  • Depressed Goat Reunites With Burro Friend [VIDEO]

In a heartwarming story that will show you just how strong the emotional bond between animals can be, a depressed goat ended his hunger strike after being reunited with his burro friend.

That probably sounds more like the twisted plot of the next Disney or DreamWorks animated film than a real story, but workers at the Animal Place sanctuary witnessed this event just a week ago.

To backtrack a little, earlier this year dozens of animals were removed from a hoarder’s residence. A goat named Mr. G and a burro named Jellybean were two of the animals that were retrieved. After living together for around ten years, the rescued goat and burro were placed in different sanctuaries, and it quickly became obvious that the goat was depressed. According to Animal Place, a sanctuary in northern California, Mr. G “refused to eat” and “spent his days lying in a corner of his stall, barely lifting his head.”

Check out the depressed goat below.

Mr. G went four days without eating before officials decided to reunite the depressed goat with his friend Jellybean. After the decision was made, it took three days to get the animal duo back together again.

Check out a video of the depressed goat and burro reuniting below–don’t forget to grab a few tissues to have on hand for when the waterworks inevitably begin.

As you saw in the video, it didn’t take long at all for Mr. G to end his hunger strike after being reunited with his best friend. As if seeing the goat being lifted from his depression after seeing his friend Jellybean wasn’t enough, the two animals later shared food from the same bowl. If your eyes didn’t mist over at a minimum at that point, then your heart might be on par with the Grinch’s before the people of Whoville got to him.

No surprise there, but the video has stirred up some very strong emotions on Twitter.

Officials at Animal Place have decided to keep both Mr. G and Jellybean as “permanent residents” at the sanctuary. Hopefully the once depressed goat will get to hang out with his burro friend for years to come.

  • Don’t Have Sex With Your Employer’s Donkey

Donkeys are a valuable commodity in some parts of the world. You probably shouldn’t mess with them, especially when that donkey belongs to your employer.

Standard Digital reports that a Kenyan man was recently caught having sex with his employer’s donkey. The story goes that he tied up the beast behind a bush and began to have his way with it. His employer stumbled upon the scene, alerted the public, and then the public alerted the police.

The 19-year-old man was then brought before the court. He pleaded guilty to the charges. I would like to imagine that he then launched into a passionate rant about how the state can’t keep him away from his love. That didn’t happen. Instead, he was sentenced to six years in prison.

Fortunately, this case is not connected with the much larger problem of bestiality and prostitution that is currently exploding in Kenya. It’s been found that a large group of sex workers have been colluding with people in the UK and elsewhere to send sexually explicit images, sometimes with animals, to clients overseas.

Even after all of this, we can still look on the bright side. At least none of these people thought they could create a half-man/half-donkey hybrid.

  • Donkeys Suspected in Hungary Mauling Death

It’s a given that animals are dangerous. While animals such as the Hippopotamus are known to be very dangerous, even seemingly harmless animals such as beavers can manage to kill a human.

This week, police in Hungary are investigating the violent death of an older man that involves animals not normally thought of as killers. The suspects? Two donkeys.

According to an Associated Press report, a 65-year-old man named Sandor Horvath died last week in Magyarszecsod, Hungary. Authorities say that the man was apparently pulled off his motorcycle by two donkeys and mauled to death. Horvath was reported to have been dragged for 50 meters while the animals bit and trampled him. Police are currently investigating the incident to work out exactly what happened. The results of the man’s autopsy have not been revealed.

The donkeys were reportedly being kept on land adjacent to Horvath’s farm. The animals have not yet been put down, and are being kept “under observation” while the investigation continues.

  • Google: We Didn’t Kill That Donkey. Don’t Assume About the Fate of the Ass, You Asses

Google has a history of running over animals with their Street View team.

Ok, maybe not a “history,” but they have done it before. Years ago, Google was forced to make a public response regarding a Street View still of what appeared to be Bambi lying dead on the side of the road. They admitted that one of their drivers did in fact hit a deer, but that it was able to move and eventually scurried off the road.

Still, this incident was most likely fresh in people’s minds when another Street View image began to circulate around the interwebs earlier this week.

The Street View still showed a donkey lying on its side in the middle of the road, seemingly dead or injured. The donkey appeared to be the victim of a Google hit-and-run, in the middle of the Botswana desert. Here’s the image that started it all:

HOLY SHIT GOOGLE KILLED A DONKEY, right?

Wrong. Google says that this time, their Street View team is innocent.

“As our imagery below shows, the donkey was lying in the path – perhaps enjoying a dust bath – before moving safely aside as our car drove past. I’m pleased to confirm the donkey is alive and well.”

Here’s how Google proves that they never hit the donkey:

See? It’s alive, you jerks. Don’t be so quick to ass-ume (Google’s joke, not mine).

  • No More Donkey Semen: Twitter Reacts

As reported earlier by WebProNews.com, the television show Fear Factor was to air and feature a horrid stunt. On the episode contestants were to drink donkey semen, chased by a generous helping of donkey urine. Now, it seems this is not the case, according to the NBC website, which no longer lists the episode in its line-up, instead it is replaced by a repeat episode.

Now that the network has removed the episode, what’s your opinion? Do you feel like the episode should have been aired due to the insane stunts in the past or do you think this particular stunt is too far?

  • Fear Factor To Feature Donkey Semen Stunt: Twitter Reacts

NBC executives are furious after the show Fear Factor recently revealed they would have contestants drink an entire beer mug of donkey semen with the addition of a hefty glass of donkey urine to finish. NBC was so upset, they nearly decided to remove the stunt altogether. In the stunt contestants would have to chug both the semen and the urine completely to move on to the next stunt.

According to one source the episode has been filmed and is set to air this coming monday, January 30th. It’s been reported that several contestants did, in fact, gulp down the gross substances.

Fear Factor has always had a wild reputation for sick and gross stunts; including eating cow brains, drinking animal blood, devouring insects and more, but with the addition of this insane stunt, the show really seems to be pushing the bar on the disgusting. How do you feel about such a stunt? do you find it revolting? Hilarious? Revoltingly hilarious? Let us know your opinion in the comments section.
