  • Caitlyn Jenner: Mom Esther Jenner Breaks Both Hips

Caitlyn Jenner shared on Monday that her mom, Esther Jenner, has broken both of her hips, but is recovering nicely. A source close to the Jenner family says the family matriarch broke one of her hips a while back, and the other one quite recently.

The I Am Cait star shared the news of the most recent mishap and subsequent surgery via Twitter.

“Visiting my mom and she’s doing great after breaking both her hips. She’s been mobile–she’s tough,” Caitlyn Jenner wrote.

Esther Jenner has been incredibly supportive of Caitlyn Jenner’s transition from Bruce to Caitlyn.

“It takes so much courage to do what she’s doing,” the 89-year-old said during an interview with People magazine in June. “When I first saw [Caitlyn] all I wanted to do was give her a big hug. It takes some getting used to. It’s going to take some time, but I will adjust.”

It’s plain to see there’s lots of love shared between Esther and Caitlyn Jenner. Esther is quite an amazing lady to not just navigate the ropes of recovery fro two broken hips, but to be so accepting and understanding of Caitlyn Jenner, too.

Prayers are surely going out to Esther Jenner from many of Caitlyn Jenner’s fans for a complete recovery.

  • Kris Jenner, Not Bruce Jenner Gender Issues, Reason for Their Divorce?

Kris Jenner is reportedly to blame for her divorce from Bruce Jenner–not his gender issues, as some believe.

In the Vanity Fair article that features Caitlyn Jenner–Bruce Jenner’s female persona–on its cover, Caitlyn explains the reason behind the demise of his marriage to Kris Jenner.

“A lot of times she wasn’t very nice,” Caitlyn said, reflecting on their 23-year marriage. “People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money…all that kind of stuff.”

“Twenty percent was gender and 80 percent was the way I was treated,” Caitlyn Jenner added, in her attempt at breaking down why the marriage failed.

Kris Jenner sees things very differently, however.

“He was married to me and he wasn’t who he wanted to be so he was miserable. All I was doing was working very hard for my family so that we could all have a wonderful future, and he was pissed off,” she said.

Sadly, Kris Jenner is not among the many members of the Jenner and Kardashian families who have wholeheartedly supported Caitlyn Jenner. Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West, Esther Jenner–Bruce’s mom–and Brody Jenner have all shared their support of Caitlyn Jenner via social media while Kris Jenner has remained silent.

Do you think Kris Jenner is hiding behind the real reason for her divorce from Bruce Jenner? It was abundantly clear on many episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she wasn’t known for treating her husband with anything that even resembled kindness.

Is Kris Jenner hiding behind the excuse of Bruce Jenner’s gender issues in justifying her divorce from her husband of 23 years?

  • Esther Jenner: Mom Will Still Call Caitlyn Jenner ‘Bruce’

Esther Jenner is incredibly supportive of son Bruce Jenner’s transition from a man to a woman–except for one thing. She admits she’s having difficulty using the new name.

Caitlyn Jenner made her debut on the July cover of Vanity Fair on Monday to rave reviews. And Esther Jenner wholeheartedly agrees with the reviews.

“I was there last week, well actually, I got home a week and a half ago,” Esther said in an interview with Access Hollywood. “And I met Caitlyn. She is… so much more at ease.”

The 88-year-old spoke of the name change as being her only issue with the transition.

“I still have to call him Bruce. His father and I named him that,” Esther Jenner explained. “It’s going to be a struggle for me to get used to the change, but happily so… I’m very happy for him–or her!”

It’s actually pretty remarkable that a woman of 88 can accept the transition her son has gone through. As a rule, older people tend to have a harder time accepting things that were simply not spoken of during their younger years.

Esther Jenner actually believes Caitlyn Jenner resembles another family member.

“You know who she reminds me of, my granddaughter Samantha. There is a lot of Sam!” she said, explaining that Samantha is Caitlyn Jenner’s niece.

Caitlyn Jenner took to Twitter to celebrate the transition following the sneak peek of the Vanity Fair cover on Monday.

Stepdaughter Kim Kardashian asked her Twitter followers to consider following Caitlyn Jenner.

Bruce Jenner has received lots of support from his family members in his transition to ‘her,’ now officially known to the world as Caitlyn Jenner. In a world where some parents disown their children for living as their true selves, Esther Jenner is to especially be commended for her open-mindedness and unconditional love–even if she still refers to Caitlyn as Bruce.

  • Bruce Jenner Finally Tells His Mom Everything?

Bruce Jenner is slated to sit down with Diane Sawyer and clear the air about everything once and for all. The gender transition, the nail polish, the Spanx?

If Bruce Jenner thinks we need to know about all that, it will probably come out. But the network does say that Sawyer had a “far-ranging, exclusive interview” with Bruce Jenner.

“Bruce Jenner — The Interview” is set to air on Friday, April 24. It is a specialk edition of 20/20.

Ahead of the interview, the AP spoke with Bruce Jenner’s mother Esther. She said that Bruce Jenner has already talked to her about everything he will reveal to the world via Diane Sawyer.

“He said, ‘I want to be honest about my identity and I know this is coming out in the press,’ ” his mother says. “He started by saying, ‘We need to have a long, serious talk.’ ”

Last year, Esther had spoken to The Daily Mail about Bruce Jenner, particularly about rumors surrounding his divorce from Kris Jenner.

“I love him, no matter what,” Esther Jenner said. “There’s such raunchy publicity all the time. I don’t know. I’ve brought this up to him on the phone when we’ve talked and he says, ‘Mum ,you can’t believe this stuff,” he said, ‘You can’t pay any attention to this stuff,’ and I said, ‘Well I want to tell you one thing Bruce, I don’t care if what they’re putting out is true or false, it’s not going to change my love for you,’ and it’s true that’s exactly how I feel, but I don’t like it.”

Maybe Bruce Jenner felt it was time to bring his mom up to speed about what everyone else seems to already know.

  • Kris Jenner Called A ‘Controlling Monster’ By Bruce Jenner’s Mom

Kris Jenner has been known to be a bit of a control freak, but now her ex-mother-in-law has opened up about the Keeping up with the Kardashians matriarch, calling her a “controlling monster.”

The 88-year-old mother of Bruce Jenner recently spoke to the Daily Mail about her former daughter-in-law and how she was ecstatic when Kris filed for divorce.

Kris and Bruce were married in April 1991, and their marriage lasted 22 years before they separated in October 2013. Esther said she hasn’t been happy about her son’s marriage since the day they said “I do.”

“I don’t think she treated anybody very well,” Esther said. “What do you do with a person like that? … She’s domineering — it’s do it her way, or there’s no way. I had very little to do with Kris. I stayed away from her as much as I could.”

Not only is Esther happy about Bruce’s divorce, she said she can tell her son is just as happy. “He is ecstatically happy right now,” she said. “When I talk to him I can hear it in his voice … Since he has got his freedom he has his own checkbook and doesn’t have to ask Kris for money, which he’s had to do. He couldn’t even buy one of his little helicopters without asking her for money.”

Kris and Bruce have two children together Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Esther said Bruce was the sole parent while Kris was busy partying and socializing. Bruce also has four other children, Burt and Casey, from his marriage to first wife Chrystie Crownover, and Brandon and Brody, with second wife Linda Thompson. Esther said Kris never treated Bruce’s kids right, and would bad mouth them.

“Kris has been so disrespectful,” Esther explained. “She would sit down and bad mouth my grandchildren that I love dearly from Bruce’s first two marriages, and then in the next breath [say] how wonderful, wonderful, wonderful her girls were.”
