  • Mary-Louise Parker Heading Back to Broadway This Fall in “Heisenberg”

Mary-Louise Parker, known for her role on Weeds and in films including Fried Green Tomatoes, is headed back to Broadway this fall in Heisenberg, what Variety describes as a Broadway transfer of an off-Broadway play.

Playing the role of a woman whose unexpected relationship with a considerably older man (she is 33 to his 75) leads to an uncertain future, Mary-Louise Parker–joined by Denis Arndt–is reprising her role she first played in the play’s world premiere last year.

Parker isn’t new to Broadway. She won a Tony Award in 2001 for her role in Proof. She also appeared on Broadway in Hedda Gabler, The Snow Geese, and Reckless.

Mary-Louise Parker–at 51–has run the gamut of captivating roles in film, on TV, and on the stage. She most recently played the role of Raymond “Red” Reddington’s (played by James Spader) ex-wife Naomi Hyland on the hit NBC show The Blacklist for four episodes.

If you’re a Mary-Louise Parker fan, you’re likely not surprised she’s headed back to Broadway. Her diverse talent traverses many realms in the acting world–each of which she has perfected.

If you’re not familiar with the actress, check out Fried Green Tomatoes for an early look at the actress. Follow up with The Blacklist for black and white views of her abilities. You won’t be disappointed.

There’s been no word yet on the exact opening date for Mary-Louise Parker in Heisenberg.

  • Alternative Breaking Bad Ending Is Hilarious

    Scroll down for the video.

Yes, Breaking Bad is over – it ended backed in September, but even then we’re still getting remnants of the beloved series despite its conclusion.

A lot of people became more familiar with Bryan Cranston as an actor when Malcolm in the Middle first broadcasted back on January 9, 2000 on FOX. He played Hal, the main character’s father; a quirky, inept, caring, and wacky dad who was always on his wife’s side. The show aired for six years, and after 151 episodes, the world didn’t see much of Cranston in the spotlight, albeit starring in some movie roles like Little Miss Sunshine. It wasn’t until 2008 that we saw Cranston emerge as Walter White in the groundbreaking AMC series Breaking Bad. Despite this, many were curious of whom this talented actor was, and were surprised to hear that it was “Malcolm’s Dad”; Hal never really left Cranston. With that in mind, the internet came up with a funny synopsis about the ending to Breaking Bad, and how it was all just one big dream that Hal in Malcolm in the Middle. Thought it came merely as a funny idea that sparked online, a lot of fans of both shows typed up online the visual of what the hilarious scene would look like. In fact, there’s a whole Tumblr site dedicated to immersing the plot lines of Breaking Bad and Malcolm in the Middle into one single story, and it’s surprisingly, at times, somewhat convincing.

Yesterday, a YouTube user by the name of Michael Davies uploaded “Breaking Bad Season 5 – Alternate Ending”, which shows Cranston reprising his role as Hal, and Jane Kaczmarek as his wife, Lois. Like the potential idea for the hilarious alternative ending, Hal wakes up after dreaming the entire series of Breaking Bad, shocked to find that he was a drug dealer. The video makes more sense for those familiar with the show, as Hal goes on to describe the many faces he ran into in his extended long dream. Hal even tries to reenact some of Walter White’s mannerisms that don’t quite translate as well in the Malcolm in the Middle universe.

    Hilarity ensues.

  • The Heisenberg Mask Bryan Cranston Wore at Comic-Con Is Now on eBay

The Heisenberg Mask Bryan Cranston Wore at Comic-Con Is Now on eBay

I’m sure you recall this year’s Comic-Con, where Bryan Cranston did that awesome thing where he put on a lifelike, rubber Heisenberg (Walter White) mask and walked around the floor for a couple of hours. Everybody thought it was just some dude in a really awesome Heisenberg mask, but it was actually Bryan Cranston. How freaking cool was that?

He finally peeled off the mask and showed the entirely of Comic-Con that nobody can really be Heisenberg other than Bryan Cranston, and you were all fools to think that it would be anyone other than Bryan Cranston under that mask.

Well, now you can be the one who knocks – you can be the danger. All you have to do is sell your house, car, and a few other personal items before checking out eBay.

The mask’s creator, Landon Meier, has put it up for sale. Current bid? $31,000 (with over 100 bids!).

“The Walter White mask is made of ultra-durable, long lasting Dragon Skin© platinum silicone. Landon’s unique pigmenting methods, combined with the translucency of the silicone, makes for a very convincing flesh. All hair is hand punched. This particular mask has been signed by Landon Meier and Bryan Cranston!” he says.

Is this a really, really cool piece? You’re goddamn right. But most of us don’t have over $30,000 lying around to spend on a mask. Halloween is coming up, however, and you would have the coolest costume at the party by like a factor of a million.
