Mark Wahlberg Finally Gets His Hole-in-One

Mark Wahlberg just missed scoring a hole-in-one about a month ago during the Pebble Beach Pro-Am at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course. Just inches away from the big moment, the actor spun a 153-yard-shot for what wound up a rather disappointing birdie.

On Friday morning, however, luck was on Mark Wahlberg’s side. The actor achieved his hole-in-one at Pelican Hill Golf Club. He was using one of Rory McIroy’s balls. He proudly displayed it when sharing his excitement on social media.

Rory McIlroy lauded Mark Wahlberg–and remarked about the ball.

Golf isn’t Mark Wahlberg’s only sports passion. In 2013, the former rapper bought into the Barbados Tridents cricket franchise.

“I am a huge cricket fan now,” he said at the time. “I’m excited to be a part of the Limacol Caribbean Premier League because I know cricket is huge in the Caribbean and a rich part of the region’s heritage,” Wahlberg said in a statement. “Sports and entertainment are a powerful combination, and the LCPL will appeal to a huge audience worldwide.”

The brother of actor and New Kids on the Block singer Donnie Wahlberg, Mark Wahlberg and his brothers are partners in a restaurant venture, too, called Wahlbergers.

Mark Wahlberg was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in Martin Scorsese’s 2006 film The Departed.

After Friday’s score, do you think Mark Wahlberg would say he favors acting or golfing more?

  • Bridget Moynahan Talks “Blue Bloods” Reagan Dinner Table, Cookbook Inspired by It

Bridget Moynahan plays Erin Reagan on the hit CBS show Blue Bloods, now in its sixth season. Recently co-authoring a cookbook, Moynahan says much of it was inspired by those Blue Bloods scenes played out around the dinner table that grace a part of every episode.

“I think it’s the moment that people get to see the characters as real humans and the most vulnerable because you’re with your family,” Bridget Moynahan said during an interview with CBS This Morning. “But I also think it’s a moment that they reflect and think, ‘gosh, I wish we were able to do that’ or looking back on memories.”

Moynahan says each of the show’s characters has developed their own strategy for filming those dinner scenes.

“Tom (Tom Selleck) butters his bread–and that’s kind of really good because you could think and talk and you could butter that bread for as long as you want and there’s no issues with food getting in your teeth,” she explains. “I cut it up for a long time–now my thing is eating mashed potatoes.”

The Blue Bloods Cookbook features dishes inspired by those Reagan family dinners. Bridget Moynahan says by the time the cookbook was published, the Blue Bloods cast had sat down at that dinner table for 111 dinners. Some of the recipes are her own from her childhood.

One of Moynahan’s personal favorites is Swedish meatballs. She had them every Christmas Eve as a child. Now her own son Benjamin asks for them frequently.

Are you a Blue Bloods fan? Do those Reagan family dinners make you yearn for a large family and classic dining room full of aunts, uncles, and cousins?

Of course, who wouldn’t kill to have Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, or Bridget Moynahan come to dinner?

While purchasing The Blue Blood Cookbook won’t guarantee a dinner guest, it will guarantee some fabulous recipes inspired by both the cast, the show, and Bridget Moynahan. The cookbook is available at bookstores now.

Blue Bloods airs on Friday nights at 10:00 p.m. on CBS.

  • Bridget Moynahan: “Blue Bloods” Actress Shares Wedding Pics from Saturday Nuptials

Bridget Moynahan married businessman Andrew Frankel in a small wedding ceremony in the Hamptons on Saturday. Now the Blood Bloods actress, known for her role as Erin Reagan, is sharing a couple of photos from her nuptials with her fans.

Bridget Moynahan was rather tight-lipped about her impending nuptials. It was a big surprise to many that she had tied the knot this past weekend.

“Oh, by the way, guess what I just did @johndolanphotog #sohappy #perfection #friends #family #forever,” the bride captioned this gorgeous shot that shows off the beautiful bride and handsome groom.

Bridget Moynahan no doubt made her dad very proud when he walked her down the aisle.

“I love you Dad #perfection #proud #priceless @johndolanphotog,” she captioned the following photo.

The ladies in this next shot were likely Bridget Moynahan’s attendants. Although she doesn’t doesn’t list them by name, she thanks them for making her day special.

“Best girls in the world @elowlandscape @diane_burgio_design @thelovetshop @sjtraveler thanks for making my day so special,” she wrote.

Noticeably absent from Bridget Moynahan’s photos was one of the son she shares with Tom Brady. She and the New England Patriots quarterback were involved in a relationship for about three years. Son Benjamin spends time with both his mom and dad. Andrew Frankel has three sons. A wedding pic of all four boys would likely thrill Bridget’s fans.

It’s uncertain if Bridget Moynahan’s Blue Blood co-stars attended her wedding or not. It certainly would be fun to see photos of Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, and more enjoying themselves at the festivities.

Congratulations are certainly in order for Bridget Moynahan and Andrew Frankel. May they enjoy many happy years together as husband and wife.

  • Jennifer Esposito Not Returning to Season Four of ‘Mistresses’

Jennifer Esposito won’t return to the fourth season of Mistresses when it debuts next summer. ABC just announced on Friday that the show had been renewed for another season.

Playing the role of fashion designer Calista Raines, Jennifer Esposito was under contract for just one year when she signed on to the cast of Mistresses after Alyssa Milano left the show.

Since her character was last seen contemplating suicide, that’s likely how her departure will be written into the script for next summer.

Based on the U.K. series of the same name, Mistresses is executive-produced by Rina Mimoun, KJ Steinberg, Robert Sertner and Douglas Rae.

In addition to her role on Mistresses, Jennifer Esposito played the part of Donnie Wahlberg’s character Danny Reagan on Blue Bloods.

Mistresses stars Yunjin Kim, Rochelle Aytes, Jes Macallan, Brett Tucker, and Rob Mayes. The show is about the lives of four women and the relationships–some of them illicit–they experience.

Are you a fan of Mistresses? How do you expect the show fare sans Jennifer Esposito?

  • Donnie Wahlberg Thinks Jenny McCarthy’s Hot Pink ‘Do Is “Beautiful”

Donnie Wahlberg was likely just as surprised as everyone else when Jenny McCarthy debuted her new hot pink hair on Tuesday.

Of course, Donnie Wahlberg is going to love the way Jenny looks, no matter what she does.

On the Today show, when Jenny debuted her new look for Kathie Lee and Hoda, she described how it came to be.

She said, “This morning I woke up and I said, ‘I’m feeling pink.’”

    She added, “There’s [always] bleach!”

Thank you to my amazing hair & makeup team this morning! @juliusmichael1 & @mspriscillanyc

A photo posted by Jenny McCarthy (@jennyannmccarthy) on

McCarthy also said, “I’m very much about the present moment. This is something I’ve wanted to do forever, but I’ve always been told by networks and bosses, ‘Don’t do it.’ But you know what, before I’m 80 — like Barbara Walters isn’t going to dye her hair this color! I’m still at that age where I can get away with it for like a month.”

She also explained Donnie Wahlberg’s reaction, saying, “I showed him this morning quickly and he’s like, ‘You look beautiful.’”

Of course, Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy are ridiculous when it comes to each other, as will be witnessed on their show Donnie Loves Jenny.

Only 1 more week until #donnielovesjenny!

A photo posted by Jenny McCarthy (@jennyannmccarthy) on

Jenny McCarthy gushed that they even “FaceTime sleep” when Wahlberg is on tour or she is out of town for work.

“He’s on the pillow [next to me] — I sleep and I hear him snore. And we sleep that way on the road.” she explained.

    Ok, that’s just weird.

As crazy as Jenny and Donnie Wahlberg are for each other, it was still Jenny’s hair that stole the show.

This seems to be a trend lately, what with Kelly Ripa‘s antics and all.

    Shady's back, tell a friend…….. @ryantrygstadhair

Who do you think will be next? And do you agree with Donnie Wahlberg that Jenny’s new hot pink hair is beautiful?

  • Jenny McCarthy Has A Very Low Opinion Of ‘The View’, Says Show Won’t Last Much Longer

If Jenny Mccarthy is to be believed, fans of The View better enjoy the show while it’s still on air.

Barbara Walters’ former co-host has a pretty low opinion on the chances of the talk show still remaining on air for much longer because of the producers’ serial dating tendencies.

“It’s like a serial dater. Stick with one boyfriend and don’t go on Tinder,” the actress said of The View’s tendency to keep changing sets, background and even hosts.

The show is admittedly notorious for the quick turnaround of hosts in recent years.

McCarthy left the show after only one season, along with show stalwart Sherri Shepherd. Since then, The View has welcomed Nicole Wallace, Rosie Perez and Rosie O’Donnell (who was welcomed twice) and a slew of guest panelists.

O’Donnell has already left the show (again) and there have been rumors that Perez is also on the way out.

According to McCarthy, the problem is that the producers are afflicted with a bad case of instant gratification.

“If it doesn’t boil quick, you’re out,” she said. “I feel like they’re not allowing anything to grow.

Going back to her dating metaphor, the 42-year-old McCarthy believes the solution is to “give that relationship all you’ve got and ride through the bumps and waves.”

Since the new Mrs. Donnie Wahlberg seems to have figured The View out, would she be willing to go back and help keep it afloat?

“No, thank you,” was her answer to an offer one producer made. “Because I couldn’t be me,” she explained.

And being herself is apparently very important to the blonde bombshell.  Luckily, her new show Dirty, Sexy, Funny on SiriusXM allows her to be herself and more, something that the funny lady is grateful for.

“I’ve never been more happy with a job in my entire life…I get to be myself,” she raved about her new show.

  • Jenny McCarthy: Why She Won’t Have Any More Kids

Jenny McCarthy is happily married to Donnie Wahlberg.

As a mother of an preteen son, Ethan, Jenny McCarthy is working on blending her son with Wahlberg’s two sons, Xavier and Elijah.

It’s hard work, but Jenny McCarthy thinks it is a blessing to all of them.

Jenny McCarthy said, “Integration is not easy for any family, so it took baby steps in some areas.”

She added, “We talked about this last night. We said, ‘It’s funny how we can see how each child is a blessing for each other.’ Like Evan is so influenced by Elijah, Donnie’s son who’s his similar age. And what Elijah means to me in my life that I didn’t necessarily get from anybody before.”

She went on to say, “So if everyone can just realize that integration is for a reason and you look at it like blessings, it makes it so much easier to just accept what is and kind of go through those bumps and grinds with peace.”

It seems like Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg have got this blended family thing figured out!

But, will Jenny McCarthy be adding to their family anytime soon? Definitely not. In fact, she seems to be looking forward to a time when she and her husband can enjoy life alone together.

Jenny McCarthy said, “When you work so hard and your kids are out of the diaper phase, out of the high chair and you get rid of all that stuff…to start over again? No way!”

She added, “I want to go towards the light with my husband while we still can walk.”

Oh, I’m sure Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg will be able to walk for a long time!

Blended families are tough! What do you think about Jenny McCarthy’s decision not to add babies to the situation?

  • Donnie Wahlberg, Jenny McCarthy Won’t Add to Family

Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy tied the knot back in August after dating for about 13 months. Baby won’t make three for this couple, however.

Jenny McCarthy has a son named Evan, who is autistic. Donnie Wahlberg’s son Elijah is around the same age. The two have decided that these sons from before they met each other are plenty of children for them.

“When you work so hard and your kids are out of the diaper phase, out of the high chair and you get rid of all that stuff…to start over again? No way! I want to go towards the light with my husband while we still can walk,” McCarthy said in a recent interview.

She admits that bringing their blended family together wasn’t always easy for her and the Blue Bloods star.

“Integration is not easy for any family, so it took baby steps in some areas,” Jenny McCarthy said.

“We talked about this last night. We said, ‘It’s funny how we can see how each child is a blessing for each other.’ Like Evan is so influenced by Elijah, Donnie’s son who’s his similar age. And how Elijah means to me in my life that I didn’t necessarily get from anybody before. So if everyone can just realize that integration is for a reason and you look at it like blessings, it makes it so much easier to just accept what is and kind of go through those bumps and grinds with peace,” she added.

In addition to starring on Blue Bloods, Donnie Wahlberg is a member of the boy band New Kids On the Block. Jenny McCarthy launched her career thanks to Playboy magazine. She was a nude model back in 1993 and soon became Playmate of the Year. These days she hosts a radio show on Sirius/XM called Dirty, Sexy, Funny with Jenny McCarthy. She was in a relationship with Jim Carrey for several years. Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy just finished up season one of their A&E show Donnie Loves Jenny.

Are you surprised to learn that Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy won’t be adding to their family? With their careers and the sons they already have, it sounds like their schedules are likely maxed.

  • Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg ‘Make Out Everywhere,’ Leading Morgan Freeman to Tell Them to ‘Get a Room’

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg make out everywhere, according to, well, Donnie Wahlberg.

During a recent People Now segment, Donnie Wahlberg conceded that he and Jenny McCarthy make out everywhere and was once told by Morgan Freeman to “get a room” when he caught them making out.

“We make out everywhere, there are no holds barred,” said Donnie Wahlberg. “Morgan Freeman told us at the Emmy’s to ‘get a room’ after we were making out.”

Perhaps that is the workout Jenny McCarthy relies on to stay in shape, because the 42-year-old actress conceded to OK! magazine that exercise is not necessarily a priority.

“Exercise is often pushed to the back burner. When I do have the time, I walk on a treadmill with a steep decline for 45 minutes a day,” said Jenny McCarthy.

“Listening to a few of my favorite songs, like Shake It Off and You’re the One That I Want from Grease, helps motivate me,” said McCarthy.

Apart from getting it on with her husband, Jenny McCarthy reportedly relies more on her diet to keep her in shape. She told the magazine that she often begins her day with a smoothie and two scrambled eggs. She also seems to have some knowledge about which snacks will benefit her the most.

“A little fat in your diet helps speed up metabolism… [watermelon] helps reduce water retention,” she explained.

“I avoid gluten as much as possible because it’s hard to digest and I’m allergic. [But] I can’t help [a Chicago-style pizza]… I love eating.”

  • Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg Star in a Reality Show

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are bringing their love to the small screen.

Wahlberg and McCarthy tied the knot in August outside of Chicago. 90 guests attended the 20 minute ceremony. McCarthy was escorted down the aisle by her son Evan. Wahlberg shared with Us Weekly that he “won the lottery” by marrying McCarthy. She added that, “We are ready to live happily ever after.”

It looks like their fairytale includes a reality show.

The happy newlyweds now want to share their marriage with the world. Wahlberg and McCarthy recently signed a deal with A&E to produce a reality show about their relationship. Donnie Loves Jenny will be a 10-episode series. The first episode, an hour long special, will document their wedding. The remaining nine episodes will be 30 minutes and highlight the ups and downs since they said I do.

Donnie Loves Jenny premieres early next year. In a statement, Wahlberg and McCarthy had this to say about their upcoming series:

Not only have we found a new home together, we have found the perfect place for our exciting new projects to live with A&E Network. We’re so excited about this deal and look forward to a long and successful relationship creating entertaining and provocative unscripted programming with our partners at A&E. Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about than about us? We love working together and with our crazy schedules, this gives us the chance to both work and play together.

Wahlberg and his family currently star in another reality show on A&E: Wahlburgers. The reality series follows the Wahlberg family as they try to run a restaurant business. McCarthy has guest starred on the series. The Executive Vice President of A&E David McKillop said that he was thrilled to join the couple through their next chapter. He also added, “Viewers have enjoyed following their relationship on the Wahlburgers and we look forward to sharing the next part of their journey.

The Wahlburgers production company 44 Blue Productions, along with D&J Productions, will produce Donnie Loves Jenny.

  • Jenny McCarthy Talks Sex With Donnie Wahlberg

Jenny McCarthy has always been a pretty blunt woman and she’s never been afraid to talk about sex. Now that she is married to Donnie Wahlberg, she is happy to discuss their relationship and is even willing to offer some details about their sex life.

Jenny recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live and told Andy Cohen and the audience all about her marriage. When a fan asked about their sex life, Jenny didn’t hesitate to give an answer.

“Without a doubt, it gets better every single time I make love to him,” Jenny said of her husband. “First of all, he has the most beautiful penis I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Another guest on the show, Tom Bergeron, interrupted Jenny to ask her what she meant by beautiful.

“Sometimes they’re deformed-looking, and sometimes they’re a different color than you’re used to,” Jenny answered. “Some are, like, purple, some are pink.”

She went on to say that Donnie’s penis is perfect for her.

“The size is perfect,” McCarthy raved, as the camera panned to her husband laughing in the audience. “I can’t get too descriptive, but…it fits my vagina perfectly. It hits the spot.” She added: “The thing about it is…he makes love to a woman.”

Donnie happened to be in the audience during the conversation and appeared a little embarrassed.

“Not any woman!” he interjected from his seat. “Just you!”

Jenny then remembered that she was on television and got a little embarrassed herself.

“God, his family’s watching! I’m so sorry,” she said.

What do you think of Jenny’s detailed explanation of her sex life?

  • Donnie Wahlberg, Mark Wahlberg Vegas Bound

Donnie Wahlberg, Mark Wahlberg Vegas Bound

Donnie Wahlberg might be a newlywed, and very wrapped up in his marriage to Jenny McCarthy, but that doesn’t mean he’s not still a businessman at heart. He and brother Mark Wahlberg–along with their brother, executive chef at Wahlburgers, Paul Wahlberg–are headed to Las Vegas to open three new Wahlburgers restaurants. The first of the three is scheduled to open in early 2015 at an as-yet undisclosed location in the city. The other two restaurants will reportedly open within the next five years.

“My brothers and I have been committed to doing things right with high standards of quality from the beginning. We are glad to have found partners who will uphold our values and create something really special for Las Vegas residents and people from all over the world who visit this incredible destination,” Paul Wahlberg said in a press release.

Donnie Wahlberg–who stars in Blue Bloods alongside Tom Selleck–spoke with Boston.com recently. He indicated that he’s experienced lots of changes–but lots of success, too–in the past year or so.

“In one short year,” he said, “I’m married, ‘Wahlburgers’ is now on TV and a hit show, we’re opening restaurants everywhere and I’ve probably went from the busiest guy on earth to the happiest guy on earth.”

Ummm–Blue Bloods? He forgot to mention he stars in Blue Bloods. Maybe romance has gone to his head? At least he tweets about the show.

Donnie Wahlberg married Jenny McCarthy on August 31st. McCarthy says he’s a bona fide romantic.

“Two to three times a week, Donnie sends me a bouquet of flowers and it literally says, ‘Just because I love you.’ I am like, ‘I can’t believe you! Please don’t ever stop that, please please,’” Jenny McCarthy says.

Will opening three restaurants in Vegas curb Donnie Wahlberg’s romantic enthusiasm? Or will Paul Wahlberg handle the majority of the Wahlburgers operations?

Those Wahlberg brothers are busy guys. Do you predict even more success for Donnie Wahlberg, Mark Wahlberg, and their brother Paul? Or will Wahlburgers hit a wall when they expand to Las Vegas?

  • Donnie Wahlberg, Brothers Take Business To Vegas

Donnie Wahlberg is enjoying his newlywed status with Jenny McCarthy, but he never lets his attention waver too far from business; the actor and musician will be opening up three new restaurant locations in Las Vegas soon in a venture with his family.

The Wahlbergs released a statement recently saying they are excited to announce the upcoming opening of Wahlburgers in Las Vegas, which will debut in 2015, and two more locations will follow. Donnie, Mark, and Paul–who is executive chef–opened their first location in Massachusetts in 2011.

“My brothers and I have been committed to doing things right with high standards of quality from the beginning. We are glad to have found partners who will uphold our values and create something really special for Las Vegas residents and people from all over the world who visit this incredible destination,” said Paul Wahlberg in a statement.

The family is the subject of a reality show with the same name as their restaurant, which follows the brothers as they merge family with business. Donnie recently told Boston.com that he feels like the “luckiest guy on Earth” with all the successes that have come his way this year.

“In one short year. I’m married, ‘Wahlburgers’ is now on TV and a hit show, we’re opening restaurants everywhere and I’ve probably went from the busiest guy on earth to the happiest guy on earth,” he said.

While some might think that working with family members would be difficult, Wahlberg says he believes that working so closely with them this year has only brought them closer and made him see what’s really important.

“I think sometimes I work so much I drift away from them. I think spending time with the family this summer has sort of helped me re-prioritize,” he said.

  • Jenny McCarthy Shares Newlywed Selfie

    Jenny McCarthy Shares Newlywed Selfie

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg have shared their first newlywed selfie.

The 41-year-old television host and 45-year-old actor said their vows in St. Charles, Illinois on Sunday, August 31.

The couple wed in an intimate 20-minute ceremony, surrounded by their closest friends and family members.

McCarthy revealed to People in July that she didn’t care where the ceremony took place.

“I could get married in Kentucky Fried Chicken,” she said. “I don’t care as long as the heart is in the ceremony.”

Unfortunately, there was one person who was not able to attend the couple’s nuptials. Donnie’s brother Mark Wahlberg had a prior engagement and was not able to attend. However, he did send his love to the couple through a congratulatory video. “I love you, Donnie, we’re very happy for you,” he said. “Sorry we couldn’t be there, we’ll see you soon.”

After the couple returned from their honeymoon, they decided to share a selfie of themselves on Twitter. “Mr & Mrs Wahlberg, checking in from heaven,” they captioned the photo. “Thank you for all of your well wishes. #happy.”

McCarthy announced her engagement on the morning show The View back in April. “This weekend I was sitting with Donnie … and he went into the other room and out came Evan [her 11-year-old son] with a card that said ‘Will’ and he handed it to me,” she said at the time. “Then Evan ran away and Evan came in with a card that said ‘You.’ … I just started crying and then Evan came back into the room with the word ‘Marry’ — but spelled wrong.”

“The last time, Donnie came out with Evan and Donnie’s shirt said ‘Me’ … and he got down on his knee,” she continued.

  • Jenny McCarthy is Now Married to Donnie Wahlberg

Famed actress and Playboy Playmate Jenny McCarthy is once again married. The 41-year-old star married singer/actor Donnie Wahlberg on Sunday in St. Charles, Illinois.

McCarthy had announced the couple’s engagement back in April on ABC’s The View. This is the second marriage for both McCarthy and Wahlberg.

According to a People report, the wedding was attended by famous friends of the couple including Joey McIntyre and Sherri Shepherd.

One conspicuous absence, however, was Wahlberg’s famous brother. Mark Wahlberg was reportedly tied up with his daughter Ella’a birthday and unable to attend the ceremony. The Transformers: Age of Extinction star did send his public regards to the couple, posting a video with his family on Facebook and sending out a congratulatory tweet.

McCarthy rose to fame in the mid-90s as the 1993 Playboy Playmate of the Year. She went on to begin her acting career as the co-host of the MTV show Singled Out and has subsequently starred in movies including Scream 3, John Tucker Must Die, and Witless Protection.

More recently McCarthy has been in the spotlight for replacing Joy Behar as a co-host on The View, though she recently moved on from the show. Both McCarthy and Shepherd announced earlier this summer that they would be leaving The View.

In addition to her acting and modeling, McCarthy has gained infamy in recent years for her stance on vaccinations. The star revealed in 2007 that her son, Evan, had been diagnosed with autism. McCarthy went on to become an activist for autism research and treatment, advocating the view that vaccines can cause autism. Though her views were vocally debunked by the medical community, McCarthy became the unofficial face of the anti-vaccine movement in the U.S.

Donnie Wahlberg is best-known as a member of boy band New Kids on the Block. He has gone on to star in movies and TV shows including Band of Brothers, Dreamcatcher, and The Sixth Sense.

  • Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg Marry Sans Brother Mark Wahlberg

Jenny McCarthy and Blue Bloods star Donnie Wahlberg were married Sunday.

The nuptials were held at the beautiful and historic Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois, just outside McCarthy’s hometown of Chicago.

According to People magazine, the 41-year-old former The View co-host wore a gown she found during a July shopping excursion at Bergdorf Goodman.

The couple reportedly began dating last summer and became engaged in April in a very unique way.

McCarthy‘s 12-year-old son Evan gave Donnie a hand in the proposal by delivering notes to his mom with the words “Will” and “You” and “Marry,” followed by Donnie’s big entrance wearing a t-shirt that said “Me?”

McCarthy posted a photo on Instagram Saturday that appears to have been taken during weekend celebrations.

In attendance at the ceremony was McCarthy’s The View co-host, Sherri Shepherd, who posted an Instagram photo before boarding a plane to Chicago, with the caption: “Catching an early morning flight to @jennyannmccarthy & @donniewahlberg’s wedding … What a beautiful day to join as one before God! Congrats to two beautiful people!”

Donnie’s New Kids on the Block pals Jordan Knight, Danny Wood and Jonathan Knight also attended the ceremony.

The groom’s brother, Mark Wahlberg, was unable to attend, but tweeted his congratulations.

Mark also posted a congratulatory video on Facebook, which is no longer available.

“I love you, Donnie, we’re very happy for you,” he says in the video, surrounded by his wife and four kids. “Sorry we couldn’t be there, we’ll see you soon.”

    To which the groom responded:

This is the second marriage for both. Donnie also has two sons, 21-year-old Xavier and 13-year-old Elijah.

  • Jenny McCarthy: Mark Wahlberg Skipping Donnie Wahlberg Wedding?

Jenny McCarthy is reportedly marrying Donnie Wahlberg on Saturday, but rumor has it brother Mark Wahlberg won’t be in attendance. Why? That same rumor also claims he and his wife aren’t fans of the bride.

TMZ is reporting that multiple sources say Mark Wahlberg’s wife wasn’t happy about a recent interview Jenny McCarthy did with Howard Stern. She apparently felt Jenny was making her relationship with her brother-in-law to be out to be something it isn’t.

TMZ also reports that they contacted Mark Wahlberg, who said he won’t be at the wedding because he will be attending a birthday party for his daughter Ella–in L.A. The wedding is said to be taking place in New York. It’s up for debate as to which scenario is the bona fide truth it seems.

Hollywood Life reports that Donnie Wahlberg’s family is flying to New York for the Saturday wedding.

The former Playboy model and star of The View became engaged to Donnie Wahlberg back in April.

Jenny McCarthy said recently that paring down the wedding guest list was going to be difficult.

“The hardest part is we have to cut down the wedding list, because the place we’re getting married at, it’s very boutique. With Donnie’s 800 relatives – yes, 800. I’ve got 6,000 McCarthys,” she said.

Did the Blue Bloods star’s brother help pare down that list for her?

There’s been lots of chatter about the New Kids on the Block star marrying Jenny McCarthy. Not all of it has been positive. Perhaps once they tie the knot and get on with their married life, the Wahlberg family will hop on board?

What’s your take on Jenny McCarthy marrying Donnie Wahlberg? Do you expect Mark Wahlberg will show for the nuptials or is he really tied down at that birthday party in L.A.?

  • Jenny McCarthy Out, Nicolle Wallace and October Gonzalez In on The View?

Jenny McCarthy said goodbye to The View on Thursday as rumors about the hiring of two new co-hosts hit the media. Nicolle Wallace and October Gonzalez will supposedly soon join Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg–taking both McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd’s spots on the daytime talk show.

Whoopi Goldberg was absent on McCarthy’s last day. Speculation had her tying up loose ends regarding the new hires.

“When I chose to come to The View one year ago, the opportunity represented two things for me,” McCarthy said during her final broadcast. “First was that, after 20 years in the business and paying a lot of dues…., working as a talk show host alongside the single most respected female news journalists of all time, Miss Barbara Walters. All I can say is ‘Wow, am I grateful!’”

Jenny McCarthy continued. “Second, was continuing to do what I’ve always tried to do in any situation I’ve ever found myself in, which is to learn.”

“My time here was short, but the memories and lessons learned here will stay with me forever and for that, and to you guys at home who have supported me, I am grateful,” McCarthy said after singing the praises of The View’s Executive Producer Bill Gedde.

“Working with you, I can now say I have worked with the best in the business — you are one of a kind and thank you,” she told Gedde.

It will certainly be interesting to see if an official confirmation regarding Nicolle Wallace and October Gonzalez is announced in the coming days. Whoopi Goldberg returned to The View on Friday. On Monday the show will feature a taped goodbye from Sherri Shepherd.

  • Jenny McCarthy Reveals New Gig Following Departure from ‘The View’

Jenny McCarthy has revealed what her next gig will be following her departure from The View.

McCarthy announced Monday during an appearance on Good Morning America that she will be hosting an exclusive limited-run, live show on SiriusXM.

The new show entitled, Dirty, Sexy, Funny with Jenny McCarthy, will reportedly feature the fearlessly frank star discussing topics such as parenting, sex, dating and marriage, and of course, chats with celebrity guests and friends.

“It’s no secret that I love to talk. I’m excited to do it on SiriusXM without having to interrupt anyone or keep things clean. You can bet your sweet ass this show will live up to its title,” McCarthy said in a statement.

Confirmed guests on her new show include Chelsea Handler, Perez Hilton and her fiancé, Donnie Wahlberg.

Last week, McCarthy confirmed her exit from The View, and told fans to stay tuned for news of her future plans.

“So grateful to have worked with Barbara Walters in her last year, as well as many producers and co-hosts, and after much consideration, I’ve taken a new job that will allow me to do what I do best — which is talk without having to interrupt anyone,” she said on the June 7 episode of The View. “I will be announcing it in the next few weeks and I couldn’t be more grateful for the fans like you guys who supported us, so stay tuned… even if it does compete with The View.”

Last week, Rosie O’Donnell‘s return to The View was confirmed. Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar, and Whoopi Goldberg — who will be the only returning host in the fall — have all commented, and McCarthy shared her own thoughts on the controversial move to bring O’Donnell back.

“I love Rosie. I have been a fan of hers forever,” she told Us Weekly over the weekend. “I knew they were looking to bring some heat to the table and there is no doubt that with Rosie there will be some heat. They are definitely going in the direction of fire.”

“It’s going to be some exciting television,” McCarthy continued. “I will be there with my beer and popcorn at 11 in the morning. I can’t wait to see how it plays out.”

  • Jenny McCarthy Wants A Simple Wedding

Jenny McCarthy Wants A Simple Wedding

Jenny McCarthy announced her engagement to Donnie Wahlberg back in April on an episode of The View.

She revealed all of the details about her unique proposal, and how Donnie incorporated Jenny’s son Evan when he decided to ask Jenny to marry him.

“I was sitting on the couch doing what every girl does saying, ‘Tell me how much you love me,’ when he left the room,” McCarthy explained about her proposal. “He and my son Evan came running back in holding a piece of paper saying ‘Will’.”

The duo then left the room and came back with a piece of paper that read “you.” “Then [Donnie and Evan] disappeared and ran back in with another piece of paper that read ‘Mary’, but misspelled it without the second R,” Jenny laughed. Donnie then put on a t-shirt that had the word “me” written on it. When Jenny realized what was happening, she started crying tears of happiness.

The couple previously joked that they would not be having a wedding as extravagant as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s. “We’re not getting married in Istanbul with eight million guests,” Donnie said. “I won’t have three dresses. No seven dresses, not going to happen… that’s their thing, good for them,” Jenny added.”

“We’ll have a small wedding in a really beautiful place and we both want do it right this time,” Donnie told Extra. “We’ve both been married before and we want to make it special – this is the last wedding.”

The couple revealed that they haven’t officially started planning the wedding, and are taking this time to enjoy their engagement and time together.

  • Jenny McCarthy, Donnie Wahlberg Reveal Details About Wedding Plans

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are getting married!

Now, rumors regarding details about their upcoming wedding are running rampant. However, most of the outlandish reports are the furthest thing from the truth.

So, the 41-year-old model-actress has taken the time to offer some clarity. According to Extra TV, she and her singer-actor fiancé made it clear that they won’t be having a lavish, extravagant ceremony.

“We’re not getting married in Istanbul with eight million guests,” Wahlberg clarified. “I won’t have three dresses,” McCarthy added.

The former New Kids On the Block singer went on to address another outlandish rumor that has been circulating about the wedding. “No seven dresses, not going to happen… that’s their thing, good for them.”

For those who aren’t quite sold on their admiration for simplicity, they even stated that they’d be satisfied with exchanging vows at Applebees! Although that idea is about as far-fetched as the wedding rumors, McCarthy spoke with the Boston Herald about it just a couple weeks ago.

The View co-host told the publication that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s star-studded, extravagant wedding plans only heightened her desire to take a more simplified approach toward marriage.

However, her interest in the popular restaurant chain didn’t go unnoticed! Applebees actually tweeted McCarthy, welcoming the couple with open arms.

“I thought it was very cute that Applebee’s tweeted us, so we went in on it, we actually said maybe we should have them do the appetizers,” McCarthy said. Wahlberg also added a suggestion of his own saying, “Or the wedding rehearsal dinner, it was really sweet of them.”

While the happy couple admitted that they haven’t even begun planning their wedding, they’re definitely enjoying the engagement. However, they did confirm that the occasion will be a small, intimate affair.

“We’ll have a small wedding in a really beautiful place and we both want do it right this time… we’ve both been married before and we want to make it special… this is the last wedding so…,” he said.

No matter what they decide, the wedding will surely be beautiful.
