  • Isla Fisher Expecting Baby #3 With Sacha Baron Cohen

Isla Fisher and husband Sacha Baron Cohen are expecting their third child together.

The Great Gatsby star and her husband, of Borat fame, are already parents to Elula, who is four, and Olive, who will be seven this month.

Isla Fisher, 38, and Sacha Baron Cohen, 42, were married in Paris in 2010 and have enjoyed being parents to their two girls.

“I took three years off,” Fisher said of life as a mom. “It’s not like you’re taking a break and looking on IMDbPro to see your StarMeter falling. You’re doing the most important, incredible thing.”

“When you come back in, the perspective has changed. I truly believe you can’t have it all and you shouldn’t want to.”

She added, “In [the kids’ book] Pinkalicious the mum goes, ‘You get what you get and you don’t get upset.’ It’s written for toddlers, but I just love that expression. It’s kind of my catchphrase when it comes to the business.”

Everyone should live by that motto.

She said of motherhood in 2013, “It’s a myth that you can have it all. You can’t. But, more importantly, I don’t think you should want to. It sounds exhausting!”

When she started working again after becoming a mother, it didn’t all come up roses. She found it difficult to wear two hats and be effective at both.

“I’m just dipping my toe back into work now. It’s a juggling act and I’m not particularly good at it; the balls are in the air. But my priority is always my family. Motherhood boils everything down to the essentials.”

Time will tell how even that will change when juggling work with three kids!

Congratulations to Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen on their latest collaboration!

  • Isla Fisher, Sacha Baron Cohen Expecting Third Child

Isla Fisher and her husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, are reportedly expecting their third child together, according to Us Weekly.

The baby will join big sister, Olive, six, and Elula, who turns five this month.

The 38-year-old Wedding Crashers actress has said that her children occupy her thoughts 24/7.

“Even when you don’t take your kids with you, your mind and heart are busy with them,” she told Gotham magazine last summer.

“Family is 100 percent my top priority. So I’m much more comfortable doing supporting roles right now. And often,” she told The Telegraph in July 2013.

Fisher has said she does not regret choosing motherhood over her career after the birth of her daughters.

“I took three years off,” she said. “It’s not like you’re taking a break and looking on IMDbPro to see your StarMeter falling. You’re doing the most important, incredible thing. When you come back in, the perspective has changed. I truly believe you can’t have it all and you shouldn’t want to.”

Fisher reiterated her beliefs about motherhood in a 2013 interview with Cosmopolitan U.K.

“It’s a myth that you can have it all. You can’t. But more importantly, I don’t think you should want to. It sounds exhausting!”

The star doesn’t sugarcoat the difficulties that arise when trying to balance life as a mom and an actress.

“I’m just dipping my toe back into work now. It’s a juggling act and I’m not particularly good at it; the balls are in the air,” she said. “But my priority is always my family. Motherhood boils everything down to the essentials.”

  • Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen Expecting Baby #3

Isla Fisher was spotted in London sporting a sizable baby bump this week–meaning she and hubby Sacha Baron Cohen are expecting their third baby. The two have been married since 2010 and are the parents of two daughters thus far. Olive is six and Eula is four. Might the third time be that proverbial charm if the couple is hoping for a baby boy?

Us Weekly reports that Isla Fisher has pulled out of her upcoming film role in Now You See Me 2 because of her pregnancy.

“Production starts in November and she knew she wouldn’t be able to do it,” the source told the publication, adding, “She’s about three months along.”

Despite their careers, Sacha Baron Cohen and The Great Gatsby star are said to be quite private about their personal lives. Isla Fisher did share her feelings about her family during an interview from just over a year ago.

“Family is 100 percent my top priority. So I’m much more comfortable doing supporting roles right now. And often,” she told The Telegraph in July 2013. “They’re the most interesting,” the star reasoned. “You get to be a character actress.”

She talked about her two previous pregnancies during an interview with Fitness magazine in 2013, too.

“I gained 65 pounds with my first baby and 70 with my second,” she shared. “I had severe morning sickness both times, so I mostly ate supersize bowls of white pasta with loads of butter and cheese because that was the only thing that took away the nausea.”

Even though Isla Fisher lost a great deal of her pregnancy weight by doing yoga, she realizes her stomach will never be completely flat–and that doesn’t seem to bother her in the least.

“Even though it will never be flat again, it’s still my favorite because it reminds me of my greatest achievement: my babies,” she said.

What an amazing attitude Fisher has. Too bad moms everywhere couldn’t adopt her philosophy–and concentrate more on the gift their bodies gave them instead of how badly they want their bodies to resemble those on magazine covers.

Congratulations to Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher on the soon-to-be new member of their family.
