  • Alyssa Milano and Hubby Expecting Second Child

Alyssa Milano and her husband David Bugliari are expecting their second child together. Their first son Milo is 2. It wasn’t too long ago that the Mistresses actress spoke with Access Hollywood and admitted that they had high hopes for having a second child, and that they were actively pursuing that hope.

“We are actively trying,” she said at the time.

The Who’s the Boss child star married David Bugliari in 2009. Following son Milo’s birth, she was the butt of an unkind comment about her post-pregnancy shape made by actor and comedian Jay Mohr.

“She was one of the presenters… She’s very tiny,” he said. “It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don’t really give a s**t’ … I read it on her gut … Somebody sat in the director’s chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ.’”

    Milano responded without disdain, however.

“I just think he was trying to make a joke and not think about it, but I heard it actually on Christmas Day and it hurt me, I was affected by it and I wanted to remind him that I’m a human being and that this hurts,” she said.

Alyssa Milano looked phenomenal following Milo’s birth. Women everywhere would have been thrilled to have her “I don’t really give a s**t” body. Her focus is on far more important things, however, which now include the coming of a second child.

Milano also shared her exciting news on her own website.

“We are so happy to share with you that Milo is going to be a big brother,” she wrote.

Congratulations are definitely in order for Alyssa Milano and David Bugliari. A due date for baby number two has yet to be shared with the media.

  • Alyssa Milano Speaks Up About Jay Mohr’s Comments

Alyssa Milano recently took to Twitter to address some comments actor Jay Mohr made about her body, and after some backlash ensued and Mohr apologized, Milano accepted the apology and spoke about the incident in an interview.

Mohr made the comments during a radio interview after the pair attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards in December, saying she’d forgotten to wear her Spanx.

“She’s very tiny, in height…It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don’t really give a s–t’…I read it on her gut,” Mohr said in a radio interview. “Somebody sat in the director’s chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ.’”

Milano addressed the comments on Twitter, writing, “So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife.” Later, Mohr responded with an apology, calling the actress “stunning”.

“She’s stunning,” Mohr tweeted. “I mistakenly thought the absurdity of what I was saying would have ben taken as a joke. #fail”

Milano accepted the apology, but says she wanted to remind Mohr that his comments were aimed at a human being and they had the power to hurt.

“Well, he made a comment that was not so nice about my weight and I called him out on Twitter about it. I just think he was trying to make a joke and not think about it,” Milano said. “I heard it actually on Christmas Day and it hurt me, I was affected by it and I wanted to remind him that I’m a human being and that this hurts.”

As far as how society treats women about their bodies, Milano says it’s just not fair, especially to a woman who recently had a child.

“I think it’s an interesting statement about where we are socially that people feel that they can sort of rip a woman’s body apart after having a baby,” she said. “I don’t think it’s fair.”

  • Alyssa Milano Accepts Jay Mohr’s Apology

It looks like the back-and-forth between Alyssa Milano and Jay Mohr has finally come to an end, now that Milano accepted the comedian’s apology.

“Thank you. Apology accepted,” Tweeted the actress, after Mohr said he didn’t know that his joke about Milano’s weight would be received so negatively. “I mistakenly thought the absurdity of what I was saying would have been taken as a joke,” he wrote.

He later gave a longer apology on his website. “It wasn’t funny,” he said. “Knowing that Alyssa, as well as her family, friends, fans and especially her husband, heard things that were hurtful from my mouth crushed me. She has always been one of the kindest, most caring and beautiful people this town has ever seen.”

Apparently, Mohr’s wife has also been the victim of negative comments from the media and other folks, so he should have known better, he said.

“I know full well how much words can hurt people, having seen my wife get destroyed by the tabloids,” said the 43-year old, who’s also one of the stars in the up and coming movie “Dumbbells.” “I am embarrassed that I didn’t think before I spoke. Alyssa is an extraordinarily beautiful person, both inside and out.”

The apology comes after Mohr said some cruel remarks about Milano’s weight, when both attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards in Las Vegas. “She’s very tiny. In height,” he said. “It seems like she had a baby and said ‘I don’t really give a s—, I read it on her gut.”

From there, the “Mistresses” star decided not to retaliate in a mean way, however, she did respond through her Twitter account. “So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife. You’re all lovely,” she wrote. Now that’s classy, don’t you think?

  • Jay Mohr Tweets Apology To Alyssa Milano For Bad Joke

Jay Mohr received some backlash this week after some comments he made during an interview about actress Alyssa Milano went viral. Now, he’s apologized for his joke fail via Twitter.

Mohr and Milano both showed up at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards gala last month, after which Mohr said in a radio interview that the actress had forgotten to wear her Spanx.

Milano, who had a son in 2011, took to Twitter to call Mohr out in the classiest way, wishing him well in the process. Her fans backed her up on the site, coming to her defense, and a few celebrities got into the mix as well.

“So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife,” she wrote.

Milano’s former “Charmed” costar, Rose McGowan, tweeted in her friend’s defense, “What?! Do I need to kick someone’s ass?” Actress Olivia Munn said, “You are gorgeous @Alyssa_Milano & ur baby is ridiculously cute. In other news @jaymohr37 looks like a foot.”

After the backlash, Mohr issued an apology via Twitter through celebrity blogger Hilton Perez, saying, “@perezhilton @alyssa_milano She’s stunning,” Mohr tweeted. “I mistakenly thought the absurdity of what I was saying would have ben taken as a joke. #fail”

  • Alyssa Milano Responds To Jay Mohr’s Insensitive Remarks

Alyssa Milano is well-known for her beauty; as a child actress, she was the inspiration for Ariel in Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”. As a teen, she was on magazine covers every week as the girl we all wanted to either be or make out with. At 41, she’s still insanely gorgeous, but actor and comedian Jay Mohr apparently felt otherwise when they both attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards gala last month.

Milano took to Twitter to respond and ended up receiving some kind words from her fans.

Mohr has not responded, but he’s not the first person to criticize a celebrity’s appearance; Ashley Judd wrote a wonderful piece on it last year after she was accused of having had plastic surgery.

  • Alyssa Milano and Jay Mohr Have A Spat

As 2014 is just starting to get underway, it seems the public has just got a front row seat in the spat between Alyssa Milano, from “Who’s the Boss” fame and actor and comedian Jay Mohr. After the two attended the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards in Las Vegas, Mohr felt the need to comment on Milano’s possible weight gain. She gave birth to her son Milo Bugliari in August of 2011.

During the event, Mohr didn’t pull any punches when referring to Milano and said he could tell the 41-year old recently gave birth. “She was one of the presenters, “he said. “She’s very tiny, in height. It seems like she had a baby and said ‘I don’t really give a s—, I read it on her gut.” The story was first reported by the Daily News.

Then Mohr went a step further. “Somebody sat in the director’s chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ,’ ” he said.

And if you thought Milano came back swinging with a nasty comment of her own, you’d be mistaken, as the New York native took the highest road possible, even taking the time out to compliment Mohr and his family.

“So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife,” she Tweeted. “You’re all lovely. Thank you for your kind words. #Appreciative.”

Of course the Tweet could have been sarcastic, but either way, it seemed that it left Mohr powerless, since only the absolute cruel-at-heart would say something else mean after a Tweet like that. And here’s the thing, Milano actually looked great, whether she gave birth or not, so it’s unclear what Mohr was actually seeing.

On the event’s red carpet, the stunning actress wore a fitted red dress that walked the line of classy and sexy, and there were no signs of her being overweight at all. And even if there was, is it Mohr’s place to call her out? Most folks would probably say no.
