  • Jaimie Alexander: “Blindspot” Star Now A Single Woman

Jaimie Alexander, the star of NBC’s hit show Blindspot, is now a single woman. She and fiance Peter Facinelli broke off their engagement of almost a year.

According to a report from Us Weekly, the former couple announced their split via a statement from a rep.

“Due to conflicting family and work commitments on opposite coasts, and after much consideration, Peter and Jaimie have chosen to part ways amicably and remain good friends,” the statement reads.

It was last March when Jaimie Alexander and Peter Facinelli became engaged. The two went public with their relationship just eight months after he divorced Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jennie Garth in 2012. Garth and Facinelli share three children.

Peter Facinelli and Jaimie Alexander both appeared on the TV show Nurse Jackie. He is known for his role as Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight film series.

Blindspot premiered on NBC in September 2015. Jaimie Alexander stars alongside Sullivan Stapleton. The show tells the story of a mysteriously tattooed woman who has no memory of who she is or when she received her tattoos. Each of the tattoos contains a clue to a crime the FBI must solve.

Fans can check out Jaimie Alexander when the second season of Blindspot premieres on NBC February 29.

Are you shocked to learn Jaimie Alexander is now a single woman? What do you think about her split from Peter Facinelli? It will be interesting to learn who one or both of them shows up with next.

  • Peter Facinelli and “Blindspot” Star Jaimie Alexander Break Their Engagement

Peter Facinelli–once married to actress Jennie Garth–and NBC’s Blindspot star Jaimie Alexander have broken their engagement. The two are citing living on opposite coasts as the reason behind their split.

In a statement to Us Weekly, the former couple announced the end of their relationship through a rep.

“Due to conflicting family and work commitments on opposite coasts, and after much consideration, Peter and Jaimie have chosen to part ways amicably and remain good friends,” the statement reads.

Jaimie Alexander and Peter Facinelli became engaged last March. She spent lengthy periods of time in New York City, filming Blindspot, while he remained in L.A.

The two went public with their relationship back in November of 2012, just a few months after Peter Facinelli ended his marriage to Jennie Garth. Facinelli and Garth have three children together.

Peter Facinelli is known for his role as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight series of vampire films. He and Jaimie Alexander appeared together on Nurse Jackie.

Are you surprised to learn of Peter Facinelli and Jaimie Alexander’s broken engagement? Do you think something more than the stress of a bicoastal relationship is in play here?

Jaimie Alexander will soon return to TV when the second season of Blindspot premieres on February 29.

  • Jason Priestly Upset by Tori Spelling Divulging Sex Secrets

Jason Priestly, best known for his role on Beverly Hills, 90210, isn’t happy with Tori Spelling’s recent claims that the two had sex.

Of course, he isn’t denying it took place, either.

It was during the Lifetime show, Tori Spelling: Celebrity Lie Detector on Saturday that the former True Tori star admitted to having sex with one of her former Beverly Hills, 90210 cast mates.

“Half my friends don’t even know this,” she said, dishing about having sex with Jason Priestly.

“It was a summer fling, it was off set, It was our version of, like, a summer romance, the 90210 version and that was it,” she said. “You know, we stayed great friends for the rest of the run, and beyond that, but yeah, we had that one summer fling.”

Jason Priestly was asked about whether or not Tori Spelling’s statement was true.

    “I’m not getting into this… It’s nobody’s business… Either way..,” he replied.

Jason Priestly isn’t the only person a bit peeved with Tori Spelling right now. Beverly Hills, 90210 cast mate Shannen Doherty is none too happy either. Tori Spelling dished about Shannen Doherty’s fist fight with Jennie Garth, as well as the actress’s diva-like behavior. She also talked about how the cast worked together to get Doherty fired.

It’s quite understandable that Jason Priestly and Shannen Doherty are upset with Tori Spelling right now. Some sleeping dogs should be left to lie, but Tori Spelling woke the up instead.

How do you think you would feel if you were Jason Priestly or Shannen Doherty?

  • Jennie Garth: Her Children ‘Are Her Wedding Party’ When She Marries David Abrams

Jennie Garth of 90210 fame announced in April that she and actor David Abrams are engaged. She made the announcement on the heels of celebrating her 43rd birthday on April 3rd.

“Dave had been working on this for months, and really wanted to plan something special for her around her birthday and make it perfect,” a source told People magazine about the marriage proposal.

During a recent interview with E!, Jennie Garth dishes on plans for her wedding, including just who will be in her wedding party.

She was asked if the children she shares with ex-husband Peter Facinelli of Twilight fame–Luca, 17, Lola, 12, and Fiona, eight–will be part of that wedding party.

“Yes, they are my wedding party. Period,” came Jennie Garth’s reply.

She went on to share a few–but very few–details about her dress.

“I’m working with a really amazing designer, I’m so excited,” she said.

This will be the third trip down the aisle for Jennie Garth. Prior to her marriage to Peter Facinelli–which lasted for 12 years–she was married to Daniel Clark for two years. She and Peter Facinelli share custody of their three daughters.

Known for being a big do-it-yourselfer, Jennie Garth was asked if she plans to DIY her wedding.

“Yes, definitely,” she replied. “I’m so excited to have a project because I finished building the house and now I need something to do so I’m excited to sort of be my own wedding coordinator—make a lot of stuff myself and hopefully it turns out good.”

If you missed out on The Jennie Garth Project on HGTV, you must check out the episodes–all of which are available online. You’ll see the kind of DIY work Jennie Garth is capable of completing.

How exciting for Jennie Garth that she has this wedding to plan, and that her three daughters will comprise her entire wedding party.

Don’t you hope that lots of her DIY wedding projects find their way online?

  • Jennie Garth Announces Engagement Shortly After Ex-Husbad Peter Facinelli’s Engagement Announcement

Jennie Garth of Beverly Hills, 90210 fame is engaged. The actress confirmed her engagement to David Abrams, her boyfriend of just a few months, earlier this week. Coincidentally (or not?), Garth’s engagement comes on the heels of her ex-husband, Twilight star Peter Facinelli’s announcement of his engagement to Jaimie Alexander.

Us Weekly confirmed back in January that Jennie Garth and Peter Abrams were dating. At that point the couple had enjoyed the holidays together, and Jennie Garth had introduced him to her family.

David Abrams tweeted very special birthday wishes that professed his love for Jennie Garth just days before their engagement announcement.

The couple–along with Jennie Garth’s three daughters–Luca, 17, Lola, 12, and Fiona, eight–spent her birthday in Mexico at the Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa.

Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli were married for 11 years. He has been dating Jaimie Alexander since November of 2012.

Do you think Jennie Garth’s engagement announcement so soon after that of Peter Facinelli is merely coincidental, or did Garth want to prove to Facinelli that he’s not the only one to move on? She had a very difficult time following their split, but he moved on very quickly–causing some to speculate if he had moved on prior to their divorce.

Either way, congratulations are in order for both Jennie Garth and David Abrams, as well as for Peter Facinelli and Jaimie Alexander. May they all find happier lives in their upcoming marriages.

  • Jennie Garth And Tori Spelling Team Up Again

Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling both starred in the television show 90210 in the 90’s. Jennie played the character of Kelly and Tori played Donna.

The actresses are now working together again on the television show Mystery Girls. The show Mystery Girls is about former co-stars of a hit ’90s detective TV show of the same name. They’ve gone their separate ways, until a crime occurs, and the witness will only talk to them. The girls then open a detective agency and start solving crimes on their own.

While the story line of Mystery Girls is completely different than that of 90210, Jennie says that Tori is just as funny and fun to work with as ever.

“I feel safe doing some, like, goofy, crazy face and voice because it’s my friend. I know she’s gonna be there to support my efforts,” explained Spelling in a recent interview.

“She knows I love it,” added Garth, who readily admits she’s the first to break character in a scene.

Jennie and Tori don’t only act on the show, they are also both executive producers. Tori claims that she enjoys getting to be a part of the little things that makes the show so great.

They both claim that they rarely disagree on things that pertain the show but when they do, Jennie lets Tori have the final say because the show was her idea.

Spelling said that it was always her dream to do a comedy sitcom and is something she enjoys very much.

“I did the best I could on ‘90210.’ Like I tried to make Donna funny. I was in a drama. Everyone else was great at drama, but I was like, ‘I think I’m better at comedy so how can I interject comedy here and there?’ and so Donna was kind of goofy, and I did things here and there, but I was always, this is harder for me. I wish I could do comedy,” Spelling said.

  • Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling Throw In “90210” References On Show

Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling have reunited for their new show Mystery Girls, and fans of Beverly Hills, 90210 will be happy to know that the duo have planned out some references to the show on the new sitcom.

Spelling wrote the script herself and pitched the idea to ABC Family as “Ab Fab meets Scooby Doo“. According to the show’s synopsis:

Charlie Contour (Garth) is a suburban housewife and mother, while Holly Hamilton (Spelling) longs for her glory days in the 90s when she was on television. Both of their lives are disrupted when Nick (Miguel Pinzon), a witness to a crime and a Mystery Girls fanatic, will only speak to the infamous duo and the former friends must reunite and put their TV crime-solving skills to the test.”

Despite losing 40% of their audience after the pilot aired, the ladies seem to be having a great time on set with each other.

“I feel safe doing some, like, goofy, crazy face and voice because it’s my friend. I know she’s gonna be there to support my efforts,” Spelling said.

Spelling says the idea came about due to her love of older shows that featured women solving crimes together, and if it came naturally, there’s a good reason for it; her father, Aaron Spelling, was the name behind many of the most popular television shows on the air in the ’70s and ’80s.

“I loved Remington Steele, and Moonlighting, Hart to Hart, Charlie’s Angels—women solving crimes. I had never really seen it done in a sitcom. I thought that would be really fun,” she said.

Both actresses say they still have fans come up to them asking about their old show, so it was a no-brainer to involve references from the hit ’90s nighttime soap in their new project.

“There’s one episode that is a direct tribute to a very famous episode of 90210 that we’re doing later in the season. So yeah, we always try to get our little 90210 references in because fans love it,” Spelling said.

  • Jason Priestley Dishes on Brad Pitt, Shannon Doherty

In a new memoir by Jason Priestley, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star recounts his years as a teen idol and the pitfalls of Hollywood superstardom.

Priestley and costars Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, and Luke Perry became instant megastars with the success of the 1990s Aaron Spelling prime time soap, and the 44-year-old actor spilled the beans on his famous friends and their experiences in his upcoming book, Jason Priestley: A Memoir, due out May 6.

Priestley reminded fans in his book that Priestley’s on-screen sister Doherty had a reputation for being a bad girl on set. Doherty wouldn’t be shocked at the revelation since she has admitted it herself.

Although she’s friends with Priestley and many of her costars now, Priestly remembers an incident that didn’t make the best impression back in 1990. FOX executives apparently sent a private jet to whisk Priestly and Doherty off to New York City for a meeting with advertisers and little Miss Thing had a few things to say about the accommodations.

“I could not believe my ears at Shannen’s very first words after she boarded,” Priestley recalls in his book. “Her butt had barely hit her seat before she said loudly to the PR person, ‘Really? A town car? You send a town car to take me to the airport, not a limo?’ She sighed a very put-upon sigh. I laughed, as I couldn’t really tell if Shannen was kidding or not.”

“But that was just the beginning. I looked on, becoming more uneasy by the minute as she began bitching about the short notice and the food on board and the temperature in the cabin and everything else,” he added.

Priestley also recounts his experiences as Brad Pitt‘s roommate when the budding stars shared an apartment in L.A. back in 1987.

“Just for fun, we used to have competitions over who could go the longest without showering and shaving,” Priestley writes. “Brad always won. Having to go on an audition meant cleaning up, which is what usually put an end to the streak.”

  • Jennie Garth: Refused to Wait in Line? Or Victim of Racism?

Jennie Garth was refused entry to a club Monday night, but accounts differ on the reasons why.

TMZ broke the story by posting the headline “SHE PLAYED THE ‘DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM’ CARD”. Their version of events goes like this: Garth and her friends show up to the nightclub, they refuse to stand in line, and they storm out. TMZ quoted a photographer at the scene who claims Garth said “I’m 40 years old, I have 3 kids, I’ve been in the business for years.” According to the photographer, who also took a picture of the actress giving the middle finger, they weren’t let in because they did not stand in line. According to Jennie and her group, it’s because three of her friends were African American men.

The club sides with the photographer in the matter. The club released a statement to TMZ stating: “DBA has a very strict door policy and Ms. Garth and her entire group of friends were asked to wait in line for entry along with everyone else. The group chose not to do so and left.”

Garth made a statement of her own over Twitter:

Many of her followers were confused:

But after the story began to pick up mileage, fan reactions varied from supportive:

    To judgmental:

    And vindictive against the judgmental:

  • Jennie Garth Talks Old Beef With Shannen Doherty

While making her promotional rounds for her new book Deep Thoughts From A Hollywood Blonde, actress Jennie Garth sat down with the E! Channel’s Catt Sadler and Terrence J about her early days in the TV business and her old beef with 90210 co-star Shannen Doherty.

Garth said the feuds with Doherty had more to do with spending a lot of time together at work, and it wasn’t because the two really had a huge problem with each other.

“We were locked in this sound stage for 14-16 hours everyday,” she said, recalling her time on the 90s Fox hit Beverly Hills 90210.

“There were times when we loved each other and there were times when we wanted to claw each other’s eyes out.”

Plus, both actresses were much younger, she said, which had a lot to do with the arguments they had during the show. “It was more of just young girls finding their way and finding their individual voices,” said Garth.

And both of them being the same zodiac sign didn’t help either, she said.

“Shannen and I are both Aries women. We’re both very strong, independent women, so we butt heads a lot. Now, as grown women, we happen to get along well.”

The 41 year old also talked about being famous at a very young age and how she had difficulty coping with it, and during the peak of 90210, Garth said it was hard for her to face her fans or be outside in public. The blonde beauty also said that she didn’t have the best support system around her during the show’s heyday.

“[In the book] I talk about my early stardom and being sort of catapulted into that as a teenager and not really having the instruction booklet to deal with that, not knowing what I was doing,” said Garth.

“I was kind of alone on that journey. I didn’t have a lot of support around me, so I had to figure that out as I went. I think I kind of managed it pretty well. I ended up pretty good. I didn’t get too lost along the way.”

  • Jennie Garth Opens Up About Divorce In New Memoir

Jennie Garth has spoken a few times about her split from husband Peter Facinelli since they publicly announced it two years ago, but in her new memoir, she gets into more detail about what caused the rift between them.

In “Deep Thoughts From A Hollywood Blonde”, Garth talks about how she felt when Facinelli was away from home working on movies and why his absence played such a big role in their divorce.

“My husband was away a lot then, working across the country on location on a film that he’d written, was producing, and was starring in,” she writes. “I was thrilled for him that he was taking his career to the next level, but I was also, I can see now, feeling a bit resentful and itchy in ways that I couldn’t quite identify. … All I know is that I felt like I was waiting: for him to come home, waiting for him to be free to join me in the day-to-day of our family life, waiting for the next job to be lined up that would take him far away from us again.”

Soon after their separation was announced, Garth showed up for an appearance at “Fox & Friends” looking very thin and not in the best of health, which had fans and friends alarmed. The impending divorce had taken a toll on her, and she writes in her memoir that realizing her husband was no longer in love with her was devastating.

“I’d say that I didn’t even allow myself to entertain the idea that my husband may have reached the end of his rope, too. I understand, now, how frustrated he was at how unreachable I’d become…I was devastated by the news that he was no longer in love with me.”

The couple shares three daughters and have said that their top priority is making sure they are taken care of. But the fact that they have known each other since they were very young has made things even harder.

“It’s unfortunate,” Garth told Jay Leno in 2012. “It happens to the best of us. It’s something that has been really tough, for sure. My husband and I, we grew up together, so we are very important people to each other.”

  • Jennie Garth Opens Up About Tell-All Book

Jennie Garth Opens Up About Tell-All Book

On Wednesday, Jennie Garth stopped by Good Morning America to discuss her new tell-all book Deep Thoughts From a Hollywood Blonde.

The former Beverly Hills 90210 star revealed a lot of personal details in her new book, including how she handled her divorce from her husband, of 11 years, Peter Facinelli.

GMA’s Lara Spencer asked Garth why she wanted to open up about her life now, to which Garth replied, “It was something I hadn’t done and I wanted to take the challenge.”

“You’re so open and honest in the book, you talk about your split from your now ex-husband, you talk about your dad’s passing,” Spencer said. “Hard for you to let go, or cathartic?”

“In some ways cathartic and very eye-opening for myself in a good way to sort of take a look and see how my life has progressed,” Garth explained. “All the things that have sort of happened and how they’ve molded me into the person that I am today.”

As for her time spent on 90210, Garth says that she had a great time and great experiences. She explains that many of her cast mates became like brothers and sisters, including her love interest on the show Luke Perry.

“We had a great time, what an experience,” Garth said. “I wouldn’t trade it for the world. But in some ways I missed out on a lot things, but in a lot of ways I was very lucky. Some of us really are like brothers and sisters,” Garth continued. “And we’re always there for each other. Very close.”

When Garth finalized her divorce last year, rumors started circulating that she and Perry were an item. Fans remained hopeful that their favorite couple would finally live happily ever after. However, Garth reveals that he is simply “like a brother” to her. “It’s just Kelly and Dylan, people just have this image in their mind,” she explained. “Our fans are so loyal from that show, and we’re so grateful.”

  • Emily Osment To Star On ABC Family Comedy

After taking some time off to focus solely on her music career, Emily Osment is making her way back to television. No, the 21-year-old won’t be returning to the Disney Channel, however ABC Family has recently picked up Young and Hungry in which Osment stars, and another former Disney Channel star Ashley Tisdale produces.

ABC Family’s official website gives all the details about the new show, and what you can expect to see from Osment’s character. “Young and Hungry stars Emily Osment as a food blogger named Gabi. When Gabi inadvertently gets selected to prepare a meal for a tech guru named Josh (Jonathan Sadowski) she finds herself with an opportunity for a new job and possibly a new love. • Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth Pairing Up For New Show

Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth spent a good chunk of their teen years together on “Beverly Hills 90210”, dealing with all the drama and heartache that can befall a high school student. Now, they’re teaming up once more for a new ABC Family show called “Mystery Girls”.

According to Yahoo, the show “follows two former detective TV show starlets brought back together by a real-life mystery. Charlie Contour (Garth) is a suburban housewife and mother, while Holly Hamilton (Spelling) longs for her glory days in the 90’s when she was on television. Both of their lives are disrupted when Nick (Pinzon), a witness to a crime and a ‘Mystery Girls’ fanatic, will only speak to the infamous duo, and the former friends must reunite and put their TV crime-solving skills to the test.”

The show is being picked up along with a pilot starring Emily Osment called “Young and Hungry”.

“Viewers are excited to see Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth back on television together again, and will fall in love with Young & Hungry star Emily Osment in these comedies that bring us fun, new characters with which to laugh out loud,” said ABC Family’s Chief Creative Officer Kate Juergens.

The news of a show couldn’t come at a better time for Spelling, who said recently that her family is dealing with a few money troubles after their reality show was canceled. Spelling spent several weeks in the hospital last year after giving birth to her fourth child, when complications from a C-section forced her to be on bed rest.

  • Jennie Garth Goes Goth At NY Fashion Week

Jennie Garth made a surprise appearance at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday, closing out Aerin O’Connell’s Intrepid by AOC show with a strut down the catwalk in dark shades of makeup for fall.

“Totally foreign, not my world,” she said about the modeling gig. “I felt nervous for the designer of this dress, I wanted to do well for her and have success for the line. I just met her today and she’s a really nice lady and I want her to do well.”

Garth donned a long-sleeved mini-dress in shades of grey and white that showed off her long legs, and paired it with dark fall colors for the face. While it was a very different look for the sunny blonde mom of three, she said she enjoyed the look.

“I love the eyes and the slightly tousled hair,” she said.

Garth has moved on from her painful divorce from “Twilight” actor Peter Facinelli, although during the split she had friends and fans worried about her; when she made an appearance on “Fox And Friends” last August, social media sites blew up with talk of how thin and “unwell” she looked. She has spoken a bit about the divorce, however, and says that she and Facinelli are working on raising their children together as best they can.

“It’s unfortunate,” Garth told Jay Leno. “It happens to the best of us. It’s something that has been really tough, for sure. My husband and I, we grew up together, so we are very important people to each other.”

  • Jennie Garth: All a-Twitter Over New Beau Shimbo

Jennie Garth—probably still best known for her Beverly Hills, 90210 alum status—is capturing entertainment gossip headlines again over her new beau, Michael Shimbo. In a line right out of a teen drama, the couple is, “going steady,” a source says. Shimbo’s claim to fame is his position as CEO of the internet company that runs the PlanesTrains+Automobiles travel channel—in your internet searches, you’ll likely be redirected to fan pages of the similarly-named 1987 Steve Martin, John Candy buddy film.

Frequently posting photos on Twitter and Instagram of her time with Shimbo, Garth reportedly introduced him to Shannen Doherty, fellow 90210 grad, during a double date at Nobu (Shimbo on the far left). Reporters say the star couldn’t be happier. Not shy of publicity, Shimbo and Garth were seen at the Comedy Central roast of James Franco in late August. Garth Tweets a Shimbo quote over wine, “I love a good buttery Chardonnay,” pithy.

Garth and ex, Peter Facinelli, have three daughters from their 11-year marriage, which ended in early 2012; the divorce was finalized in June. They met in 1995 on the set of An Unfinished Affair. Since their split, the couple sold their home in the Los Angeles enclave of Toluca Lake to co-creator of The Big Bang Theory, Bill Prady.

Earlier forays into the dating pool for Garth included Jeremy Salken, drummer for the group Big Gigantic, healthcare exec Jason Clark, Design Star Antonio Ballatore and photographer Noah Abrams. Garth was also previously married to musician Daniel Clark, whom she divorced in 1996.

Dating since November 2012, Facinelli and girlfriend Jaimie Alexander have caught their share of press, too. They were seen in Cancun, Mexico, during a late August getaway with Garth and Facinelli’s daughters. Alexander costarred with Facinelli on Nurse Jackie.

The affectionate dating mom also posted pictures celebrating the end of summer with girls Luca (16), Lola (10) and Fiona (6) and the ladies were caught crafting in a US Weekly feature.

  • Jennie Garth Sells Home for $3.99 Million

Jennie Garth Sells Home for $3.99 Million

Jennie Garth has sold her Toluca Lake home that she shared with her ex-husband, Peter Facinelli.

Although they did not receive their asking price, they still were able to sell the home for a whopping $3.99 million, 2 million less then they originally asked. The home now belongs to the “Big Bang Theory’s” co-creator, Bill Prady.

Garth and Facinelli purchased the home in 2003 for $1.35 million. The house was built in 1937 and was previously owned by country singer Tex Ritter and then by his son John Ritter. The luxurious mansion features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a total living space of 8,500 square feet. There is also a pool, playground, outdoor kitchen, a five-car garage, and many other amenities.

    (image)

41-year-old Garth was made famous by her role as Kelly on “Beverly Hills 90210” in the early 90s. She then came back to her role on the new series “90210” and she also starred on the television comedy, “What I Like About You”.

Garth and Facinelli filed for divorce in 2012. They have remained civil with each other for the sake of their three children, Luca, 15, Lola, 10 and Fiona. They share joint custody of the three children.

During the divorce, the couple made it clear that they would be raising their children together. ”While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.”

Hollywoodlife.com first reported the break up in March 2012. They explained the reason for the split in their article: “Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth’s marriage has been rocky for nearly a year, so their decision to finally divorce didn’t come as a shock to their family and friends. However, HollywoodLife.com can tell you exclusively what drove them apart — and it wasn’t an outside affair or money. It was Peter’s career.”

Jennie Garth, best known for her roles on “Beverly Hills, 90310” (the original) and “What I like About You”, went through a very painful and public divorce earlier this year from “Twilight” actor Peter Facinelli, and now that she’s single again, rumors are flying about who she might be dating.

Garth had some fun with Antonio Ballatore and photographer Noah Abrams this summer, but it looks like now she’s moved on to Jason Clark, the director of healthcare solutions at Jones Lang Lasalle in L.A. The two were spotted out on a date over the weekend, sparking talk about her new guy and curiosity as to who he is.

Garth spoke about her newly single life back in August, when she basically said she’s enjoying a newfound freedom.

“I always said I would rather lick a dirty floor than go back to dating,” she said. “Dating is very new for me. I have training wheels on right now, because I was married for so long. That’s my whole adult life, basically. I think I’m actually going back into adult adolescence. I’m having a moment.”

More recently, she said she was taking some time to focus on herself for a change.

“Maintaining is just about consistency now,” she said. “Being so happy and feeling so good about the way I feel and the way I look, I don’t want to lose that, so it’s about penciling me in every day to my life.”

  • Amanda Bynes’ Former Co-star Wants To Help Her

Amanda Bynes has been in the news quite a bit recently, owing to several auto-related incidents–hit-and-runs, alleged drunk driving, driving on a suspended license, and arrests–and a former co-star says she’s tried reaching out to the young actress to no avail.

Jennie Garth, who recently went through a very public divorce from “Twilight” star Peter Facinelli, says she has tried to contact Bynes and has been unable to reach her.

“I tried reaching out to her and I haven’t been able to reach her,” said Garth. “My heart feels for whatever she is going through and I love her dearly.”

There have been strange stories circulating around L.A. about Bynes’ behavior lately, including one where she locked herself in the bathroom of a trendy bakery for an hour, sending the owners into a panic thinking she had overdosed or worse, and then emerged calmly and explained she had been doing her makeup. Her car was impounded after a judge decided that taking away her license wasn’t enough to stop her from careening around town–it wasn’t–and it was reported that the remnants of drugs and a pipe were found in her car.

As for the actress herself, she claims she doesn’t drink and was falsely arrested for D.U.I. She even took to Twitter to ask President Obama to fire the officer who arrested her.

  • Jennie Garth Dating Even Though She’d “Rather Lick A Dirty Floor”

Jennie Garth is dating again, despite having said that she would rather do some disgusting things than jump back in the dating pool again.

“I always said I would rather lick a dirty floor than go back to dating,” she said. “Dating is very new for me. I have training wheels on right now, because I was married for so long. That’s my whole adult life, basically. I think I’m actually going back into adult adolescence. I’m having a moment.”

Garth was referring to her longtime relationship with recent ex Peter Facinelli, but it seems she’s found someone she has fun with, and for right now that’s all she cares about. Friends say she’s not looking to get into anything serious too quickly and is instead enjoying some healing time after a rough divorce.

Her new friend is celebrity photographer Noah Abrams, who’s shot everyone from the Foo Fighters to Hayden Panettiere. He seems like a laid back guy and is fascinated with surf and skateboard culture, which he’s photographed extensively.

One interesting tidbit about Abrams is that he’s good friends with The Black Keys and is filming a documentary about them; he says he’d love to make them the stars of “a buddy comedy with perhaps the greatest soundtrack of all time,” he says, adding, “I’m fortunate enough to know both these guys pretty well and their relationship is pretty incredible and very funny.”
