  • Game of Thrones Honest Trailer Is Not Suitable for Sean Bean

If you haven’t watched seasons one through three of HBO’s Game of Thrones, first of all shame on you. Second, don’t watch this honest trailer. Everything that you’d ever want not spoiled is spoiled. Just don’t watch it.

If you’re still here, good. The Game of Thrones honest trailer (via Screen Junkies) is my favorite type of honest trailer–the struglling to actually find something bad to say about it honest trailer. Screen Junkies had the same problem when they made the honest trailer for Jurassic Park. Seriously, how the hell are you going to find much to complain about with GoT?

Well, there’s the Sean Bean thing. It’s so sad, really. Someone give that guy a break-or at least a full season run on something.

Check it out below. Remember, Game of Thrones returns to primetime HBO this Sunday. I hope I make it to Sunday, but the weight of my own expectations is currently threatening to explode my heart.

  • Home Alone, Your Favorite Xmas Movie, Gets an Honest Trailer

I’m not going to lie – Home Alone is one of the best things about the holidays. Ever since I was 8 years old, I haven’t let a December go by without watching the John Hughes-produced classic at least once. It’s endlessly quotable, it has a great soundtrack, and it even manages to hit you right in the feels at the end. Plus, Daniel Stern’s scream – it’s a Hollywood legend.

A few Halloweens ago, a buddy an I went as The Wet Bandits. Everyone knew who we were. You know why? Because everybody loves Home Alone. If your holiday movie schedule doesn’t include Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, and Die Hard, well, that’s unfortunate. I’m not going to pile on, because I assume your holidays were sad if you didn’t watch these movies growing up. Very sad.

So it brings me great joy to announce that Screen Junkies has finally decided to do one of their honest trailers for Home Alone.

    Buzz, your girlfriend. Woof.

  • The Walking Dead Gets a Much-Needed Honest Trailer

After premiering to insanely good ratings Sunday night, The Walking Dead’s ego is probably a bit overinflated. Thank god there’s the Honest Trailer team to take it down a peg.

“From the network that brought you Breaking Bad, a show you couldn’t stop watching, comes a show so inconsistent you have to keep talking yourself into watching…”

    Take us home, guys:

I’m not hating on The Walking Dead, it’s a fine show. I’m just bitter that more people watched the season 4 premiere than watched the Breaking Bad series finale. Grumble grumble grumble. Oh, and Carl. F*ckin’ Carl.

  • Breaking Bad Finally Gets Its Honest Trailer

The “Honest Trailers” from Screen Junkies are always fun, and with the final episodes of Breaking Bad soon to debut, what better time for the two series to meet?

I’m pretty sure there’s an F word in the pilot though, if you don’t watch it on TV.

  • Independence Day Gets a Much-Deserved Honest Trailer

For people my age, one of the first major summer blockbusters that we remember seeing, and subsequently loving, is 1996’s Independence Day. It had it all – exploding national landmarks, aliens, Jeff Goldblum, drunk Jeff Goldblum, Jeff Goldblum reprising his “must go faster” line, and of course, Jeff Goldblum smoking a cigar.

Finally, the nearly two-decade old film is getting an honest trailer. And with the news that we will in fact get an Independence Day 2 in 2015, there’s no better time for it.

Let’s Be Honest About Les Miserables [VIDEO]

“Universal Pictures proudly presents the film you realized had absolutely no dialogue whatsoever only after you bought your ticket.”

Yeah, that sums up my experience rather perfectly. Please don’t tell my wife, but this honest trailer for Les Miserables is the best version of Les Miserables that I’ve ever seen. Check it out:

  • ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn’ Gets an Honest Trailer

Check in on what dead-eyes and shovel-face are up to in this hilarious “honest trailer” from ScreenJunkies.

There’s more fun to be had at the expense of Twilight. Check out slapping fish, leftover cake, and more in last year’s awesome Bad Lip Reading of the original movie.
