  • LeAnn Rimes Shows Off Rock-Hard Abs

If there’s one trend that’s been gaining momentum towards the close of the year, it’s definitely celebrities Tweeting workout photos of themselves, like talk show host Kelly Ripa did earlier this month.

But Ripa isn’t the only one showing off her workout results, as country singer LeAnn Rimes posted a photo of herself this morning.

The 31 year old singer has been known to go up and down in weight, and recently an insensitive Twitter follower called her “chubby.” However, Rimes took the classy route and simply said “I’m gonna choose to laugh at this.” Apparently, she’s already learned that going back and fourth with a social media user, who’s main objective is to seemingly cause a stir, is a battle hardly anybody can win.

In an interview with Fitness magazine the “Spitfire” singer said although she hates reading bad press about herself and her weight, she realized at one point that she had to make some changes.

“I tried not to read what people were writing, about how I had baby fat or that I looked fat and needed to lose weight,” said Rimes. “People can be mean. Still, I knew that I was unhealthy.”

But it’s not just the workout regimen that keeps Rimes so fit, it’s her diet as well, and she explained that once she started exercising she had a fear of ruining her progress.

“I was working out so hard that I didn’t want to ruin it by eating crap,” she explained. “I usually eat a bowl of oatmeal with agave nectar, dried cherries, and walnuts in the morning. I have a protein shake after the gym, then grilled chicken, a whole wheat pita and hummus for lunch.

Evidently, her diet and focus on being healthy is working for her tremendously.

  • Penelope Cruz: the Hottest Bod of 2013’s Secrets

Fitness Magazine named Penelope Cruz, Hottest Celebrity Body of 2013, beating out other notable hot bod’s, Jennifer Lawrence and Sandra Bullock.

The 39-year-old, mother-of-two credits her post-baby shape to a way of life that includes dancing, a vegetarian diet, a Mediterranean way of eating, breast feeding and chasing after her little ones.

According to Motley Health, Cruz does not diet and exercise per se, but lives in such a way that she keeps her body in tip-top shape. She became a vegetarian in 2000 and adheres to a Mediterranean way of eating, which dictates how and when she eats, as opposed to following a strict diet.

“I know how to cook and it’s important to me to make fresh food every day. I don’t do crazy diets, just the good Mediterranean food that I love because it’s important to eat well,” she said in an interview. with the India Times.

While the sultry, Spanish actress loves pasta, bread and wine, she is careful about excess. A self-named rehabilitated “junk food junky”, Cruz decided years ago to make changes to her lifestyle, reconciling herself with food, opting to eat moderately and healthy. She also gave up smoking, began to exercise and meditate, and made sure she got enough sleep.

Cruz had her baby girl, Luna, in July 2013 and wowed the red carpet at the opening of her film, The Counselor, with her quick return to her pre-baby shape.

Breastfeeding is another of her secrets to her fabulous body.

“I think I’m very lucky that I can breastfeed my children because sometimes even if a woman wants to, she can’t,” said cruz in an interview. “I breastfed my son for 13 months and I plan to do at least the same with my daughter. That’s an amazing thing for babies, but it’s also really good for the mother because it regulates your body again after pregnancy.”

  • Penelope Cruz is En Fuego Declares Fitness Magazine

Who knows smoking hot bodies better than Fitness Magazine? Wondering who, if anyone, can have a better body than Sandra Bullock did in Gravity? According to the popular magazine, 39 year old Spanish actress Penelope Cruz, tops the list of the 13 Hottest Celebrity Bodies of 2013. And to think, Cruz just had her second baby, Luna, five months ago.

So what’s her secret to getting back into red carpet shape? Cruz follows a Mediterranean diet, dances and chases around two little ones all day. And if Cruz needs anymore incentive to stay fit, rumors are racing around Hollywood and beyond, that the beauty may play the next Bond girl.

Coming in at number two on the list is Hunger Games star and Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence. As you can imagine, getting in tip top shape to play Katniss must have involved extreme training. However, the 22 year old actress is not into dieting and confesses to eating junk food. “During Hunger Games, when I was eating ungodly amounts, I used to tell myself, ‘Stop eating, people are going to see this. This movie is going to be around forever.’ But nope! I was like, I still want that candy and I still want a hot dog!”

Rounding out the top three is none other than America’s sweetheart who bared (most) her body in outer space as Dr. Ryan Stone in the hit film Gravity. Sandra Bullock, 49, works very hard for her fine physique. Her daily workout routine includes a mix of cardio, strength training, Pilates, kickboxing, weight lifting and running.

  • Penelope Cruz Wins Best Bod Over Jennifer Lawrence

Penelope Cruz has been named as Fitness Magazine’s top Best Body for the year, beating out Jennifer Lawrence and Sandra Bullock.

Cruz was chosen due to her ability to regain her figure after the birth of her son in July; the 39-year old walked the red carpet just three months after having her baby looking as fit as ever. Cruz says she gives the credit to following a Mediterranean diet and chasing after her two little ones, as well as dancing.

Cruz has been rumored to be up for the role of James Bond’s leading lady in the next Bond film, and although nothing has been confirmed, she does have a link to the franchise through her husband–Javier Bardem–who played Silva in “Skyfall”.

As for Fitness Magazine‘s runner up Jennifer Lawrence, she says she hates dieting and couldn’t even make herself do it during the filming of “Hunger Games”.

“During Hunger Games, when I was eating ungodly amounts, I used to tell myself, ‘Stop eating, people are going to see this,” she said. “This movie is going to be around forever.’ But nope! I was like, I still want candy and I still want a hot dog! Nothing can motivate me. Then X-Men started, and I thought, ‘Oh definitely, I’ll work out and diet.’ But nope. Not me!”

Sandra Bullock, however, is a different story. She works out for an hour a day, six days a week to maintain her figure.

“Pilates, kickboxing, weight lifting and running or biking while traveling,” she says.
