  • Josh Duggar, Anna Duggar Dine Out With New Baby Meredith in Tow

Josh Duggar and wife Anna Duggar were spotted out to eat recently with new baby Meredith Grace Duggar in tow.

It is thought that perhaps Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar dined with Josh and Anna, as a photo is posted to their family Facebook page–and someone had to take the picture.

Picture of our sweetest new granddaughter Meredith Grace with her mommy and daddy.

Posted by Duggar Family Official on Wednesday, July 29, 2015

The photo shows a beaming Josh Duggar beside his wife Anna. Josh is holding baby Meredith Grace, who appears to be yawning. Perhaps she is already bored with all the media attention her large family receives?

Josh Duggar is the reason behind TLC’s recent cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting. He admittedly sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Four of those girls are his own sisters. Two of his sisters, Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, spoke out about the molestations in a recent TV interview. They will also be featured in a TLC documentary special the network plans to air about child sexual abuse.

Despite being the reason for his family’s financial demise, Josh Duggar certainly looks happy while out to eat with his family. Maybe he has some big lucrative idea in mind for supporting his own family of four children, as well as his dad and mom’s with 19–16 of whom still live at home?

  • Josh Duggar Civil Suit: What This Means for Him and ’19 Kids and Counting’ Family

Josh Duggar may soon be sued in a civil case stemming from his sexual molestations from several years ago. The person who may sue the eldest of the 19 Duggar siblings is the fifth of his five underage victims–four of whom are his sisters. Victim number five was a babysitter at the 19 Kids and Counting household at the time the molestations took place.

The babysitter reportedly stayed quiet for all these years, and her sexual molestation took place in the same way sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald’s did–meaning they were asleep at the time. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar told the babysitter and her family at the time they learned about the molestations.

Fox News reports that the statute of limitations has passed, so Josh Duggar cannot be prosecuted for his crimes. They do believe there’s a chance that the babysitter could be awarded some money if she does in fact choose to sue Josh Duggar.

Right now, allegations say only Josh Duggar will be named if there is a civil suit. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar–and the way they handled the situation, reportedly won’t be named in the potential lawsuit.

Josh Duggar is, of course, the reason behind TLC’s cancellation of the Duggar family’s reality show, 19 Kids and Counting. He is also a new father for the fourth time. Josh and Anna Duggar welcomed daughter Meredith Grace Duggar into their world a week ago.

No one would willingly walk in Josh Duggar’s shoes right now. The young man who once had such a bright future is now unemployed–and possibly even unemployable. He has four children to care for. The most lucrative means of income his family had is gone.

Do you expect this former babysitter will actually open herself up to the scandal that will ensue if she does in fact sue Josh Duggar for the crime he committed when he was a teen?

And if so, do you think she will win?

How will Josh Duggar pay if ordered by a court to forward such damages to his as-yet unnamed victim?

Will that fall on parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar if Josh has no income?

  • Jessa Duggar Shares New Pregnancy Progression Photo, ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation Not Keeping Her from Limelight

Jessa Duggar has shared yet another pregnancy progression photo with her followers, and by the number of comments she’s received, it’s clear that the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting isn’t keeping Jessa Duggar from the limelight.

The mom-to-be and her husband Ben Seewald are expecting their first child on November 1st, which is also their first wedding anniversary. If they know the gender of their child, they haven’t yet shared that news with their followers.

In a picture posted on Friday, Jessa Duggar Seewald shared her growing belly. She is now 25 weeks along.

“#BabySeewald at 25 weeks 4 days! Just a little over 14 weeks to go! Counting down the days with @ben_seewald!” she captioned the photo.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Shortly after sharing that Instagram post, Jessa Duggar donned an adorable apron embroidered with ‘Mrs. Seewald’ across the front, and shared a delicious recipe with her followers.

“Amy Cornett’s Super Easy Pretzel Cheesecake! This certainly isn’t a healthy dessert, but I love it so much that I have to make it at least once a year or so! So yummy and easy to throw together!
    Makes one 9×13 pan!
    _Layer 1:
•1 stick butter melted, with 2 T. sugar, poured over
    •2 cups broken pretzels
Bake at 350 for 2-5 min! (be careful not to let it burn!) _Layer 2:
    •16 oz. cream cheese
    •8 oz. sour cream
    •1 cup sugar
_Layer 3: 2 containers strawberries or blueberries
•1 jar strawberry or blueberry preserves
After layers are mixed individually, layer in pan… and then, if you can muster up enough self-control, refrigerate over night for best flavors! Enjoy!” she captioned the photo.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Maybe Jessa Duggar Seewald will one day make a return to network TV with her own cooking show?

It’s good to see that despite the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting, Jessa Duggar is carrying on with her life, and that her social media followers still support her efforts. Jessa was one of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims. His actions are the reason behind TLC canceling the Duggar family’s reality show.

Do you think there’s any chance at all that Jessa–and maybe sister Jill Duggar Dillard, too–might find their way back to appearing on TV?

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ Will Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar Throw Josh Duggar Under the Bus?

TLC canceled 19 Kids and Counting last week, and now a source says Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are so desperate to get their reality show back that they’ll throw son Josh Duggar under the bus if that’s what it takes.

The cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting was quite a blow to the Duggar family. It is reportedly they main source of income and they loved using the show as a conduit through which to share their faith with viewers.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar truly believe Josh is healed of whatever demons possessed him to sexually molest five underage girls–four of whom are his own sisters–when he was a teen. They firmly believed that by now the entire scandal would have blown over. If they have to do a show without Josh Duggar in it or distance themselves from their son in order to get their show back, the source says that’s what they’ll do.

“If they have to choose between money and Josh, Josh doesn’t stand a chance,” the source said. “The show was their biggest moneymaker, and they loved being in the limelight. This has been a huge blow to their wallets and their egos.”

It seems sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald and their husbands feel the same way, too. There was talk of a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff before the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal made news, and now that is no longer in the works.

Cousin Amy Duggar and her fiance Dillon King are crushed that TLC won’t air their wedding special. They even asked fans to contact TLC on their behalf, and share their disappointment.

“The whole clan is furious,” the source adds. “They’re holding Josh responsible for the destruction of their very lucrative brand.”

Do you think TLC–or maybe even another network–would give 19 Kids and Counting another chance if Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were to distance themselves from their son Josh?

Or is it far more likely that the Duggar family and their reality show is now a very definite thing of the past?

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald Shares Photo of Niece Meredith Grace Duggar, Josh and Anna Duggar’s New Baby

Jessa Duggar Seewald is one proud aunt. The former 19 Kids and Counting star, who just a week ago compared bellies with sister-in-law Anna Duggar, has a new niece.

Josh and Anna Duggar welcomed their fourth child–Meredith Grace Duggar–into the world on Sunday, and Jessa Duggar has a new photo to share.

Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband Ben are expecting their first child in November. Anna Duggar won the contest for the bigger belly.

It was via Instagram that Jessa shared the photo of her new niece with all of her followers.

“My beautiful niece! So excited to welcome little Meredith Grace Duggar into the world! 7lbs 14oz, 20 1/2 inches long!” she captioned the shot.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Jessa Duggar’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, were the first to publicly announce the birth of Josh and Anna Duggar’s new baby.

The short video clip is posted on The Duggar Family website.

Shortly after the Duggar grandparents shared word of Josh and Anna’s new baby, Josh Duggar himself shared word of his daughter’s birth via Twitter.

A little later Josh Duggar shared a close-up of baby Meredith Grace.

Jessa Duggar is no doubt excited about getting her hands on little Meredith Grace as practice for when her own baby is born. She was a hands-on aunt to Jill Duggar Dillard and Derick Dillard’s baby boy Israel when he was born, and until the family left for Central America to serve as missionaries.

Anna Duggar will no doubt allow Jessa Duggar to practice as often as she wants with Meredith Grace. Anna has her hands full, as this new baby makes four children for her and Josh.

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ Petition Launched to Bring Duggar Family TV Show Back

19 Kids and Counting was officially cancelled by TLC last week. The network issued a statement about their decision to pull the show, as well as one stating they won’t be creating a spinoff starring members of the Duggar family. They feel the family’s name has been too badly tarnished by the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal to continue airing the brand.

Now an online petition has surfaced, with fans urging others to sign. Their sole purpose is to bring 19 Kids and Counting back to TV.

“TLC has announced that it has permanently cancelled 19 Kids and Counting,” the Support the Duggars petition reads. “While the Duggar family may not be perfect and they’ve had difficulties like so many other families, their show WAS one of the few clean, family-friendly shows on TV. Sadly, there isn’t much a family can watch together any longer. The airwaves are full of terrible, trashy television! It isn’t right that the Duggars must be forced off the air while the filthy shows remain!”

“We want our voices to be heard! We all know the power of standing together–just ask A&E what happened when they cancelled Duck Dynasty!” the petition continues. “It seems that every day in America our values and way of life are disappearing. We must all stand together.”

Despite this petition to try to bring back 19 Kids and Counting, it seems the Duggar family has accepted their inevitable fate. Shortly after TLC made their announcement last week, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar issued a statement of their own.

“Today, TLC announced that they will not be filming new episodes of 19 Kids and Counting.

Years ago, when we were asked to film our first one hour documentary about the logistics of raising 14 children, we felt that it was an opportunity to share with the world that children are a blessing and a gift from God.

We are so thankful for our film crew that has shown up at our house for over a decade. They have become like family to us. They have invested their time and energy into our lives and have been so loving and patient. We love and appreciate them so much!

Over the last several years people have said to us, “We love your show!” We have always responded, “It’s not a show, it’s our lives!” Our desire in opening our home to the world is to share Bible principles that are the answers for life’s problems.

With God’s grace and help Josh, our daughters and our entire family overcame a terrible situation, found healing and a way forward. We are so pleased with the wonderful adults they have all become.

It is our prayer that the painful situation our family went through many years ago can point people toward faith in God and help others who also have lived through similar dark situations to find help, hope and healing, as well.

We appreciate the love, support, prayers and kindness extended to us by many of you. You have deeply touched our hearts and encouraged us, during this time.

God’s faithfulness and goodness to us, along with His abundant grace have given us strength and joy even in the most difficult days.

We have committed to Him that in all things—difficulties or success, good times or bad—we will purpose to bring Him honor by staying true to our faith and our family.

We look forward to working with TLC on this upcoming special documentary and hope that it is an encouragement to many.

We know Who holds the future and are confident that He will work all things together for good.

We love each of you and look forward to unfolding the future with peace and joy.

    With Gratefulness,

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar family”

Do you think this petition to bring back 19 Kids and Counting will amount to anything at all? Or is it simply helping fans feel like they are doing something to show their faith in the Duggar family?

Members of the Duggar family–Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–will reportedly appear in a TLC special on child sexual abuse. The special is set to air some time in August.

  • Josh Duggar: Is He Under Suicide Watch in Light of ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation?

Josh Duggar is definitely the reason behind TLC’s cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting. The network can’t even create a spinoff given the way Josh’s scandal has tarnished the Duggar family name. Since shortly after his sexual molestation scandal broke in the media, Josh has kept a very low profile. He resigned from his job and moved his family–pregnant wife Anna Duggar and their three children–back to Arkansas. He hasn’t appeared in any photos in which the Duggar family has gathered.

Less than a month ago, a report surfaced, claiming Josh Duggar was depressed and possibly even suicidal. Do you suppose he is now under suicide watch in light of the cancellation of his family’s reality show?

“Josh has seen his world and his family’s world crumble,” a source said in June. “And he knows that it’s all his fault. He can never rebound himself from this. He is hiding away leaving his loved ones fearing the worst, [that] he will do something drastic.”

Being devout, conservative Christians means the Duggar family shouldn’t even consider the notion of suicide. But as anyone with even remote knowledge of the taking of one’s life understands, religious beliefs seldom enter into the act when someone becomes distraught enough to consider it.

People considering suicide require serious clinical, psychological–and often psychiatric–help. Hopefully if there is any indication that Josh Duggar is suicidal, someone will insist he get this kind of help–immediately.

Also weighing on Josh Duggar is the notion that TLC will air a documentary special in August. That special will discuss child sexual abuse, and it will feature two of Josh Duggar’s victims–his sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald.

While Josh Duggar certainly committed some unthinkable crimes, he also is a human being with a wife and family. If he is experiencing any kind of suicidal tendencies, one can only pray his family will recognize them and insist on intervening with resources. While the Duggar family strongly believes in the power of prayer, it’s unlikely they can pray suicidal thoughts away, however. Outside help is needed.

Do you think it’s possible that Josh Duggar might be experiencing thoughts of suicide in light of the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting?

  • Duggar Family Members Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald to Appear in TLC Child Sexual Abuse Documentary

Duggar family members Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald will reportedly be featured in an upcoming documentary on child sexual abuse produced by TLC in the wake of their cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting.

The Duggar family reality show has been off the air since May, when oldest son Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal broke in the media. Josh sexually molested five underage girls–four of whom are his sisters–when he was a teenager. The fifth girl was a family babysitter at the time of the sexual molestations.

“We spent the past month and a half in thoughtful consideration about the best way forward here,” Marjorie Kaplan, who is the group president of TLC, Animal Planet and Velocity networks, said in a statement.

When announcing the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting this past week, TLC also announced they will be airing a documentary in August that will featuring two members of the Duggar family, who also happen to be two of Josh Duggar’s victims. Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald will be included in the documentary, as will the sexual abuse advocacy groups RAINN and Darkness to Light.

TLC had hoped to use members of the Duggar family in a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff, but determined that the family’s name has been so irrevocably tarnished by the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal that they simply couldn’t consider airing such a show.

Might the upcoming TLC documentary on child sexual abuse be the last time any members of the Duggar family appear on TV? Will Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald draw in enough viewers that TLC might reconsider creating some sort of a show featuring one or more of the Duggar family members?

  • Jill Duggar Dillard: She and Derick Dillard Share Update on Mission Trip in Wake of ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation

Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband Derick Dillard updated their blog post on Saturday, keeping their family members, friends, and fans apprised of their mission trip in Central America. While Jill and Derick still haven’t announced where they are serving as missionaries, many reports claim the family–the couple and their infant son Israel–are in El Salvador.

In their latest blog post, the couple shares updates on themselves, their baby, and even on an elderly woman they converted to Christianity.

“We are so excited to announce that we have safely arrived on the mission field and we can now tell you that we are in Central America! Israel seems to be adjusting to the new climate, culture, food (via mom’s milk), and language faster than Jill and I are. In fact, he has been the talk of the town. Everywhere we go, people here about and want to see and hold the, “big blue-eyed, white baby” LOL. Israel is definitely growing and developing fast. It has also been wonderful to make contact and talk briefly with family back in the US to share updates.

Above all, thank you to God and all our prayer and financial partners. We cannot express enough gratitude for the ways God has been working through so many of you to make this transition for our family as smooth as possible. God has used you all to bless us and to make our vision a reality for those who have yet to put their faith in Jesus Christ, who is our only hope for salvation.

It is encouraging to already see some of the ways God is changing the hearts of the people here. Just 7 days ago, I had the joy of witnessing one elderly woman give lordship of her life to Christ. This transpired just one day after her Christian son was restored to fellowship in his local church. We were at the man’s house ministering to him with encouragement from God’s Word when the opportunity was presented to share the hope of the Gospel with his mother. It’s our prayer, and we ask you to please pray with us, that many more would repent of their ways and turn to God’s way for their life.

“Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” -Psalm 106:1

    Love,

    Derick & Jill”

A photo posted by Jill Dillard (@jillmdillard) on

Jill Duggar Dillard didn’t mention anything about the cancellation of her family’s reality show. TLC announced earlier this week that they were canceling 19 Kids and Counting. They also announced that they are working with two organizations–RAINN and Darkness to Light–to create a documentary special on sexual abuse, and that it will feature both Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald. Both girls admit they are victims of their brother–Josh Duggar–and his sexual molestations from many years ago.

Both Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard appeared on Fox and spoke with Megyn Kelly about what their brother did. Jill Duggar explained that the revictimization on behalf of the media was far worse than what Josh Duggar did when he was a teenager.

It’s uncertain how long Derick and Jill will be serving as missionaries in Central America before they return to the United States. If Jill Duggar is to be a part of this TLC special, however, it doesn’t seem they’ll be gone as long as they previously stated. When first sharing word of an upcoming mission trip with their followers, the couple indicated they could be away for a year or more.

  • The Duggars: Why TLC Cancelled ’19 Kids and Counting’

The Duggars have been front and center in the media since word of their son–Josh Duggar’s–sexual molestations of five underage girls while he was a teenager, hit the media. Now the Duggars are thrust into the media yet again with this week’s announcement that TLC has cancelled their reality show. The network announced on Thursday that they have cancelled 19 Kids and Counting.

According to the Crimes Against Children Research Center, one in five girls and one in 20 boys become victims of sexual abuse. Three out of four young people who are sexually assaulted are victimized by an older sibling or someone they know well.

The American Academy of Pediatrics believes that when a child reports sexual abuse to a parent, the parent or parents must take it seriously. They must also contact a local child protection agency or local law enforcement officials.

That said, it’s hard to know which of these infractions weighed more heavily upon TLC when deciding whether or not to ditch the Duggars from their TV lineup. Were they more concerned with the fact that Josh Duggar is a known child molester or with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s means of handling the situation?

Marjorie Kaplan is the group president of TLC, Animal Planet and the Velocity networks. In a recent interview with the Associated Press, she had the following to say.

“We took it as an opportunity to step further than just ‘How do we protect ourselves?’ and step into ‘How do we protect our audience and protect children?’” Kaplan explained. “Our hope is to do more of that, in a way that’s thoughtful and respectful of the victims of child abuse–in the Duggar family and across America.”

TLC has made plans to feature the Duggars–including Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, who are both admittedly victims of Josh Duggar’s sexual abuse–in an upcoming special documentary that deals with sexual abuse. RAINN (short for the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) and Darkness to Light are both advocacy groups that will be partnering with TLC for the documentary.

The Duggars have appeared on TLC since 2008.

  • Anna Duggar Still Pregnant As News of ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation Impacts Duggar Family

Anna Duggar is still pregnant amidst news that TLC has cancelled her husband’s family’s reality show. How do you suppose Anna Duggar feels, knowing her husband–Josh Duggar–is likely responsible for 19 Kids and Counting’s cancellation?

Just a few days ago, Anna Duggar posed alongside sister-in-law Jessa Duggar Seewald, as they compared the sizes of their respective bellies. Anna’s is much larger than Jessa’s, of course, as her baby is overdue. Jessa and Ben Seewald aren’t expecting their baby until the first of November.

Michelle Duggar shared word of Anna Duggar’s overdue status, as well as the photo of her daughter and her daughter-in-law.

Well, sweet Anna is now past her due date! First time she has ever gone "late" instead of early! Here she is with our…

“Well, sweet Anna is now past her due date! First time she has ever gone “late” instead of early! Here she is with our Jessa. Be praying for these girls. Pretty soon we will get to kiss the sweet face of another Duggar grandbaby!!!” Michelle Duggar wrote.

Josh and Anna Duggar confirmed their fourth pregnancy back in December. They are already the parents of one daughter and two sons. A pregnancy reveal right before Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal first made news showed Anna Duggar is having a baby girl this time around.

Hopefully Anna Duggar’s remaining days of pregnancy are happy and healthy ones. She has no doubt been under a great deal of stress since her husband made news and their family had to move from Washington, D.C. back to Arkansas when Josh Duggar resigned from his job with the Family Research Council. These events are stressful enough without being pregnant at the same time.

Anna Duggar said she knew about the sexual molestations in Josh Duggar’s past before she married him.

Do you suppose she is in any way now regretting her decision?

Do you think Josh and Anna Duggar’s marriage will survive?

Michelle Duggar, Husband Jim Bob Issue Statement in Wake of ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation

Michelle Duggar and her husband Jim Bob issued a joint statement earlier today following an announcement on behalf of TLC that 19 Kids and Counting has been officially cancelled.

The network stopped airing episodes of the show shortly after the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal hit the media a couple of months ago.

It was via the Duggar Family Website (typically manned by Michelle Duggar) that the 19 Kids and Counting matriarch and patriarch shared word that they knew their reality show is finished.

“Today, TLC announced that they will not be filming new episodes of 19 Kids and Counting.

Years ago, when we were asked to film our first one hour documentary about the logistics of raising 14 children, we felt that it was an opportunity to share with the world that children are a blessing and a gift from God.

Michelle Duggar said during her interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox’s The Kelly File that the family would be just fine if TLC opted to cancel their show. Jessa Duggar Seewald said on the second part of the interview that they are a family who just happens to be on a reality show. She indicated that the reality show in no way defines the Duggar family.

It will be interesting to learn if any of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s children issue statements about TLC’s cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting.

Josh Duggar sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Four of them are his own sisters. One was a family babysitter.

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ TLC Officially Cancels Duggar Family Reality Show

19 Kids and Counting has been officially cancelled. TLC made the announcement via a statement on Thursday.

“After thoughtful consideration, TLC and the Duggar family have decided to not move forward with 19 Kids and Counting. The show will no longer appear on the air.

The recent attention around the Duggars has sparked a critical and important conversation about child protection.

Over these past weeks, TLC has consulted regularly with leading victims’ rights and advocacy organizations in the U.S., including RAINN and Darkness to Light, to discuss how to use this moment to address the issue and make a positive impact. Unfortunately, child sexual abuse is not an isolated issue; it affects many children and families around the world.

To that end, we are partnering with both organizations on a multi-platform campaign to raise awareness and educate parents and families about the issue. In the first phase of this initiative, TLC will work closely with both groups and with the Duggar family on a one-hour documentary that will include Jill and Jessa and other survivors and families that have been affected by abuse.

TLC has been especially concerned for the victims in this situation, including the Duggar family, and it is our hope that this effort will help those in need learn where to turn for information and help. The documentary will be commercial free, and we anticipate it will air later this summer.”

After thoughtful consideration, TLC and the Duggar family have decided to not move forward with 19 Kids and Counting….

Posted by TLC on Thursday, July 16, 2015

TLC pulled episodes of 19 Kids and Counting from the air shortly after word of the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal hit the media.

This statement also seems to negate rumors that there will be a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff based on Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillars. Rumor had it a show called Two Brides and Their Grooms was in the works. Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband Derick are overseas serving as missionaries, which fueled speculation a couple of weeks ago that the spinoff might not take place.

19 Kids and Counting fans are no doubt very disappointed that the show has come to an end.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar issued a statement about the show’s cancellation.

“Today, TLC announced that they will not be filming new episodes of 19 Kids and Counting.

God’s faithfulness and goodness to us, along with His abundant grace have given us strength and joy even in the most difficult days.

We have committed to Him that in all things — difficulties or success, good times or bad — we will purpose to bring Him honor by staying true to our faith and our family.

How do you suppose the Duggar family is really feeling today?

Might they beholding Josh Duggar–or maybe even themselves–responsible for the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting?

  • Duggar Family: Lots Going On in the ’19 Kids and Counting’ World

The Duggar family has been front and center in the media for a while now. It hasn’t all been bad, however. Even though the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal cast a most unfavorable light upon the 19 Kids and Counting clan, there are still some positives to report.

Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband Derick–along with their baby boy Israel–departed a little more than a week ago to serve as missionaries overseas. Derick has served as a missionary before. It was while serving in Nepal that he met Jim Bob Duggar and later met Jill. The couple celebrated their first anniversary in June.

Jessa Duggar Seewald’s pregnancy is proceeding in a normal, healthy manner. She and Ben Seewald’s baby is due in November–on the 1st, which is also the couple’s first wedding anniversary.

Anna Duggar–Josh Duggar’s wife–hasn’t had the couple’s fourth child yet. As of Sunday she was considered overdue. Her first three babies came early, so this is something new for Anna.

While those are indeed positives for the Duggar family, there are still some things that could darken the days to come in the 19 Kids and Counting household.

TLC has yet to announce whether or not they’ll continue producing 19 Kids and Counting, and with Jill Duggar away, it’s uncertain if a spinoff of the Duggar family reality show is a consideration. The speculated spinoff was to have starred both Jill and Derick Dillard along with Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband Ben.

Another small-scale scandal has touched the Duggar family. Jim Bob Duggar’s brother-in-law allegedly passed along genital herpes during unprotected sex with a woman several years back, and that has since resurfaced. The resurfacing not doubt comes as a result of media outlets trying to dig up dirt on the Duggar family and cause them even more shame. Many people don’t realize that Christians–even conservative Christians like the Duggar family–don’t claim to be perfect people. In fact they readily admit that they are sinners.

Jim Bob Duggar’s brother-in-law–the genital herpes spreader–is Amy Duggar’s father.

And in one last happy note for the Duggar family, Amy announced her engagement this weekend to Dillon King.

Life is certainly abuzz in the 19 Kids and Counting household–for better or for worse.

The Duggar family appear to be survivors, however. They’ll no doubt make their way through all of these events, too–the good as well as the not so good.

  • Jill Duggar to Miss Birth of New ’19 Kids and Counting’ Family Member

Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard departed for a foreign country last weekend where they will serve as missionaries. That means Jill–who was in training to become a midwife-will miss out on the birth of the next member of the 19 Kids and Counting family.

Anna Duggar, who was recently due to give birth to her fourth child with Josh Duggar, is now overdue. This means their baby could arrive any time now and Jill Duggar won’t be around to witness the birth.

Of course it’s uncertain that Jill would have attended Anna Duggar’s labor and delivery–or even if Anna is having a midwife. Sister Jana Duggar is a midwife, so she will at the very least be around to help Anna out after the new baby arrives.

This weekend, Anna Duggar and Jessa Duggar Seewald compared the size of their bellies in a fun picture. Jessa’s is, of course, much smaller, since her baby isn’t due until November.

Anna and Josh Duggar are already the parents of one daughter–Mackynzie is five–and two sons. Michael Duggar is three and Marcus Duggar is two. They are expecting a girl this time around.

Josh Duggar has been front and center in the news recently for having sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald have admitted they are two of his victims. It is expected that Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar are the other two sisters Josh molested. He also molested one non-related girl.

Do you expect Jill Duggar will be disappointed she isn’t home in Arkansas when Anna Duggar finally has her fourth baby? Or is Jill more than content to be serving as a missionary a long way from home?

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ Jim Bob Duggar’s Brother-in-Law (Amy Duggar’s Dad) Sued for Spreading Genital Herpes

The 19 Kids and Counting gang simply can’t catch a break. The Duggar family now has a new sex-related scandal to deal with in addition to Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal. No, nothing new has happened, but as with the Josh Duggar situation, a long-ago mistake has come back to rear its ugly head.

The year was 1991 and the state was Arkansas. The players involved Jim Bob Duggar’s brother-in-law and a woman whose identity hasn’t been disclosed. It seems Terry Jordan–singer Amy Duggar’s dad–engaged in sexual intercourse with this woman and passed along a very unwanted gift–that of genital herpes. The woman filed suit against Jordan, claiming he not only left her with the incurable STD, but never mentioned she was at risk of contracting it from him. She suffered both outbreaks of genital herpes as well as “extreme emotional distress,” according to RadarOnline.

The woman was seeking a one million dollar settlement. The lawsuit was dismissed about a year later when the woman refused to answer medical questions attorneys for Jordan asked.

In the meantime, however, Jim Bob Duggar’s brother-in-law said he had no clue he’d been infected with genital herpes, but he also refused to take a blood test at that time.

This STD debacle was no doubt brought back out into the media to cause even more shame for the 19 Kids and Counting family. Even though Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar–as well as Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard–went on TV to answer questions about the Josh Duggar case, it surely proved embarrassing for all involved.

Some people want the 19 Kids and Counting family to disappear, and they hope TLC cancels 19 Kids and Counting as a result of the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal. Do you think those same folks are hoping that this latest STD scandal will weigh on TLC as they make their decision?

It wouldn’t seem as though the 19 Kids and Counting gang could be blamed for something Jim Bob Duggar’s brother-in-law–who was an adult at the time–did 24 years ago.

Do you think the Duggar family will wind up paying for this scandal?

  • Josh Duggar: Has Wife Anna Had Their Baby Yet?

Josh Duggar and wife Anna Duggar are expecting their fourth child, and Anna is now considered overdue for giving birth to their baby.

The disgraced 19 Kids and Counting star moved his wife and family back to Arkansas after resigning from his job with the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. after word of his sexual molestation scandal made news.

Anna and Josh Duggar are already parents to one daughter–Mackynzie is five–and two sons–Michael and Marcus are four and two, respectively. This overdue baby is a girl, so things will soon be even in this Duggar household.

Anna Duggar posed for a picture over weekend with sister-in-law Jessa Duggar Seewald. In it the two ladies compare the sizes of their bellies, with Anna’s being significantly larger than Jessa’s. Jessa and Ben aren’t due until November with their first bundle of joy.

It’s uncertain what Josh Duggar is doing for work these days. Might Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar be supporting Josh and Anna and their children?

The 19 Kids and Counting family has a lot to contend with right now following Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal resurfacing, two pregnancies in the family, and Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband and son leaving the country to serve as missionaries.

Josh Duggar and wife Anna will soon welcome a new member of their family. How sad that their baby will be born surrounded by the scorn of so many.

Did Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar do Josh Duggar a big disservice by trying to keep his sexual molestations quiet all those years ago? Had they been handled differently, might Josh and Anna Duggar–as well as the entire 19 Kids and Counting family–not have this scandal hanging over their heads now?

  • Anna Duggar, Josh Duggar: Fourth Baby is Overdue

Anna Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame is expecting her fourth baby with husband Josh Duggar. Josh is, of course, the Duggar family member who has made news (bad news, that is) in recent weeks since his sexual molestation scandal of several years back was rehashed in the media. Anna Duggar gave birth early when delivering their first three children. Her fourth baby, however, is now overdue.

In a picture taken alongside sister-in-law Jessa Duggar Seewald, Anna Duggar compared the size of her belly to the smaller one Jessa sports these days. Jessa Duggar and hubby Ben Seewald aren’t expecting their baby until November 1st.

Michelle Duggar shared the picture of her daughter and her daughter-in-law via the Duggar’s Official Facebook page this weekend.

Well, sweet Anna is now past her due date! First time she has ever gone "late" instead of early! Here she is with our…

Anna Duggar is mom to daughter Mackynzie, who is five, and sons Michael and Marcus, who are four and two, respectfully.

This is the first time Anna Duggar has gone late with a baby. Her first three children all came early.

Anna Duggar has no doubt suffered horribly in light of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal. Surely the Duggar family is grateful that her pregnancy hasn’t been negatively impacted by the stress she has endured.

While Anna Duggar knew what Josh Duggar had done before she married him, she surely never knew it would come back to haunt the 19 Kids and Counting family all these years later.

Hopefully Anna Duggar has her baby soon. Summer pregnancies can be miserable–especially those that are overdue. Anna and Josh Duggar live back in Arkansas now, which means the weather is hot and humid.

  • Duggar Family Pregnancy Updates: Jessa Duggar Seewald and Anna Duggar Compare Burgeoning Bellies

The Duggar family will soon have two new grandchildren to add to their list of loved ones. 19 Kids and Counting stars Jessa Duggar Seewald and Anna Duggar are expecting, with Anna Duggar’s baby due a few days ago.

The two members of the Duggar family posed for fun pictures on Sunday, showing off their burgeoning bellies for all to see.

It was via the Duggar family’s official Facebook page that Michelle Duggar (presumably) posted a photo of daughter Jessa Duggar and daughter-in-law Anna Duggar. Anna is, of course, the wife of Josh Duggar, whose sexual molestation scandal has wreaked havoc upon the Duggar family in recent weeks.

“Well, sweet Anna is now past her due date! First time she has ever gone “late” instead of early! Here she is with our Jessa. Be praying for these girls. Pretty soon we will get to kiss the sweet face of another Duggar grandbaby!!!”

Anna Duggar is pregnant with her fourth child. She and Josh Duggar have one daughter and two sons. In a gender reveal just prior to Josh’s sexual molestation scandal hitting the media, it was announced that this baby is a girl.

Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald are expecting their first baby on their first wedding anniversary–November 1st. That’s a lot of firsts for this Duggar family member. They haven’t let on what the gender of their baby is–or if they even know themselves.

Hopefully the addition of these precious grandchildren will be a welcome distraction to all the members of the Duggar family. They have all come under significant fire in the past couple of months.

Meanwhile new grandson Israel Dillard left with mom Jill Duggar Dillard and dad Derick Dillard to serve as missionaries overseas. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will presumably visit them some time in the coming months.

Grandchildren are huge blessings to all families. Hopefully they can instill new hope in the 19 Kids and Counting family members.

  • Jessa Duggar: Pregnant ’19 Kids and Counting’ Star Faces Big Disappointment

Jessa Duggar and hubby Ben Seewald are expecting their first baby in November, and Jessa is fast realizing how pregnancy can play with her emotions. On the heels of saying goodbye to sister Jill Duggar Dillard, hubby Derick Dillard, and baby Israel–which was a very emotional moment for Jessa Duggar–she has now faced another episode of emotional turmoil.

The 19 Kids and Counting star shared a big disappointment with her followers on Instagram earlier this week.

“How is it that being pregnant can make this such an emotional moment? #TheLastNugget,” she captioned the shot.

Clearly Jessa Duggar’s pregnancy emotions are getting the best of her.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

In other Jessa Duggar news, she appears to have defied the rules set forth by parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar on the 4th of July. The Duggar women and girls have long adhered to a very strict policy of wearing very modest clothing. That means dresses or skirts–knee-length or longer–all the time. Even their swimsuits are that long.

Jessa Duggar and hubby Ben Seewald posed in front of a swimming pool, and Jessa–gasp–wore board shorts.

“Happy 4th from our little family to yours!” she captioned the Instagram shot.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Is this further proof that pregnancy emotions are getting the best of Jessa Duggar Seewald? Might they lead to some permanent changes–especially where her wardrobe is concerned? Jessa Seewald is a beautiful girl, but she wears some incredibly dowdy duds.

The important thing, of course, is that Jessa’s pregnancy is proceeding smoothly. After the stress the young mom-to-be experienced with the recent media frenzy about Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal, it’s good to know that all is well.

Jessa has started to follow sister Jill Duggar’s method of sharing a progression of her growing belly in photos from week to week. It’s fun to see and hear how she’s feeling at each stage of her pregnancy.

Do you think Jessa Duggar got in trouble with her parents when the photo of her in board shorts hit the internet?

  • ’19 Kids and Counting’ Family Bids Tearful Goodbye to Jill Duggar Dillard, Husband Derick, and Baby Israel

The 19 Kids and Counting family bid a tearful goodbye to daughter Jill Duggar Dillard, along with her husband Derick and son Israel, as the family left on Sunday for a mission trip overseas.

Lots of tears were shed and sobs were audible in a video clip of the 19 Kids and Counting gang as they wished Jill and Derick well and prayed together as a family before Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar packed them up and drove them to the airport.

Michelle Duggar posted the video to the Duggar family website.

It wasn’t too long ago that Derick Dillard shared that he and Jill were called to be missionaries overseas. Though the 19 Kids and Counting family hasn’t said where overseas the family will serve, sources believe it may be Nepal.

“God has put a desire in our hearts to serve Him internationally for longer than the typical short-term mission trip, but we didn’t know yet how God would fulfill that desire in us. We were prepared for the possibility of it being years before our family would be able to make a move of that magnitude. It’s something we’ve prayed about together in an effort to seek God’s plan for our lives in His service. Earlier this year God brought about an opportunity much earlier than either of us was expecting. Several months ago a new opportunity arose for us to serve God on the mission field. Before us we had a choice to make that would undoubtedly change the trajectory of our lives forever,” Derick wrote on his and Jill Duggar’s blog.

It’s plain to see in the video that Jessa Duggar Seewald had an especially hard time letting go of sister Jill Duggar as the two hugged after the family prayed together. She is no doubt sad that Jill won’t be on hand when she and hubby Ben Seewald welcome their baby into the world in November.

The 19 Kids and Counting patriarch Jim Bob Duggar had a hard time saying goodbye to Jill and Derick’s baby boy Israel. The baby will likely change a lot before the family sees him again. Jim Bob did say that he and Michelle will likely travel to visit them overseas in the coming months.

This mission trip comes at a good time for Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard. Jill is admittedly one of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims. She appeared to be taking the reliving of the incident in the media much harder than sister Jessa Duggar when the two appeared on TV for an interview with Fox’s Megyn Kelly a few weeks ago. Perhaps getting out of the U.S where most everyone recognizes her will be helpful to Jill.

The 19 Kids and Counting family will undergo a huge adjustment having Jill Duggar living so far away. Up until now the only member of the family to leave Arkansas was Josh Duggar. In light of the media’s coverage of his sexual molestation scandal, he and wife Anna Duggar and their children have now moved back to Arkansas.

It will be interesting to see if TLC resumes airing 19 Kids and Counting episodes this fall. If so, do you think they might send a camera crew overseas to film at least some of what Jill and Derick are doing as missionaries?
