  • Jessa Seewald, Jill Dillard Open Up About Josh Duggar’s Betrayal

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard opened up about the scandals that have rocked their family this year during the first part of a three-part special over the weekend, and they say that their brother Josh’s betrayal after he cheated on his wife Anna was extremely hard to live with.

Both girls were involved in the first scandal that garnered national attention back in May, when a police report was leaked to the world showing Josh’s involvement in the sexual molestation of Jessa, Jill, and other girls when he was 14 years old. Although they sat down for an interview with Megyn Kelly and said they had forgiven Josh, the damage was swiftly done to the Duggar family’s name, and their reality show, 19 Kids And Counting, was canceled from TLC’s lineup. The new show–Counting On–will give fans some closure and allow Jessa and Jill to talk about their side of what happened.

“Over the years, Josh worked really hard to repair our trust in him, and he became someone we could really look up to. Josh ended up confessing to us that he had gotten addicted to pornography and had been unfaithful to his wife, and we were devastated. It felt like it was just a bad dream. How could this happen?” Jessa said on the series.

Jessa and Jill both had a big year in 2015 outside of the scandals, as they are each newlyweds and both had their first children in recent months, and the show will reportedly feature much of their new lives as well as give them a chance to talk about what happened with Josh. For both sisters, the fact that such big life changes came at the same time as a huge betrayal was overwhelming.

“Here I am, most joyful time of my life, newly married [with a] baby on the way. And then people go digging up old bones. It was really, really frustrating,” Jessa Seewald said.

Jessa and Jill have been active on social media throughout the ordeal, keeping fans updated on their lives as they adjust to parenthood and as Jill and her husband Derick complete their missionary duties in Central America. For as many fans as the family reportedly pushed away with Josh’s scandal, the sisters appear to have retained most of theirs throughout the ordeal; Jessa’s Instagram posts of new baby Spurgeon have garnered thousands of “likes”.

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard: Some Family Members Boycotting TLC “Counting On” Special

Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Dillard are clearly excited to let the world into their respective expansions of the Duggar family on TLC’s upcoming three-part special, Jill and Jessa: Counting On.

Jessa Duggar Seewald will share insight into her life as a wife and now a new mother. Her wedding was a major event for the Duggars and she quickly became a mother to the couple’s son, Spurgeon Elliot.

Jill Duggar Dillard will share her life as a fairly new mom and the life that her and her husband have created as missionaries.

However, it seems the focus may not entirely be in Jill and Jessa Duggar. In a preview for the special, Anna Duggar is shown to have a part in the show.

Anna Duggar is, of course, dealing with major issues in her marriage to Josh Duggar, who recently lost his job and had to move back near his family after admitting to the molestation of five young girls when he was a teenager, a recent affair and a pornography addiction.

Josh Duggar is in a faith-based rehab facility, but it looks like Anna Duggar might be speaking of the ordeal on a platform that some Duggar family members don’t find appropriate.

While Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Dillard seem pleased to share the spotlight with the struggling Anna Duggar, some family members are boycotting the special by refusing to appear in it.

So, while the specific family members haven’t been named, it will be easy to figure out.

A source close to the family reportedly said that the special is “turning into a circus” and “family members are disagreeing with a lot of what they are doing.”

Especially putting any focus on Anna Duggar “at a time like this.”

Do you think Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald should have shared the special with a distraught Anna Duggar while she is still dealing with these issues?

  • Jill Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald Promote Sexual Abuse Awareness in TLC Special Alongside Mom Michelle Duggar

Jill Dillard (nee Duggar) and sister Jessa Duggar Seewald are admitted sexual molestation victims of their brother Josh Duggar. In a TLC special that aired Sunday, the Duggar sisters, along with their mom Michelle Duggar, vowed to raise awareness for sexual abuse and its victims.

The hour-long special, called Breaking the Silence, made no mention of Josh Duggar, and it was filmed before his Ashley Madison cheating scandal made news. Jill Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald didn’t address their specific situation, but acknowledged the need for more awareness.

“I feel like this should be a discussion that people are having, even regularly,” Jessa said. “I think that it shouldn’t be a taboo subject and that we should be bringing awareness to child sexual abuse and talking about it.”

“It was amazing to understand that there are so many people that deal with the exact same thing in their own families, so just being educated is very good,” Jill Dillard added.

Michelle Duggar was impressed by both of her daughters.

“I was so glad that my girls and I were able to do this together,” she said. “And that we could just be a support and encouragement to each other to be able to gain more information about this important topic.”

Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald weren’t the only sexual abuse victims on the TLC special. Teri Hatcher of Desperate Housewives fame and Cheryl Burke of Dancing With the Stars fame–as well as other advocates–were featured, too.

“Dance was my escape from reality,” Cheryl Burke said. “I was able to start building my confidence and know that I don’t need anybody to be happy. I just needed just me. I needed to know that I could do this on my own. I’m proof that you can actually move on from this.”

If even one person was helped by listening to Jill Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, or the others involved in Breaking the Silence, then TLC has done a great service in raising awareness for this most necessary cause.

Do you think Jessa Seewald and Jill Duggar appeared on this show for the right reasons, however? Might they have agreed to do so in an effort to save their family’s reality show, 19 Kids and Counting? TLC hadn’t yet cancelled the show when the Duggars agreed to appear.

  • Michelle Duggar: Proud Grandmother of Meredith Grace Announces Arrival of Josh and Anna Duggar’s New Baby Girl

Michelle Duggar now has five grandchildren. Anna Duggar, who was deemed overdue last weekend, gave birth on Sunday. Michelle and husband Jim Bob Duggar announced the happy news on Sunday in a short video clip.

Posting the clip on The Duggar Family website, they had help from Josh and Anna Duggar’s son Marcus, who was clearly staying with his grandparents while his new baby sister was born.

Meredith Grace Duggar is Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s fifth grandchild–and the fourth child for Josh and Anna. Already the parents of a daughter and two sons, Meredith Grace’s arrival evens things out in that Duggar household.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have experienced a vast array of highs and lows in the past couple of weeks. In addition to dealing with Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal since it hit the media back in May, they have said goodbye to daughter and son-in-law Derick and Jill Dillard, as well as grandson Israel, as their family headed to Central America to serve as missionaries. And then just two days before Anna Duggar gave birth to baby Meredith, TLC announced they were canceling the Duggar family reality show, 19 Kids and Counting. Add to this mix the resurgence of an old Duggar family scandal–Jim Bob Duggar’s brother-in-law allegedly transmitted genital herpes to a woman many years ago–and then the engagement of this brother-in-law’s daughter, Amy Duggar–and the highs and lows Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are likely still digesting might make some people question their own sanity.

Yet Michelle Duggar relies on her strong Christian faith–as does her whole family–and she maintains it will see her through all of the present insanity the family is enduring.

Fortunately blessings abound in the 19 Kids and Counting family, too, and the latest one is a beautiful baby girl. Meredith Grace Duggar came into the world weighing a healthy seven pounds, 14 ounces, and measuring an impressive 20.5 inches in length. Mom and baby are doing well, and to Michelle Duggar, that is no doubt the greatest blessing of all.

  • Jill Duggar: Sister-in-Law Anna Duggar Has Baby Girl

Jill Duggar is in Central America, working alongside husband Derick Dillard as a missionary. Back home in Arkansas, Jill’s sister-in-law Anna Duggar gave birth to a baby girl this weekend. Jill is no doubt missing the excitement her family is experiencing.

Since Jill Duggar was in training to become a midwife prior to leaving the country, she likely would have helped Anna Duggar through at least some stages of her labor.

Jill had planned on delivering her own baby, son Israel Dillard, at home. Complications, however, sent Jill Duggar to the hospital where she had a C-section instead.

Jill Duggar and her husband recently updated their fans on their mission trip via their blog, saying the people in the Central American country where they’re working are fascinated with their baby boy. It is unusual for people to see white babies in that country, so they have taken a great interest in little Israel. Jill and Derick also shared in their blog post about converting an elderly woman to Christianity–which is what their mission trip is all about.

Surely by now Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have seen the photo that Josh Duggar shared of new baby Meredith Grace. He took a picture of himself with Anna Duggar and the new baby and shared it via social media earlier on Sunday.

Josh also shared this precious shot of baby Meredith Grace.

Do you think the birth of Anna Duggar’s baby is making Jill Duggar homesick?

It’s uncertain how long she and Derick Dillard plan to stay in Central America.

  • Anna Duggar Gives Birth, She and Josh Duggar Welcome Baby Meredith Grace

Anna Duggar and husband Josh Duggar have welcomed baby Meredith Grace into their world this weekend. Anna Duggar gave birth to the family’s fourth child and second daughter on Sunday.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar–with help from Josh and Anna Duggar’s son Marcus–shared the exciting news via the Duggar Family’s website just a short time ago.

Anna Duggar was overdue with this child. In an earlier blog post, Michelle Duggar noted that Anna had always gone early with her three previous babies–McKenzie, Michael, and Marcus.

The birth of Josh and Anna Duggar’s new baby makes five grandchildren for Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar. Jim Bob celebrated his 50th birthday this weekend. What a great birthday gift a granddaughter makes.

Little Meredith Grace Duggar’s dad, Josh Duggar, has made news in recent months since word of a sexual molestation scandal that took place when he was a teen, aired in the media. It is the reason behind the family losing their reality show. TLC announced last week they are canceling 19 Kids and Counting.

Just last week Anna Duggar and Jessa Duggar Seewald compared the sizes of their growing bellies. Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are expecting their first child in November.

It’s been a week of highs and lows for the Duggar family. Between the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting, word that Derick and Jill Dillard are hard at work as missionaries in Central America, Jim Bob Duggar’s 50th birthday, and now word that Anna Duggar has given birth–it’s plain to see there is never a dull moment for the Duggars.

Hopefully someone will post a photo of Josh and Anna Duggar’s new baby, Meredith Grace, soon.

  • Jim Bob Duggar Celebrates 50th Birthday Amidst Family Scandals, ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation

Jim Bob Duggar Celebrates 50th Birthday Amidst Family Scandals, ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation

Jim Bob Duggar turned 50 this weekend, and the Duggar family celebrated as usual, despite being deluged with scandal, including the announcement of the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting.

On Saturday, Michelle Duggar, and several of the Duggar’s 19 children created short video clips wishing Jim Bob Duggar a very happy birthday.

Noticeably absent from the family fun were Derick and Jill Dillard, and their son Israel. The Dillard family is in Central America, serving as missionaries there. They recently updated the family and fans with their activities, and how they are settling in to the culture of a foreign country.

Michelle Duggar shared the happy birthday video clips for Jim Bob on The Duggar Family website.

Check out what little Jordyn Duggar had to say.

This next birthday message for Jim Bob Duggar comes from daughter Jennifer.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s granddaughter McKenzie got in on the birthday fun, too. She says in her clip that Jim Bob Duggar is a “fun grandpa.” McKenzie is the daughter of Josh Duggar and his wife Anna. Josh, of course, is the reason behind the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting. When word emerged of his sexual molestation scandal from several years back, TLC removed episodes of the show from the air. This past week they announced its cancellation. Anna Duggar is expecting the couple’s fourth child. As of last weekend, she was deemed overdue. This new baby will be a girl, giving little McKenzie Duggar a baby sister–her first. The couple already has two boys.

The Duggar family was recently scandalized yet again in the media, when an old report about Jim Bob Duggar’s brother-in-law having transmitted genital herpes to a woman during unprotected sex resurfaced in the media. The woman filed a lawsuit, but later dropped it.

In light of the Duggar family scandals, it’s good to see that Jim Bob Duggar was still celebrated on his big day.

Just imagine being in Jim Bob Duggar’s shoes. In addition to these family scandals, he is 50 years old, has 19 children, and his most lucrative source of income has just ended.

Hopefully this birthday celebration lifted his spirits.

  • Jill Dillard: Is Dillard Family Ministries A Scam? Duggar Daughter and Husband Asking for Funds for Fake Ministry?

Jill Dillard: Is Dillard Family Ministries A Scam? Duggar Daughter and Husband Asking for Funds for Fake Ministry?

Jill Dillard, nee Jill Duggar, is coming under fire in the wake of the cancellation of her family’s realty show, 19 Kids and Counting. Now some fans are wondering if the ministry Jill and husband Derick Dillard are requesting donations for on their blog is a scam.

It seems Facebook critics were the first to question the legitimacy of the Dillard Family Ministries. On their blog, Derick and Jill Dillard tell prospective donors that their ministry is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt organization. That means that all donations people make are tax deductible.

A Facebook poster claims Dillard Family Ministries is not listed on the official IRS site as a tax-exempt charity.

    RadarOnline researched the claim.

So are Derick and Jill Dillard scam artists?

    No.

An IRS spokesperson explained to RadarOnline that the IRS website is updated on the second Monday of each month. And while the Dillard Family Ministries didn’t appear there as it should have, it was an IRS oversight, and in no way reflects on Jill Duggar or her husband.

This no doubt restores some faith in the former 19 Kids and Counting stars. Jill Dillard and her husband are reportedly in El Salvador doing work as missionaries. It is expected they will return home in time to film the documentary on sexual abuse that TLC plans to air.

  • ’19 Kids and Counting’ Stars Jill Duggar, Derick Dillard Leave on Overseas Mission Trip

19 Kids and Counting stars Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard–along with their infant son Israel–left Arkansas on Sunday for a lengthy mission trip, during which the family is expected to spend at least a year overseas.

Derick Dillard recently shared on his and Jill’s blog how important serving on a missions trip is to the couple.

“Since we first began our relationship, it has always been our goal that Jesus Christ might be glorified as we serve others through family ministry, by whatever means that might be. We have a deep love and care for all of the world and a real passion for those in the nations, as many have even seen in the early stages of our relationship, and our hope is that all peoples of the world would come to repentance and put their hope in the Lord, Jesus Christ,” he writes.

“God has put a desire in our hearts to serve Him internationally for longer than the typical short-term mission trip, but we didn’t know yet how God would fulfill that desire in us. We were prepared for the possibility of it being years before our family would be able to make a move of that magnitude. It’s something we’ve prayed about together in an effort to seek God’s plan for our lives in His service. Earlier this year God brought about an opportunity much earlier than either of us was expecting. Several months ago a new opportunity arose for us to serve God on the mission field. Before us we had a choice to make that would undoubtedly change the trajectory of our lives forever.”

The 19 Kids and Counting family members got together on Saturday to celebrate not only Independence Day, but one of the last days Derick and Jill Dillard would spend with them in quite a long time.

Jill Duggar Dillard shared a photo of herself with her husband on the 4th of July.

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

The next day Jessa Duggar Seewald shared a photo of Jill Duggar Dillard and her little family as they were about to board a plane leaving Arkansas and the 19 Kids and Counting gang behind.

It’s uncertain when the whole 19 Kids and Counting family will be together again, but chances are it will be a while. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar must be incredibly proud of Derick and Jill but likely wish they could see Israel grow in the coming months.

Do you think TLC might send a camera crew to join Derick and Jill Dillard if they opt to air future episodes of 19 Kids and Counting?

  • Duggar Family Says Goodbye to Derick and Jill Dillard

The Duggar family said goodbye to Derick and Jill Dillard on Sunday, as the couple–along with their baby boy Israel–departed, heading overseas to do missions work for an undisclosed amount of time.

It wasn’t that long ago that Derick Dillard wrote on his and Jill Duggar Dillard’s blog about an opportunity for overseas missions that arose for the family.

Before us we had a choice to make that would undoubtedly change the trajectory of our lives forever,” he wrote.

This opportunity comes at a time when leaving Arkansas is likely a good thing for Jill Duggar. She was admittedly one of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims, and while the entire Duggar family went through a lot when the events were rehashed in the media, Jill seemed to take it even harder than the rest of the victims.

On the 4th of July, the Duggar family enjoyed some time together, knowing that the very next day they’d be saying goodbye to Derick and Jill.

Jill Dillard captioned this Instagram post, “Happy Independence Day! We are celebrating with family today. #4thofJuly #fireworks.”

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

Sister Jessa Duggar Seewald shared a bittersweet shot that no doubt makes all members of the Duggar family wonder when they’ll see the Dillard family again.

The photo shows Derick and Jill Dillard, along with baby Israel, as they are about to board the first leg of their flight overseas.

“So excited for @jillmdillard & @derickdillard! They’ve been praying about and working towards this transition since late last year, and are so excited to finally be heading to the mission field! Please continue to pray for them! And be sure to check out their blog at www.dillardfamily.com “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15,” Jessa Duggar captioned the post.

Who knows how long it might be before the Duggar family is reunited once again? It is likely that Derick and Jill Dillard will spend at least a year overseas. While no one has said where they are headed, many speculate they may be serving as missionaries in Nepal.

Will 19 Kids and Counting be the same without Jill and Derick–if in fact TLC puts the show back on the air? This has likely put a hold on any plans the network may have had to create a spinoff starring Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and their husbands.

  • Jill Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald Travel to Ohio for First Public Appearance Since Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation Scandal

Jill Dillard (nee Duggar) and Jessa Duggar Seewald, along with their husbands, headed off to Ohio this weekend for their first public appearance since the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal broke a few weeks ago. The two couples–along with Derick and Jill Dillard’s baby boy Israel–will appear at the ALIVE Christian music festival in Mineral City, Ohio.

This is the first public appearance for the 19 Kids and Counting sisters, who both admitted they were victims of their brother’s sexual molestations.

The ALIVE Christian Music Festival is a four-day event that features camping, music, seminars, workshops, children’s programs, and more, along with morning worship services every day. Skillet, Toby Mac and Lecrae are among this year’s featured musical acts.

Billed on the program at the festival, Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband are listed as ‘The Dillards,’ and Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband as ‘The Seewalds.’ The Duggar name doesn’t appear. Josh Duggar and his wife Anna Duggar were supposed to speak at the event as well, but backed out for obvious reasons.

Both Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Dillard returned to social media in the past week–for the first time since word of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestations made news.

Jessa Duggar shared photos of the entire gang en route to their Ohio destination this weekend.

“Headed to the ALIVE Christian music festival with @ben_seewald, @jillmdillard @derickdillard & #IsraelDavidDillard! Awesome travel buddies!” she captioned this photo of Derick and Jill Dillard, her and hubby Ben Seewald, and Israel David Dillard.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Jessa shared an adorable shot of Israel prior to Saturday’s event at the music festival.

“This kid is the cutest! Headed to the ALIVE festival this afternoon!” she wrote.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

No one can ever say Jill Dillard and hubby Derick don’t make cute babies.

Hopefully Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jill Dillard, and their respective husbands enjoy this time away. They have all been under a great deal of pressure ever since the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal first made news.

Do you expect the 19 Kids and Counting couples will receive a warm reception at the ALIVE Christian Music Festival?

  • Jill Dillard Posts New Baby Israel Photos On Her Own Blog

Jill Dillard has been relatively low-key on social media since her brother Josh’s molestation scandal came to light, but she did break her internet silence to post a few new shots of baby Israel on the Dillard Family blog recently.

Jill and her husband, Derick, started their own blog apart from the Duggars’ site and have used it to keep fans updated on how the baby is doing. They’ll also reportedly give information on how to help Nepal after a devastating earthquake, and revealed on the season finale of 19 Kids And Counting that they will be taking their first mission trip as a family to help those affected by the tragic event.

Jill and sister Jessa were two of the victims of Josh’s sexual abuse when he was a teenager, and both women sat down for an interview with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly recently to discuss their story and how it was being told after a police report from that time was shared on the web.

“We didn’t choose to come out and tell our story. But now that this story has been brought about, we really feel like—as we’ve been seeing these headlines—we feel like, as victims, we have to come out and speak. This is something that we chose to do. Nobody asked us to do this. Most of the stuff out there is lies. It’s not true. And so for truth’s sake we want to set the record straight,” Jill said.

While it’s not clear what the future holds for Jill Dillard and her growing family, TLC has dropped 19 Kids And Counting from their lineup but have not released a statement on whether they will lose the show altogether. There have, however, been rumors that Jill and Jessa will get their own spinoff show soon.

  • Jill Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Sisters Victims of Josh Duggar’s Sexual Molestation

Jill Dillard, nee Jill Duggar, and her sister Jessa Duggar Seewald are both victims of brother Josh’s Duggar’s sexual molestation. The 19 Kids and Counting sisters appeared on The Kelly File Wednesday night, as Megyn Kelly interviewed them along with parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar about the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal.

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard spoke just briefly during Wednesday night’s interview. They will speak at greater length during a special episode of The Kelly File on Friday night.

The sisters appeared long enough on Wednesday’s episode to identify themselves as two of the four sisters Josh Duggar sexually molested. Eldest sister Jana Duggar and younger sister Jinger Duggar are believed to be the other two siblings he molested.

“We are victims, they can’t do this to us,” Jill Dillard said, crying. She was speaking of the attention focused on her and the 19 Kids and Counting family that has been constant since word of Josh Duggar’s past hit the media nearly two weeks ago.

“The system that was set up to protect kids, both those who make stupid mistakes or have problems like this in their life and the ones that are affected by those choices. It’s greatly failed,” Jessa Duggar Seewald said.

Jill Duggar Dillard was far more distraught during her brief time on the air Wednesday night than sister Jessa. The young mom–married almost a year now–had difficulty speaking to the Fox cameras.

Jessa Duggar Seewald made it quite clear she doesn’t want her brother called a child molester.

“I’m like, that is so overboard and a lie really,” she said. “I mean, people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar answered Megyn Kelly’s questions and hopefully eased minds about the way they handled the Josh Duggar situation. They bot sought counsel from within their church and took Josh Duggar and the sisters he victimized to an accredited clinical therapist.

Will you be tuning in on Friday to hear the rest of Megyn Kelly’s interview with Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard? It will be interesting to learn what else the 19 Kids and Counting sisters have to say about their lives in the years since they were victimized.

  • Jessa Seewald: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Daughter One of Brother Josh Duggar’s Victims, Defends Him

Jessa Seewald, nee Jessa Duggar, admits she was one of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims, yet she is still defending her brother–asking people not to call him a child molester.

The 19 Kids and Counting daughter spoke out very briefly–along with sister Jill Duggar Dillard–during parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s interview on Wednesday night with The Kelly File’s Megyn Kelly. Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald’s portion of the interview will be expanded upon during a Fox special on Friday night.

“I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying,” Jessa Dillard told Megyn Kelly of brother Josh Duggar. “I’m like, ‘That is so overboard and a lie really.’ I mean people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

Wednesday night’s interview with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar did bring to light some facets of the scenario the public hadn’t known–like the fact that Josh Duggar and all of his sibling victims–purportedly Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar in addition to Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard–received licensed, accredited therapy in the wake of the sexual molestations. Until then, many believed the only counseling the entire family had received was from their church elders.

Michelle Duggar insists that both Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald–perhaps because they are the 19 Kids and Counting siblings most popular with fans at this time–have been more victimized by the media these past two weeks than they were by what Josh Duggar did to them all those years ago.

They “have been victimized more by what has happened in the last couple of weeks than they were 12 years ago because, honestly, they didn’t even understand and know that anything had happened until after the fact when they were told about it,” she said.

It seems Jessa Duggar Seewald agrees.

Fans can watch Megyn Kelly continue her interview with both Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald on Friday night, June 5th, during a special hour-long episode of The Kelly File. It airs on Fox at 9:00 p.m.

  • Jill Duggar Congratulates Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald on Pregnancy, Shares Photo of Israel David Dillard

Jill Duggar congratulated her sister Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald on their pregnancy recently, and shared a photo of her own brand new baby boy, Israel David Dillard, as well.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard welcomed their son on April 6th. Just a couple of weeks later, Jessa Duggar announced that she and Ben Seewald are expecting, too. Jessa and Ben have known of their pregnancy for a while, as she is now in her second trimester. Do you suppose the 19 Kids and Counting sibling didn’t want to spoil big sister Jill Duggar’s excitement by announcing her pregnancy before Jill and Derick’s baby was born?

It was via Instagram that Jill Duggar congratulated her sister and brother-in-law.

“Congrats to @jessaseewald @ben_seewald on your pregnancy!” she captioned the photo. “Babies are such a blessing!”

Derick Dillard posted a photo of his and Jill Duggar’s new baby on Instagram, along with a birthday wish for Jason Duggar, who recently turned 15.

“Happy 15th birthday to one of my favorite brothers-in-law, Jason Duggar!” Dillard captioned the snapshot. “The Lord has great plans for you bro! #unclejason #happybday.”

There’s certainly lots of excitement in the 19 Kids and Counting family. Jessa Duggar and Derick Dillard’s son is the fourth grandchild for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Son Josh Duggar and his wife Anna have three children and are expecting their fourth. By the time Jessa Duggar’s baby arrives, he or she will be the sixth grandchild for the 19 Kids and Counting patriarch and matriarch.

  • ’19 Kids and Counting’ Star Jill Duggar Had C-Section

19 Kids and Counting Star Jill Duggar had her and Derick Dillard’s baby, Israel David Dillard, via a C-section, answering at least part of the question fans have had about why she wound up having the baby in a hospital instead of at home as the midwife-in-training had planned.

Even though some hospitals advise against vaginal births after C-sections, Jill Duggar Dillard believes she and her husband will be blessed with many more children.

“The doctor told me he has no doubt I’ll be able to have a vaginal delivery the next time,” she said. “We told the doctor, ‘Stitch me up really well.”

The 19 Kids and Counting star endured about 70 hours of labor before the decision was made to deliver the baby via a C-section.

“She had labored for so long. There’s no shame in that, there’s no shame in not progressing, there’s no shame in getting a C-section,” Derick said.

“It was confirmation for us that God was leading us,” Jill said. “We were grateful for God showing us what to do in time.”

Israel David Dillard is the fourth grandchild for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Son Josh Duggar and his wife Anna have three, with a fourth on the way–meaning the 19 Kids and Counting patriarch and matriarch will have five grandchildren before the end of the year.

TLC is airing a very special episode of 19 Kids and Counting on May 5th, and it will feature the birth of Israel David Dillard. Jill Duggar Dillard’s labor and delivery will be highlighted during the show.

Are you surprised to learn the reason behind Jill Duggar giving birth in a hospital, instead of at home?

  • Jill Dillard: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Star Had Baby Israel via C-Section

Jill Dillard–nee Jill Duggar–endured about 70 hours of labor that ended with baby Israel David Dillard being born via an unplanned C-section. The 19 Kids and Counting star, who is studying to become a midwife, had planned on a home delivery, with mom Michelle Duggar and mother-in-law Cathy Dillard present to lend moral support.

Despite the C-section, Derick and Jill Dillard feel quite confident that the 19 Kids and Counting won’t have to limit the number of future children they have. Some hospitals do advise against vaginal births following C-sections, but Jill feels optimistic just the same.

“The doctor told me he has no doubt I’ll be able to have a vaginal delivery the next time,” she said. “We told the doctor, ‘Stitch me up really well.”

Derick and Jill Dillard say they feel blessed with the delivery of their baby boy, even though things didn’t go exactly as planned.

“She had labored for so long. There’s no shame in that, there’s no shame in not progressing, there’s no shame in getting a C-section,” Derick said.

“It was confirmation for us that God was leading us,” Jill said. “We were grateful for God showing us what to do in time.”

A special episode of 19 Kids and Counting will air on May 5th, and will feature the birth of Israel David Dillard. Jill Dillard’s labor and delivery will be highlighted during the show.

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ Why Didn’t Jill Duggar Deliver Israel David Dillard at Home As Planned?

19 Kids and Counting stars Jill Duggar Dillard and hubby Derick Dillard had long planned for a home birth to welcome their baby boy who was born on Monday. So why was Israel David Dillard born in a hospital instead of at home?

“Not everything went as expected,” Jill Duggar said in a video announcing Israel’s birth.

Jill added that she used the Bible to help prepare herself for the delivery.

“We were reminded of the verse that the Bible talks about where man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. We were encouraged by that,” she said.

The 19 Kids and Counting star is studying to become a midwife, so she obviously knew if an issue arose that couldn’t be tended to at home, that going to the hospital was best for her and their baby.

What's as precious as a sweet new baby!? Thank you so much for all of your prayers for Jill and baby Israel and for all…

The 19 Kids and Counting family has been instrumental in helping Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard settle in at home with their blessed bundle of joy. Between mom Michelle Duggar and dad Jim Bob Duggar, as well as several of the 19 Kids and Counting siblings who are willing to lend a hand–Jill and Derick’s transition into parenthood will no doubt be a smooth one.

  • Jill Dillard: Arrival of ‘Baby Dilly’ to Be Aired On Special ’19 Kids and Counting’ Episode

Jill Dillard still hasn’t given birth to Baby Dilly, but sources say the birth will be shared in a special episode of 19 Kids and Counting on TLC. It seems the entire ordeal (sounds like labor and birth) will be documented by the TLC cameras and aired on May 5th.

On Friday, Derick Dillard both blogged and tweeted some Scripture and some thoughts that led fans to believe Jill Dillard was in labor. Jill clarified later, saying she was having Braxton Hicks contractions, but as anyone who has had a baby knows, that can quickly turn into the real thing–especially when that baby is more than a week overdue.

Later on Friday, Derick tweeted the following.

“Out to lunch…maybe this spicy Mexican food will make the baby come! Only Braxton Hicks contractions with this weather so far. We shall see what the weekend brings! #nobabyyet #lunchwithmyhubby,” Jill Dillard captioned yesterday’s Instagram shot.

Even if fans aren’t kept abreast of how Jill Dillard and her labor are progressing, they know now they can tune in to 19 Kids and Counting on May 5th, and see whatever she and Derick Dillard allow the cameras to see. You can bet it will be tasteful and modestly filmed, however, given the strict Christian values the family adheres to.

Are you counting the hours until ‘Baby Dilly’ makes his entrance into the world?

  • Jill Dillard in Labor, ’19 Kids and Counting’ Gang Set to Welcome ‘Baby Dilly’

Jill Dillard, nee Jill Duggar, of 19 Kids and Counting fame has been in labor for several hours so far today. Hubby Derick Dillard not only posted a Bible verse via Twitter that alluded to the notion, but also confirmed Jill’s labor via the family blog.

“I can’t even describe right now the anticipation I am feeling, as I am about to get to meet my firstborn son for the first time face to face. So many people have already testified that nothing can quite describe that moment and that I’ll just have to experience it for myself,” Derick Dillard wrote in the blog post.

Earlier in the day, Derick shared the following Bible passage to indicate that labor had started.

‘Baby Dilly’ is how Derick and Jill Dillard have referred to their unborn son since learning Jill was pregnant. He will be the fourth grandchild of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Brother Josh Duggar already has three children, with a fourth on the way.

It will be interesting to learn as the day progresses whether or not Jill Dillard has given birth. Some first time moms can be in labor for a day or more before delivering their babies. Jill Dillard is training to be a midwife, so this won’t come as any surprise to her.

What do you suppose Derick and Jill Dillard will name their son? It will be nice hearing him called something other than ‘Baby Dilly.’

  • Jill Duggar: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Star Does Volunteer Work While Waiting for Baby’s Arrival

Jill Duggar is several days overdue for giving birth to her and Derick Dillard’s first baby. That didn’t keep the 19 Kids and Counting couple from doing some volunteer work to pass the time.

Jill and Derick spent some time this weekend volunteering at the Compassion Center in Springdale, Arkansas. The Compassion Center is a thrift shop run by a local church.

Jill Duggar shared a photo of the fun she and Derick, along with two of their friends, had while volunteering at the thrift shop.

“Volunteering at the Compassion Center this morning in Springdale, AR. @compassionnwa #compassioncenter http://crosschurch.com/compassion/,” the 23-year-old mom-to-be captioned the shot.

Jill Duggar has been the subject of Derick Dillard’s photography once a week since discovering they were expecting. Jill and Derick have affectionately dubbed their unborn son ‘Baby Dilly.’ This most recent Instagram photo Derick took of Jill might be the last before she gives birth.

“I wonder if #babydilly will decide to come on the one year anniversary of my engagement to @jillmdillard this weekend,” he captioned the picture.

Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband shared the one-year anniversary of their engagement on Sunday.

Derick Dillard captioned the following photo, “One year ago today, she said yes! Happy engagement anniversary to my beautiful bride @jillmdillard I love you Jill Michelle! #newlyweds.”

This photo is proof that Baby Dilly didn’t interrupt the couple’s anniversary plans.

The entire 19 Kids and Counting family is excitedly awaiting word that Jill Duggar is in labor. Jill is training to be a midwife, so her experience should be beneficial when she finally does go into labor.

How many more days do you expect it might be before Baby Dilly makes his grand entrance into Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s world?
