  • Jennifer Aniston Talks Unique Use of Sweat

Jennifer Aniston is an ambassador for Living Proof hair products, and she talked during an interview on the Fashionista website about how she’s not into hair style fads. Just look at how long she wore her hair in ‘The Rachel’ before growing her tresses a bit longer.

“I’m not a trend person really. I kind of wait for the trends to go,” she explained. “Platinum blonde–unless it was a wig–no.”

So imagine how surprised they must have been to learn about a unique way Jennifer Aniston uses sweat.

You guessed it. She uses it as a hair product. No, she doesn’t tout its use over that of Living Proof products.

“A little sweat in the hair is nice,” Jennifer Aniston said. “It’s like a little product. You just blow it out with your fingers, and it’s actually just fun.”

Chris McMillan is Jennifer Aniston’s hair stylist. She knows he’d like to switch up her look.

“Chris has that thing where he’s like Edward Scissorhands. He just sees hair and he wants to cut it,” she shared. “He just wants to just cut it all off, kind of like a pixie, which I will never do. And he always likes to give it a good two inches every year, just a healthy cut. He’s also suggested going back to dark brown.”

Do you think Chris McMillan condones Jennifer Aniston’s use of sweat as a hair product?

Alas that’s one of the things fans love most about Jennifer Aniston. No, not the use of sweat, but rather her ability to be brutally honest even when it makes some people cringe.

Have you ever borrowed this hair tip from Jennifer Aniston and used sweat to style your hair? Do you suppose Justin Theroux knows his fiancee styles her hair this way?

  • Jennifer Aniston Reveals Shocking Hair Care Secret

Jennifer Aniston and her hair have enjoyed quite a bit of fame over the years, with “The Rachel” sending women all over the country to hair salons in an effort to copy it and the sleek bob she sported later garnering massive amounts of attention. These days, she keeps things simple with a face-framing center part and shiny caramel highlights. But a recent interview revealed that she uses a surprising product to keep her hair looking good: sweat.

“A little sweat in the hair is nice. It’s like a little product. You just blow it out with your fingers, and it’s actually just fun,” Aniston told Fashionista.

Aniston says she waits out the fad hairstyles for the most part because she’d rather keep things sleek and chic, and she can’t imagine going super short.

“I’m not a trend person really. I kind of wait for the trends to go. Platinum blonde — unless it was a wig — no.”

Aniston has been in the headlines several times over the last few months after her much-talked-about performance in Cake failed to garner an Oscar nod, and also after Jimmy Kimmel arranged for a bit of a Friends reunion on his show. The actress was a good sport and played along on a set replica of Monica’s kitchen, much to the delight of the audience.

The actress also revealed in January that as a child, she thought she wasn’t smart because she was suffering from undiagnosed dyslexia.

“I thought I wasn’t smart. I just couldn’t retain anything. The only reason I knew [that I had it] was because I went to get a prescription for glasses. I had to wear these Buddy Holly glasses. One had a blue lens and one had a red lens. And I had to read a paragraph, and they gave me a quiz, gave me 10 questions based on what I’d just read, and I think I got three right. Then they put a computer on my eyes, showing where my eyes went when I read. My eyes would jump four words and go back two words, and I also had a little bit of a lazy eye, like a crossed eye, which they always have to correct in photos,” Aniston told The Hollywood Reporter.

  • Isla Fisher’s Week: Bump Gets Kissed By Jen Aniston, Gets Double Date With The Clooneys

Isla Fisher had an amazing week.

The very pregnant wife of Sacha Baron Cohen started out Oscar celebrations on Wednesday evening. Isla Fisher and her hubby doubled up with George Clooney and his new wife, Amal Almuddin.

The foursome dined together at Sunset Tower Hotel’s Tower Bar.

It seems Isla Fisher’s belly wasn’t the only attention grabber of the night. The newly minted Mrs. George Clooney was wearing a “very short navy skirt” that showed off her “very long legs.”

Sources said that Almuddin was turning heads all night.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_FgQ-rgOvc

However, Isla Fisher‘s belly got even more attention on Sunday night at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty.

The soon-to-be mother of three dressed her bump in a lovely floor-length blue and white gown that accentuated her bump very nicely.

So nicely, apparently, that Jennifer Aniston couldn’t resist giving Isla Fisher’s bump a sweet kiss.

Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen’s third baby is due this spring, and will join its sisters, Elula, 4, and Olive, 7.

Isla Fisher loves being pregnant and all the benefits that go with it.

Isla Fisher said back in 2012, “I loved being able to eat whatever I wanted and the whole experience of giving life. And I never worried about losing the weight afterwards, because breastfeeding burns all the calories up so fast.”

But that’s not the only secret weapon that Isla Fisher deploys after each child.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcjFoX1VtPE

She admitted, “That and Spanx. Anytime anyone compliments me on my figure, I’m wearing my Spanx undies.”

Aha! That makes it a little more real.

What do you think about Isla Fisher’s awesome photo op with Jennifer Aniston kissing her belly?

  • Jennifer Aniston Puckers Up for Isla Fisher’s Baby Bump After Oscars

Jennifer Aniston was among the best dressed at the Oscars on Sunday, and she looked gorgeous at the Vanity Fair after party as well. While backstage at the after party, Jen couldn’t resist getting up close and personal with Isla Fisher’s baby bump.

It was back in October when Isla Fisher withdrew from the Now You See Me sequel, and announced that she and hubby, actor Sacha Baron Cohen, were expecting their third child. Due this spring, that baby bump is burgeoning, and Jennifer Aniston simply couldn’t help herself. She dropped down low to the ground and aligned her face with the baby bump. Next, she puckered up–as if kissing Isla Fisher’s bump–and posed for the camera.

Both ladies looked Oscars-perfect in the shot. Jennifer Aniston shone brightly in gold sparkles, while Fisher wore a beautiful white maternity dress bedecked in lovely cascades of blue flowers.

Some folks have wondered if Jennifer Aniston regrets not having children. She is engaged to marry Justin Theroux, but no wedding date has been set. She was, of course, previously married to Brad Pitt.

Jennifer Aniston set people straight about her life sans children during an interview back in August.

“Who knows what the reason is, why people aren’t having kids. There’s a lot of reasons that could be, and maybe it’s something that no one wants to discuss,” she said. “It’s everyone’s personal prerogative, that’s all.”

By seeing Jennifer Aniston kissing Isla Fisher’s baby bump, one gets the distinct feeling that the Cake actress and former Friends star doesn’t feel left out of life because she isn’t a mother. In fact, she seems to be doing just exceptionally well in all aspects of her life.

  • Jennifer Aniston Kissing Isla Fisher’s Baby Bump at Vanity Fair Post-Oscar Party Makes For Sweet Pic

Jennifer Aniston kneeled down to give Isla Fisher‘s baby bump a sweet little kiss at Vanity Fair’s Oscars 2015 afterparty on Sunday.

Jennifer Aniston, looking gorgeous in a gold Versace gown, and Isla Fisher, who is expecting her third child with husband Sacha Baron Cohen, are long-time friends so it was only fitting that the Friends alum take a moment to greet and kiss her pal’s baby. The sweet greeting took place at the star-studded bash hosted Sunday by Graydon Carter at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.

Jennifer Aniston appeared at the after party with fiancé Justin Theroux, after attending the 87th Academy Awards show live in the Shrine Auditorium.

Isla Fisher, who didn’t attend the ceremony, wore a baby bump-friendly white gown covered in blue flowers, which makes one wonder if its a hint at the sex of the baby.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in November, Jennifer Aniston shared how desperate Isla Fisher is to see her married to Theroux. She shared that every time she hosts an innocent dinner party, Theroux hopes its actually a wedding celebration.

“Our friends Sacha and Isla showed up for four little gatherings, about a year ago, in beautiful wedding wear,” Jennifer Aniston told DeGeneres, laughing. “Even for the Fourth of July last year, Sacha was in a powder blue suit, and Isla was in a little cute dress and we were like, ‘Guys, it’s Fourth of July, we were in cutoffs, eating hot dogs. We will actually let you know!’”

  • Demi Moore Allegedly Gushes on Rumored Boyfriend Orlando Bloom’s ‘Uplifting Influence’

Demi Moore allegedly loves rumored new beau Orlando Bloom’s “uplifting influence.”

According to British magazine Grazie, Demi Moore is dating the Orlando Bloom after being introduced by mutual friend Jennifer Aniston.

According to the magazine, Demi Moore, 53, is very attracted to the can’t help but be attracted to 38-year-old Orlando Bloom.

“The thing Demi loves most about Orlando is how positive he is,” a source reportedly told the magazine. “His uplifting influence is just what she feels she needs.”

If reports turn out to be true, this will not the first foray into a May-December romance for the renounced “cougar.” Demi was married to Ashton Kutcher, 37, for six years before announcing their separation in 2011. They divorced in November 2013.

According to reports, former Friends star Jennifer Anniston thought the two would be a good match and hooked them up.

“Jen organised a double date at her place with [her fiancé] Justin [Theroux],” an insider told another British tabloid, Heat. “Things went well, so she suggested Orlando and Demi did a private yoga class together. Orlando was up for it and Demi couldn’t say no. It all started there.”

Orlando Bloom was previously married to supermodel Miranda Kerr, but they announced their separation in October 2013.

Apparently, Orlando and Demi Moore have similar beliefs and interests.

“They’re both deeply spiritual characters who love yoga, meditation and new-age philosophies,” the source told Grazia.

“They’ve both been initiated into spiritual practice Usui Reiki and have started to practise on each other.”

The relationship is reportedly casual for the moment, but the Heat insider told revealed that Orlando Bloom is planning to take a “retreat” with his new love interest.

“Orlando wants to take Demi to a Buddhist retreat in India next month,” they said. “She’s excited about it.”

Remember folks, these are rumors based out of Europe. Could be true, but could be completely off target.

  • Demi Moore and Orlando Bloom? Are They Dating?

Demi Moore and Orlando Bloom are reportedly ‘getting close.’ The pair were spotted on a yoga date this week, and rumor has it they were set up by mutual friend Jennifer Aniston. It’s also believed that the two bonded over their love of yoga.

“They are both deeply spiritual characters who love yoga, meditation and new age philosophies. They’ve both been initiated into spiritual practice Usui Reiki and have started to practice on each other,” a source said.

Orlando Bloom and ex-wife Miranda Kerr split up in 2013–the same year Demi Moore split from Two and A Half Men star Ashton Kutcher.

“At this stage it’s a casual thing, nothing serious and it’s not yet exclusive. But they’ve enjoyed several low-key dates together and the potential is definitely there for something steadier,” the source adds.

Demi Moore is, once again, robbing the cradle by dating Orlando Bloom. She is 52 and he is just 38 years old. Given that Ashton Kutcher is 37, Demi Moore now has closed that May-December relationship gap by a year.

“The thing Demi loves the most about Orlando is how positive he is. His uplifting influence is just what she feels she needs, as do her daughters–particularly Tallulah,” the source continues.

Demi Moore reportedly believes Orlando Bloom is a good influence on all three of her daughters–Rumer, who is 26, Scout, who is 23, and Tallulah, who is 21.

It may not be a given that Demi Moore and the Lord of the Rings actor are exclusively dating, however. He has also been spotted with a mystery blonde in recent weeks, and even with Selena Gomez.

What do you think the deal is with Orlando Bloom and Demi Moore? Are they really dating or do they simply share a love of yoga?

Do you see a future for these two?

  • Jennifer Aniston Loses At Last Chance For An Award This Year, But Looked Gorgeous In Gold

While Jennifer Aniston was snubbed by the Oscars, all eyes were on her as she walked down the red carpet at the Screen Actors’ Guild Awards on Sunday night. Nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor, Aniston made a huge entrance with soon-to-be-husband Justin Theroux by her side.

The 45-year-old actress wore a vintage Galliano long gown that’s made from embroidered gold material. In an interview with People Magazine, Jen revealed how she “just kind of dropped dead for it.” Her longtime stylist Chris McMillian described the stunning gown as golden like Jennifer. “It was sexy… She looks California, she looks gorgeous, she looks pretty,” McMillian added. Aniston got cheers from the crowd for her revealing plunging dress that’s accentuated by a black border at the bottom. The former Friends star also wore a body chain, the same one that she wore at the Critics’ Choice Award.

When it was time for the interview with E!, Aniston refused to show her nails for the ManiCam. She shot down host Maria Menounos’ invitation with a polite, “No, thank you,” and played cool about it. Aniston laughed at the invitation and made a whiplash motion as she laughed along. Jennifer Aniston wasn’t the only one who refused to do the ManiCam, fellow nominees Julianne Moore and Reese Witherspoon rejected Menounos during the interview.

In the end, it was Moore who went home with the SAG trophy for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor for her role in Still Alice. For Aniston, it was enough that her talent was recognized. Critics praised her transformative role in Cake where she played Claire, a woman who’s being plagued by her inner demons. Aniston prepared for the role by stopping her workout routine, which caused her anxiety and sleeplessness. While the SAG awards was her last chance to bring home a trophy, Aniston seemed relaxed and calm even after the lost.

  • Jennifer Aniston Talks Life With Dyslexia

Jennifer Aniston Talks Life With Dyslexia

Jennifer Aniston grew up thinking she wasn’t smart. That no doubt shocks those who have watched the talented beauty transform from Rachel on Friends to one of Hollywood’s A-listers and film stars.

“I thought I wasn’t smart,” she said during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “I just couldn’t retain anything.”

Finally, when she was in her 20s, she learned what the real problem was. She suffered from dyslexia.

“The only reason I knew [that I had it] was because I went to get a prescription for glasses,” she says. “I had to wear these Buddy Holly glasses. One had a blue lens and one had a red lens. And I had to read a paragraph, and they gave me a quiz, gave me 10 questions based on what I’d just read, and I think I got three right. Then they put a computer on my eyes, showing where my eyes went when I read. My eyes would jump four words and go back two words, and I also had a little bit of a lazy eye, like a crossed eye, which they always have to correct in photos.”

Receiving the diagnosis put lots of things into perspective for the Cake star.

“Now I had this great discovery,” she says. “I felt like all of my childhood trauma-dies, tragedies, dramas were explained.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, “dyslexia is a learning disorder characterized by difficulty reading due to problems identifying speech sounds and learning how they relate to letters and words. Also called specific reading disability, dyslexia is a common learning disability in children.”

“Dyslexia occurs in children with normal vision and intelligence. Sometimes dyslexia goes undiagnosed for years and isn’t recognized until adulthood.”

“There’s no cure for dyslexia. It’s a lifelong condition caused by inherited traits that affect how your brain works. However, most children with dyslexia can succeed in school with tutoring or a specialized education program. Emotional support also plays an important role.”

It certainly makes one wonder what changes Jennifer Aniston might have made in her life had she learned as a child that she had dyslexia. Would she have grown up to be the actress she is today? Or might she have chosen a different path for her life?

Jennifer Aniston is a sure example for those living with dyslexia that the world is theirs to conquer. She certainly hasn’t let it prevent her from reaching some very lofty goals. She’s engaged to actor Justin Theroux, and even though she was snubbed during the Oscar nominations for her role in Cake, she is happy knowing the film is getting great press.

Does the revelation that Jennifer Aniston is dyslexic make you wonder what other Hollywood A-listers have similar issues?

  • Jennifer Aniston On Having Children: “We’re Doing Our Best”

Jennifer Aniston and fiance Justin Theroux have been in the headlines more times than one person can count, between their various acting projects, their long engagement, rumors that they are on the brink of a breakup, and of course, whether or not they’re going to give us a little silken caramel-haired Hollywood baby. But listen, she’s tired of answering questions about it, okay? They’re maybe in the process of creating one right now, but you’re going to have to stop pestering her uterus about it, jeez.

“Listen, that’s a topic that’s so exhausted. I get nervous around that, just because it’s very personal. Who knows if it’s going to happen? It’s been a want. We’re doing our best,” she told The Hollywood Reporter recently.

The interview covers a wide range of topics we’ve never read about before, such as Jennifer Aniston’s relationship with Brad Pitt (“If the world could just stop with the stupid, soap-opera bulls—. There’s no story. I mean, at this point it’s starting to become – please, give more credit to these human beings.”) and how she doesn’t even care that the Academy totally ignored her makeup-free role in Cake. They also delve into the root of one of Jennifer Aniston’s darkest times: finding out she had dyslexia as a kid.

“The only reason I knew [that I had it] was because I went to get a prescription for glasses. My eyes would jump four words and go back two words, and I also had a little bit of a lazy eye, like a crossed eye, which they always have to correct in photos. Now I had this great discovery. I felt like all of my childhood trauma-dies, tragedies, dramas were explained,” she said.

As far as Cake goes, Jennifer told Ellen DeGeneres recently that she didn’t even care about the Oscars because at least people saw the movie, which was a total shock.

“I’m the No. 1 snubbed! That’s the silver lining, right?” Jennifer Aniston asked Ellen. “That’s the crazy thing! We’re so shocked and amazed that we have had this much love at all.”

  • Jennifer Aniston Tells Ellen DeGeneres, “I’m the No. 1 Snubbed”

Jennifer Aniston visited with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres this afternoon, and while there told her, “I’m the No. 1 snubbed!”

The Friends star joked about her Oscar snub for her role in the upcoming film Cake.

“That’s the silver lining, right?” she asked Ellen of her self-named title.

Jennifer Aniston did express her enthusiasm over the fact that Cake has attracted a great deal of attention prior to its release.

“That’s the crazy thing!” she said. “We’re so shocked and amazed that we have had this much love at all.”

Jennifer Aniston certainly wasn’t the only person snubbed at the announcement of the Oscar nominees. Selma star David Oyelowo wasn’t nominated in the Best Actor category. Many expected to see him there opposite Aniston for Best Actress.

In addition, The Lego Movie was snubbed for Best Animated Feature, and even Angela Jolie didn’t get a nod for her work directing Unbroken.

Jennifer Aniston has always had a remarkably strong spine and a great sense of humor. This latest snub will no doubt go the way of so many of the incidents in her past that once bothered her. After all, who really cares if Cake earns her an Oscar if the film itself winds up being wildly successful? Okay, so that may be expecting too much of the snubbed actress.

Fortunately Jen had Ellen DeGeneres to chat with about her big disappointment. And if Ellen can’t make someone feel better–who can?

  • Jennifer Aniston Buries Beef With Angelina Jolie

For the first time since the Academy Awards back in 2009, Jennifer Aniston attended the same event with Angelina Jolie. During the star-studded Critic’s Choice Awards last Thursday, the former wife of Brad Pitt was spotted sitting a few tables away from the Maleficent star. The two were both nominated for different categories: Aniston for per dramatic performance in Cake and Jolie for directing the critically-acclaimed World War II film, Unbroken.

Aniston went to the ceremonies with her fiancé, actor Justin Theroux, while Jolie went solo. The two Hollywood superstars were only three tables away from each other and spectators awaited whether the two actresses would interact during the show.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight following the awards show, Aniston felt that the gossip between her and Jolie are finally dying down. “It’s just tiresome and old,” she said. “It’s like an old leather shoe. Let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes.”

Aniston also hailed Jolie’s film as “beautiful and wonderful. “She did such a gorgeous job. I think that it’s time people stop with that petty BS and just start celebrating great work,” she continued. The Golden Globe nominated actress requested the gossip mongers to stop the petty kind of silliness.

Brad Pitt and Aniston were married back in 2000, but the two separated in 2005 following news about Pitt and Jolie’s closeness during the shooting of their film, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. For years, the three Hollywood stars had to deal with the chatter surrounding their personal lives.

After the Oscar nominations were revealed last week, Aniston’s fans were outraged about the Academy’s decision to snub her powerful performance. In the film, Aniston plays an alcoholic who grapples with her inner demons after a woman in her support group committed suicide.  “I found it quite endearing and flattering that I had so many people rooting for me. It was almost just as good to be No. 1 snubbed than to be nominated,” Aniston commented.

  • Jennifer Aniston: So Over Angelina Jolie “B.S.”

Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie have supposedly been feuding for over a decade now.

The rumors seem to start fresh at the start of each awards season, and this year, both of them are pretty busy doing the awards circuit.

Jennifer Aniston is enjoying critical acclaim for her role as a drug-addicted chronic pain sufferer in her new movie, Cake.

Angelina Jolie is also reveling in praise for the movie she directed, Unbroken, about World War II hero and POW Louis Zamperini.

While neither Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie were nominated for oscars this year, Aniston was exceedingly kind to Jolie in her praise of Unbroken.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2s6q9OSS8I

“I think that’s slowly coming to an end. I really do,” Jennifer Aniston said of their supposed rivalry.

She added, “I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful and she did such a gorgeous job. I think that it’s time people stop with that petty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness.”

Jennifer Aniston is obviously so over it and enjoying life with fiance Justin Theroux.

“It’s just tiresome and old,” she said. “It’s like an old leather shoe. Let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes.”

I’m sure Angelina would agree. She has been with Brad Pitt for almost a decade and the two of them have a huge family and a stable life together.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvF9LfvbnXI

Even back in 2005, when it looked like Jolie broke up Brad Pitt’s marriage Jennifer Aniston, Angelina took it very seriously. She and Brad Pitt reportedly fell in love while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

“It took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we’d earlier allowed ourselves to believe,” she said. “And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration.”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K22m9GuSm6U

If Jennifer Aniston can call it old B.S., then we all should. What do you think? Should the tabloids just leave these two ladies alone to get on with their lives?

  • Jennifer Aniston: No Oscar Nod for ‘Cake’

Jennifer Aniston: No Oscar Nod for ‘Cake’

Jennifer Aniston didn’t get that highly anticipated Oscar nod for her role in Cake. For months speculation ran high with Oscar fever for the former Friends star. Jennifer Aniston portrayed Claire Simmons in the film–a woman who suffers from chronic pain.

“The leg was shattered, the back was broken, the neck,” Aniston said of her character’s condition during a recent interview with Access Hollywood. “There’s not one thing that doesn’t hurt or even that it hurts to breathe and just basically being conscious of the right leg; being conscious of not being able to walk and get up or nothing.”

In addition to playing a woman who wound up seriously addicted to pain medication as a result of her condition, Jennifer Aniston also had to face her fear of drowning head on.

“I have a thing about being submerged from a kid. I drove my tricycle into a pool, sunk to the bottom ’cause I wasn’t ready enough to let go of the darn thing,” she explained about the origin of her fear. “I have a really hard time going under water… It was a day of kinda getting a little panicked.”

In Cake, her character engages in water therapy, meaning it was into the pool with Aniston.

In real life Jennifer Aniston is engaged–but not with water therapy. She has been engaged to actor Justin Theroux for a bit over two years now. Some wonder if the two will ever get around to tying that proverbial knot.

The previews alone made it look as though Jennifer Aniston was a definite Oscar contender for Cake. Apparently the Academy had too much competition through which to sift in the leading actress category. Were you among those very surprised to learn of her Oscar snub?

  • Jennifer Aniston Snubbed At Oscar Noms

Jennifer Aniston Snubbed At Oscar Noms

Jennifer Aniston went all out, or let it all go, for her role as a drug-addicted chronic pain sufferer in Cake.

But, it wasn’t enough for the aging star to grab one of those treasured statues this year.

Jennifer Aniston shirked her on-point style, her perfect hair, and her carefully applied make up for the role.

She even sported prosthetic scars and neglected her workout.

Jennifer Aniston said of the Cake preparations, “For two months there were no mirrors to look at, no manicurists. Nothing. The hardest part for me was when they said, ‘Don’t work out.’ I said, ‘But I have to.’ And then I realized, Oh. When you’re not working out, your levels of joy just go down, down, down.”

She continued, “And it’s not that easy to get the weight off once you stop working out. You say to your body, ‘Hey, what’s going on?’ But that’s just the 40s.”

After all that, to not be nominated for an Oscar…well, it just doesn’t seem fair.

Even critics and Toronto Film Festival audiences seemed exceedingly impressed with Jennifer Aniston’s performance.

The LA Times said of Jennifer Aniston in Cake, “As an accident victim whose nearly every move is excruciating, Aniston lends the role an impressively agonized physicality and brings ace timing to the screenplay’s welcome gallows humor.”

Even USA Today, which didn’t praise the film itself, loved Jennifer Aniston in the movie. They said, “Underlying her dowdy appearance is a subtle performance of a deeply depressed woman suffering from terrible pain, physical and emotional. Aniston’s portrayal feels honest, but the film doesn’t rise to the level of her performance.”

The rest of us will just have to wait and see her performance for ourselves when Cake comes out on the 23rd.

Poor Jennifer Aniston! She just can’t seem to catch a break, no matter how good her performance.

What do you think of Jennifer Aniston’s acting abilities? Do you think she should have been an Oscar contender?

  • Jennifer Aniston Pisses Off Daniel McDonald’s Widow

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Jennifer Aniston opened up about her relationship with the late actor Daniel McDonald. According to Aniston, “He was my first love — five years we were together. He would have been the one. But I was 25, and I was stupid. He must have sent me Justin [Theroux] to make up for it all.” Back in 2007, McDonald, a Broadway actor, passed away at age 46 after a long battle with brain cancer. Aniston’s revelation made headlines. And McDonald’s widow, Mujah Maraini-Melehi, was not pleased.

Maraini-Melehi released a statement to Inside Edition about the Jennifer Aniston interview. “Daniel and Jennifer had a relationship over 20 years ago, when they were both still very young. She made a life choice, but so did he,” she said in the statement. “I am sorry that Jennifer did not realize the treasure that was Daniel when she had the chance, long before he and I met and long before he died. It pains me to read the headlines that allude to her losing him tragically when in fact she was not present during his long and difficult illness.”

She added, “Perhaps Daniel’s gift was to teach her how to love, and to appreciate what she has with Justin Theroux. Those of us who knew Daniel well can assure you that he would not have approved of all this uninvited attention due to his past relationship to Jennifer. I lost my husband. My children lost their father.” Maraini-Melehi also claimed that after McDonald passed away, she contacted Aniston in hopes of returning some pictures from his time with the Hollywood actress. However, she said that she didn’t get a reply from Aniston.

It’s shaping up to be pretty bad week for Aniston. Aside from Maraini-Melehi’s jabs at her, Aniston also didn’t receive an Academy Award nomination for her role in Cake.

  • Jennifer Aniston and Her Ex-Husband’s Wife’s Ex-Husband

Jennifer Aniston turned heads, grabbed asses, pissed off Cumberbitches, and dropped the F-bomb during and after the Golden Globes. What she didn’t do was win an award herself. But Aniston may have walked away with a greater claim to fame for the evening.

After Billie Bob Thornton won the Golden Globe award for Best Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie, he was interviewed by Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. While accepting his award, Thornton had mused about how easy it is to get into trouble by saying almost anything at awards shows. So he simply said, “Thank You” and walked off stage,

But he opened up a bit more in the interview afterward.

Bush and Hoover engaged Thornton in a game of ‘Who Would You Rather.’ Hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey had jokingly done so together on stage earlier that evening. The interviewers asked:

“Who would you rather: Jennifer Aniston or Reese Witherspoon?”

“Jennifer Aniston. Lifelong goal, that’s all I’m saying,” Thornton responded quickly. Maybe too quickly.

    He was then asked another:

    Jennifer Aniston or Keira Knightley?

“Jennifer Aniston. How many times does it take to get this through your head?”

It did not take people long to point out that Jennifer Aniston’s ex is Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt is now married to Angelina Jolie. Angelina Jolie is Billie Bob’s ex.

You can just chew on that for a bit. Because if this were to ever actually come to pass, tabloid ink might run short for the first time in history.

Was Billie Bob saying that he thought Brad Pitt traded down? Was he making a little good-natured dig at ex Angelina with that “lifelong goal” remark?

Or did he even think about it at all?

Thornton was quick to interject that he was joking. Maybe that little voice that managed to make him shut up on stage before he went full Gervais popped back in the room and took over.

  • Jennifer Aniston: Billy Bob Thornton’s Ex-Wife-Swap Ambition

Jennifer Aniston used to be married to Brad Pitt. Remember that? Now Brad Pitt is married to Angelina Jolie. Angelina Jolie used to be married to Billy Bob Thornton. I know you remember that. That was weird. But it happened.

But what if Billy Bob Thornton ended up with Jennifer Aniston? Supermarket checkout lines around the country might catch fire with all the tabloid smoke.

This very notion was floated in a post-Golden Globes interview with Billy Bob Thornton. After Thornton won the Golden Globe award for Best Actor in a Miniseries or TV Movie, he came off to be interviewed by Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. While Thornton had famously said little while accepting his award, he opened up a bit in the interview. Which is where things did a brief fly-by on the weird.

Prodding Thornton to play a game of Who Would You Rather, after Amy Poehler and Tina Fey had jokingly done so on stage, the pair asked:

Who would you rather: Jennifer Aniston or Reese Witherspoon?

“Jennifer Aniston. Lifelong goal, that’s all I’m saying,” Thornton responded quickly. Whether he had thought the wife-swap ramifications through or not went unsaid.

    He was then asked another:

    Jennifer Aniston or Keira Knightley?

“Jennifer Aniston. How many times does it take to get this through your head?”

Of course, Aniston is quite tight with her beau Justin Theroux. She did do a bit of butt-grabbing at the Golden Globes, verbally sparred a bit with Benedict Cumberbatch, and dropped the f-bomb whilst hailing a cab after the ceremony.

Aniston did not win a Golden Globe for her role in Cake. The award instead went to Julianne Moore for Still Alice.

  • Jennifer Aniston’s ‘Cake’ Fails To Win Golden Globe Despite Steadfast Campaign

Jennifer Aniston has been getting rave reviews for her performance in the independent drama Cake. However, the critical acclaim was not enough to get her the Golden Globe award for “Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama”. Instead, Julianne Moore won the award for her role in Still Alice.

Aniston seems to be working hard to change the “girl next door” image she had when Friends was still on the air. In 2002, she appeared in the Miguel Arteta-directed drama The Good Girl alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

Despite acting in a string of comedies after the release of the The Good Girl, she’s been known to take far more edgy roles especially recently. In the comedies We’re The Millers and Horrible Bosses, she plays a stripper and a sex-crazed dentist respectively. For Cake, Aniston put on a few pounds and appeared without make-up (save for some prosthetic scars) to play Claire, a chronic pain survivor.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aniston deserves to win an award for her role. They wrote, “To put it quite simply, it didn’t feel like you were watching Jennifer Aniston on screen in just another role. It felt like you were being welcomed into Claire’s life, encompassed in this stranger’s dark, painful world.”

However, in an article for Slate, David Ehrlich criticized the film and blamed all the buzz it’s been getting on the Hollywood machine. For Ehrlich, Aniston’s nomination is simply because of her steadfast campaigning for the film, which could be true. After all, award-giving bodies have their fair share of politics.

And while the film might not be the critical darling everyone hoped it would be, it doesn’t change the fact that Aniston took a big risk in starring in taking on this role. And she did a pretty good job. That should still count for something.

Aniston seems to be taking it all in stride though, with fiancé Justin Theroux, staying by her side as they went to the post-Golden Globes after parties. Whether or not she wins an Oscar for the film remains to be seen, but at least she seems to be having a blast.

  • Jennifer Aniston One Of Many Who Couldn’t Stop Touching Kate Hudson’s Butt

Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson got cheeky with one another on the red carpet at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards, with Aniston grabbing a handful of Hudson’s backside as the two of them made the rounds to speak with reporters, and she wasn’t the only one inspired by Hudson’s shapely figure; Matthew McConaughey and Paul Rudd also reportedly reached out and gave her appreciative pats, as well.

Hudson, who models for her own Fabletics line of workout gear, wowed the crowd in a curve-hugging white Versace gown with diamond details along the sides and back and a plunging neckline that left little to the imagination. The petite star told Ryan Seacrest that she and Jen Aniston are “comfortable” with one another and didn’t appear put out at all when the Cake actress grabbed her butt and said, “Irresistible!”

Aniston appeared playful and in good spirits on the red carpet, saying she felt like a kid despite the pressures of the big night. Although she eventually lost the Best Actress in a Drama award to Julianne Moore, Aniston has been lauded for her portrayal of a woman who falls in love with a widower in Cake, a movie in which she wears no makeup and takes quite a turn from any role she’s played before. The character, Claire, suffers from chronic pain and ends up addicted to pain medication.

“For me, it was really important to stay true to what the medicine I was taking physically would be doing to my body and at what point. It turns out if you walk like that for five weeks, you do actually become in pain,” she said.

  • Jennifer Aniston Talks First Love, Now Dead

Jennifer Aniston opened up recently about someone she says was ‘her first love.’ Sadly, that person–who has thus far remained unnamed–is dead.

“He was my first love–five years we were together,” she said about her deceased ex. “He would have been the one. But I was 25, and I was stupid. He must have sent me Justin to make up for it all.”

Aniston shared during a recent interview with the New York Times, that this former love later died from a brain tumor.

The Justin that Aniston refers to is, of course, her fiance Justin Theroux. The two have been engaged since 2012, and despite constant rumors, have made no plans thus far for a wedding.

Jennifer Aniston has tried her hand at something brand new with regard to her acting career. The role she plays in Cake is unlike anything the former Friends star has done in her entire career. For the film about a chronic pain sufferer, the beautiful actress underwent a severe make-under, adding some weight and completely skipping makeup to play the struggling woman.

Aniston believes that this role will truly allow her to “take away the cloak of Rachel.” Rachel is, of course, the name of the character she played on Friends.

Is it possible that the preparation required to play this emotional role evoked memories of Jennifer Aniston’s lost love? This appears to be the first time word of this relationship has been shared with the media.

Do you expect this reminiscence of Jennifer Aniston’s first love will cause Justin Theroux to feel at all like he’s living in the shadow of a dead man? Will Jen and Justin ever tie the knot?
