  • Elizabeth Berkley, Tiffani Thiessen: ‘Saved by the Bell’ Mini Reunion

Elizabeth Berkley and Tiffani Thiessen will forever be known for their roles as Jessie Spano and Kelly Kapowski on the hit TV show Saved by the Bell. The ladies enjoyed a mini reunion of sorts recently, when they appeared together on Tiffani Thiessen’s new cooking show, Dinner at Tiffani’s.

Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley were joined on the show by CSI: Miami star Emily Procter. Berkley actually appeared on several episodes of CSI: Miami alongside Proctor a few years ago. The three partook of a feast fit for royalty, including orzo salad with corn, arugula and cherry tomatoes, roasted asparagus and roasted chicken with orange glaze, as well as watermelon and champagne cocktails.

Elizabeth Berkley was thrilled to be back together with her Saved by the Bell costar, and this was actually the second time recently that they visited one another. The two met up several weeks ago, thanks to Jimmy Fallon. He arranged for a Saved by the Bell reunion on The Tonight Show that included Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar in addition to Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley. Fallon even joined the gang in performing a hilarious throwback skit.

Elizabeth Berkley shared her excitement over appearing on Tiffani Thiessen’s new cooking show–and about spending time with her dear friend–via an Instagram photo.

She captioned the shot, #Love this #woman @tiffanithiessen !! watch us this Wednesday on her new show on @cookingchannel
    #dinnerattiffanis 10pm ET 7pm PST.”

All this excitment over Elizabeth Berkley and Tiffani Thiessen reuniting–combined with the recent Saved by the Bell sketch on The Tonight Show, likely has fans wondering if a Saved by the Bell reunion show might one day be in the cards.

Do you suppose Tiffani Thiessen will one day host Mario Lopez or Mark-Paul Gosselaar on Dinner at Tiffani’s?

  • Tiffani Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley Cook Up ‘Saved by the Bell’ Reunion

Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley recently cooked up a mini Saved by the Bell reunion. Berkley appeared as a guest on Tiffani Thiessen’s new cooking show, Dinner at Tiffani’s. Her show appears on the Cooking Channel.

It wasn’t so long ago that Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley met on the set of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, alongside former Saved by the Bell costars Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar for a hilarious sketch.

Actress Emily Procter joined the Saved by the Bell ladies on the March 4th episode of Dinner at Tiffani’s, and the three cooked up grilled ciabatta with ricotta and snap peas, roasted chicken with an orange glaze, watermelon-champagne cocktails, orzo salad with corn, arugula, and cherry tomatoes, and roasted asparagus with an orange glaze.

Both Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley shared Instagram photos of their time together.

Elizabeth Berkley captioned the following shot–found on her Instagram account, #Love this #woman @tiffanithiessen !! watch us this Wednesday on her new show on @cookingchannel #dinnerattiffanis 10pm ET 7pm PST”

Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley played the Saved by the Bell roles of Kelly Kapowski and Jessie Spano, respectively.

Do you expect Saved by the Bell fans tuned in to Dinner at Tiffani’s last week to see theseladies together once again?

  • ‘Saved by the Bell’ Cast Visits With Jimmy Fallon on ‘Tonight Show’

Saved by the Bell was among the most popular TV shows of the very late 1980s and the early 1990s. The show’s cast–minus Dustin Diamond, who played the role of Screech–recreated a hilarious sketch during a reunion of sorts on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.

Characters Kelly Kapowski (played by Tiffani Thiessen), A.C. Slater (played by Mario Lopez) and Jessie Spano (played by Elizabeth Berkley) set the scene with talk of an upcoming Valentine’s Day dance. The gang is bummed, however, when their new friend Jimmy (played, of course, by Jimmy Fallon) won’t be attending the dance, because he is planning to head to New York City to try out for a role on Saturday Night Live. Jimmy adds that he might even work toward hosting his own talk show and that he wants to go on a date with Nicole Kidman. Kidman recently floored Jimmy Fallon (in real life–not the Saved by the Bell sketch) when she told him a get-together the two had at his apartment many years earlier was actually a date. He apparently didn’t dress appropriately and played video games part of the time she was visiting, thinking she was just a pal stopping by.

Jimmy Fallon fit in with the cast of Saved by the Bell perfectly, and it’s actually quite amazing how many of the cast members haven’t aged much since the show’s last episode in 1993. Mario Lopez still most resembles his younger self, but Tiffani Thiessen, A.C. Slater, and Elizabeth Berkley are looking rather ageless as well.

If you missed The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night, you missed a great show. The Saved by the Bell cast reunion was no doubt a huge treat for those who followed the show more than two decades ago.

  • Elizabeth Berkley Is So Excited! For Her Baby Boy

Elizabeth Berkley, perhaps best known for her role as Jessie Spano on the beloved teen TV series “Saved By The Bell” (unless you’re a “Showgirls” fan), has just become a mama.

Berkley, 40, has been married to husband Greg Lauren since 2003, but this is their first child together. Berkley announced the birth via Twitter and thanked friends and fans for being supportive.

“In life there are moments you cherish forever, and this is one of them,” she said.

The actress may have stepped out of the spotlight a bit since “Showgirls” debuted to harsh reviews, but she has been busy working on other interests; her book, “Ask Elizabeth”, was released last year and is meant to be a self-help tome for teen girls. It began as an expansion of her website, where Berkley received many questions from young girls regarding advice.

“I think this was, honestly, the perfect time to write this book, because as we all know, in the media, for years now, people have been talking about the issues with our teen girls, but no one has really been talking about how to help our girls,” she told MTV last year. “I think now more than ever, there’s a great need. The ability to know that they’re not alone, and other girls are going through it too and how they can help each other.”

Looks like now she can put her helpful skills to use as a mother. Just stay away from those caffeine pills when the baby’s up all night, lady!
