  • Jessa Seewald, Jill Dillard Open Up About Josh Duggar’s Betrayal

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard opened up about the scandals that have rocked their family this year during the first part of a three-part special over the weekend, and they say that their brother Josh’s betrayal after he cheated on his wife Anna was extremely hard to live with.

Both girls were involved in the first scandal that garnered national attention back in May, when a police report was leaked to the world showing Josh’s involvement in the sexual molestation of Jessa, Jill, and other girls when he was 14 years old. Although they sat down for an interview with Megyn Kelly and said they had forgiven Josh, the damage was swiftly done to the Duggar family’s name, and their reality show, 19 Kids And Counting, was canceled from TLC’s lineup. The new show–Counting On–will give fans some closure and allow Jessa and Jill to talk about their side of what happened.

“Over the years, Josh worked really hard to repair our trust in him, and he became someone we could really look up to. Josh ended up confessing to us that he had gotten addicted to pornography and had been unfaithful to his wife, and we were devastated. It felt like it was just a bad dream. How could this happen?” Jessa said on the series.

Jessa and Jill both had a big year in 2015 outside of the scandals, as they are each newlyweds and both had their first children in recent months, and the show will reportedly feature much of their new lives as well as give them a chance to talk about what happened with Josh. For both sisters, the fact that such big life changes came at the same time as a huge betrayal was overwhelming.

“Here I am, most joyful time of my life, newly married [with a] baby on the way. And then people go digging up old bones. It was really, really frustrating,” Jessa Seewald said.

Jessa and Jill have been active on social media throughout the ordeal, keeping fans updated on their lives as they adjust to parenthood and as Jill and her husband Derick complete their missionary duties in Central America. For as many fans as the family reportedly pushed away with Josh’s scandal, the sisters appear to have retained most of theirs throughout the ordeal; Jessa’s Instagram posts of new baby Spurgeon have garnered thousands of “likes”.

  • Jessa Seewald’s Father-In-Law Goes Off On Josh Duggar, Calls Him A Hypocrite

Jessa Seewald’s father-in-law posted a blog slamming Josh Duggar.

Michael Seewald said in his blog that the 27-year-old’s secret extramarital sex life is an example of taking the lord’s name in vain.

Michael Seewald is the father of Ben Seewald, who married Josh’s younger sister Jessa Seewald last November.

Jessa’s brother admitted that he cheated on his wife, Anna Duggar, using the Ashley Madison website. Anna’s brother Daniel Keller then posted on Facebook last week that he “won’t stop trying to get that pig out of our family.”

And now, Jessa’s father-in-law expressed his disdain for Josh Duggar, calling him a pretender and hypocrite.

Michael said that while Christians commit sin, Josh’s actions were so much worse because he pretended to be of upstanding moral fiber.

“While proudly saying things like, ‘our family is like the epitome of conservative values,’ he was looking at porn and soliciting affairs. He took a job at the Family Research Council that exists to promote the traditional family, all the while undermining his own family by violating his marriage covenant,” Michael Seewald said in his blog post.

“He flourished in the fame of his family and the success of their television show, all the while betraying their trust and Christian values,” Michael added.

Jessa Seewald’s father-in-law said he felt deceived. He said he stood by Josh last May, but after Josh admitted he molested five girls, including his sisters, his second scandal shows that Duggar still had an extensive lifestyle of evil.

“Sadly, he had deceived us all,” Michael writes. “The name of God has been blasphemed and God is jealous for his name.”

Jessa Seewald’s father-in-law said that what’s hurtful in Josh Duggar’s admission is he was a loud voice endorsing Christian ethics and he has been shown to be a fraud.

Josh Duggar had checked into Reformers Unanimous in Rockford, a rehab facility in Illinois offering a treatment based solely on the Bible according to People.

Meanwhile, Jessa Seewald and her husband Ben didn’t comment on the issue and instead shared details about their first months of marriage, and their preparation for the new member of Duggar-Seewald family.

  • Jessa Seewald Slams Brother Josh Duggar for Cheating on Wife, Shares Sermon on Adultery

Jessa Seewald (nee Duggar) hasn’t directly slammed brother Josh Duggar for his latest scandal, but she certain bashed him indirectly. The former 19 Kids and Counting star posted a link to a sermon about adultery on her Instagramaccount. It was recently discovered that Josh Duggar had two Ashley Madison accounts. He admitted to having an addiction to pornography and to cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar.

Shortly after Jessa Duggar Seewald shared the link, husband Ben Seewald shared it on his social media pages, too.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Even though Jessa Seewald didn’t directly slam Josh Duggar, her father-in-law definitely didn’t mince any words. Michael Seewald wrote any essay on his blog that directly addresses Josh Duggar’s Ashley Madison scandal and his sexual sins.

“In commenting on this I do not wish to add any more distress to a family still recovering from the indignity of the publication of a police report detailing Josh’s sins as a teenager,” the Seewald family patriarch wrote in his post. “Though I have never gotten to know Josh very well, I have great respect for his sorrowing parents and immense sympathy for his dear wife, Anna, and their four children. I myself have been mourning over the irreparable damage that has been done to many by this whole circumstance, yet the reason I feel obliged to make these remarks is an overwhelming desire to vindicate the name of God.”

“It is not shocking that men and women lie, cheat, steal, hate, fornicate, and commit any and all other sins. It happens every second of every minute of every hour of every day. It doesn’t surprise me that thirty nine million people are members of the Ashley Madison adultery website, nor do I think it surprises you,” he wrote. “What is troubling is that many who take the name of Christ are among its members. It doesn’t trouble me because I think Christians aren’t capable of doing the worst of things, but that we profess that we are no longer the slaves of sin, but servants to God. By professing that we love God with our mouth, yet secretly serving sin, we are found to be hypocrites,” he added.

Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband Ben are expecting their first baby on November 1–the date of their first wedding anniversary. She appeared alongside sister Jill Duggar Dillard and mom Michelle Duggar on Sunday’s TLC special about sexual abuse.

Do you think Jessa Seewald was indirectly slamming her brother by posting the link to a sermon on adultery? She is close to sister-in-law Anna Duggar, and no doubt feels bad for what she’s going through.

  • Jessa Duggar Shares New Pregnancy Progression Photo, ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation Not Keeping Her from Limelight

Jessa Duggar has shared yet another pregnancy progression photo with her followers, and by the number of comments she’s received, it’s clear that the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting isn’t keeping Jessa Duggar from the limelight.

The mom-to-be and her husband Ben Seewald are expecting their first child on November 1st, which is also their first wedding anniversary. If they know the gender of their child, they haven’t yet shared that news with their followers.

In a picture posted on Friday, Jessa Duggar Seewald shared her growing belly. She is now 25 weeks along.

“#BabySeewald at 25 weeks 4 days! Just a little over 14 weeks to go! Counting down the days with @ben_seewald!” she captioned the photo.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Shortly after sharing that Instagram post, Jessa Duggar donned an adorable apron embroidered with ‘Mrs. Seewald’ across the front, and shared a delicious recipe with her followers.

“Amy Cornett’s Super Easy Pretzel Cheesecake! This certainly isn’t a healthy dessert, but I love it so much that I have to make it at least once a year or so! So yummy and easy to throw together!
    Makes one 9×13 pan!
    _Layer 1:
•1 stick butter melted, with 2 T. sugar, poured over
    •2 cups broken pretzels
Bake at 350 for 2-5 min! (be careful not to let it burn!) _Layer 2:
    •16 oz. cream cheese
    •8 oz. sour cream
    •1 cup sugar
_Layer 3: 2 containers strawberries or blueberries

Maybe Jessa Duggar Seewald will one day make a return to network TV with her own cooking show?

It’s good to see that despite the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting, Jessa Duggar is carrying on with her life, and that her social media followers still support her efforts. Jessa was one of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims. His actions are the reason behind TLC canceling the Duggar family’s reality show.

Do you think there’s any chance at all that Jessa–and maybe sister Jill Duggar Dillard, too–might find their way back to appearing on TV?

  • Jill Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Sisters Victims of Josh Duggar’s Sexual Molestation

Jill Dillard, nee Jill Duggar, and her sister Jessa Duggar Seewald are both victims of brother Josh’s Duggar’s sexual molestation. The 19 Kids and Counting sisters appeared on The Kelly File Wednesday night, as Megyn Kelly interviewed them along with parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar about the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal.

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard spoke just briefly during Wednesday night’s interview. They will speak at greater length during a special episode of The Kelly File on Friday night.

The sisters appeared long enough on Wednesday’s episode to identify themselves as two of the four sisters Josh Duggar sexually molested. Eldest sister Jana Duggar and younger sister Jinger Duggar are believed to be the other two siblings he molested.

“We are victims, they can’t do this to us,” Jill Dillard said, crying. She was speaking of the attention focused on her and the 19 Kids and Counting family that has been constant since word of Josh Duggar’s past hit the media nearly two weeks ago.

“The system that was set up to protect kids, both those who make stupid mistakes or have problems like this in their life and the ones that are affected by those choices. It’s greatly failed,” Jessa Duggar Seewald said.

Jill Duggar Dillard was far more distraught during her brief time on the air Wednesday night than sister Jessa. The young mom–married almost a year now–had difficulty speaking to the Fox cameras.

Jessa Duggar Seewald made it quite clear she doesn’t want her brother called a child molester.

“I’m like, that is so overboard and a lie really,” she said. “I mean, people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar answered Megyn Kelly’s questions and hopefully eased minds about the way they handled the Josh Duggar situation. They bot sought counsel from within their church and took Josh Duggar and the sisters he victimized to an accredited clinical therapist.

Will you be tuning in on Friday to hear the rest of Megyn Kelly’s interview with Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard? It will be interesting to learn what else the 19 Kids and Counting sisters have to say about their lives in the years since they were victimized.

  • Jessa Seewald: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Daughter One of Brother Josh Duggar’s Victims, Defends Him

Jessa Seewald, nee Jessa Duggar, admits she was one of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims, yet she is still defending her brother–asking people not to call him a child molester.

The 19 Kids and Counting daughter spoke out very briefly–along with sister Jill Duggar Dillard–during parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s interview on Wednesday night with The Kelly File’s Megyn Kelly. Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald’s portion of the interview will be expanded upon during a Fox special on Friday night.

“I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying,” Jessa Dillard told Megyn Kelly of brother Josh Duggar. “I’m like, ‘That is so overboard and a lie really.’ I mean people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

Wednesday night’s interview with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar did bring to light some facets of the scenario the public hadn’t known–like the fact that Josh Duggar and all of his sibling victims–purportedly Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar in addition to Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard–received licensed, accredited therapy in the wake of the sexual molestations. Until then, many believed the only counseling the entire family had received was from their church elders.

Michelle Duggar insists that both Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald–perhaps because they are the 19 Kids and Counting siblings most popular with fans at this time–have been more victimized by the media these past two weeks than they were by what Josh Duggar did to them all those years ago.

They “have been victimized more by what has happened in the last couple of weeks than they were 12 years ago because, honestly, they didn’t even understand and know that anything had happened until after the fact when they were told about it,” she said.

It seems Jessa Duggar Seewald agrees.

Fans can watch Megyn Kelly continue her interview with both Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald on Friday night, June 5th, during a special hour-long episode of The Kelly File. It airs on Fox at 9:00 p.m.

  • Jessa Seewald Talks Wedding Vows on ’19 Kids and Counting’

Jessa Seewald talked on Tuesday night’s episode of 19 Kids and Counting about her and Ben Seewald’s wedding vows during their November wedding.

More than five months after Ben and Jessa Seewald became husband and wife, they shared their very special day with their 19 Kids and Counting fans.

“Jessa, you are the love of my life. You’re my best friend and I’ve learned so much through your love for me,” Ben shared. “Jessa, this day I take you to be my loyal wife.”

“One thing that we really wanted was unique vows,” Jessa Seewald said. “We wanted something a little more personalized.”

“I was kind of afraid that I might be nervous reading the vows and get all my words jumbled up,” she added.

Ben and Jessa Seewald did well, however, and didn’t jumble their wedding vows–even when saying them in front of 1000 guests.

One thing they didn’t do in front of those guests, however, was to partake of their first kiss as husband and wife.

“I didn’t know until a couple of days before,” Jim Bob Duggar said on Tuesday’s episode. “They said we really wanted it to be an intimate kiss and we don’t really want to do it in front of everybody. That really highlighted how important it was that they waited.”

Ben and Jessa Seewald did break convention by sharing their first kiss in private. Now fans are eagerly watching and waiting for word that the 19 Kids and Counting couple is expecting their first baby.

Jessa Duggar Seewald shared some exciting news with her fans recently. Many hoped it might be baby news, but it was word of brother Josiah Duggar’s courtship.

Maybe that baby news will come before too much longer for Ben and Jessa Seewald?

  • Jessa Duggar Participates in March for Life Rally

Jessa Duggar, nee Jessa Seewald, is the most recent of the 19 Kids and Counting clan to tie the knot. As a new wife, Jessa took to the streets in Little Rock, Arkansas on Sunday to join the March for Life. Her family has long been active in pro-life demonstrations.

A large crowd gathered at the state capitol as part of the peaceful protest.

Jessa shared word of her intentions via Instagram.

“Headed to Little Rock right now for the annual March for Life! Join us at our state Capitol at 2pm, and together let us take a stand for the life of the unborn,” she captioned the following post.

Jessa also shared a film clip she and her siblings created to promote the March for Life. She posted this on Instagram as well, captioning it, “Watch this short clip my siblings put together to commemorate the 2015 Arkansas March for Life! Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were present at the rally, too, in addition to several of the other Duggar siblings.

Jessa Duggar first went public on her pro-life stance a little over a year ago, following a trip to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.

Contemplating on the “millions of innocents” who were “denied the most basic and fundamental of all rights—their right to life,” Jessa wrote at that time, “May we never sit idly by and allow such an atrocity to happen again. Not this generation.

“We must be a voice for those who cannot speak up for themselves. Because EVERY LIFE IS PRECIOUS,” she wrote in conclusion.

Jill Duggar, Jessa’s older sister, is pregnant with her first child, and hopes for a large family. Jessa Duggar has said that she and hubby Ben Seewald want a large family, too.

  • Jessa Seewald: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Star Pregnant?

Jessa Seewald, nee Jessa Duggar, got married on November 1st, and made it quite clear she planned to start her family right away. Rumor has it she might be expecting already, but so far nothing has been confirmed. Might there soon be a new little grandchild en route to the 19 Kids and Counting family?

Jessa’s sister Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband–married since June–announced their pregnancy within weeks of their marriage. Will Jessa and hubby Ben Seewald follow in their footsteps?

A source told In Touch Weekly that Ben and Jessa believe that sexual relations between a man and woman are one of the greatest gifts God gives married couples.

“They look at sex as a ‘present’ from God and they couldn’t wait to ‘open it’ on their wedding day. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jessa were pregnant already,” the source said.

It wasn’t so long ago that Jessa Seewald–then, of course, she was Jessa Duggar–told People magazine of her and Ben’s plans to have a big family.

“We both want to have a big family,” Jessa said. “We are talking about our goals and the future with family. We have both talked about adoption and want to adopt, too.”

Jessa Seewald and her husband spent their first Christmas together as husband and wife. Jessa shared photos of the Duggar celebration on Christmas Eve.

She captioned her photo, “It’s a very Merry Christmas Christmas Eve at the Duggar household! The gangs all here! @duggarfam @joshduggar @annaduggar @derickdillard @jillmdillard @ben_seewald @amyduggar.”

Do you expect a big announcement from the second of the married 19 Kids and Counting daughters is imminent? Might it involve word of a baby for Jessa Seewald?

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald to Start Family in 2015 if Not Pregnant Already

Jesse Duggar Seewald may or may not be pregnant yet, but one thing is certain — the 19 Kids and Counting star is more than ready to start a family in 2015.

Married since early November, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald believe that sex is a gift from God to procreate, so it is likely Jessa will be pregnant within the next few months, if they aren’t already expecting a little bundle of joy.

Jessa’s sister, Jill Duggar Dillard, became pregnant within weeks of her wedding to Derrick Dillard, leading to assumptions that Jessa would do the same.

According to Inquisitr, a Duggar family source claims Jessa was planning to start trying for a baby as soon as she was married.

“They look at sex as a ‘present’ from God and they couldn’t wait to ‘open it’ on their wedding day. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jessa were pregnant already,” the insider told In Touch Weekly.

In talking about her marriage last month, Jessa said she and Ben are “thrilled to see what the future holds,” which could very well indicate her excitement to begin a family.

In fact, Jessa has said they want a big family.

“We both want to have a big family,” Jessa told People in April. “We are talking about our goals and the future with family. We have both talked about adoption and want to adopt, too.”

Meanwhile, the family posted quite a few loving photos to social media over Christmas.

  • Jessa Seewald, Jill Dillard on ’19 Kids and Counting Christmas’ Card

Jessa Seewald (nee Jessa Duggar) and Jill Dillard (nee Jill Duggar) are just two of the 19 Kids and Counting siblings–and all 19 of them appear on the 2014 Duggar family Christmas card. Dad and Mom, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, are on the card, too.

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard’s husbands, Ben Seewald and Derick Dillard, appear on the Christmas card for the first time ever. Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard in June, and Jessa Duggar followed suit, marrying Ben Seewald on November 1st.

Jill Dillard is happy to show off her baby bump in the Christmas card. Jessa Seewald isn’t expecting yet, but she and Ben managed to cozy up close to one another for the photo shoot.

The words, “Happy Birthday Jesus” and “Merry Christmas from the Duggar Family” are inscribed on the Christmas card, as is this Bible passage from Isaiah 9:6.

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a child is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulders: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

The Duggar family has yet to post their 2014 card to social media, but you can check it out at E! Online.

Michelle Duggar explained on her TLC blog that their family doesn’t do Christmas like many families do.

“I think we do it a bit different in our family,” she wrote, adding that she and her husband typically explain “to the children who Santa Claus was historically” while concentrating “on his good deeds and ministering to children.”

“It’s a huge celebration…we make it a really big deal. We decorate. It’s a big birthday party for Jesus. We make banners and put them all around the house and put out our nativity scene,” Michelle Duggar added.

In more Duggar news, Jessa Seewald recently shared more photos of her recent wedding with fans. Even with her modest wedding attire, she was a gorgeous bride.

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard will have a very exciting Christmas, celebrating their first as married women. Despite the change in their lives, it certainly seems as though they love getting together with their entire 19 Kids and Counting family to celebrate the traditions they loved while growing up.

  • Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard: Instagram Indicates a Sisterly Feud May Be Over in Latest Duggar Drama

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard seem to have been feuding, although family and friends say the latest Duggar drama is nothing to worry about and Instagram posts indicate the rift may be over.

One would think that now that the sisters are both married, they would have much in common and be closer than ever, however recent rumors on Facebook indicated that the reality stars are — or were — involved in a rather serious feud.

And yes, the sisters seem to have shut down the rumors by posting photos of double dates with their husbands, but social media never lies. OK, that’s a lie, but you can learn much about relationships on Twitter, especially when people follow and unfollow people. Who hasn’t become angry at someone and the first think you think is “unfollow, unfriend” or even the dreaded “block?”

The first indication that there was an issue between the 19 Kids and Counting stars came when Jill unfollowed her sister on Twitter, although she continued to follow Anna and Derick Dillard, as well as other Bates family members. It was also telling that Derick Dillard was no where to be seen on Ben Seewald’s follow list. However, Derick is still following his brother-in-law.

Is everyone following the follows and unfollows?

A source told Star that the tension between Jill and Jessa is pretty common. According to the source, Jessa apparently resents Jill’s status as the Duggar family’s “favorite child.”

“Jessa resents that Jill is her parents’ favorite, and she’s pulling away from the family. And Jill doesn’t approve of the choices Jessa is making,” said the source.

It's great living life with your best friend! @ben_seewald

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Reports also claim that Jill has remained her sweet self ever since she became Mrs. Dillard, while Jessa seems to be taking a new, independent route from toeing the family line of behavior, as indicated when Jessa shared a kissing picture on Instagram in, some would say, a rather low-cut shirt.

If you remember correctly, these girls apparently didn’t even kiss their husbands until the I do’s were said.

Duggar supporters say it’s no big deal that there are these telling follows and unfollows. Their assumptions are likely correct if recent Instagram posts are to be believed. The girls are probably already over whatever was bothering them.

    Ah, sisters.

  • Jessa Seewald Shares Gorgeous Wedding Pics

Jessa Seewald has been pretty active on Instagram lately, and, much to the delight of her fans, she’s posted several gorgeous photos from her recent wedding to Ben Seewald.

The Duggar daughter married on November 1 and has shared several pics of married life, but has also been spending time with her family. Recently she and Ben had dinner with sister Jill and her husband, Derrick, which prompted some confusion after it was revealed that some of the foursome had un-followed others on social media. Rumors that a feud was brewing between the sisters began to spread online, but they have not commented.

The Duggar clan recently got everyone together for a Christmas recital, where several of the kids performed songs together, and the family shared photos of the event on their blog.

The Duggar family has been in headlines quite a bit in recent weeks, as Anna Duggar announced another pregnancy and rumors were flying around the web that Jana Duggar was being set up with footballer Tim Tebow. While there have been conflicting stories about Jana and Tim, gossip sites are saying that Jill and Jessa are growing apart now that they’re married.

“Jessa is able to live for herself now, without the crazy rules — and she is learning who she wants to be — but Jill stayed pretty much the same when she left home,” a source told Starcasm.

  • Jessa Seewald, Jill Dillard All Smiles At Dinner Despite Feud Rumors

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard are two of several daughters in the Duggar clan, but they have always appeared to be close. Until, that is, an apparent de-friending spree on Twitter that involves their new respective husbands.

When news spread earlier this week that Jill was no longer following Jessa or her husband Ben on the social media site, rumors immediately began to circulate that something was going on with them. Jessa was reportedly following her sister, but not her husband Derrick. However, the foursome recently posed for photos while at dinner and Jill posted them to her Instagram account, which has thrown the media into confusion.

The family got together earlier this month for a Christmas recital at the Duggar home, where Jedidiah, Joy-Anna, and Jeremiah performed “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.” Photos from the evening were posted on the family’s blog.

While it’s unclear why the sisters and their husbands became involved in rumors of a Twitter feud or why any of them stopped following each other, but everything seems to be well in the Duggar house.

  • Jessa Duggar Shares Photo of First Post-Wedding Kiss

Jessa Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame married Ben Seewald in a wedding in Arkansas last Saturday. As is Duggar family tradition, Jessa and Ben had never kissed prior to their wedding day. But unlike other Duggar family weddings, they didn’t do so as the pastor pronounced them husband and wife either. Instead they waited for a more private moment out of view of their 1000 or more wedding guests.

CNN reports that the newlyweds stepped into a quiet room in the church to share their first kiss last weekend. Jessa Duggar–now officially Jessa Seewald–posted a photo of that first kiss (clearly that quiet room wasn’t completely private) to her Instagram account within the past few days, for all her friends, family members, and fans to see.

Despite all the modesty practiced by the 19 Kids and Counting family, this kiss shared by Jessa Duggar and her new husband shows evidence of a rather passionate union.

Prior to marrying Ben Seewald, Jessa Duggar and her fiance were allowed side hugs. Their chests couldn’t touch when the two embraced. Prior to becoming engaged, the two couldn’t even hold hands. These are per the Duggar rules of courtship as defined by the family’s patriarch, Jim Bob Duggar. However all of the Duggar clan appears to agree with the rules, believing them to be what’s right, given their devout Christian beliefs.

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald had a rather short engagement. Ben popped the question in August, and the two tied the knot just one short week ago.

  • Jill Dillard Offers Jessa Duggar Marriage Tips

Jill Dillard (formerly Jill Duggar) offered her sister Jessa Duggar (now Jessa Seewald) some helpful tips for a successful marriage recently. Now bear in mind, Jill Dillard has only been married since June, and Jessa Duggar tied the knot on Saturday. Still Jill felt she could impart some wisdom upon Jessa, so that’s exactly what she did.

“Jessa and I shared a lot with us being in relationships and us getting married, and now they are following along,” Jill explains. “We have great examples in our parents that love doesn’t have to end. Spend lots of time together and remember, the honeymoon doesn’t have to end.”

Jill Dillard is now expecting her first child with hubby Derick Dillard, leaving many to wonder how long it might be before Jessa Duggar and her new husband announce that an addition may grace their family as well. This will no doubt provide even more fodder for sharing between the sisters.

Jill admits she enjoyed “walking through relationships” with Jessa before they both got married. That will likely just expand as each of the Duggar girls’ families grow.

Growing up in the 19 Kids and Counting household certainly provided both Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald with strong examples of what a marriage and parenthood is all about. Parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have been married for 30 years now, and always note their strong Christian beliefs as what has held their family together.

Jessa Duggar Seewald admitted right before her wedding that she and Ben hope to have a ‘huge family.’ Their children and those born to Jill and Derick Dillard will be cousins.

“We’re looking forward to seeing more cousins,” Jill Dillard’s husband recently admitted.

Jessa Duggar was probably grateful to her sister Jill Dillard for sharing tips on marriage. Now that she’s a married woman, too, she will likely start putting that advice into action.

  • Jill Duggar Prepares for Baby, Sister Jessa Duggar Marries Ben Seewald

Jill Duggar–now better known by her married name, Jill Dillard–is preparing for her first baby. In fact, she and hubby Derick Dillard went shopping recently to see exactly what they might need for their new little bundle of joy. Just a few days later–on Saturday, November 1st–Jill and Derick attended the wedding of her sister, Jessa Duggar. It seems there’s no end to the excitement in the 19 Kids and Counting family.

Less than a week before Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s wedding, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard were in New York scouting out ideas for their nursery. They spoke to E! News about how they are preparing for childbirth, too.

“We’re taking Bradley [Method] birth classes right now,” Derick Dillard said.

“Yeah, [it’s] husband-coached childbirth,” Jill added, “so that he can know how to help me in labor and in pregnancy—and that’s what I want the most, is [for] him to be able to know what to do when that comes.”

On Saturday, Jill Duggar knew exactly what to do to help sister Jessa Duggar get through her big day. It was only a few months ago, after all, that Jill Duggar became Jill Dillard.

Jessa Duggar walked down the aisle–escorted by her father, Jim Bob Duggar–and met her groom in front of more than 1,000 wedding guests, at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Jill Duggar wasn’t the matron of honor for her sister, however. That honor went instead (at least that of maid-of-honor) to 20-year-old Jinger Duggar.

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald didn’t kiss at their wedding, as most newlywed couples do. Instead they opted for that first time kiss to take place during a private moment following the nuptials.

“They wanted their very first kiss ever to be in private,” Pastor Mike Schadt said in an interview with People.com. “It was important to the both of them.”

Another couple took the place of the bride and groom for just a moment–sharing their own chaste kiss for the wedding fun. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, who have now been married for 30 years, kissed in front of the wedding guests instead.

Jessa Duggar and her new husband were spotted kissing at the reception afterward, however. And Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard–along with the rest of the 19 Kids and Counting family–were there to cheer them on.
