  • Megyn Kelly: Why A Former University of Pittsburgh Woman is Getting Hate Mail Intended for Fox Host

Megyn Kelly hosts The Kelly File on the Fox network. She also hosted the Republican debate earlier this summer. So why is a former University of Pittsburgh woman receiving hate mail intended for Megyn Kelly?

It’s because her name is Megan Kelly. Note the difference in the spelling of the two first names.

Megan Kelly says she has received Megyn Kelly’s email in the past, but definitely not as much as she has received since the Republican debate.

Not all the emails she has received are hate mail. Some people have asked her to send them autographed pictures. Wouldn’t it be funny if she sent them? Those expecting a photo of Megyn Kelly would definitely be confused.

Other people have cautioned her not to “sit there and attack Trump!”

Megan Kelly has taken it all in stride.

“Some of the people who are emailing me kind of aren’t understanding how the internet works,” she says.

Megan Kelly finds many of the emails she receives quite amusing. She has taken to posting them on her Facebook page.

“It’s really weird,” she says. “It’s not consistent. But every time I get one, I’m like, ‘Yes!’”

Megyn Kelly has yet to comment on Megan Kelly receiving her emails. If she finds herself in the Pittsburgh area, she definitely owes Megan dinner. Perhaps she should leave a stack of autographed pictures with her, too?

  • Nick Nolte Cast in BroadChurch Remake

Nick Nolte Cast in BroadChurch Remake

Nick Nolte officially signed on to join the cast of the Fox network’s Broadchurch remake. The remake is titled Gracepoint, and it’s set for a 2014/2015 premiere. This probably means that Gracepoint could appear on Fox as early as the fall 2014 television season.

In the original Broadchurch,David Tennant and Olivia Colman play lead investigators in a case about a 11-year old who is murdered in a small town. The  murder brings out the darker side to the town. The townspeople’s secrets start to emerge because of it. Colman’s character,DS Ellie Miller,is a local of the town and has ties to the murdered boy.Tennant plays the out-of-town investigator,DI Alec Hardy. He is called into the town to help with the case. Many Americans became aware of Broadchurch when it aired on BBC America earlier this year.

Nolte plays Jack Reinhold, who owns the kayak rental near the beach. He also owns the local wildlife observation program. The murdered boy, Danny, volunteered at the observation program until his death. Deadline describes Jack as being “stubborn”and’willful.”Nolte’s Gracepoint character is similar to David Bradley’s Jack Marshall in Broadchurch.

Gracepoint currently is being released as a 10-hour miniseries. However, the original Broadchurch received a second season pickup on it’s original channel ITV. Therefore, if the show is a success, there is a chance Fox may expand the series for another season, or a 22-episode series. • David Boreanaz Breaks “Bones”

    David Boreanaz Breaks “Bones”

No, David Boreanaz is not ‘breaking bones’ in a literal sense. However, he may be breaking away from his long-standing tenure with the Fox television drama series, “Bones.” Rumors are flying everywhere that the “Bones” star is planning to leave the Fox subroutine after nine successful years.

Boreanaz, who portrays the dominant role of Washington D.C.-based FBI Agent, Seeley Booth, is allegedly planning to walk away from the show at the end of the ninth season in the spring of 2014.

According to close acquaintances of Boreanaz, he plans to leave regardless of any sizable monetary offer the network puts on the table.

Boreanaz is aiming to explore new heights and facets in his craft an effort to broaden the horizon of his career. He feels that his time has passed on “Bones.” Boreanaz also took to Twitter a few months ago in an effort to subliminally share his perspective on the show with the fans. Although the tweet was later removed from his timeline, it spoke volumes that raised speculation of his departure.

The 140 characters made a profound statement that shook “Bones” fans around the country. According to Perez Hilton, the tweet read, “I’m a free agent after this season [Season8]. So the Bones farewell tour is in full-swing. You must always keep your options open and ready for new challenges. The fear is the unknown and that’s exciting.”

An insider also put the business aspects of the show into perspective. “The show makes a lot of money, but re-casting a lead is always a challenge. The network could throw in the towel if David can’t be signed for more seasons after this one,” the insider explained. While the rumors have yet to be confirmed, “Bones” fans can only hope for the best.

Fortunately, there is one glint of optimism that may cut down on the severity of speculation. Back in 2012, Boreanaz did tweet a similar statement in reference to a “Bones farewell tour” at the end of season seven, only to commit to returning to the show through season 9. So, only time will tell if the cameras will continue to roll. With the show’s laudable success, hopefully they will.
