  • Emilia Clarke Lifted Weights to Impress Schwarzenegger

Emilia Clarke’s role as Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons, on the hit HBO show Game of Thrones, has seen its share of nudity. So when word broke that Emilia Clarke had been offered — but refused — the role of Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey, there were puzzled looks all around.

“There is a huge amount of nudity in the film,” Emilia Clarke explained.

Come again? This is an actress whose character on Game of Thrones has shown plenty of skin. What gives?

“I really wanted to work with [Fifty Shades director] Sam Taylor-Johnson because she’s fucking amazing,” Emilia Clarke told Marie Claire. “But there is a huge amount of nudity in the film. I’ll never say, ‘I’m never doing nudity,’ because I’ve already done it, but I thought I might get stuck in a pigeonhole that I would have struggled to get out of.”

Ah, that makes more sense. It’s one thing to be known for a role that occasionally sports nudity. It’s another to become known as “the actress who does nudity.”

All that running around with her clothes off may seem to come easy for Emilia Clarke, but she admits to some insecurity.

“I remember when everything first kicked off, I Googled myself. You just do, it’s instinct. But never again,” she said. “It just takes that one person who says: ‘She’s a fat bitch,’ and you’re like: ‘I’m a fat bitch!’”

Emilia Clarke has her sights set on another project due to be released this summer. For Terminator Genisys, Emilia Clarke will have to step into a role that Linda Hamilton muscled through in the first two Terminator films — that of Sarah Connor. So Emilia Clarke got herself pumped because she wanted to impress Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“Those fucking guns are super heavy,” she says of the film’s props. “You’re running with them a lot of the time, and I needed to keep up with/be better than the boys. I needed to know what to do to have Arnold go: [adopting Arnie accent] ‘very nice’. That was my goal.”

  • Emilia Clarke: ‘Huge Amount Nudity’ Caused the Actress to Turn Down ’50 Shades of Grey’

Emilia Clarke says nudity was the reason she turned down the opportunity to play Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey.

It wasn’t just the nudity because she’s not opposed to taking it off as Daenerys Targaryen in HBO’s The Game of Thrones.

Emilia Clarke told Marie Claire U.K. for its July cover that it wasn’t the nudity that bothered her, but the “huge amount of nudity” and the fear of becoming “pigeonholed” for being open to baring it all.

“I really wanted to work with Sam Taylor-Johnson because she’s f–king amazing. But there is a huge amount of nudity in the film,” Emilia Clarke said. “I’ll never say ‘I’m never doing nudity,’ because I’ve already done it, but I thought I might get stuck in a pigeonhole that I would have struggled to get out of.”

Because of the nudity in Game of Thrones when she became a household name, Emilia Clarke learned early on not to Google herself.

“I remember when everything first kicked off, I Googled myself. You just do; it’s instinct. But never again. It just takes that one person who says, ‘She’s a fat bitch,’ and you’re like, ‘I’m a fat bitch!’” Emilia Clarke said.

Back in March, Emilia Clarke made similar comments in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“I’d done nudity before and was concerned with being labeled for doing it again,” Emilia Clarke said.

Do you think Emilia Clarke would have been a good choice to play Anastasia Steele?

  • Jenna Dewan And Channing Tatum Propositioned By “Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke

Jenna Dewan is gorgeous, and her husband, Channing Tatum, is nothing to sneeze at, either.

But, apparently the brilliance that is Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum together is just too much for Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke to handle.

Emilia Clarke told Harper’s Bazaar just what it was like to meet Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum in person.

She explained, “Someone took a fantasy in my head and played it in real life.”

She continued, “I was at a Golden Globes after-party and Channing F**king Tatum came up to me, and his stunning missus, Jenna [Dewan]. And they said, ‘We call each other “moon of my life” and “my sun and stars” and all that.’ ”

She added, “And I was like, ‘I cannot contain this. Please, can we all have something sexual together? You’re both beautiful, even just a hug.’ ”

When asked if any gentlemen have tried that line on her, she said, “Someone definitely should.”

Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum aren’t the only celebrities that Emilia Clarke gushed over in her interview. She also shared what it was like filming Terminator 1.0 and working with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

She said of the grueling scenes, “The hours were so long and the guns were so heavy, so I had to get myself into a place where I wouldn’t crap out at four o’clock. And also I am the only girl, so I wanted to be like, ‘Hey, boys, let me give you a run for your money.’ ”

As far as working with Schwarzenegger, Clarke said it was a surprising pleasure.

She said, “It never gets old. He was so much fun. I expected this massive ego to turn up, but he is this charming, sweet, kind man. He got really excited to film the scenes.”

Sweet words from Emilia Clarke! What do you think about her propositioning Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum?

  • Gwendoline Christie’s Villainous “Star Wars” Character Revealed

Gwendoline Christie has been captivating audiences on Game Of Thrones for several episodes now as the seriously badass swordswoman Brienne of Tarth, and it’s been revealed this week that she’ll be slinging some new weapons on the big screen, as character Captain Phasma in the upcoming Star Wars film.

According to Vanity Fair, Christie dons a metallic Stormtrooper suit in The Force Awakens–earning her the nickname the Chrometrooper–and was photographed by Annie Liebovitz for a shoot focusing on the new faces we’ll see in the film. Captain Phasma is a member of the evil First Order, which has many fans assuming she’ll play a villain, but as in most of the other films in the series, things aren’t always as black and white as all that. However, Gwendoline won’t be alone if she stands on the side of the bad guys; Adam Driver is also set to play a villain.

Christie took to Twitter on Monday to join in on the May 4th fun, much to the delight of her fans and fans of the films.

It’s unclear at the moment how comfortable Christie’s new costume is, but she spoke to Vulture recently about her Game Of Thrones armor, saying it’s extremely heavy and difficult to maneuver in.

“Oh God. That armor is pretty real. It’s very heavy, and it is very painful. It’s very difficult to execute any sword fighting as well because your movements are incredibly restricted — but that is exactly how the character would be moving. I mean, it’s my job to work with that and to take away the discomfort that I feel as a person and translate that into what the character is experiencing, so I don’t always look like a lumpish tin man harrumphing around, grimacing and going, “I can’t move! I can’t move!”

  • HBO Is Going After Bars Hosting Game of Thrones Parties

If you live in a town with a good bar or brewery, it’s likely that come 9pm on Sunday, it’s packed with people gearing up for the new episode of Game of Thrones.

Public viewing parties of popular shows have taken off in recent years – people sharing beers and tears over shows like Games of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and more. It’s the communal viewing experience that leads to incredible moments like this, an entire bar watching the Mountain v. The Viper scene from Game of Thrones:

Gee, looks fun. HBO wants to murder than fun.

It looks like HBO is now going after bars that hold these live screening parties. The NY Daily News reports that one Williamsburg bar, Videology, was recently sent a cease and desist letter – which the owner described as “a very polite but official letter asking us to stop showing it.”

They plan to comply with HBO’s polite request, because yeah it’s their content but come on, man.

“As a pay subscription service, HBO should not be made available in public establishments,” said HBO in a statement. “When it does happen, it is of particular concern when there is an attempt to profit off the programming. We have taken such actions for well over a decade.”

It appears HBO is frustrated over the fact that someone leaked a screener of the first four episodes of the new season of Game of Thrones, and it’s taking it out on some truly puzzling targets. This cease and desist order to a New York bar was preceded by legal action against Periscope, Twitter’s live broadcasting app. The company sent takedown notices, following reports that users were live-streaming the season five premiere of Game of Thrones for their followers to see.

Of course, there are a couple of things peculiar about this. For one, Periscope streams vanish after 24 hours – they aren’t permanent videos like, let’s say, YouTube videos. So essentially, HBO is fighting ghosts.

Also, you can’t believe that HBO really considers Periscope a piracy threat. How many Game of Thrones fans do you know who would suffer through watching the show via a low-quality live-stream on Twitter? As in someone recording their TV screen? It makes no sense.

HBO has always had a complicated relationship with piracy. Until the release of HBO NOW, the company’s new standalone streaming app (no cable subscription required), the only way to get HBO content outside of a cable subscription was to steal someone’s HBO GO password or simply download it. Game of Thrones has sat atop the Iron Throne of piracy for years.

But HBO execs have said some interesting things about piracy and password sharing over the years.

In 2013, a GoT director said that piracy doesn’t matter to the overall success of the show and that shows like Game of Thrones survive on cultural buzz. He later backtracked.

A few months later, HBO programming head Michael Lombardo referred to the rampant Game of Thrones piracy as a “compliment of sorts.”

“I probably shouldn’t be saying this, but it is a compliment of sorts,” Lombardo said. “The demand is there. And it certainly didn’t negatively impact the DVD sales. [Piracy is] something that comes along with having a wildly successful show on a subscription network.”

Last year, HBO CEO Richard Pleper said sharing HBO GO passwords helps them “build addicts.”

“To us, in many ways, it’s a terrific marketing vehicle for the next generation of viewers and it is actually not material at all to our business,” said Plepler.

“It’s not that we’re ignoring it, and we’re looking at different ways to affect password sharing, I’m simply telling you that it’s not a fundamental problem, and the externality of it – it presents the brand to more and more people and gives them the opportunity to hopefully become addicted to it. What we’re in the business of doing it building addicts – building video addicts. And the way we do that is by exposing our product, and our shows, and our brand to more and more people.”

Facing stiff competition from streaming-only services like Netflix, HBO courted cordcutters with the new, cable-free HBO NOW option. But its coming out party was marred by the massive episode leak, and it looks like HBO is pissed.

Even though the leak did nothing to stop the season premiere of Game of Thrones from setting an all-time viewing record.

  • HBO Is Mad at Periscope over Game of Thrones Streams

HBO Is Mad at Periscope over Game of Thrones Streams

HBO isn’t happy with Periscope, Twitter’s live-broadcasting app.

The company has sent takedown notices, following reports that users were live-streaming the season five premiere of Game of Thrones for their followers to see.

“We are aware of Periscope and have sent takedown notices,” an HBO spokeswoman said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “In general, we feel developers should have tools which proactively prevent mass copyright infringement from occurring on their apps and not be solely reliant upon notifications.”

As in, Periscope should be watching for this, on an algorithmic level.

According to Periscope’s Terms of Service, it doesn’t allow the rebroadcasting of copyrighted materials and will “respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law and are properly provided to us.”

“Twitter, Inc. respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of Periscope Services to do the same,” says Periscope. “We reserve the right to remove Content alleged to be infringing without prior notice and at our sole discretion. In appropriate circumstances, Periscope will also terminate a user’s account if the user is determined to be a repeat infringer.”

So if you’re broadcasting Game of Thrones via Periscope, tread carefully.

The company does say, however, that it “may, but are not required to monitor or control the content posted via Periscope and cannot take responsibility for such content.”

HBO may be going after the wrong people, however, as Periscope videos vanish after 24 hours. And when you can just download decent copies of the show via torrent, why watch someone record their TV and play it back in potato quality on Twitter?

As you probably know, the first four episodes of the new season of Game of Thrones leaked online hours before the premiere. HBO has chalked it up to a screener it sent out to an early reviewer. According to TorrentFreak, the episodes were downloaded more than 100,000 times in just the first few hours of availability. Now, that number is well over a million.

The massive leak failed to keep the show from setting a viewing record, however. Nearly eight million viewers tuned in live.

  • Game of Thrones Leak Fails to Keep Show from Setting Viewing Record

A day before HBO was set to air the highly-anticipated premiere of the new season of Game of Thrones, the first four episodes from said season leaked online. Of course, the prompted a huge dilemma among the show’s ardent fans. On one hand, the weekly anticipation is part of the fun of the show – and who wants to blast through the next four weeks’ worth of episodes in four hours? On the other hand, well, everyone does. Duh.

According to TorrentFreak, the episodes were downloaded more than 100,000 times in just the first few hours of availability. Now, that number is well over a million.

But according to numbers, this leak didn’t stop Game of Thrones from having its biggest opening ever.

Deadline has the ratings, and Game of Thrones‘ Sunday night premiere crushed it. It garnered 7.99 live viewers – a series best. It beats the previous record, which was 7.1 million viewers during last season’s finale.

“Of Sunday night’s Season 5 premiere crowd, 5.32 million fell into the 18-49 demographic, and 2.64 million came from the 18-34 crowd, while 5.25 million fell into the older 25-54 age bracket,” says Deadline.

Leak or no leak, Game of Thrones is more popular than ever.

“Sadly, it seems the leaked four episodes of the upcoming season of Game of Thrones originated from within a group approved by HBO to receive them. We’re actively assessing how this breach occurred,” said HBO following the leak.

And now that the episodes are out there in the wild, GoT fans will face a quandary for the next few weeks. Download, for instant gratification? Or wait it out, for maximum gratification. One thing is for sure – beware the internet, for it’s dark, and full of spoilers.

  • Anna Kendrick Wants HBO To Give Us Full Frontal Access To This Actor

Anna Kendrick isn’t shy about expressing her opinions on guys via social media, and on Monday she took to Twitter to point out the injustices that women face when it comes to equal amounts of nudity on television.

Kendrick pointed out that it’s all in the name of feminism for HBO to give us full frontal nudity when it comes to male actors, too, since the network is chock full of women showing their skin. Of course, it might have something to do with a certain Game Of Thrones actor and his hotness level, as well.

“Madonna kissed Drake, Hilary’s running for president, but HBO STILL hasn’t shown this dude’s dick??” Kendrick tweeted along with a photo of actor Michiel Huisman.

HBO hasn’t commented, but they haven’t been too shy about baring it all with their male actors, particularly on Game Of Thrones, where it seems like everyone is five seconds from disrobing. Even Huisman has stripped down for his role as Dario Naharis, but viewers only got to see him from behind.

It’s not the first time the Pitch Perfect star has tweeted her raunchy thoughts about a guy; in 2013, she took to the site to share her thoughts on Gangster Squad star Ryan Gosling, which went viral and amassed thousands of retweets.

“Ugh – NEVER going to a Ryan Gosling movie in a theater again. Apparently masturbating in the back row is still considered “inappropriate”,” she wrote.

Despite having what seems to be an abundance of confidence with strong opinions on everything from sex to feminism, Kendrick said recently that she wishes she had more of it.

“Sometimes I do wish I was as straightforward as a man. Men are much better than women at trusting their instincts. We think it’s our responsibility to see everything from all these different angles and then we go and ask our mother and our friends. I could really do with a bit more self-confidence,” Anna Kendrick said.

  • Game of Thrones Sequel Excerpt Released [Spoilers … Kind of]

Game of Thrones is one of the most eagerly-awaited series ever. It has joined the ranks of those shows about which friends fight and avoid each other lest they hear spoilers.

When novelist George R.R. Martin released an excerpt from his upcoming book The Winds of Winter this week, fans were all a-twitter. Finally they were going to get a glimpse of what is in store for the lands of Westeros and their favorite characters.

But Game of Thrones fans are divided into two camps: those who have read the books, and those who have not. Those who have not read the books and are only as informed as the latest episode of the HBO series tend to avoid the book-readers. Fortunately, most of the book-readers are also cultured enough to not spoil things for the TV-watchers.

Not so George R.R. Martin. And this is the trouble with hearing anything at all about the upcoming books. It;’s the little passages that ruin it for you.

    Witness …

She was reading her little lord a tale of the Winged Knight when Mya Stone came knocking on the door of his bedchamber, clad in boots and riding leathers and smelling strongly of the stable. Mya had straw in her hair and a scowl on her face. That scowl comes of having Mychel Redfort near, Alayne knew.

The above-referenced “Alayne” is none other than Sansa Stark. So we know she lives, no matter what they throw at her in the HBO series.

No man can wed me so long as my dwarf husband still lives somewhere in this world. Queen Cersei had collected the head of a dozen dwarfs, Petyr claimed, but none were Tyrion’s.

Three names are mentioned in this excerpt: Queen Cersei (interestingly called only “queen” and not “Queen Regent”), Petyr (Baelish0, and Tyrion (Lannister). So we can ease our minds about any of those people dying in the HBO series between now and then.

  • Game of Thrones Will Air Simultaneously Across the World

When you sit down to watch the new season of Game of Thrones each week this Spring, you’ll truly be watching with the entire world – at least those who don’t mind staying/getting up at odd hours to catch the HBO hit.

HBO has announced that it will simulcast each episode of the fifth season worldwide – in over 170 counties and territories. That means fans in many parts of the world will not have to wait to watch the show (or download it). It’ll air at the same time everywhere – HBO Asia, HBO Canada, HBO Europe, HBO Latin America, HBO Netherlands and HBO Nordic.

Of course, it has a 9pm EST air time in the States. That’s 1am in London, and 10am the next day in Tokyo.

But hey, GoT fans are crazy.

“We are thrilled to see our international partners jumping on board to bring Game of Thrones, one of the most universally loved television shows in the world, to global audiences at the same time it airs on HBO in the U.S.,” said Michael Lombardo, President, HBO Programming. “It’s going to be a great season.”

There are plenty of motivations for HBO to make this move. Yeah, it’s now a true global event – and that’s pretty damn cool. But simulcasting the show is just one, albeit small, way to combat piracy. If everybody has access as soon as possible, there’s less of a reason to download the show off the internet. Of course, this doesn’t take into account all the other reasons people would pirate apart from impatience – but to HBO, it’s something.

HBO just unveiled its new, standalone streaming service HBO NOW – which as of now is an Apple exclusive.

  • Lena Headey Shows Off Comfy Pregnancy Style

Lena Headey, who plays the villainous Cersei Lannister on HBO’s Game Of Thrones, announced last month that she is pregnant with her second child and asked for privacy from photographers, but it doesn’t appear that they’ve taken her request to heart. The Game Of Thrones actress was snapped in Studio City this week as she stepped out to get some food with a friend and looked cool and comfy in a tank top and knit pants.

Headey told People Magazine last month that she hoped her news would keep nosy photogs at bay, saying, “I’m happy to confirm that I’m having my second child this summer. I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time.”

Unfortunately, Game Of Thrones has become so popular–and her character’s story arc so juicy–that it will probably be nearly impossible for her to stay clear of the paparazzi, especially when the show’s fifth season is about to begin. The fact that Headey reportedly hasn’t revealed who the father of her baby is will only fuel the fire.

Lena has a son with ex-husband Peter Loughran; the couple divorced in 2013. Rumors have been floating around the web that she is seeing her GOT co-star Pedro Pascal, who has been seen out and about with the actress.

“Lena is one of my favourite persons. And she is so funny and so smart, such a good person, a good friend and a good mother. I think everyone on that set and anyone who comes in contact with her develops an instant crush,” Pascal said.

Headey stopped by to talk to Jimmy Kimmel last year about her role on the popular show and even agreed to have a Game Of Thrones-style conversation with him, complete with wine. Watch their exchange below.

  • Lena Headey of ‘Game of Thrones’ Expecting Her Second Child

Lena Headey of Game of Thrones is expecting her second child.

The 41-year-old actress, who plays Cersei Lannister in the hit HBO series, announced that she will welcome baby number two this summer.

“I’m happy to confirm that I’m having my second child this summer,” Lena Headey told People magazine. “I only hope that this announcement can help me regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time.

Lena Headey is mom to five-year-old son Wylie with Irish musician Peter Loughran, whom she divorced in 2013. The father of her expected child is unknown.

Game of Thrones returns to the air on April 12, and it is unclear if her pregnancy will be a part her character’s storyline.

Lena Headey earned an Emmy nomination in July 2014 for her portrayal of Cersei, whom she says is a survivor.

“I think she’s a survivor and holds on to a reality that’s she created and it’s very small because it’s so full of denial for her,” she told the Daily Beast. “But the process of going in in the morning and getting the corsets and wigs done and walking onto sets really helps.

“And being an actor and having a belief in what you do is the biggest commitment I have in my life, besides being a parent.”

Lena Headey told the Telegraph in 2014 that she never expected the HBO series to be such a big hit.

“You never know. It’s such a bizarre project – with dragons and incest and magic and wizards and zombies,” said Headey. “But it’s very clever and each script it like a gift to me.”

  • Lena Headey Expecting Her Second Child

Lena Headey Expecting Her Second Child

Lena Headey is putting rumors to rest as she confirms that it is, indeed, a baby bump that she is sporting.

The actress, who plays the scheming Cersei Lannister in the immensely popular show, Game of Thrones, is already a mother to her son, Wylie, who is almost five.

Lena Headey, 41, had Wylie with musician Peter Loughran, whom she divorced in 2013.

The father of Lena Headey’s new baby is not yet known, and it may not be for some time.

We will see Lena Headey in season five of Game of Thrones, where there are sure to be some surprising twists.

Author George R.R. Martin was on hand at the Writers Guild West Awards to talk about the show, and what he said of the new season was completely unexpected. He said, “People are going to die who don’t die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy.”

He added, “So everybody better be on their toes. David and D.B. [David Benioff and D.B. Weiss co-creators of Game Of Thrones] are even bloodier than I am.”

Such an exciting time for Lena Headey!

What do you think of Lena Headey’s baby news and of the surprising Game of Thrones revelation from George R.R. Martin?

  • Game of Thrones Season 5 Trailer Leaks, Watch It Before It’s Inevitably Taken Down

I’d say this has about as much of a chance of survival as a George R.R. Martin wedding attendee, but it’s up for now – so watch it while you can.

The full two-minute trailer for the upcoming season five of HBO’s Game of Thrones has made its way to YouTube. Its shaky recording no doubt indicates it was taken at a one of the special IMAX premieres of the final two episode from season four.

What’s happening? I don’t know – I’m not going to watch it. I’m thinking I’ll check out the GoT IMAX experience this weekend. I’m not going to spoil the trailer for myself.

You sure as hell can, though:

  • Amanda Peet Thought “Game Of Thrones” Was A Bad Idea

Amanda Peet maybe shouldn’t be allowed to play with matches.

The actress doesn’t have great judgement.

Luckily, Amanda Peet doesn’t get to call the shots for her hubby, Game of Thrones creator David Benioff.

Amanda Peet admitted on Monday night’s Conan that she didn’t like the idea when he ran it by her.

I wouldn’t have ever admitted that out loud, but whatever.

Amanda Peet said, “I thought it was a terrible idea.”

The former Good Wife star continued, “Terrible. It’s just silly. It’s Dungeons and Dragons but real with real people.”

Haha! That’s sort of true, but like Dungeons and Dragons with real people that make millions of fans super happy.

To the delight of everyone, David Benioff went ahead with the show despite Amanda Peet’s opinion on the matter.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTjgUTtsEMA

However, not to worry, Amanda Peet has changed her views.

“Now I’m obsessed,” Amanda Peet admitted.

She even tries her hardest to avoid spoilers, just like the rest of us. But, it might be a little more difficult for Amanda Peet, being married to one of the show’s creators.

“Just this afternoon, I went to my husband’s office to tell him, ‘Can you do the school run?’ or ask him something, and the storyboards were up for the next season, index cards on my left. I literally was like, ‘David,’” she said as she covered her eyes to shield herself from the spoilers. “‘David, can you pick up Frankie today?’”

Amanda Peet has been married to David Benioff since 2006. They have three adorable kids: Frankie, 7, Molly, 4, and Henry, 1 month.

What do you think of Amanda Peet’s early opinion on The Game of Thrones? Aren’t you glad her hubby didn’t listen to her advice?

  • Amanda Peet Thought Husband David Benioff’s Show, ‘Game of Thrones,’ Was a ‘Terrible, Silly Idea’

Amanda Peet didn’t think husband David Benioff’s idea to co-create Game of Thrones was such a great idea for a television show.

Amanda Peet‘s husband proved her wrong with his highly successful HBO series.

During an appearance on the Late, Late Show With Conan O’Brien, the 43-year-old actress conceded to the funny host that initially she thought the idea was not all that great.

“Yes, I thought it was a terrible idea. Terrible! Just silly. Like Dungeons & Dragons, but real, with real people,” she told Conan, which was greeted by boos from the audience.

“Now I’m obsessed!” Amanda Peet reassured the perplexed and angry audience.

Game of Thrones, which premiered in 2011, is based on a series of book by George R.R. Martin, A Song of Ice and Fire . The show, which is an obsession for so many fans, will return for a fifth season in April.

Amanda Peet, who plays Jordan McDeere on NBC dramedy Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and Laura Hellinger on CBS drama The Good Wife, also starred alongside Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson in Somethings Gotta Give.

Amanda Peet most recently made headlines after BFF Sarah Paulson grabbed her butt at the 2015 SAG Awards Sunday.

  • Sansa Stark To Become Young Jean Grey In New “X-Men”

Sansa Stark, also known as Sophie Turner, is one of the latest crop of actors given parts in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Sophie Turner is an amazing actress that will definitely bring some of that Sansa Stark magic to the big screen.

The two roles already have a few things in common. Both have some brooding inner darkness. Also, Jean Grey and Sansa Stark both have parents that threw them out and exceedingly complicated love lives.

Also exciting about this announcement is that Turner will not have to give up that great red hair she sports as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, since Jean Grey has a similar shade! Ok, it’s not that exciting, but still.

The announcement of the addition of Sophie Turner to the X-Men: Apocalypse cast came in the form of a tweet from director Bryan Singer.

The other young versions of mutants joining the cast include Alexandra Shipp, from Days of Our Lives and Drumline: A New Beat, as Storm, and Tye Sheridan, from Mud, as Cyclops.

Sansa Stark, I mean Sophie Turner, will join the grown-up mutants, like Famke Janssen who is the adult Jean Grey.

Jennifer Lawrence will return as Mystique, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, and James Marsden as Cyclops, among others.

Rumor has it that Channing Tatum will be in the movie as Gambit. He is already on board to be that mutant in the upcoming spinoff, but it hasn’t been confirmed if he will be Gambit in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Also unconfirmed is whether Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine. Hopefully that will work out, as I just can’t picture anyone else pulling it off.

What do you think of Sansa Stark as Jean Grey?

Amanda Peet and David Benioff: It’s A Boy

Amanda Peet and hubby David Benioff welcomed their third child into the world on December 7th. The new baby is a boy and the happy parents have named him Henry Peet Friedman. The A Lot Like Love actress and the Game of Thrones co-creator are also parents to daughters Molly, who is four, and Frances, who is seven.

Amanda Peet first shared her baby bump with the world when she appeared with her hubby at the Emmy Awards this fall, where Game of Thrones was up for 19 awards. At that time Peet shared the excitement of their soon-to-be new family member.

“[My daughters] are very excited now,” she told People at that time. “We’ll see what happens when he actually arrives!”

Amanda Peet made a name for herself in films, stage, and TV. In 2012 and 2013 she played the role of Laura Hellinger on The Good Wife for seven episodes. She is active in Every Child By Two (ECBT), which is a group that strongly advocates the administering of childhood vaccines. That said, you can be certain that Molly and Frances have received their vaccines and that little Henry will as well, when the time is right.

Congratulations are certainly in order for both Amanda Peet and David Benioff on the birth of their first son and third child.

On December 6, actress Amanda Peet gave birth to a healthy baby boy! Henry Peet Friedman is her third child with writer David Benioff, one of the minds behind HBO’s Game of Thrones. The proud couple are already parents to seven-year-old Frances and four-year-old Molly. The two remained private about the pregnancy, with Peet revealing the baby’s sex just this October. She did, however, open up to People about her excitement regarding baby number three. “I’m very excited,” the actress said in the interview. “[My daughters] are very excited now. We’ll see what happens when he actually arrives.”

Peet and Benioff announced the pregnancy back in August when the couple attended the Emmy Awards where Game of Thrones was nominated for 19 awards. Peet appeared on the red carpet sporting a very visible baby bump.

There were no problems with Peet’s pregnancy, with the actress revealing in an interview that she “can’t complain”. She added, “I mean, I’m tired but otherwise, I’m doing really well.”

While how the couple landed on Henry’s name remains a mystery, Peet did reveal to Us Weekly the quirky way they chose their second daughter’s name. “David hid behind his back two crumpled up pieces of paper. We couldn’t leave the hospital because we couldn’t decide what her name should be,” she said in the interview. “The car was downstairs and yeah, it was cutthroat. There were two, he wrote them down on a piece of paper, and then hid them behind his back. And that’s how she became Molly June.”

Amanda Peet is in actress known for her roles in such films as The Whole Nine Yards, A Lot like Love and Syriana. She is also known for advocating childhood vaccination, volunteering as a spokeswoman for the non-profit organization Every Child by Two back in 2008.

Amanda Peet Welcomes Baby Boy Henry

Amanda Peet has given birth to her third child, a baby boy named Henry Peet Friedman.

Peet and her husband, Game of Thrones producer David Benioff, welcomed their new bundle of joy on Sunday, December 7 in Los Angeles, according to People magazine.

Baby Henry joins his two older sisters Molly June Friedman, four, and Frances Pen Friedman, seven.

“I’m very excited,” Peet told People in October, revealing that they were expecting a boy. “[My daughters] are very excited now. We’ll see what happens when he actually arrives!”

The couple, who married in 2006, announced that they were expecting at the 2013 Emmys where Benioff was nominated for 19 awards, not long after Peet admitted that she felt she was too old to have any more children.

However, another baby was in the cards for the actress, who was the first to admit that this pregnancy had its challenges, unlike her other two pregnancies.

“It’s okay! It’s okay!” Peet told Us Weekly while walking down the Emmys red carpet. “42 and pregnant is quite something,” she added. “I’ll be taking these heels off in a minute.”

    Congratulations to the happy couple!

  • Games of Thrones Wants to Give You ‘The Sight’

HBO is already starting the promotions for the upcoming season of Game of Thrones. Late Tuesday a very short teaser appeared alongside a link to a new website.

    Check it out:

So, what’s ThreeEyedRaven.com? Not much, at this point. Upon arriving at the site, you’re prompted to enter your Twitter credentials or your phone number in order to receive “The Sight” (visions of the future).

So it looks like HBO is going to send you Direct Messages and/or texts about Game of Thrones. Exclusive content? First crack at the new trailer, when it finally premieres? Who knows at this point.

But it’s probably a good idea to go ahead and sign up. Season 5 doesn’t premiere for another four months or so – you better take what you can get.
