received some surprise visitors. Jill Duggar’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, traveled to Central America to visit with them, and to spend time with their grandson, 10-month-old Israel Dillard.

Derick Dillard wrote about the visit in his ministry blog.

It was a “great impromptu visit,” he said of the surprise from Jill Duggar’s parents.

“It was great to have them with us and get to show them the work the Lord is doing here,” he added. “Israel definitely enjoyed all the attention when Grandma and Grandpa Duggar came to visit.”

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

While the Dillard family loves the work they are doing as missionaries, something they haven’t grown accustomed to are the creatures that are native to El Salvador.

“We weren’t used to seeing scorpions, tarantulas and cougars back home but we’ve seen them all and the first two multiple times!” Derick wrote. “Jill opened her makeup bag to find a tarantula on top of her toothbrush.”

Jill Duggar Dillard shared her own update on the little family this weekend via Instagram.

“Thank y’all for praying for us. Check out our new update just on our website: www.dillardfamily.com,” she wrote.

It was so nice to visit Jill, Israel and Derick!

Posted by Duggar Family Official on Friday, February 12, 2016

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are the parents of the former 19 Kids and Counting reality show family. The show was cancelled following son Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal. Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard were among his victims. Josh was outed shortly thereafter for having two accounts on the Ashley Madison cheater’s website. He admitted to having an addiction to pornography and to cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar. He has been in a faith-based rehab, working on his “sexual sins” since late summer.

That said, a trip to El Salvador–even with its scorpions and tarantulas, was likely peaceful for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

Jill Duggar Dillard and hubby Derick were no doubt thrilled to have visitors from back home.

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald Speed-Walked Through Much of Her Labor, Highlighted on “Jill & Jessa: Counting On”

Jessa Duggar Seewald and her labor and delivery are highlighted in Sunday’s upcoming episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On. The former 19 Kids and Counting star used a rather unique method to kick her labor into high gear. Once it was determined Jessa Duggar was in labor, the 23-year-old speed-walked to keep labor active and urge their baby along.

Entertainment Tonight reports the method involved many of Jessa’s family members, too.

“If you’re going to try to have a baby, just do it,” Jessa says in a preview clip of Sunday’s show that was provided to ET. “I mean, don’t mosey on down the trail at a snail’s pace! Power walk it. Walk the baby out!”

Surrounded by some of her family members, Jessa Duggar Seewald power-walked–and then she power-walked some more. When she finally returned home, it was time to deliver her baby boy.

Jessa Duggar Seewald and hubby Ben Seewald welcomed Spurgeon Elliot Seewald on November 5–one day after Jessa’s birthday, and four days after her November 1 due date. Spurgeon weighed in at an impressive nine pounds, 11 ounces, and he measured 21 1/4 inches in length. As fans will see on Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Jessa Duggar was transported to the hospital by ambulance following Spurgeon’s birth. Mom Michelle Duggar called 911, and told the dispatcher Jessa was bleeding excessively after delivering her baby.

Have you been following Jill and Jessa Duggar in Jill & Jessa: Counting On? The show is rumored to be TLC’s way of bringing the Duggar family–recently shamed by eldest son Josh Duggar–back to viewers without featuring the man who caused the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting. Josh Duggar sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Jill and Jessa Duggar admitted to being–and sisters Jinger and Jana Duggar were purportedly among–his victims. This summer, following the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting, Josh Duggar was outed during the Ashley Madison website hack. It was determined he had two accounts on the cheater’s website. He then admitted to wife Anna Duggar he had cheated on her. He also admitted to an addiction to pornography. A porn star has filed a lawsuit against Josh Duggar, claiming he was violent during sex.

Fans can see Jessa Duggar Seewald’s labor and birth story–and her penchant for power-walking–on Sunday night’s episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On. It airs on TLC at 9 p.m. ET.

    Will you be tuning in?

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jill Duggar Dillard Star in TLC’s Three-Part “Jill & Jessa: Counting On,” How Will It Do?

Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard are headed back to TLC on Sunday in the first of a three-part special series called Jill & Jessa: Counting On. Resurrected from the dust of 19 Kids and Counting in the wake of Josh Duggar’s two scandals, the Duggar family is working hard to make their way back on to TV in a regular show.

Jill & Jessa: Counting will look at Jill Duggar Dillard, husband Derick, and son Israel, as they work as Christian missionaries in Central America. It will see Jessa Duggar Seewald, who gave birth to son Spurgeon, with husband Ben Seewald on November 5th, start her own family.

Coming as a surprise to many, Anna Duggar will appear in the first (maybe more?) of the three specials. She breaks her silence for the first time about Josh Duggar, who cheated on her with a porn star when Anna was seven months pregnant with the couple’s fourth child. While it’s incredibly unlikely that Anna Duggar will discuss anything like that, her appearance alone was unexpected.

TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting because of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestations of four of his sisters–Jill and Jessa Duggar confirm they are among his victims–and one unrelated underage girl. This summer Josh admitted to cheating on Anna, as well as to an addiction to pornography when he was outed during the Ashley Madison website hacking scandal.

Prior to the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting, it was plain to see that Jill and Jessa Duggar were the members of the Duggar family with the most draw. Young, pretty, and living lives quite unlike most young women these days, they have a certain intrigue that makes people watch, and at times unable to look away.

Will you tune in to see Jill and Jessa Duggar return to TLC? Jill & Jessa: Counting On airs its first episode on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.

How do you suppose this effort on behalf of TLC to keep the Duggar family on TV will do?

  • Jill Duggar Shares Sexy Shot of Her With Hubby Derick, Starts All-Out Instagram Feud

Jill Duggar shared an unusually sexy photo of her with hubby Derick Dillard on Instagram. Do you suppose she had any idea it would start a social media feud of sorts?

Granted, a photo showing two people kissing is considered risque by 19 Kids and Counting standards, but there truly wasn’t anything offensive about the photo.

“#soinlove @derickdillard,” Jill Duggar Dillard captioned the shot.

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

Social media trolls couldn’t leave well enough alone, however. They started fighting amongst themselves in the comments section of Jill Duggar’s Instagram post.

“Awwww…..Josh take the pic?” one commenter rudely asked.

“that is very rude what happened is not her fault if you can be so kind to say you regret your post,” another commented on the question.

The comments went back and forth about Josh Duggar, and soon digressed into whether or not Jill Duggar is qualified as a midwife. They wound up with Christians professing their faith and sticking up for the Duggar family.

Jill’s post makes it very clear there are pro-Duggar and anti-Duggar folks just dying to share their two cents worth via social media.

Jill Duggar Dillard and sister Jessa Duggar Seewald will soon be back on TLC. They will star in three TLC specials, titled Jill & Jessa: Counting On. Rumor has it, if the viewership is strong, this could become the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff.

Surely those who commented on Jill Duggar’s Instagram post will have plenty to say about that, too.

Whether you do or don’t support the former 19 Kids and Counting family, one thing is for sure. Each of them has to have very thick skin.

What’s your take on Jill’s photo of her and hubby Derick kissing?

Who can find fault with love?

  • Jessa Duggar Enjoys Baby Shower Fun as TLC Cameras Roll, Shares 3-D Ultrasound Pick of Baby “Quincy”

Jessa Duggar Seewald was lauded at a co-ed fall-themed baby shower in recent days, surrounded by many of the 19 Kids and Counting family members and lots of dear friends. Also on the invite list was TLC. They had their cameras rolling for an upcoming episode of the three-episode special that fans (and like the Duggar family, too) hope will become the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff. Jill & Jessa: Counting On will air in December.

Due on November 1st, if Jessa Duggar’s baby arrives on her due date, she and hubby Ben Seewald will have a double celebration. November 1st is their first wedding anniversary.

Recent photos indicate Jessa will soon give birth.

“She’s looking the part,” a source tells People magazine of Jessa Duggar Seewald. “She’s adorable. She didn’t gain any weight in her face at all. She’s absolutely flawless!”

Like sister Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar has shared pregnancy progression photos every few weeks to keep friend and fans apprised of the big countdown.

Jessa Duggar’s most recent post is a 3-D ultrasound of the baby they refer to as “Quincy.” In the post, she compares the baby’s features with her baby picture and one of Ben’s, too.

“Sitting here dreaming about the moment when we will meet our little one face-to-face… and wondering if our baby will carry more Seewald or Duggar characteristics and features! I’m thinking #BabySeewald will be a sweet mix of the two of us! ❤️ What do you think? Just 10 more days till baby’s due date!” Jessa captioned the post.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Jessa Duggar no doubt received many wonderful gifts for her baby at her shower. Since it was co-ed, dad Jim Bob Duggar, brother-in-law Derick Dillard, and of course hubby Ben Seewald were all on hand to join in the fun. Noticeably absent, however, were Josh and Anna Duggar. Josh is in a rehab facility in Illinois, receiving faith-based counseling for his “sexual sins.” Jessa Duggar was one of the siblings Josh Duggar sexually molested when he was a teen. Jessa has also been the most vocal about Josh’s actions. The pain Jessa and Jill Duggar experienced at the hands of Josh through that sex scandal and a more recent one, when he was discovered to have two Ashley Madison accounts on the cheater’s website, and admitted to cheating on Anna Duggar, comes to light in a clip of the upcoming TLC show.

Even though Jessa Duggar will have given birth by then, fans are no doubt looking forward to seeing her feted at her baby shower, surrounded by members of the 19 Kids and Counting family.

The countdown is certainly on for Jessa Duggar Seewald. She has just over a week to go before her due date. Do you think Jill Duggar–who is a midwife–will be on hand for Jessa’s labor and delivery?

Do you predict a baby boy or a girl for Jessa and Ben?

  • Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard Return to El Salvador to Serve as Missionaries

Jill Duggar, hubby Derick Dillard, and their son Israel left Arkansas on Monday to return to El Salvador, where they serve as Christian missionaries.

The family said goodbye in a Facebook post, as well as on their Dillard Family website.

“We had a great visit recently to the States and as always it was a little hard to say goodbye! We are headed back to Central America. In the weeks ahead language school will become much more intense as we work to become fluent in Spanish. It will be many months before we are able to make a short visit back to the States again. Here’s a few pics as we left this weekend. Please keep praying for us–we are praying for you!” the post reads.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have come under fire in recent weeks because of the donations they solicited via this same website for their work as missionaries. Some believe they haven’t used the donated funds properly. As a result, Jill and Derick have added a refund button to their website, so that those who feel this way can get their money back.

It has been a bit questionable as to why Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have made two trips home to Arkansas from Central America since first leaving on their missions trip this summer. On one occasion they attended the wedding of a member of the popular Bates family–another large family with a reality TV show with whom the Duggars are close friends. During that trip Jill Duggar–along with sister Jessa Duggar Seewald and their mom Michelle Duggar–filmed the TLC special on sexual abuse in New York.

This most recent trip to the U.S. no doubt found Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard once again filming for TLC. A clip of some upcoming TLC specials, titled Jill & Jessa: Counting On–set to air in December–was released Monday. This show could eventually become a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff.

In the new clip, Jill Duggar and her sister cry openly about the recent scandals involving brother Josh Duggar, that have rocked the Duggar family to its core.

If the show takes off, it’s likely Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard will make even more trips home to the U.S. for filming, unless TLC opts to send a film crew to Central America to catch Jill and Derick in action as missionaries.

In the meantime, Jessa Duggar Seewald must be heartbroken that Jill Duggar has once again left for El Salvador. Jessa is due to have her first baby with hubby Ben Seewlad on November 1st, and likely hoped midwife sister Jill would be present for the birth.

Do you think if Jill & Jessa: Counting On takes off that TLC might capture some of what Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are doing as missionaries? That might quell the outcry from those who believe the couple has misused donated funds.

  • Jessa Seewald: Sister Jill Dillard Gives Her Prenatal Checkup in “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” Clip

Jessa Seewald is expecting her first baby with hubby Ben on November 1st. In a clip for what may become the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff on TLC, sister Jill Duggar Dillard is seen giving Jessa a prenatal checkup.

Jill was studying to become a midwife when she and husband Derick Dillard, along with their baby Israel, left for Central America to serve as missionaries. No one has yet confirmed why the family is back in the states, but it likely has to do with filming for TLC.

Jessa Duggar Seewald is rumored to be unhappy about all the scandal surrounding the 19 Kids and Counting family because she hoped for a TLC special about the birth of her baby, the way they aired one when Jill Duggar gave birth to Israel. Jessa has denied these rumors, however, and it’s beyond clear she has suffered as a result of her brother Josh Duggar’s actions. Not only have Jessa and Jill admitted they were victimized by their older brother when he sexually molested underage girls as a teenager, they have no doubt been embarrassed and hurt by his more recent sex scandal. Josh Duggar admitted he is addicted to pornography after he was outed during the Ashley Madison website hack. He was found to have two accounts on the cheater’s website, and shortly after admitted he had cheated on wife Anna Duggar while she was pregnant with their fourth child.

In the clip for the new show–which right now is set to air as specials, and not a spinoff–Jessa Seewald and sister Jill Dillard cry over the events that have rocked their family to the core. Jessa Seewald, however, appears determined to find the blessings despite the recent scandals.

One of those blessings for Jessa is the impending birth of her baby. She and Ben Seewald claim they know the sex of the unborn child, but aren’t sharing that information. They jokingly refer to the baby as “Quincy,” which stemmed from initially calling him or her simply “Q.”

Jessa Seewald enjoyed some pre-pregnancy pampering last week–enjoying some time with her mother-in-law, a pumpkin spice drink, and a luxurious pedicure.

“My sweet mother-in-law treated me to a pumpkin spice drink from #MamaCarmens, and Sierra insisted that I get something cheery painted on my toes in prep for labor! Y’all are spoiling me! ??? –with @sierrajodominguez & @seewaldfamily at @mama_carmens,” Jessa captioned an Instagram post highlighting her outing.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Will you check out Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard, along with their husbands, in the TLC specials, Jill & Jessa: Counting On, set to air in December? By then, Jessa Seewald will be a mom.

It will be interesting to learn if Jill plans to be present when Jessa Seewald gives birth.

Do you expect the sisters will draw enough viewers to warrant a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff?

  • Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard Offering Refunds to Those Who Donated to Their Work as Missionaries

Jill Duggar and hubby Derick Dillard have come under fire in recent months since leaving to serve as missionaries in Central America. Answering a request for donations on their blog page, some who donated have started questioning exactly what they were helping to fund.

Questions first arose when Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard returned home for the wedding of a member of the Bates family–another large Christian family with a reality TV show. They then returned just weeks later for cousin Amy Duggar’s wedding.

Lately, some have wondered if the Dillard Family Ministries–i.e. Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard–are soliciting funds to simply live in a foreign country. Instead of taking Spanish lessons prior to leaving for El Salvador, they have studied while away–leaving many to question the validity of their donations.

Apparently lots of people have complained, because Jill and Derick now offer an option for refunds on their website’s donation page.

In Touch Weekly reported a while back that Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s home church in Arkansas didn’t feel their work was sufficient enough to deem them missionaries by their own church’s standards.

While a refund option has appeared on the Dillard Family Ministries site, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are still soliciting donations for their work as missionaries.

What do you suppose is going on with the former 19 Kids and Counting star and her husband? Is their work in Central America legitimate?

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are presently home in Arkansas at this time. Just three days ago she posted a photo of their son Israel in the company of some of the younger 19 Kids and Counting siblings.

“Check out our website for recent pics and a new blog update! www.dillardfamily.com,” Jill Duggar Dillard posted.

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

Do you think Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are legitimately soliciting donations for their work as missionaries? Or are people funding a missions trip the two simply hope to take some day?

  • Jill Dillard Thanks Fans For Support Before Heading Back To TLC

Jill Dillard and TLC announced this week that she and sister Jessa will be the focus of at least two specials soon, and Jill took to social media to thank fans for their support of her family.

Rumors have been floating around for a while now that Jill and Jessa would be getting their own spinoff show on TLC after 19 Kids And Counting was canceled, but nothing was confirmed until the network announced it to the Associated Press on Monday. According to TLC executive vice president Nancy Daniels, there will be “two or more” specials focusing on the Duggar girls, one of which will follow Jill and her family during their move to Central America.

“What we will be following in these specials is Jessa preparing for her first child. And we’ll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in,” Daniels said.

Jill and husband Derick Dillard made the move for their mission work, but have traveled back to the states a few times for family events, including Jill’s cousin Amy Duggar’s wedding. Jill hasn’t said much about her brother Josh, however, other than to give an interview to Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly after it was revealed that he had sexually molested her and Jessa when they were younger. Following the revelation, TLC made the decision to cancel the family’s reality show, and Josh was soon in the headlines again after hackers exposed the personal information of millions of Ashley Madison users. Josh admitted that he had been unfaithful to his wife, Anna, and has reportedly been in a faith-based rehabilitation center for the past several weeks.

  • Josh Duggar: Is He Still in Rehab? How is Wife Anna Duggar and the Former ’19 Kids and Counting’ Gang?

Josh Duggar has made headlines since spring, with his sexual molestation scandal and more recently for his Ashley Madison scandal. During the second scandal Josh Duggar admitted–only because he’d been caught–to having an addiction to pornography and to cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

For the past couple of weeks, all has been relatively quiet on the Josh Duggar front.

Is he still in rehab? And how is his wife and the rest of the former 19 Kids and Counting gang doing in light of the pain and embarrassment he has caused?

E! News spoke very recently with a source close to the Duggar family, and learned that Josh Duggar is, in fact, still in rehab.

“And Anna is still by his side supporting him,” the source added.

Despite pleas from her own brother to pack up the four kids and ditch Josh Duggar, Anna is sticking to her wedding vows.

“She isn’t in Arkansas,” the source said. “She is getting support from her family. She is staying with her mom.”

Josh’s sister, Jill Duggar Dillard, and her family returned home from Central America where they serve as Christian missionaries, to attend cousin Amy Duggar’s wedding. Jill recently shared a photo of herself with hubby Derick Dillard and their baby boy, Israel.

“Headed to @krispykreme for some free donuts on #PirateDay today! @derickdillard #babypirate #piratefamily,” she captioned the shot of the family dresses as pirates.

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

“They are home for a while before they go back on a new mission,” the Duggar source told E! News. “They are doing training and preparation for the next missionary trip. They are looking to do full time missionary work.”

Jill Duggar achieved a huge milestone while home, too. She passed her exams to become a certified professional midwife.

Jessa Duggar Seewald, who is expecting her first child with hubby Ben Seewald on November 1, posted an Instagram picture of Jill Duggar Dillard and family, congratulating her on her latest achievement.

“Congrats to my sister Jill!” Jessa captioned the shot.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

It certainly seems that although the Duggar family lost their reality show to Josh Duggar’s actions, that life is progressing normally for most of the 19 Kids and Counting family in his absence. Aside from Anna Duggar, they all seem to be moving through their every day activities, oblivious to the sexual deviant who lived among them.

It’s uncertain how much longer Josh Duggar will be away, but one can only hope and pray that someone convinces Anna Duggar to ditch her husband before he comes home. If not, he will surely cause even more upset in her–and their children’s–lives.

Most people–including Dr. Phil McGraw–believe that more of Josh Duggar’s “sexual sins” will soon be brought to light.

  • Josh Duggar Scandal Could Be Bigger Than We Know

Josh Duggar resigned from his high-profile job at the Family Research Council, lost his well-paying gig on the hit reality show 19 Kids And Counting, and alienated friends, family and fans after news broke earlier this year that not only did he sexually molest several underage girls as a teen (including some of his sisters), he cheated on his wife Anna through the hookup site Ashley Madison. Now, Dr. Phil says he believes the Duggar scandal is even bigger than anyone realizes, because the whole truth hasn’t come out yet.

“What I’m really concerned about with regard to that. We have not seen the bottom of that yet. My dad used to say that for every rat you see, there’s 50 you don’t. To assume that everything you see is everything there is, would really be naive. I just don’t believe that the whole truth has come out yet,” Phil told the panel of The View.

The Duggar family issued a statement after Josh’s name and email address was leaked in the Ashley Madison hack, saying that he had brought shame to their family and was seeking counseling in a long-term rehabilitation center. It’s believed to be the Reformers Unanimous in Rockford, Illinois, a place reportedly much like the facility he attended after he molested his sisters at the age of 14.

TLC removed 19 Kids And Counting from their lineup almost immediately after news broke of Josh’s molestation scandal, and although rumors have flown that they were to extend an offer to Jessa and Jill Duggar for their own spinoff, nothing has come of that yet. Instead, the network aired a one-hour special last month focusing on victims of sexual abuse which featured Jill and Jessa, who confirmed to Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly earlier this year that they were two of Josh’s victims.

  • Jill Duggar Dillard and Husband Accused of Scamming People Who Funded Their Mission Trip

Jill Duggar and hubby Derick Dillard have come under fire in recent days, with some folks thinking they’ve scammed them out of money donated toward their mission trip to Central America.

It was last week when the Dillard family once again touched down on U.S. soil–their second trip home this summer–for the wedding of 19 Kids and Counting cousin Amy Duggar to Dillon King. Several people who donated money for the couple’s missionary work via their website seem a bit perplexed by two trips home to the U.S in such a short period of time.

“So what exactly are you doing to help people in El Salvador? Your donors would like a detailed statement of what their money is being used for,” one Facebook comment reads. “As far as I can see, all you guys are doing is going to Spanish class and making fun of the locals. Oh, I forgot. You also did that stupid interpretive dance thing. Have you done anything worthwhile to actually help people, or are you just there to convert Catholics?”

“Jill, how did you spend my donation for your mission trip?” another user asks. “Where are the pictures of the hospital, schools and bible studies you helped with? Can you post them so I can show everyone why I donated to your cause?”

Jill Duggar Dillard posted a throwback photo for Throwback Thursday via her Instagram account. Might it be in response to those questioning exactly what she and her husband are doing in Central America?

“My heart aches for the hardships these people are facing daily due to pressure and violence from the gangs. Please pray for their safety!” she wrote. “We look forward to returning there to continue ministering after language school!” she captioned it.

Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard, posted to their Dillard Family website on Thursday, too, updating followers on why the family is back in the U.S.

“Jill, Israel, and I recently arrived back in the States for a planned, month long trip to take care of some things and enjoy time with family and friends while we’re here, before heading back to Central America,” he wrote.

Jill Duggar Dillard and her family attended Amy Duggar and Dillon King’s wedding with most of the 19 Kids and Counting family. Josh Duggar didn’t attend, as he is said to be at a rehab facility called Reformers Unanimous receiving therapy for his sex addiction. Earlier in the summer Josh made news for having sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teen. Jill Duggar and sister Jessa Duggar Seewald were among his victims. More recently, Josh Duggar admitted to having an addiction to pornography and to cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

Hopefully there is no truth behind some of the innuendoes about Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard misappropriating funds they received for their work as missionaries.

Do you believe either Jill Duggar Dillard or her husband would do such a thing?

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ Former Stars Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard to Raise Sexual Abuse Awareness

19 Kids and Counting was cancelled because of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s eldest son Josh Duggar and his sexual molestation scandal. On Sunday, former stars Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard–two of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims–appeared on a TLC special called Breaking the Silence. While on the show, the Duggar sisters said they want to raise awareness about sexual abuse.

Josh Duggar was a teenager when he sexually molested four members of the 19 Kids and Counting family. In addition to Jill and Jessa Duggar, it is thought that sisters Jinger and Jana Duggar were victimized as well.

During the TLC special, Jessa Duggar addressed sexual abuse.

“I feel like this should be a discussion that people are having, even regularly,” she said. “I think that it shouldn’t be a taboo subject and that we should be bringing awareness to child sexual abuse and talking about it.”

Jill Duggar added, “It was amazing to understand that there are so many people that deal with the exact same thing in their own families, so just being educated is very good.”

Former 19 Kids and Counting matriarch Michelle Duggar appeared on the TLC special with her daughters.

“I was so glad that my girls and I were able to do this together,” she said on Sunday’s documentary. “And that we could just be a support and encouragement to each other to be able to gain more information about this important topic.”

Sadly, the 19 Kids and Counting family has been devastated by Josh Duggar yet again. During the recent Ashley Madison website hacking it was discovered that Josh had two accounts. He later admitted to having an addiction to pornography and to having cheated on his wife Anna Duggar.

  • Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald On Opposite Sides of Josh Duggar Ashley Madison Scandal

Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald both admit they are victims of their brother’s sexual molestations when Josh Duggar was a teen. They both claim to have forgiven their brother, too.

Now Josh Duggar is in the news for yet another sex-related scandal, but the sisters sit on opposite ends of the spectrum with regard to how their brother should be treated this time around.

Josh Duggar entered rehab on Wednesday amidst all sorts of rumors about the former 19 Kids and Counting star. A stripper and porn star came forward, claiming Josh Duggar had rough sex with her.

Josh admitted to having two Ashley Madison accounts, having an addiction to pornography, and cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

Since Josh Duggar’s latest admission via the family’s website, Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald have both broken their silences on the matter via social media.

Jessa Duggar Seewald shared words of Scripture.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

She then Tweeted words to a hymn.

Most believe that Jessa Duggar Seewald forgives Josh Duggar for his most recent scandal, and believes others should forgive him, too.

Sister Jill Duggar Dillard is apparently not buying it this time, however. She urged fans via social media to tune in to a sermon preached by Pastor Ronnie Floyd at Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas, where the Duggar family has attended services. The sermon clearly states that sexual sin is wrong.

Jill Duggar Dillard is in Central America serving as a missionary alongside husband Derick Dillard and sister Joy Duggar. Jessa Duggar Seeewald is home in Arkansas expecting her first child with hubby Ben Seewald.

Do you think this latest Josh Duggar scandal might tear the two Duggar sisters apart?

  • ’19 Kids and Counting’ Patriarch Jim Bob Duggar Has ‘Authority’ Over Michelle Duggar and Kids

19 Kids and Counting was cancelled, but that hasn’t kept its stars–the Duggar family and many of its members–out of the media spotlight. Josh Duggar, the reason for TLC’s cancellation of the popular reality TV show, recently admitted to his involvement in a new scandal. He had two Ashley Madison accounts, is addicted to pornography, and cheated on his wife Anna Duggar.

In a new report, revelations about 19 Kids and Counting patriarch Jim Bob Duggar will no doubt leave some wondering what really goes on behind the Duggar family doors.

“Jim Bob’s favorite word is ‘no,’” one Duggar family source says. “He’s like a dictator. He once saw a guy kissing a girl before marriage and confronted him about it. And the guy said, ‘Jim Bob, show me that verse in the Bible that says we can’t kiss. Get out your Bible.’ And Jim Bob was like, ‘Uhhhh …’ because no one ever confronts Jim Bob. No one.”

This concerns those closest to the Duggar family, and the biggest concern right now is for Anna Duggar. Reports have surfaced saying Anna Duggar won’t leave Josh–even after he admitted to cheating on her.

“The scary thing is, I don’t know who is talking to Anna, outside of the people in Duggarville,” the source says.

When Josh Duggar made his latest confession, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar issued a statement, saying they were disappointed, but praying about these latest developments.

Some people have long believed that because the 19 Kids and Counting family lives in the south, that they belong to the Southern Baptist Church. That isn’t true. The Duggar family’s belief align with fundamental Christianity, but adhere to a Christian ideology called conservative patriarchy. This means the father/husband rules the household. It also means sexuality and sex aren’t discussed–ever.

“They don’t talk about sex. They don’t talk about sexuality,” the Duggar family source says.

The Duggar children–including newly married daughters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–are almost completely cut off from the secular world. The family source says Jim Bob Duggar once removed batteries from his children’s toys that made music, “because he didn’t want [his kids] to dance or move their bodies that way.”

In the 2014 book, Growing Up Duggar, four of the Duggar daughters–including Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar–explained that the family has a code word to help the boys and men deal with lustful thoughts if an attractive woman is in their midst.

    That word is “Nike.”

“That’s a signal to the boys, and even to Dad, that they should nonchalantly drop their eyes and look down at their shoes as we walk past her,” they wrote in the book.

“They say it, and all the boys look straight down to the floor every time. It’s like an automatic military thing. Things like that blow my mind,” the family source says.

Based on the things shared by this 19 Kids and Counting source, it certainly sounds like poor Anna Duggar doesn’t stand a chance. She will pray and remain secluded with her cheating husband who abused his sisters–Jill and Jessa Duggar admit they are his victims, and many expect that Jinger Duggar and Jana Duggar are the other siblings he victimized. Josh Duggar also molested one non-relative underage girl. Anna Duggar has no chance of escaping this insanity.

Did you have any idea that Jim Bob Duggar ran the 19 Kids and Counting family in this manner? This kind of control surely contributed to the way Josh Duggar is and could manifest itself in other negative ways in more of the Duggar family members, too.

  • Jill Duggar Tweets Sermon on Infidelity, Related to Latest Josh Duggar Scandal?

Jill Duggar Tweeted a sermon on infidelity in the wake of her brother Josh Duggar’s latest scandal. Josh Duggar–who previously admitted to molesting Jill and sister Jessa Duggar–now admits to having two Ashley Madison accounts as well as to cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

The sermon Jill Duggar Tweeted was given by Pastor Ronnie Floyd of Cross Church in Arkansas. This is the church where Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard a year ago June.

Pastor Floyd’s sermon is about the “sexual epidemic” in the U.S., and the topic of infidelity in marriage.

Something Pastor Floyd said during his sermon on infidelity that has commenters on Jill Duggar’s Instagram account on fire is that women are responsible for keeping their husbands happy so they don’t stray.

Does this mean Anna Duggar is to blame for Josh Duggar’s infidelity? Hopefully Jill Duggar isn’t backing the pastor on that facet of his sermon.

The pastor does, however, say that it is wrong to be unfaithful–both sexually and emotionally–to one’s spouse.

What do you think Jill Duggar’s purpose of sharing this sermon with her followers might have been? Is she supporting Josh Duggar or admonishing him for his recent actions?

  • Jessa Duggar Admitted She Was Josh Duggar’s Victim, Is Instagram Post Aimed at His Sin of Cheating on Anna Duggar?

Jessa Duggar admitted via a televised interview that she was, in fact, one of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims. She and sister Jill Duggar claimed they had forgiven their brother, however.

In a new Instagram post, Jessa Duggar shared some Scripture passages. Fans are no doubt wondering if the post is aimed at Josh Duggar and his even more recent fall from grace. It was just last week that Josh was outed for having two Ashley Madison accounts, after which he admitted to an addiction to pornography and to having cheated on his wife, Anna Duggar.

Many of the commenters on Jessa Duggar’s post clearly believe she is thinking of her brother when considering this Bible passage.

“actually, his behavior doesn’t show how he was raisedis bad, but that he’s not above sin. Obviously, what his parents thought was dealt with in the past, may have been temporarily, but was eventually reopened and better hidden. Given they changed things last time, I imagine they have this time too, but I’m sure it’s not how you desire to see them changed,” a commenter named 4pure.joy wrote.

Jessa Duggar didn’t caption her post.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth,” the passage reads. “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanest us from all sin.”

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Is Jessa Duggar admonishing her brother Josh in these passages or is she–once again–making excuses for him?

Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald are expecting their first baby in early November. Besides this post, the second of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s daughters to wed has remained silent about Josh Duggar’s latest scandal.

Josh Duggar issued a statement when he was outed last week.

“I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him,” he wrote in a statement on the family’s website.

Tony Perkins, the Family Research Council president–and Josh Duggar’s former boss–issued a statement in light of Josh’s latest confession.

“Last night we learned from online reports about allegations concerning Josh Duggar and then read his confession today,” he wrote in the statement. “We are grieved by Josh’s conduct and the devastating impact of his pornography addiction and marital unfaithfulness.”

“Our hearts hurt for his family, and all those affected by Josh’s actions,” he continued. “His deceitful behavior harms his family, his friends, his former coworkers, and the cause he has publicly espoused. Those of us who advocate for family values in the public square are held to a higher standard, and Josh’s failures serve as a painful reminder of the destructive effects of not living with integrity. We are praying for the family.”

While Josh’s actions clearly impact his family, Anna Duggar and Jessa Duggar are no doubt feeling that impact more than the rest. Jessa Duggar simply wants to proceed with her healthy pregnancy in a stress-free manner. Wife Anna Duggar gave birth to Josh’s fourth child just weeks before this latest scandal.

Maybe Jessa Duggar should get out of the country for a few weeks and join sister Jill Duggar Dillard and her family on their mission trip in Central America. Of course she would need permission from her doctor or midwife to travel, but it might be in her best interest to leave this scandal behind.

Do you think Jessa Duggar was once again forgiving her brother–and urging others to do the same–in her recent Instagram post?

  • Jill Duggar Visited U.S., Returned to Central America With Joy Duggar in Tow

Jill Duggar Dillard made a very brief visit home to the U.S. last week. The former 19 Kids and Counting star was in New York City, filming a TLC special called Breaking the Silence. Jill is admittedly one of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims. She and sister Jessa Duggar agreed to appear on the show about sexual abuse victims.

While home, Jill Duggar also attended the wedding of Bringing Up Bates star Michaella Bates. When she and hubby Derick Dillard–along with baby boy Israel–returned to Central America to further their work as missionaries, they had sister Joy Duggar as well as Michaella Bates’s sister Carin Bates in tow.

When Jill Duggar and her family were spotted in New York City just days ago, fans wondered if they had finished their work as missionaries in El Salvador.

Jill clarified that in an Instagram post she shared with her followers on Sunday. It is clear in the photo that Joy Duggar and Carin Bates are accompanying Jill and Derick on their mission trip this time.

“Traveling back to Central America with these two! #joyduggar #carlinbates,” she captioned the post.

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

Meanwhile sister Jessa Duggar is having a hard time with her pregnancy–but not because anything is physically wrong. When Jill Duggar Dillard had baby Israel, the birth was featured in a special episode of 19 Kids and Counting on TLC. The family’s reality show was cancelled because of brother Josh Duggar’s actions, so Jessa won’t enjoy the same kind of excitement when she and hubby Ben Seewald welcome their first child in November.

It’s uncertain how much longer Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband, sister, and family friend will spend in Central America. It would probably be nice for Jessa Duggar if she were home before her baby arrives.
