  • Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber: Friends Since ‘Full House’

Candace Cameron Bure–best known for her role as DJ Tanner on the hit 1990s TV show Full House, and Andrea Barber, best known for her role as Kimmy Gibbler on the same show–have remained close friends in real life, just like they were on Full House. In fact, their friendship–and Candace’s popularity as DJ Tanner–has even sparked the interest of their kids.

Barber and Bure have their own ‘full houses’ now–replete with five children between them. Candace Cameron Bure is mom to Natasha, 16, Lev, 14, and Maksim, who is 12. Andrea Barber has a son and a daughter. Tate is 10 and Felicity is seven.

Andrea Barber’s kids are huge Full House fans.

“My kids are…at the height of Full House fandom,” she says. “My daughter was so excited to come here today and to meet Candace. And I’m like, ‘You’ve already met Candace!’ But this is the first time she’s seen Candace since she became a fan of the show.”

Having a mom who starred on Full House proved quite beneficial to one of Candace Cameron Bure’s children as well. It was when son Maks was in middle school and having a hard time making friends.

“And then one day he came in the car and I said, ‘How was your day today?’” the Dancing With the Stars alum recalled. “And he was like, ‘It was great…Everybody found out you’re my mom, and you were D.J. on Full House, and now everybody wants to be my friend!’”

Andrea Barber recently shared a fun photo of herself and her BFF back in their Full House days. She captioned it, “#TBT 1988 @candacecbure Back before we started doing funny face selfies…we were doing funny face selfies.”

It wasn’t all that long ago that the ladies gathered with former costar Lori Loughlin for a reunion of sorts.

Full House was a wholesome show for its time and by today’s standards is far more wholesome than most of the new shows that are aired. How wonderful that the kids of two of its stars are enjoying the fruits of their moms’ labors.

And how wonderful that after all this time, Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber have remained close friends. It goes to show that true friendship can trump the fast pace of the Hollywood lifestyle–although it does appear as though both of these Full House stars have put their families ahead of their careers.

  • Dave Coulier, John Stamos, Bob Saget: Super Bowl Ad

Dave Coulier, John Stamos and Bob Saget reunite in an upcoming Super Bowl half time ad for Dannon Oikos Greek yogurt. The three guys enjoyed a Full House reunion while getting together to film the ad.

Full House may have ceased production almost 20 years ago, but the friendship between these three guys never ended. They’ve all stayed in close touch throughout the years, with their friendship no doubt lending itself to the hilarity in the Oikos ad. Of course John Stamos has done Dannon Oikos ads for quite some time now–since 2011 to be exact. The addition of Dave Coulier and Bob Saget is the icing on the yogurt–or, ummm…cake.

In the promo clip Full House character Uncle Jesse (played, of course, by Stamos) is watching TV alone in his kitchen–eating his Dannon Oikos. The camera then switches scenes to Coulier and Saget in their jammies a la Uncle Joey and Danny Tanner.

“What do you say boys, time to go to bed?” Stamos asks them.

“Don’t you think it’s time we all get our own places?” Bob Saget asks, rather rhetorically.

    “Nah,” they all say.

John Stamos says he’s grateful to his “two brothers” for coming together with him to film the ad. They all believe the Super Bowl half time ad will surprise fans and set off multiple waves of laughter.

You can check out the teaser clip in its entirety below.

Super Bowl half time ads are often more fun than the big game itself–if you’re not a big football fan. Some people tune in simply to see these ads. Now that Full House fans are aware of a Dave Coulier, Bob Saget and John Stamos reunion in one of them, they will no doubt be among the viewers on February 2nd–Super Bowl Sunday.

  • “Full House” Reunion: Mary Kate And Ashley Are Life Ruiners

The cast of “Full House” got together over the weekend for a 25th anniversary reunion, minus the Olsen twins, because they’re presumably somewhere being thin and pretty and extremely busy with fashion. And while that kept things from being just about perfect for the rest of us, the remaining cast didn’t let that stop them from having a good time as John Stamos got his wish.

“I think if we’re going to do anything, we should do it while we’re all still looking okay. We should get together and do reunion for TV Land or something,” he said earlier this month. “I don’t know. It’s 25 years this September since it first started airing, and no matter what I do, that’s how people think of me. I’ve tried in the past to forget it and not be associated with it, but I’ve since learned to embrace it.”

    Forget Uncle Jesse? How rude.

There have been a multitude of old shows getting together for their anniversaries lately, including the cast of “Roseanne”, so it was about time for our favorite T.G.I.F show to give us what we’ve been wanting: to see what Kimmy Gibbler has been up to. Apparently it includes dancing with Uncle Jesse to New Kids On The Block songs…life should be that wonderful for all of us.
