  • Spring Eye Makeup Trends You Should Try

Spring is here and it’s time to get rid of your winter makeup and move on to something more cheerful and bright.

Some people prefer to stick with the same colors and tones every season, but others like to be trendy and stylish and experiment with their makeup and look.

If you want to wear one of the hot spring eye makeup looks of 2014, try one of these options.

    Blue Eye Shadow

Not everyone can pull off blue eye shadow and most people avoid wearing it. While blue eye shadow might seem like something your grandma wore, it is becoming popular again. The right shade of blue eye shadow can be worn by anyone regardless of skin tone or eye color. You just have to know how to apply it to get the right look.

    Cat Eyes

Cat eyes are one of those looks that comes and goes but for now, they are in. The cat eye look can be a difficult look to master and if you don’t get it right you can end up looking a mess. The key to a perfect cat eye is a smooth, thin line. You may need to practice this look a few times to get it perfect.

    White Shadow And Liner

One of the most unique eye makeup trends of 2014 is the white eye shadow, white eyeliner look. While this combination may seem more like Halloween makeup instead of spring makeup, the right amount of color and shine can make your eyes pop and give you a fresh look that is perfect for spring.

Give one of these looks a try and see if it fits you. You can also experiment with these trends and change them a little to fit your own personal style.

    Eye Makeup: Flirty Spring Makeovers

Are you ready to lighten your look for spring? Is it time for a makeover? If so, consider starting with your eyes. Eyes are one of the first things that people notice when they look at you. Perfect eye makeup can set the stage for a certain style, compliment a cute outfit or hairstyle, and pull your entire look together. Here are a few simple ways to give your eyes a spring makeover.

    Pastels
Soft colors and shades are what spring is all about. Pastel pinks, greens, and purples look great with any skin tone and eye color and will match your favorite sundresses, printed tops and spring accessories. Apply more than one color to your eyelids for a unique and fun look. Add a light shade of pink or white just under your eyebrows to brighten the eyes.

    Lashes
While you may be partial to big, thick, dark lashes, there is something about thin lashes that screams spring and summer. Trade those thick heavy lashes for some that are thinner and maybe longer. You can always add a coat of mascara to make them a little thicker if desired. If you usually go for dark, black lashes, choose a lighter shade of brown instead.

    Eyeliner
If you insist on wearing eyeliner in the spring, go lighter. Dark, thick eyeliner will not go well with your light eye shadow colors and can take away from your desired look. Instead of using a dark black, choose a light brown or gray instead. You can also give colored eyeliners a try. Purple, blue and green all work well with pastel eye shadows and will allow you to accent your eyes without making them too dramatic.

Spring makeup should be light and fresh. Just by trading out your dark colors for lighter ones, you can give your face a fresh and glowing look that is sure to look great all season.
