  • Meghan Trainor Sings To Her Future Husband At iHeart Radio Music Awards

Ahoy, future husband to Mehgan Trainor! Did you catch her awesomely fun performance at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday night?

The 21-year-old pop star sashayed on stage with her third hit single “Dear Future Husband,” off of her 2015 debut album, Title. The curvy singer performed her piece confidently in a ’50s pinup girl-inspired, figure-hugging sailor outfit, which wass glittered and studded with buttons and beads. Trainor looked amazing in white beaded bustier, which she matched with a white long-sleeved bolero with gold embellishments, and black high-waited skirt. She also donned a white, glittered-covered captain’s hat and danced in the middle of sailor studs wearing red suspenders, straw hats and Bermuda short pants.

Trainor has just returned from performing at the Echo Awards in Berlin, Germany on Thursday where she was joined by her older brother Ryan. In a recent interview with Liz Jones for You Magazine, Trainor reminisced about her childhood in Nantucket, Massachusetts.

“'[We were] chubby children. My parents loved us so much – we’re very close – they gave us whatever snacks we wanted,’ she said. “We would go to the pool, we were very active, but we were still just chubby. Then my little brother grew up tall and skinny, so that was a hard thing for me and my other brother.’

But Trainor remains true to her “All About That Bass” persona as she gears up to launch her own full-figured fashion partnership with FullBeauty Brands. According to press release, her partnership with FullBeaty centers on the brand’s ‘commitment to promoting, inspiring and empowering all women to fully love who they are and how they look’.

The singing sensation has also recently recorded an acoustic duet with Harry Styles entitled, “Someday Maybe”

Trainor will be touring across America with The MTrain starting July 3 until September 2015.

  • Jessica Biel Will Soon Deliver Justin Timberlake’s ‘Greatest Gift Ever’

Jessica Biel is expected to give birth any day now. Biel was photographed last Friday, walking near a roller skating rink near Los Angeles, showing her biggest baby bump yet. She had just attended a friend’s birthday party.

The actress had also just finished filming her new movie, The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.

The 33-year-old mommy-to-be sported a gray T-shirt with a tiny bit of her pregnant tummy showing at the bottom.

Biel and Timberlake are expecting their first child by late March or early April, sources told E! News. The couple wed in October 2012. Timberlake announced Biel’s pregnancy January this year via Instagram with a caption, “Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! “This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT.”?

“They are both so excited for this new chapter and ready to be parents,” one source said. “They are such a great team and will both be very hands on and involved with everything.”

Timberlake, 34, can’t wait to receive his “greatest gift ever”. At the iHeartRadio awards on Sunday, the proud daddy-to-be voiced his love for his wife and their child during his acceptance speech, having won the iHeartRadio Innovator Award. He called Biel his “best friend and favorite collaborator”.

During his speech, Timberlake quoted the likes of Steve Jobs and former President Theodore Roosevelt for their genius, hard work and contribution to society.  He ended on a personal and humorous note addressed to Biel and their baby.

“Lastly, you can’t have innovation without creation, so finally, I want to thank my best friend, my favorite collaborator — my wife, Jessica, who’s at home watching,” he said, prompting the audience to cheer loudly. “Honey, I can’t wait to see our greatest creation yet.”

“Daddy’s heading home right now to innovate and learn how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on!” he said.

  • Google’s Chromecast Gets Support From More Apps

Google’s Chromecast Gets Support From More Apps

Google announced a handful of apps that have added Chromecast support, including WATCH Disney, WATCH Disney Junior, WATCH Disney XD, Twitch, iHeartRadio, and DramaFever.

The Disney apps will give users access to titles like Girl Meets World, Doc McStuffins, and Star Wars Rebels. They do, however, require a login from a supported TV provider, and there are some (like Time Warner Cable) missing from the list.

Chromecast director of global content Shanna Preve writes on the Chrome blog:

Music aficionados can now cast and blast music from the best speakers in the house with iHeartRadio. The app lets you listen to more than 1,500 live radio stations from all over the U.S. or customize your own.

You can also join 60 million gamers on Twitch to watch and talk about video games. Get insights from both casual gamers and some of the biggest professional players competing in sold out stadiums. Cast Twitch content from the web, Android and iOS apps.

The inclusion of Twitch is notable as it is being acquired by Amazon after Google reportedly backed out of a deal to purchase it. Amazon’s own Instant Video app doesn’t even offer Chromecast support at this point, though it did just become available for Android via the Amazon Appstore, and some newer Android devices have the ability to mirror their screens using the Chromecast.

DramaFever, if you’re not familiar with it, gives users access to over 15,000 television episodes from international markets, including Korean dramas, Latin American telenovelas, and various Asian TV shows.

The WATCH ABC and NPR One apps recently gained Chromecast support as well.

  • Jennifer Lopez Shows Off Perky Posterior At iHeartRadio Show

Jennifer Lopez has all the right to show off her sexy body and that’s just what she did on Saturday night when she performed at the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party in Miami Beach.

The 44-year-old singer wore a colorful bodysuit covered up with a jacket, and stockings that had a gaping hole near the butt area. She then stripped off her jacket and revealed her toned arms. It is not clear whether the stockings were ripped by accident or on purpose. Despite the big hole on her buttocks, Lopez continued her energy-pumped performance.

Earlier in the day, Lopez was seen rehearsing with the rest of her dancers. She was wearing a black cropped-top, which showed off her tight stomach, paired with knee-length leggings. Organizers of the show said that Lopez’s mother was present and danced to all of her daughter’s songs. Other performers present were Lil Jon, Iggy Azalea, and Ariana Grande. The event was hosted by Nick Cannon.

Lopez shed 10 pounds with her rigorous dance workouts and vegan diet. In April, Lopez sought help from exercise physiologist Marco Borges, who also helps other stars such as Pharrell Williams, Shakira, Gwen Stefani, Jay Z, and Beyonce. “You got to work out, you got to watch what you eat. It’s a job – you’ve got to buckle down. I feel great mentally and physically!” Lopez told US Weekly. With her strict diet and exercise, she is now down to a size two from a size four in a span of just five weeks.

To support her, Lopez’s family, including her six-year-old twins Max and Emme went vegan. Lopez started touring in May to promote her eighth album entitled A.K.A. She has been treating her fans to show-stopping performances in Connecticut and New York. She also performed at the World Cup opening ceremony.

  • Britney Spears Sets Date for Music Video Premiere

The beautiful Britney Spears just got back from her little jaunt, performing at the iHeartRadio festival in sin city itself. The 31-year-old mother of two has kept pretty busy, recently premiering her hottest new single on Sept. 15, titled, “Work B**ch!” If you want it, you have to work for it, so what more appropriate title for a song that practices exactly what it preaches?

    [Intro]
    You wanna, you wanna

    [Chorus]
You want a hot body? You want a Bugatti?
You want a Maserati? You better work bitch
You want a Lamborghini? Sippin’ martinis?
Look hot in a bikini? You better work bitch
You wanna live fancy? Live in a big mansion?
    Party in France?
You better work bitch, you better work bitch
You better work bitch, you better work bitch
    Now get to work bitch!
    Now get to work bitch!

But what’s truly exciting is that Spears’ latest single will soon have a video to bring it to life. Spears declared on Twitter that the “Work B**ch!” music video will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 1. The video will air on the CW network.

But if you’re as big of a fan of the former Mouseketeer as the rest of us, you don’t have to wait all of the agonizing days until it’s wild, television premiere…sort of…

Leave it to social media (once again) to give fans an all access pass into the life of Miss. Spears. She recently posted a brief clip of the sexy, new video on her Instagram account this week. You can also check out some pretty, steamy photos (like this one) from the set of the new video on the Mississippi native’s Instagram.

This will be Spears’ eighth forthcoming studio album.

  • “Wrecking Ball” Soaring on the Hot 100 List

Miley Cyrus is no stranger to the spotlight. The 20-year-old has epspecially been talked about between her racy performances to her breakup with heart-throb Liam Helmsworth. Unfortunately it seems the only attention being placed on the singer has been the negative kind…Except for the attention she’s made on the Billboard charts.

Her latest hit, “Wrecking Ball” has now spent it’s second week ranked as the no. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 list.

The song wins in the very close race with Katy Perry’s former two-week topper “Roar.”

The pop singer just got back from her performance at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas. While there she was spotted posing with the Kardashian sisters. In this video, you can see Cyrus performing her Billboard hit, “Wrecking Ball.”

But what’s lead to Cyrus’s soaring success? I’d say aside from the constant press (both the good and the bad) her Twitter account has certainly been helpful. With her 14 million followers, Cyrus constantly tweeted about her latest video, asking fans to help the viewing audience grow.

What’s next for Cyrus? You can check out the documentary MTV has filmed about her. “Miley: The Movement” will debut on Oct. 2nd at 10 p.m. Cyrus’ next album, “Bangerz,” will be released on Oct. 8th.

  • iHeartRadio Surpasses 135 Million Downloads

Clear Channel announced today that its iHeartRadio service has surpassed 135 million downloads and 20 million registered users. On top of that, the iHeartRadio network is now seeing 239 million monthly listeners and over 48 million monthly digital uniques.

“Registered users only represent a portion of iHeartRadio’s total listener base, since registration is only required for the Custom Station feature which launched in September 2011,” a spokesperson for Clear Channel tells WebProNews.

According to Clear Channel, iHeartRadio’s registered users are growing faster than Facebook, Twitter, Pandora, Spotify and Instagram.

“iHeartRadio has experienced unprecedented growth as it continues to resonate with our listeners and super-serve our partners,” said Brian Lakamp, President of Digital, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. “The reach of our broadcast radio properties, combined with our digital platforms truly creates unmatched promotional power that is unique to Clear Channel and allows us to be wherever our listeners are with the products and services they expect.”

“iHeartRadio has reinvented the digital radio experience and is a key element of how Clear Channel continues to reshape the media and entertainment industry,” said CEO John Hogan. “iHeartRadio’s rapid growth and success is a testament to Clear Channel’s ability to engage audiences with our variety of assets, including live events such as the iHeartRadio Music Festival, world-class talent and premier partnerships.”

iHeartRadio provides users with access to not only custom radio stations (Pandora-style), but access to live broadcasts from over 1,500 radio stations in 150 cities. It includes all the Clear Channel radio stations, as well as stations from other groups, like Univision, Cumulus, Greater Media stations, WNYC, EMF’s Contemporary Christian Air1 and K Love stations, college radio, Cox, Emmis, etc.

The app is available on numerous devices ranging from web, mobile and tablets to automotive, TV and gaming devices.

  • Britney Spears’ Hair Gets Rainbow Treatment

Britney Spears has experimented with quite a few hairstyles over the years, but other than shaving it off, she has rarely gone too far outside her comfort zone. Lately, however, she’s been tempering her newfound sleek and chic look with some playfulness, and fans seem to like it.

Spears rocked some rainbow extensions last week at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, making it clear that she came to party and wasn’t going to leave until the house was brought down.

“This is Vegas, baby, so we’ve got the world’s most insane deejays here to keep the party going all night long,” she said.

Spears also said she was a fan of the music festival because of the diversity of music fans when she joined Ryan Seacrest onstage. Whether it was the atmosphere of Vegas or just the young, hip influence her new job as judge on “The X-Factor” has had, Spears seems to be enjoying herself lately, and fans are responding.

  • iHeartRadio Nets 10 Million Users in 8 Months

Clear Channel announced today that its popular free digital radio app, iHeartRadio, has amassed 10 million registered users in a mere 8 months since it started inviting people to sign up for accounts. While that sounds like a meteoric gain all by itself, let’s put that into perspective: iHeartRadio reached that milestone quicker than Facebook, Pandora, Spotify, and Instagram attained that number.

While 10 million users is impressive, that’s likely a low estimate of the total amount of people who’re using the app since registration isn’t mandatory to use kick out the jams on iHeartRadio. People only need register if they want access to the Custom Station feature. Even without enabling the Custom Station feature, though, users can still access any one of the 850 radio stations in the United States that stream commercial-free over the service.

Brian Lakamp, Clear Channel’s Digital Media President, described the iHeartRadio’s registration growth as “mind-blowing” in a statement. “We’ve been able to drive this adoption like no other company could,” he said.

iHeartRadio’s off to a stampeding start but it’s still got a ways to go to catch up with some of its competitors. Pandora, for instance, celebrated 150 million users last week with some convincing evidence that the internet radio service will likely continue to expand over the year.

Then again, iHeartRadio’s offering a different service than Pandora so there’s not really much keeping both radio providers from sharing listeners. The internet radio market is swelling as of late and that’s largely without the help of social media to promote it.

Clear Channel Chairman and CEO John Hogan concurs that iHeartRadio’s success reinforces the trend that audiences are turning up that sweet internet sound. “This is a reflection on how consumers are embracing digital as one more way to use our broadcast brands,” he said. He added that Clear Channel plans to continue developing the iHeartRadio platform so as to expand its fan base.

Currently, anybody who can’t stand the silence can tune in to iHeartRadio via the website or download the mobile app for iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows 7, and Blackberry.

“We take being a multiplatform company seriously,” Hogan concluded.

  • iHeartRadio Ads Not Coming Until April

iHeartRadio Ads Not Coming Until April

Clear Channel Radio announced that it is extending its commercial-free programming on iHeartRadio’s Custom Stations through April 1, 2012, after initially planning on stopping this at the year’s end.

They must want to keep their momentum in competing with Pandora going strong.

The new iHeartRadio launched in September. It used be basically a way to listen to radio stations from around the country, and that was pretty nice on its own, but the new version keeps that functionality and adds a Pandora-like feature that lets users create their own stations based on songs or artists that they like. So far, these custom stations have not had ads, and users like that, so extending the no-ad time should be pretty good for continuing to win over new users who are tired of the ads on the free version of Pandora.

A Clear Channel spokesperson tells WebProNews they’re “beginning to work with advertisers to eventually integrate commercials into the service in a way that delivers real value to them while being acceptable to listeners.”

“The New iHeartRadio has exceeded our expectations – and more importantly, those of our fans – since it launched in September at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. It offers our listeners everything they want from a digital radio service in one completely integrated, free experience,” said Brian Lakamp, President of Clear Channel Digital. “Because Custom Stations are only a feature of the New iHeartRadio, we have the luxury of being able to extend our commercial-free Custom Stations till April 1, 2012.”

Clear Channels notes that iHeartRadio is consistently in the top 10 downloads of free music apps for the iPhone and in the top five for Android.

It logs 65 million listening hours a month, and the mobile apps have been downloaded 44 million times. The iHeartRadio is currently available at iHeart.com and on iOS and Android.

  • iHeartRadio Music Festival Begins Social Media Promotion

iHeartRadio, the streaming radio platform created by Clear Channel, will be holding a large music festival at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The event will happen on September 23rd and 24th and it being billed by the service as “the biggest live music event in radio history.”

According to the iHeartRadio site, the festival will include performances by Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Steven Tyler, The Black Eyed Peas, Kenny Chesney, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Jane’s Addiction, Nicki Minaj, John Mayer, Rascal Flatts, Bruno Mars, Sublime, Kelly Clarkson, Usher and Sting. This list will be constantly updated as new acts are introduced all summer.

The entire festival will be streamed on the web and through mobile apps.

If you are unfamiliar with iHeartRadio, they are an online and mobile service that aggregates over 750 radio stations from over 150 different America cities, and streams them for free. The live streams are available at iHeartRadio.com as well as on apps for iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone.

Not only do they stream live radio, but they also stream “personality channels” like American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest. They have also recently announced that “custom radio,” much like Pandora, will be launching soon.

In order to promote their fall concert in Vegas, iHeartRadio has started a social media campaign that includes both Facebook and Twitter.

On Facebook, they have enabled an exclusive ticket pre-sale that allows fans to purchase tickets to the event a week before they go on sale to the general public this Saturday, July 16th. All you have to do is “Like” iHeartRadio and you can find out how to get your tickets ahead of time.

After tickets go on sale this Saturday, Facebook will also be the place that people can enter to win a trip for two to the festival. Once again, people will need to “Like” the iHeartRadio page in order to be able to participate.

Ryan Seacrest is doing his part to advertise the event on Twitter, as you can see here –
