  • Wiz Khalifa Makes Rap History With Paul Walker Tribute Song “See You Again”

Wiz Khalifa has made rap history with his chart-topping Paul Walker tribute hit “See You Again.” His history-making achievement represents the first time a rapper has had a music video with one billion YouTube views.

See You Again,” featuring vocalist Charlie Puth, is on the Furious 7 movie soundtrack. It is Wiz Khalifa’s second single on the Billboard Hot 100.

This new honor puts Wiz Khalifa at the number three spot of most viewed music videos on YouTube. He still has a ways to go to hit number one, however. Justin Bieber presently holds the number two spot with his 2010 hit “Baby.” Psy holds the number one spot with his music video, “Gangnam Style,” which burst onto the charts in 2012. Wiz Khalifa’s hit is the third to reach one billion views in 10 years–making it an even more impressive feat.

To further laud Wiz Khalifa’s success, “See You Again” is the fastest music video to hit a billion views on YouTube, meaning it just might surpass both Psy and Justin Bieber if it continues to gain momentum at this impressive rate.

Kudos to Wiz Khalifa–and to Charlie Puth, too, for this milestone achievement. “See You Again” launched Charlie Puth onto the music charts. He is now charting with Meghan Trainor on their hit song, “Marvin Gaye,” too.

This exciting news marks an amazing level of success for Wiz Khalifa and is a highly significant achievement for the rap genre as well. It also serves as a remembrance anthem for those who loved the late Paul Walker.

  • Lindsey Stirling, Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth: Tribute to Paul Walker at Billboard Music Awards

Lindsey Stirling, Wiz Khalifa, and Charlie Puth stirred deep emotions in the hearts of those attending the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, as well as those watching from home. Their tribute to the late Paul Walker–the Fast and the Furious star–who died a year and a half ago, brought tears to the eyes of many.

‘See You Again’ comes from the Furious 7 soundtrack, and was written by Charlie Puth. Puth also sings and plays piano in the song. Sunday night was his awards show debut–and a fine one at that.

Lindsey Stirling, violinist for the song, lends an air of raw emotion to the song that even serves to soften the rap lyrics performed by Wiz Khalifa. Even those not fond of rap will find huge portions of this track appealing.

In addition to her performance in ‘See You Again,’ Lindsey Stirling has her own YouTube channel. She presents choreographed violin performances that destroy all pre-conceived notions of violinists.

Before Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth, and Lindsey Stirling took the stage at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, the song was introduced by Furious 7 stars Ludacris and Tyrese, and dedicated to “the late, great Paul Walker. The song evokes such strong feelings it is said to have kindled a reconciliation of sorts between Wiz Khalifa and his ex-wife Amber Rose.

Wiz Khalifa, Lindsey Stirling, and Charlie Puth packed a powerful punch at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. They honored Paul Walker in a most profound way.

  • Michelle Rodriguez And “Furious” Cohorts Stay At #1 For Second Weekend In A Row

Michelle Rodriguez and her Furious 7 co-stars definitely have a reason to celebrate.

Furious 7, starring Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel, and the late Paul Walker, among others, earned $60.6 million domestically in its second weekend.

That amazing figure is following a huge opening weekend haul of $143.6 million.

This past weekend pushed the film’s total to $252 million, which is a best for the franchise.

Overseas figures are impressive, as well, with China bringing in $68.6 million by itself on its Sunday opening day. That makes Furious 7 the highest-grossing one-day opening ever for the country.

Michelle Rodriguez and the Fast & Furious family are riding high at the box office right now.

Of course, Michelle Rodriguez is amazing as Letty in the Fast & Furious franchise, but that is probably because she chose to be there, and she is picky about her roles.

Michelle Rodriguez said, “I’m really picky about the parts I choose. I can’t be the slut. I cannot be just the girlfriend. I can’t be the girl who gets empowered because she’s been raped. I can’t be the girl who gets empowered and then dies.”

Nope. Michelle Rodriguez has to be the girl that kicks butt.

Michelle Rodriguez said of her self-created character, “I just said to myself, look, ‘You’re going to just have to create your own archetype, doesn’t matter if you go broke doing it. And I almost did go broke, twice! But people finally got it: Ok, Michelle is not malleable, you’re not going to influence her by shining fame and money at her, and they stopped offering me that sort of stuff.”

She added, “But you know, it’s a Catch-22. It’s helped me and it’s screwed me. I’ve stuck to my guns and I’m proud and people get it. But I also haven’t carried a movie since Girlfight.”

I think Michelle Rodriguez has done pretty well!

What do you think of the success of Furious 7?

  • Wiz Khalifa: ‘See You Again’ Pays Tribute to Paul Walker, Triggers Reunion With Amber Rose

Wiz Khalifa has a song on the Furious 7 soundtrack, and its music video honors the late Paul Walker in a very touching tribute. The music video for ‘See You Again’ premiered on Sunday. About a week ago, the lyrics touched Amber Rose–ex-wife of Wiz Khalifa. She listened to the song at the rapper’s urging.

In the ‘See You Again’ music video, Paul Walker–who died at the age of 40 in a tragic car crash back in November of 2013–is honored with a montage of pictures from all seven of the Fast and the Furious movies in which he starred.

Charlie Puth sings vocals on the Wiz Khalifa song. He also shared the video on Twitter.

“7 million hits in 2 hours. i know you are watching down on all of us paul, the whole world is thinking of you,” he tweeted.

Vin Diesel, one of the Furious 7 stars and best friend of Paul Walker, shared the music video via Facebook.

“Pablo, this weekend you turned the world into a family
Thanks for the love,” he wrote.

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose share a two-year-old son named Sebastian. They had been at odds for months over raising their child. When Wiz Khalifa contacted Amber Rose, begging her to listen to the lyrics of ‘See You Agin,’ he probably had no idea what the outcome would entail.

Amber Rose contacted Wiz Khalifa and assured him they would work together to raise their son. The three were even spotted at Tamar Braxton’s Easter party as a family–and sources say Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose were ‘affectionate‘ with one another.

It sounds like ‘See You Again’ is a powerful song, and an even more powerful music video. Wiz Khalifa has a hit–in more ways than one–on his hands.

  • Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa Spend Easter Together With Son Sebastian

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa seem to be yet another step closer to a reconciliation. The two spent Easter together with their son Sebastian. Just last week Wiz Khalifa convinced Amber Rose to listen to the lyrics of his new song from the Furious 7 soundtrack. She was so moved by those lyrics that she contacted the rapper and said she wanted to work hand in hand with him to raise their two-year-old.

“How could we not talk about family when family’s all that we got? / Everything I went through you were standing there by my side / And now you gonna be with me for the last ride,” the lyrics from Wiz Khalifa’s song read.

“We went wrong somewhere and even if we never ever get back together (Even tho I pray, dream and hope we do) he will forever be the love of my life,” Amber Rose said recently of Wiz Khalifa.

My #ManCrushEveryday you know what it is…. We went wrong somewhere and even if we never ever get back together ( Even tho I pray, dream and hope we do) he will forever be the love of my life. The media doesn’t make it easy but fuck them we gotta live for reality and not society. We forever have a bond because we made a beautiful baby from our Love. Through all the ups and downs of our relationship my heart still beats for him every single day. I’m sick of putting on a front like I’m happy without him. I’m not. He makes me happy. He’s the only one who can. Regardless of how our lives Turn out in the long run he will always be the skinny tatted up stoner that has my heart,” she captioned a recent photo of the two.

On Easter Sunday, Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa, and Sebastian arrived at Tamar Braxton’s home for an Easter party. TMZ reports that Amber and Wiz were “affectionate” with one another.

Hollywood Life reports that WWE star John Cena has played a big role in Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose getting back together.

“Wiz is a real good friend of John’s. He talked to him and a few other guys on a serious level about the song and how it made him think about his family and Amber,” a source tells the publication. “He wanted her to see the performance and listen to it so they could be on a level where no hard feelings were being shared. The gesture of having her listen to the song was the only thing he has done to get them to talk more and actually start the reconciliation process. It was his conversation with John and the others that was the start of everything.”

It honestly seems that between Wiz Khalifa’s new song and John Cena’s intervention–plus a dose of family time on Easter Sunday–that things might be turning around for Amber Rose and her ex. Do you foresee an actual reconciliation taking place, or do you think they’ll simply spend more time together for Sebastian’s sake?

  • Ronda Rousey Unimpressed With Costars Until They Can Fight In Heels

Ronda Rousey recently had to thrash Michelle Rodriguez in Furious 7, and the two women went at it in fancy gowns and high heels, which obviously added an extra layer of difficulty to the fight choreography. Rousey recently spoke about filming the scene, saying it was just as hardcore as what the men did in the movie, and they didn’t even have to deal with stilettos.

“Heels, designer dresses, marble floors…It was the most intense and painful fight that any of the guys could possibly have. If any of those guys did what they did in heels I would’ve been extra impressed,” Rousey told E! News.

The actress and UFC fighter said she dealt with nerves on the set because she wanted everyone to like her, but that likely wasn’t an issue; she says there’s a good chance her character will return for more films in the franchise, and fans are already asking about a Furious 8. Star Ludacris says that’s not out of the realm of possibility.

“There have been talks about a sequel but nothing has been confirmed in terms of Furious 8, but I really feel like we need to let the fans decide whether there’s going to be a Furious 8 and we’ll work it from there. Right now we kind of need a moment of silence to reflect on this individual who started the franchise. So rest in peace, Paul Walker.”

Rousey said last year that she plans on retiring from the ring undefeated, which looks to be a distinct possibility, and while her MMA fighting career soars, so does her other one. Ronda received mostly glowing reviews for her turn in Furious 7 and The Expendables 3, and is set to make an appearance in the big screen version of Entourage, which premieres in June.

Despite her success–or perhaps because of it–Rousey has been on the receiving end of quite a bit of criticism from other women in the UFC, particularly her rival Miesha Tate. Tate said last year that she felt Rousey got a lot of attention because of her looks, especially when UFC president Dana White announced he was thinking about scheduling a comeback fight for Gina Carano and that her first fight since 2009 would be against Ronda Rousey.

“The only thing that drives that is they’re both attractive. It makes the women’s title hold no value. It makes it look like it’s a joke and they just put whatever’s going to sell. If we’re going to really legitimize women’s MMA as a sport and have it respected as a sport, then you have to treat it as such
.women’s MMA has been working to legitimize ourselves for so long, and we finally broke the ice, we’re finally in the UFC, and we’re getting some credibility. Don’t take that away by putting a fight together that is based entirely on looks and has little to nothing to do with skill set,” Tate said.

  • Jordana Brewster On Filming “Furious 7” After Paul Walker’s Death

Jordana Brewster has a lot to celebrate this weekend with the explosive Thursday night opening of Furious 7, which earned a franchise best $15.8 million in its opening night.

Furious 7 could be on track to beat out The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1 opening weekend, which is the biggest box office opening in recent times at $17 million for its opening night.

These are exciting times for Jordana Brewster and the rest of the Fast & Furious family!

However, according to Jordana Brewster, who played Paul Walker’s love interest for almost 15 years during filming of the entire Fast & Furious franchise, the success is bittersweet.

Jordana Brewster recently opened up on Popcorn with Peter Travers about what it was like to meet Paul Walker for the first time.

As a young actress, Jordana Brewster said of their first encounter, “I remember this guy with blond highlights walking into this room, thinking how gorgeous he was.”

Jordana Brewster also talked about Paul Walker as a person.

She said, “He was truly a black belt and I didn’t know that ’til Fast 5. He was just such a humble dude. Not boastful, which is so not Hollywood. That just speaks volumes about him.”

When Paul Walker died in the car accident during a holiday break in the middle of filming Furious 7, Jordana Brewster said she “just couldn’t believe it.”

Jordana Brewster also discussed what it was like on the set of Furious 7 after Paul Walker’s untimely and shocking death.

Jordana Brewster said, “It was very supportive and loving. It wasn’t just about the cast banding together, but also the crew … What was beautiful about the set was everybody tried to maintain a sense of decorum and professionalism, but if one of us lost it suddenly in the makeup chair, we were there to support them.”

Have you been to see Furious 7 yet? What did you think about the way they handled the death of Jordana Brewster’s long-time counterpart, Paul Walker?

  • “Furious 7” Earns $15.8M At Thursday Night Opening, A Franchise Record

Furious 7 busted the record for the Fast & Furious franchise in its Thursday night opening.

At $15.8 million, Furious 7 obliterated the opening of Fast & Furious 6, which sat at $6.5 million.

At IMAX locations alone, fans of the franchise rolled in to see Furious 7 to the tune of $2.2 million. That would be the third-best number for Thursday previews after The Dark Knight Rises and Iron Man 3.

In fact, Furious 7 is doing so well, that it is the best showing in recent times for any film after The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1. Mockingjay took in $17 million during its Thursday night premiere, and went on to make a staggering $121.9 million debut back in November.

Whether or not Furious 7 will do as well as The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1 remains to be seen, but there is no doubt that people were super excited to see this movie.

Many flooded in to see Furious 7 because they are fans of the franchise, but some are seeing it because it was Paul Walker‘s last movie before he died in a car crash during filming.

During an early screening of Furious 7 in Los Angeles last month, Vin Diesel choked up when talking about his “brother”, Paul Walker.

“This was a labor of love. It was in some ways the hardest movie I ever had to do because the relationships that you see on film are so real,” he said of Furious 7.

He added, “When the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend. I lost my brother.”

As he was speaking, Vin Diesel became emotional and had to pause to gather himself, but the crowd was quick with cheers of support for the Furious 7 star.

At the end, he concluded, “More importantly, it’s for my brother there,” and pointed at Walker’s image on the screen.

Have you seen Furious 7 yet? What did you think?

  • Amber Rose Professes Love for Wiz Khalifa, Calls Him ‘the Love of My Life,’ Shares Suggestive Photo

Amber Rose Professes Love for Wiz Khalifa, Calls Him ‘the Love of My Life,’ Shares Suggestive Photo

Amber Rose, known for her mostly nude Instagram pictures that display her ample curves, seems to be truly burying the hatchet with her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa. In fact, in a recent post, she professes her love for the father of her two-year-old son, Sebastian.

Rose even alluded to her desire to reconcile with the rapper.

“We went wrong somewhere and even if we never ever get back together (Even tho I pray, dream and hope we do) he will forever be the love of my life,” Amber Rose captioned an Instagram photo.

“We forever have a bond because we made a beautiful baby from our love. Through all the ups and downs of our relationship my heart still beats for him every single day. I’m sick of putting on a front like I’m happy without him. I’m not. He makes me happy. He’s the only one who can.”

Can Amber Rose post a photo that isn’t highly suggestive–even when she’s sharing the deepest thoughts?

    No.

It was back in March when Amber Rose seemingly made peace with Wiz Khalifa regarding the couple’s son. Khalifa asked her to listen to the lyrics of his new song from the Furious 7 soundtrack, and those lyrics clearly hit a nerve.

“How could we not talk about family when family’s all that we got? / Everything I went through you were standing there by my side / And now you gonna be with me for the last ride”

Do you think a reconciliation is in the future cards for Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa? How long can he go on seeing all those sexy photos she shares without claiming her for his own?

  • Wiz Khalifa, Amber Rose Reach Custody Agreement While Her Nude Photos Go Viral

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have had many heated arguments over raising their two-year-old son Sebastian. Now it seems the rapper and the half-nude bathing beauty have reached some sort of agreement.

Around the same time Amber Rose was posing half-naked in a string bikini on a Hawaiian beach, Wiz Khalifa was celebrating the release of a new song called ‘See You Again,’ on the Furious 7 soundtrack. When Amber Rose heard the lyrics, she apparently had a change of heart.

“How could we not talk about family when family’s all that we got?
Everything I went through you were standing there by my side
And now you gonna be with me for the last ride.”

While not particularly eloquent, Wiz Khalifa’s words are packed with meaning, and they spoke loudly and clearly to Amber Rose. TMZ reports she called her ex-husband after listening to them and agreed to share in the raising of their son.

How do you think Wiz Khalifa feels about the mother of his child showing off her almost naked body for all the world to see? Might that be brought up in a future parenting discussion?

Given the rocky past Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have, it might be best to leave that issue for another time.

What’s important now is that they’re putting little Sebastian’s needs ahead of their own.

  • Elsa Pataky, Chris Hemsworth: Twins Featured in New Photo

Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth welcomed twin boys–Tristan and Sasha–into the world 10 months ago, and recently shared a new photo of the precious bundles with their fans.

The babies are even holding hands in the new shot, which has no doubt lent itself to its huge popularity since being posted.

Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth are also the parents of a little girl. India Rose is two. But although she is positively adorable, it’s her baby brothers who have people on social media talking.

Check out the photo that has the internet all abuzz.

Pataky captioned the precious photo, “Siempre JUNTOS!!/ Always together!! #twins #happy #forever.”

To prevent another member of the family from feeling slighted, it’s important to mention this little bundle of fluff that became part of Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth’s brood back in November.

“QuiĂ©n podĂa decir que no.!! Nuevo miembro en la #familia!!/ who could’ve say no! Our new family member. #cute #puppy,” Elsa captioned this photo.

It’s sometimes hard to remember amidst this softer side of life that Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth both have highly successful acting careers. Pataky last appeared on the big screen in Fast & Furious 6 in 2013 and will appear in Furious 7 when it is released this year. Chris Hemsworth, of course, starred alongside Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman back in 2012, and is slated to appear in the sequel–The Huntsman–which is due out in 2016.

It certainly appears as though Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth have achieved a very delicate balance that not all Hollywood actors achieve. They have managed to enjoy a wonderful home life with their family in addition to furthering their careers.

  • Michelle Rodriguez on Paul Walker and ‘Furious 7’

Michelle Rodriguez recently shared her thoughts on the late Paul Walker and what she believes his thoughts might have been about the upcoming Furious 7. Now that the first official trailer for the film has been released, it likely makes fans wonder what his take on it might have been, too.

It was an emotional time at Live From Furious 7–an event held on Saturday afternoon for the official release of that trailer. Michelle Rodriguez spoke with E! News, sharing things that lots of people there must have been feeling.

“He would gaze with his beautiful blue eyes and that wonderful, amazing, childlike smile that he would get whenever he’d have, like, a cargasm… [he] would just go from ear to ear, and he’d be like, ‘Finally, it’s in the f–king can!’” Michelle Rodriguez said of Paul Walker’s reaction to the trailer’s release.

“‘Cause that’s his whole thing, the entire franchise, after every single one,” she added, as she mimicked a Paul Walker shrug: “‘I just don’t think it’s in the can yet.’ That was the ongoing thing.”

Paul Walker died 11 months ago in a fiery car crash. Filming for Furious 7–the seventh installment in the Fast & Furious franchise was still underway, with Walker and Vin Diesel at the helm. Paul Walker’s brothers Cody and Caleb filled in so the film could continue production. Vin Diesel shared a picture of himself with the late actor in honor of the trailer’s release.

Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel, and the rest of the cast of Furious 7 must be missing Paul Walker terribly right now. He was such a huge part of the franchise, it simply doesn’t feel right in some ways that production went on without him. In honor of the franchise and those left behind, the entire cast and production crew likely mustered up a ‘the show must go on’ attitude in order to bring Furious 7 to fruition.

They’re no doubt hoping Paul Walker is looking down on them all with love and pride.

  • Michelle Rodriguez Talks “Furious 7”, Paul Walker

Michelle Rodriguez was walking the carpet at Wednesday’s amFAR L.A. Inspiration Gala. She has a lot to celebrate these days with Saturday’s release of the new trailer for the latest Fast & Furious movie, Furious 7.

The tough actress has been in all of the movies from the beginning, Fast & Furious in 2001, to Furious 7, which will be released in April of next year.

In those 14 years, Michelle Rodriguez and the rest of the cast grew together as a family, as she told E! News on Wednesday.

So, when Paul Walker died in a fiery car crash almost a year ago, Rodriguez was surely greatly affected.

When asked what Paul would have said about the franchise coming to an end, she said,

“He would gaze with his beautiful blue eyes and that wonderful, amazing, childlike smile that he would get whenever he’d have, like, a cargasm… [he] would just go from ear to ear, and he’d be like, ‘Finally, it’s in the f–king can!’”

Rodriguez continued, “‘Cause that’s his whole thing, the entire franchise, after every single one,” Rodriguez said. She shrugged her shoulders, mimicking Walker, “‘I just don’t think it’s in the can yet.’ That was the ongoing thing.”

Paul Walker’s brothers, Cody and Caleb, stepped in to finish filming the movie, but it most likely wasn’t the same for those that worked with him and loved him all those years.

Congratulations to Michelle Rodriguez and the rest of the cast of Furious 7!
